Recently, crime prediction and prevention are the most important social issues, and global and local governments have tried to prevent crime using various methodologies. One of the methodologies, data mining can be applied at various crime fields such as crime pattern analysis, crime prediction, etc. However, there is few researches to find the relationships between the results of data mining and crime components in terms of criminology. In this study, we introduced environmental criminology, and identified relationships between environment factors related with crime and variables using at data mining. Then, using real burglary data occurred in South Korea, we applied clustering to show relations of results of data mining and crime environment factors. As a result, there were differences in the crime environment caused by each cluster. Finally, we showed the meaning of data mining use at crime prediction and prevention area in terms of criminology.

Recently, crime prevention is away of important criminal justice policy and police activity also pursuit different change compare to the present times. AThis research is rather on the crime occurrence of target area's space scope than on the approach to the cause of specific area's crime occurrence from the perspective of the environmental criminology emphasizing the crime prevention. By observing the composition of crime distribution, it is intended to search the strategies of crime prevention actually corresponded to the crime problems. For this, after segmenting the city into six sectors, targeting city crimes in Gwangju metropolitan city, in 2004, the basic materials about the crime frequency are analyzed through dividing the types on the base of the present state of crime occurrence, the types of crime, the locations of crime occurrence, the purposes of buildings, the types of intruders, the forms of intrusions. As a result of research. it is suggested that the activation method of community police activities is necessary for the prevention of community crime prevention.

The occurrence of complicating, multilateral social condition demands the strategy for facing many social state and consolidating public security against criminal loss. The lacking ability of local police for preventing crime can't satisfy the demand of security and can't get rid of fear of crime. At last, it brings a distrust of public confidence and became a factor of serious social crisis. We have problems - not only making an alternative plan for preventing crime, but also introducing CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) by environmental design, to expect crime prevention and to select systemic crime prevention system and the most suitable model. And we have a goal - to recognize the importance of guard activity for local crime, analyse public safety activity in community & focusing guard activity as a strategy for them, apply CPTED in police and private security company as a local crime prevention & setting effective model, and, make it as an index for preventing & dealing with intellectual, brutal crime. The rapid growth in the guarding-activity field lighten the burden of police for crime-prevention. But the misjudgement of some people blocks it to be settled institutionally. It needs to reconsider what is the effective crime-prevention method, at this point of time when the all parts of a nation changing into unlimited competitive, private self-control system.

Environmental Redesign for Crime Prevention researchers are perceiving that raising the illuminance of the space by installing lighting for the dark space at night in the living environment will enhance the crime prevention effect. It is not realistic situation to see that simply increasing the illumination of the space will inhibit the occurrence of all crimes. In this study, it is analyzed that the measures to increase the illumination by installing lighting in the living space are used to implement the crime. It is necessary to revise the view that crime is suppressed by simply installing lighting and raising illumination. Especially Sex offenders use the space with high illumination to observe the object of crime. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a more intelligent situation recognition function in addition to simply raising the illumination.

Humans are influenced by economic factors, physical environment factors, social and environmental factors, influenced by the media. In particular, the occurrence of the crime for fear of crime due to the human activities of the area has reduced. Fear of crime inflienced by direct victim of a crime, disorder of the surrounding environment, and indirect victims of crime. Therefore, in order to reduce their fears about crime in the private security through crime prevention and. About the factors affecting their fears about crime in the actual selection of the private security and private security activities in order to solve these problems through crime prevention, through this study will be described. In this study, we randomly select the survey was in August 2011, as detached house in Seoul and Daegu. As a result, the fear of crime fears about crime were influenced directly or indirectly by factors of private security selection.

Schemes to case analysis and cope with on-line game crimes net supervision system, a real name confirmation process, and a self-examination system to check by themselves if they are addicted to on-line games with a view to prevent the addiction. In addition, this study found that general precuations should comprise measures to change the awareness of the users of the internet and to establish their ethical senses because most on-line garners are not aware that their actions are a crime and believe their crimes are not disclosed to the outsiders.

Recently, in contemporary society, because of the international economic crisis and the increase of unemployment, there are dangerous crime elements that threaten the safety of citizen. The Safety from the crime is important as much as existence of need. Therefore, in order to make the safety of community, the government needs to make the best effort. In everyday life, crime is the fear of the target. Therefore, if the government can not solve the crime problem, the quality of citizen's life can not improve. In order to safety of community, this study is the one of the crime prevention diagnosis about shopping district and shopping mall. Also, this study can apply to the policy. If this study can apply to the policy, the safety of citizen's life will be protecting. The content of this study consist of introduction in chapter 1, theoretical consideration in chapter 2, foreign crime prevention diagnosis evaluation in chapter 3, crime prevention diagnosis in chapter 4 and conclusion in chapter 5.

Crime prevention strategies are introduced to reduce the loss caused by crimes, and Target hardening against domestic burglary attacks is broadly accepted as one of such physical security strategies. In terms of business and home security, target hardening is one of the suite of protective measures that are included in crime prevention through environmental design(CPTED). This can include ensuring all doors and windows are sourced and fitted in such a way that they can resist forcible and surreptitious from the attack of intruder. Target hardening with certified security doors, security windows and secure locks are revealed to be much more effective to deter burglary attacks than other security devices, such as CCTV, lightings and alarms which have largely psychological and indirect impact. A pilot program of target hardening utilizing certified security window and locks was carried out in Ansan city, South Korea in 2016. This study is based on the quasi-experimental design of this program for a residential area. The researchers tried to verify the crime displacement effect of the target hardening program and the diffusion effects of crime prevention benefits by analysing the crime statistics. The evaluation utilized WDQ(Weighted Displacement Quotient) technique to analyze whether the crime displacement occurred, compared the crime statistics of the experimental area with that of buffer zone and controlled areas. The result showed that the target hardening program was significantly effective in crime prevention. The number of burglary in the experimental site with target hardening intervention reduced by 100%, although the areas without the intervention showed reduction in the burglary. The crime displacement was not found at all, and the number of burlary at the buffer zone also reduced significantly.

The first thing we can consider to prevent juvenile delinquency is to punish those criminals. However, this is not always the proper solution. In consideration to the feature of juvenile period when they lack in proper judgment it is better to provide education than punishment so that they are not branded as criminals in our society. Also, by returning to the society, they can obtain social techniques and obtain the opportunity of making contribution to the society, which is also good for their career development. Combining international examples on juvenile delinquency prevention, there is a need to comprehensively evaluate level of probation and risk exposure of juvenile based on placement matrix of comprehensive strategy program in the US. Also, control solution by juvenile crime development phase should be made. In terms of control treatment based on crime phase, crime history should be considered when applying control. For the subject of preventing juvenile crime, it shouldn't be legal organizations like before but shall be home, school, local society, and legal organization together.
