  • We usually applied PPP CHAP when the visited ISP subscriber accesses to authentication server in own home ISP network and IP Assignment for remote Internet service. But PPP CHAP doesn't support in case of visited ISP subscriber in GPRS network accesses to authentication sorrel in own home ISP network for wireless Internet service. We suggest solution for this problem with PPP CHAP improvement. For this we propose the modified PPP CHAP message format, PCO Message format at MT, and interworking message and format between GGSN and RADIUS in home ISP network for wireless internet service of mobile ISP subscriber at GPRS network in this paper. We also show authentication results when visited mobile ISP subscriber via PPP CHAP at GPRS network accesses the RADIUS server in home ISP network.

Study on development of the remote control door lock system including speeker verification function in real time (화자 인증 기능이 포함된 실시간 원격 도어락 제어 시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The paper attempts to design and implement the system which can remotely check visitors' speech or Image by a mobile phone. This system is designed to recognize who a visitor is through the automatic calling service, not through a short message, via the mobile phone, even when the home owner is outside. In general, door locks are controlled through the home Server, but it is more effective to control door locks by using DTMF signal from a real-time point of view. The technology suggested in this paper makes it possible to communicate between the visiter and the home owner by making a phone call to tile home owner's mobile phone automatically when the visiter visits the house even if the home owner is outside, and if necessary, it allows for the home owner to control the door lock remotely. Thanks to the system, the home owner is not restricted by time or space for checking the visitor's identification and controlling the door lock. In addition, the security system is improved by changing from the existing password form to the combination of password and speaker verification lot the verification procedure required for controlling the door lock and setting the environment under consideration of any disadvantages which may occur when the mobile Phone is lost. Also, any existing problems such as reconnection to tile network for controlling tile door lock are solved by controlling the door lock in real time by use of DTMF signal while on the phone.

  • Authentication for inter-NEMO rooming is on important issue for achieving the seamless mobile networking. In this proposal, the technical challenge lies in the fact that a visited network does not initially have the authentication credentials of a roaming mobile router. This paper proposes an efficient approach for providing AAA service in NEMO environment. This approach uses localized authentication based on the roaming agreement between ISPs. A public key certificate structure is proposed, tailored to the business model of wireless internet Service Providers (ISPs). In this approach, the mutual authentication between a visited network and a roaming user can be performed locally without any control with user's home network. In conclusion, our protocol shown that communication delay can be reduced by overuse 45% overhead in communication delay than the previous AAA approach.

  • Diameter-MIPV4 프로토콜은 기존 Mobile IP(MIP)의 취약한 키 분배 문제를 해결하고 이동노드에 대해 인증 및 권한 검증, 과금 서비스 등을 지원함으로써 보다 개선된 보안 메커니즘을 제안하고 있다. 그러나 흠 망의 Diameter 서버에 의해 인증 및 등록이 수행된 후 공중망을 통해서 이동노드에게 세션키를 분배하는 것은 많은 보안상 공격에 노출될 수 있으며 원격지 도메인간의 빈번한 등록 메시지 교환은 통신 지연을 야기 시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 안전한 세션키 분배를 위해서, 이동 노드의 등록 수행 과정 중 홈 망과 방문 망 사이에 IPsec(IP security) 터널을 구축함으로써 공중망에서의 세션키 유출 위협을 감소시켰다. 또한 네트워크의 계층성과 Micro-Mobility MIP 메커니즘을 이용하여 동일 도메인 내에서의 핸드오프 시 이동 노드의 인증 및 등록, 세션키 분배를 지역화 함으로써 통신 지연 문제를 효율적으로 개선하였다.

Performance Enhancement of AAA-based Authentication forHMIPv6 (AAA 기반의 인증을 이용한 HMIPv6 성능 개선 기법)

  • To reduce the amount of the signaling messages occurred in movement, HMIPv6 has been introduced as the hierarchical mobility management architecture tor MIPv6 by regarding the locality of movements. When approaching the visited link, the authentication procedure should be done successfully prior to any motility support message exchanges. The AAA(Authentication, Authorization and Account) authentication service is applied gradually to the wireless LAN and Cellular networks. However, It may bring about the service latency for the sessions of requiring the real-time processing due to not providing the optimized signaling in local and frequent movements. In this paper, we propose the authentication architecture with 'delegation' scheme to reduce the amount of signaling message and latency to resume for local movements by integrating it with HMIPv6 architecture. We provide the integrated authentication model and analyze the performance and effectivity of our proposal and finally offer the analysis materials comparing to the exiting authentication scheme. It cuts down the cost to $33.6\%$ at average measurement.

  • We implemented an application system which is able to verify visitor identification for remote bundle control based on OSGi and web camera control using embedded linux system. This system are designed open Oscar framework by porting java on the embedded linux system and implemented web camera system in local area networks. Also This system can verify information of visitor from receiving the data of RFID reader and designed the wireless internet system in home. Basically, in this paper we expect that home network system development and the period of application service development are reduced with integrated service provision based on OSGi.

