A study on simplified fatigue design methodology for composite structures (복합재구조물에 대한 단순화된 수명평가방법 고찰)

  • A simplified methodology is presented to predict fatigue life and residual strength of composite structures. To avoid excessive amount of tests that are required for model characterization, strength degradation parameter is assumed as function of fatigue life. S-N curve is used to extract fatigue life that is required to characterize the stress levels comprising a randomly-ordered load spectrum. And different stress ratios are handled with Goodman correction approach(fatigue envelope). It is assumed that the residual strength is a function of the number of loading cycles and applied fatigue stress amplitude. And the residual strength distribution after an arbitrary load cycles is represented by two parameter Weibull functions.

Time-Domain Geoacoustic Inversion via Light Bulb Source Signal Matching (전구음원 신호를 이용한 시간영역 지음향학적 인자 역산)

  • In this Paper. a time-domain geoacoustic inversion was performed using the bulb signals measured during MがU. 04 experiment conducted in the East Sea of Korea in 2004. An obiective function was defined as a direct cross-correlation between the measured and the simulated signals in time domain. The ray theory was used to model the wave propagation in time domain and optimizations were Performed using VFSA (very fast simulated annealing) algorithm. Comparison of inversion results with those from transmission loss matching (an accompanying paper in this issue of the Journal of the Acoustical Society of Korea) shows that Parameters are consistently inverted. Direct time series comparisons between the measured signals and the simulated signals are Presented based on inversion results.

  • This paper describes the measurement and analysis of the basic line constants in PLC(Power Line Communication) in the residential building. An apartment is considered as one of the conventional residences to get the line constants in this paper, Agilent 4263B LCR Meter is used to measure the detailed values each area and the specific results and averaged analysis data are shown in the tables. The measured results are a little bit different from the calculated values using conventional formula due to the line arrangement, neglected factors, complex permittivity, and etc. This paper describes many kinds of lines and wiring figures of domestic construction. It can be utilized with the analyzed line characteristics in frequency domain as a planning reference of PLC.

  • 수중에서 물과 공기 다공을 갖는 다공성 매질의 주파수 및 다공율 변화에 따른 음향특성을 고찰하였다. 다공성 매질로서 원통형 다공을 인위적으로 균일하게 배열한 판형 루사이트 (Lucite)를 사용하였다. 수중에서 음파를 다공성 매질의 원통형 다공의 축 방향과 평행하게 입사하였을 때, 빠른 파 (fast wave)는 다공 내의 매질에 영향을 받지 않으나, 느린 파 (slow wave) 및 원통형 다공을 전파하는 비평면 고차 정상 모드 파 (nonplanar higher normal mode wave)는 다공 내의 매질에 크게 영향을 받는다. 3MHz부터 4MHz까지의 주파수 영역에서 전체 파 (total wave), 빠른 파 및 느린 파의 음속 및 음압투과계수를 주파수 및 물과 공기 다공율 변화에 따라 측정하였다. 비강체 다공성 매질에서의 음파 전파특성에 대한 MBA (modified Biot-Attenborough) 모델의 이론 결과와 실험결과를 비교, 분석하였다.

  • The cellular neural networks have the circuit structure that differs from the form of general neural network. It consists of an array of the same cell which is a simple processing element, and each of the cells has local connectivity and space invariant template property. In this paper, time-multiplex image processing technique is applied for processing large images using small size CNN cell block, and we simulate the edge detection of a large image using the simulator implemented with a c program and matlab model. A 5$\times$5 CNN hardware and pre post processor is also implemented and is under test.

  • A combined experimental and numerical effort is presented for investigation of reflection of irregular waves due to rectangular submerged breakwaters. In the numerical model, the Reynolds equations are solved by a finite difference method and k-$\varepsilon$ model is employed for the turbulence analysis. To track the free surface displacement, the volume of fluid method is employed. Numerical predictions of transmission and reflection coefficients are verified by comparing to laboratory measurements. Very reasonable agreements are observed. The reflection coefficients become stronger in proportion to numbers of submerged breakwaters.

  • This paper on analysis of roundness error after boring turning of Al-6061 materials with CNC lathe. Experiment applying turning parameters is based on experimental design method. A design and analysis of experiments is conducted to study the effects of these parameters on the roundness error using the S/N ratio and analysis of ANOVA. Multiple linear regression analysis is applied to compare experimental with predicted data in consideration of roundness error. To fixation pressure and the opening which are a turning parameter, the cutting depth and feed speed respected the objective attainment of dissertation and to be applied the result they investigated.

  • 한국전력은 당진화력발전소로부터 신안성 변전소까지의 세계 최초로 수직배열 2회선의 765kV 송전선로를 건설하여 2002년 4월부터 1회선을 765kV로 가압하고 1회선은 345kV로 상업운전을 시작하였으며 2003년 이후 2회선을 모두 765kV 전압으로 가압 예정이다. 이러한 765kV 송전선로는 계통운영 측면에서 2회선 동시 휴전이 어려워 1회선 휴전 작업 및 향후 활선작업이 요구되는 중요선로이다. 765kV 1회선 휴전작업을 위해서는 765kV로 가압된 선로로부터 휴전선로의 작업자에게 발생될 수 있는 전기적 유도량에 대해 사전 검토하여 안전성을 확보하는 것이 필수적이다. 한국전력공사와 전력연구원은 1회선 휴전작업에 대한 안정성 검토를 위해 고창 실증시험선로를 이용하여 전기적 유도현상에 대한 시험을 실시하였다. 이 논문에서는 실증시험 선로를 모델로한 정전유도의 계산 결과와 실측치를 각각 비교, 검토하였다.

Application of SP monitoring to the analysis of anisotropy of aquifer (대수층 이방성 분석을 위한 자연전위 모니터링의 적용)

  • To analyze the anisotropic characteristics of fractured aquifer, variations of streaming potential were measured during and after pumping over several wells at the two test sites. Surface electrical resistivity survey, normal resistivity logging, and slug test were performed at the wells to identify the hydrogeological structure. Applying the results to the recently suggested model, the aquifer of the two test sites showed confined characteristics. Anisotropic direction appeared in using equi-potential maps from self-potential monitoring results matched well with the results of the hydrogeological test. The self-potential monitoring method adopted in this study would be useful for providing a more reliable information on the anisotropy of aquifer in the pumping test at single well.

  • The growth of GaN on the patterned substances has proven favorable to achieve thick, crack-free GaN layers. In this paper, numerical modeling of transport and reaction of species is performed to estimate the growth rate of GaN from tile reaction of TMG(trimethly-gallium) and ammonia. GaN growth rate was estimated through the model analysis including the effect of species velocity, thermal convection and chemical reaction, and thermal condition for the uniform deposition was to be presented. The effect of shape and construction of microscopic pattern was also investigated using a simulator to perform surface analysis, and a review was done on the quantitative thickness and shape in making GaN layer on the pattern. Quantitative analysis was especially performed about the shape of reactor geometry, periodicity of pattern and flow conditions which decisively affect the quality of crystal growth. It was found that the conformal deposition could be obtained with the inclination of trench ${\Theta}>125^{\circ}$. The aspect ratio was sensitive to the void formation inside trench and the void located deep in trench with increased aspect ratio.
