Analysis of Three Dimensional Positioning Accuracy of Vectorization Using UAV-Photogrammetry (무인항공사진측량을 이용한 벡터화의 3차원 위치정확도 분석)

  • There are two feature collection methods in digital mapping using the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Photogrammetry: vectorization and stereo plotting. In vectorization, planar information is extracted from orthomosaics and elevation value obtained from a DSM (Digital Surface Model) or a DEM (Digital Elevation Model). However, the exact determination of the positional accuracy of 3D features such as ground facilities and buildings is very ambiguous, because the accuracy of vectorizing results has been mainly analyzed using only check points placed on the ground. Thus, this study aims to review the possibility of 3D spatial information acquisition and digital map production of vectorization by analyzing the corner point coordinates of different layers as well as check points. To this end, images were taken by a Phantom 4 (DJI) with 3.6 cm of GSD (Ground Sample Distance) at altitude of 90 m. The outcomes indicate that the horizontal RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) of vectorization method is 0.045 cm, which was calculated from residuals at check point compared with those of the field survey results. It is therefore possible to produce a digital topographic (plane) map of 1:1,000 scale using ortho images. On the other hand, the three-dimensional accuracy of vectorization was 0.068~0.162 m in horizontal and 0.090~1.840 m in vertical RMSE. It is thus difficult to obtain 3D spatial information and 1:1,000 digital map production by using vectorization due to a large error in elevation.

  • 국립산림과학원 산림조사과에서는 지식정보화사업의 지원 하에 남한 전체 낱장/정사항공 사진 영상 DB툴 구축하고, 항공사진검색시스텀 (aerophoto.kfri.go. kr)을 개발하여 대국민 인터넷 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 5TB 대용량 항공사진 원본 영상과 메타자료를 웹 지리정보 서비스에 적합하도록 자료의 변환 방식,소프트웨어와 하드웨어의 최적 구성안, 그리고 응용 검색 시스템의 개발 기능을 소개 한다. 또한,항공사진 웹 검색 시스템은 벡터 지리정보와 항공사진 영상을 각각 전송하여 융합하고 분석하는 기능을 담당하는 클라이언트 모듈을 한정된 네트워크 환경에서 대용량 자료의 검색 속도 향상을 위하여 비동기식 처리 방식으로 개선하였다. 그리고 국가 지리정보 인프라인 정사항공사진 자료를 타 시스템과 연계 활용하기 위한 방안으로 ESRI ArcGIS 의 Plug-in 적용 사례를 제시한다.

Gazing on Photographic Image (사진이미지를 향한 응시)

  • Reading a photograph is a process of perceiving the image in it. We are able to approach the intention of the photographer only from the sensory material of the image. To make sure how we see the image when we look at a photo, this paper did an experiment with Robert Doisneau's photo, 'Un Regard Oblique'. The hypothesis was set upon the idea of Mary Ann Doane, a pioneer in Gender study. Eye-tracker, Tobii was used to measure the movements and the fixation lengths of the pupils of 44 subjects. From the results of the experiment, it was verified that people look at photographic image in a certain way. At the same time, the gazing strength was differential on every subjects and subject groups.

  • This study intended to extract the spatial data and attribute data from the images of terrestrial and aerial photographs and to compile the digital map from the images using various kinds of photogrammetric analysis. The Three Dimensional Frame Model (3DFM) was produced from multiple images of terrestial photographs, and the Three Dimensional Photo Image Model (3DPIM) was made using 3DFM and image patches of terrestrial photo, which is useful for identifying the feature and characteristics of the object. In addition, the spatial data base for the buildings, roads and supplementary facilities in the objective area was updated by the vectorizing procedures with small scale areal photos.

  • 현대 의학에서 의료 영상은 수많은 영상처리 의료기기의 핵심이다. PACS(Picture Archiving Communication System)를 통해 관리되는 의료 영상 자료들은 요청에 따라 저장, 검색 및 전송을 수행하여 신속한 의료 서비스를 가능하게 한다. 그러나 만약에 관리자의 실수로 의료 영상 데이터가 바뀐다면 이는 사용자로 하여금 불편함과 낮은 신뢰성을 야기한다. 그리하여 본 논문에서는 서포트 벡터 머신 기반의 HOG(Histogram of Oriented Gradients) 특징 벡터를 이용하여 X-ray와 MRI(Magnetic Resonance Imaging) 사진을 분류하고 의료 영상 분류의 가능성을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다.

A Comprehensive Study On Construction of Digital Image Database Using Airphoto (항공사진 이미지 데이터베이스 구축방안)

  • Airphotos taken for the management of unauthorized houses in large cities like Seoul are very important material for understanding periodic change of topogrpahy. A research on construction of digital database using airphoto are required for the efficient management of existing airphotos, for the easy and better understanding of topography together with 1; 1,000 digital topographic map, and for the easy updating of topographic data. Digital data using 1 ; 5, 000 scale airphoto scanned 1,000 dpi has been experimentally constructed from georeferenced images to orthorectified images. The technical and economical possibilities for the construction of digital database using apripjoto have been checked based on the experimentation and future direction of how to make digital database using existing airphoto has been suggested.

  • In this paper, we propose vector-based face generation system that uses montage and shading method and preserves designer(artist)'s style. Proposed system generates character's face similar to human face automatically using facial features that extracted from a photograph. In addition, unlike previous face generation system that uses contours, we propose the system is based on color and composes face from facial features and shade extracted from a photograph. Thus, it has advantages that can make more realistic face similar to human face. Since this system is vector-based, the generated character's face has no size limit and constraint. Therefore it is available to transform the shape freely and to apply various facial expressions to 2D face. Moreover, it has distinctiveness with another approaches in point that can keep artist's impression just as it is in result.

A Scheme for Matching Satellite Images Using SIFT (SIFT를 이용한 위성사진의 정합기법)

  • In this paper we propose an approach for localizing objects in satellite images. Our method exploits matching features based on description vectors. We applied Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) to object localization. First, we find keypoints of the satellite images and the objects and generate description vectors of the keypoints. Next, we calculate the similarity between description vectors, and obtain matched keypoints. Finally, we weight the adjacent pixels to the keypoints and determine the location of the matched object. The experiments of object localization by using SIFT show good results on various scale and affine transformed images. In this paper the proposed methods use Google Earth satellite images.

  • 인터넷이나 모바일 기기를 이용한 지도 서비스를 이용하는 사용자가 많아지고 그에 따라 다양한 형태의 서비스가 제공되고 있어 이를 위한 자료 구축의 필요성이 커지고 있다. 이종의 자료를 Conflation하여 직관적으로 사용자가 공간정보를 얻을 수 있게 하기 위해서는 자료 간에 공간 편이가 없어야 하나 다양한 원인으로 인해 공간 불일치가 발생하고 있어 이를 조정하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해서 도로의 교차로에서 템플릿을 형성하고 도로 후보영상과 매칭을 수행하여 자료간 조정을 수행하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 초음파 영상의 통계적 특징벡터를 활용하여 폐암 분류를 제안한다. 폐암의 초음파 사진들을 비교 분석하여 각각의 label에 맞는 feature vector를 선별한다. 선택된 feature vector는 SVM을 이용하여 훈련 시킨 후, 최종적으로 폐암을 구별한다.