Survey and Improvement Scheme for Safety Certification System of Temporary Equipment and Materials (가설기자재 관련 안전인증제도 실태조사 및 개선방안)

  • In this study, the systems and standards for temporary equipment and materials established in domestic and foreign countries are examined to provide improvement schemes and to insure their safety. Statistical analyses of the data obtained from the internet and/or field visit surveys of employees working in manufacturing, leasing, and construction companies related to temporary equipment and materials and improvement schemes were conducted to evaluate the implementation of a safety certification system for currently used temporary equipment and materials. This safety certification system has been enforced since 2009, but the number of accidents at construction sites, which are reported by the 'serious accident cases and measures in construction sites' group of the Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency (KOSHA), has increased. The respondents' answers regarding the suitability of the items, which are required for the safety certification of the equipment and materials, were 'yes (36%)', 'no (30%)', and 'unknown (35%)'. Less than half of the answers regarding the current system were positive and most of the respondents answered that the current system does not reflect the evolution of the construction environment. A system is needed to approve items certified in foreign countries and newly developed materials and items, in addition to the (automatic) registration for the reuse of temporary equipment and materials, and improvements are needed in their safety. In this study, after examining the size and practicability of the items requiring approval from the current system, the certification methods are reevaluated and improvement schemes are provided for the system.

Development of an Assistant Model for Child Care Accreditation (보육시설 평가인증 조력 현황분석 및 조력체계 개발)

  • This study has attempted to suggest an assistant model for systematic child care accreditation. This has been carried out from the current consciousness of such needs for child care accreditation as large regional disparity in assistant level, no indication to definite contents and method of assistance, demand for assistant professionals with intensified capacity and requirement for the support of financial and human resources. Six stages of assistant process: the stage of establishment and management of preparation class, the stage of application for assistance and consultation, the stage of assistant meeting, the stage of workshop and observation to exemplary institutions, and the stage of practical application and evaluation of visiting assistance have been suggested. Particularly in order to improve the efficiency of assistance, organization of a committee of expert advisors in each area has been indicated. For the guideline of assistant management, operation of preparation class for accreditation, security of assistant committee members, provision of systematic training and assistant manual, development of supervision program and financial support have been suggested. This assistant manual will contribute to systematic and efficient conduct of assistance program of child care accreditation.

국세전자신고제도의 현황과 활성화 방안 연구

  • 국세청에서 제공하는 홈택스서비스(Home Tax Service: HTS)는 최근의 정보기술(IT)발전과 인터넷 사용의 보편화에 따라 전자세정 기반 구축을 통해 납세자가 세무서를 방문하지 않고 집이나 사무실에서 모든 세금문제를 인터넷(www.hometax.go.kr)으로 편리하게 해결할 수 있는 종합세무행정 서비스이다. 홈택스가입자 현황을 보면 2002년 12월 60만명에서 2005년 12월말 현재 392만명으로 6.5배 증가하였으며, 2007년 2월 5일 500만명을 돌파하였다. 홈택스서비스는 전자신고 등 e-서비스 품질과 활성화 측면에서 세계적으로 앞서고 있고 최근 일본, 중국, 말레이시아, 베트남 등 다수 국가가 우리나라 홈택스에 대한 벤치마킹 의사를 표명한 바 있다. 국세전자신고제도의 활성화 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 납세서비스 패러다임의 선진화이다. 둘째, 다양한 서비스 제공으로 고객만족도를 제고하여야 한다. 셋째, 전자납부 이용자에 일정률의 세액감면 인센티브를 부여하여야 한다. 넷째, 납세자 지식정보화 교육을 강화하여야 한다. 전자신고는 납세자와 과세당국간 보다 편리하고 효율적인 세무환경을 마련하는 방향으로 전개되어야 한다. 기술적으로 신뢰성을 높이기 위하여는 web상에서 실체를 구별하는 식별(identification)력과 그 실체의 속성을 구별하는 인증(authentication)력을 확보하는 방향에서 접근되어야 할 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 공중 무선랜에서 AP의 중복 설치로 인해 과열 투자와 주파수 간섭 현상의 문제를 해결하기 위해 무선랜 사업자간(WISP, Wireless Internet Service Provider)의 로밍을 제공한 수 있는 메커니즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 메커니즘은 무선랜 사용자가 자신의 WISP가 아닌 다른 WISP의 AP에서 인터넷에 접속하려 학 때 EAP-TLS(Extended Authentication Protocol - Transport Layer Security)를 인증방법으로 사용하는 것을 전제한다. EAP-TLS를 사용하여 상호 인증과 키 분배를 할 때 필요되는 인증서를 방문한 WISP에게 임시 사용자 인증서를 발급받는 방법으로 로밍을 수행한다.
