  • This study aims to understand the current status of the use of IoT-based products and services from the perspective of consumers and analyze the role and consumption value of each service-generated from the products and services. Their features and generated consumption value have been identified The decision-making process was divided into based on three stages (pre-purchase, purchase, and post-purchase) stages, and IoT services were classified in stages. In the pre-purchase stage, the IoT service provides information and alternatives, and is used for interaction and automatic payment systems in the purchasing stage. In the post-purchase stage, repetitive purchases are encouraged and after-sale services are provided. Throughout the decision-making process, smart retai application and servicel provides epistemic and functional value. In addition, it provides conditional and social value in the pre-purchase stage, and conditional value in the post-purchase stage. This study aims to provideprovides marketers and retailers an insight advice for the enhanced satisfaction of consumersimproving the satisfaction of consumers and the development of smart retail by examining the consumer-centered consumption value.

  • The purpose of this study is to look into the consumers who show the consumption patterns of brand switching and repeated purchasing, find the decision factors of their brand switching and repeated purchasing, analyze the difference in marketing response variables being represented as corporate promotion activities in the brand switching and repeated purchasing process, and provide a suggestion to apply the result to marketing Therefore, it tries to help the firms, which develop push marketing as the result of excessive competition between distributors and sales competition focusing on external appearance, recognize consumers as individual substances; to propose proper efficient promotion activities; to let consumers increase loyalty to their trademark and continue to purchase their products repeatedly; and to induce competitor brand consumers to do brand switching. The results of this study are presented as follows: First, consumers who prefer events, price discount, samples, and product premium which means the products with brand or logo on them had the feature of repeated purchasing. Secondly, service benefit, point-type promotion, cost-saving satisfaction didn't affect brand switching, and only the consumers who prefer coupon-type promotion did brand switching. Thirdly, a distribution type produced the moderating effect between the repeated purchasing and coupon and coupon-type promotion, and between brand switching and service benefit.

  • 현재 4차 산업혁명이 사회에 던지는 화두는 다양하다. 첫째, 소프트웨어 중심 사회이다. 빅 데이터, 인공지능 기술 등이 다양한 분야와 결합하고 그 중심에는 소프트웨어가 있다. 앞으로 소프트웨어 교육이 필수적이고 강화되어야 할 이유다. 둘째, 생산과 소비가 결합된다는 것이다. 즉, 더 이상 소비자가 수동적인 소비자로만 남지 않으며, 획일화된 제품과 서비스에 흥미를 느끼지 않고, 소비자가 직접 자신이 구매할 제품 생산과 판매에 관여하는 '프로슈머(prosumer)' 필요한 물건을 직접 만드는 D.I.Y.(Do It Yourself), 3D 프린팅 등이 새로운 소비 방식을 대표한다[3]. 이에 메이커 운동이 떠오르고 있고, 메이커에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 우리나라는 2015 개정 교육과정을 통해 소프트웨어 교육을 강화했다. 초등학교에서는 5~6학년 실과 교과의 정보 관련 단원이 ICT활용 중심에서 소프트웨어 기초 소양 내용 중심으로 개편되었다[1]. 아직 교육과정이 시행되기 전이지만 선도학교나 연구학교를 통해 진행된 소프트웨어 교육을 보면 기능을 익히는 프로그래밍 교육이 주류를 이루고 있고, 이래서는 다양하고 창의적인 결과물을 도출할 수 없다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 디자인 사고를 도입할 수 있다. 디자인 사고는 인간을 관찰하고 공감하여 소비자를 이해한 뒤, 다양한 대안을 찾는 확산적 사고와 주어진 상황에 최선의 방법을 찾는 수렴적 사고의 반복을 통하여 혁신적 결과물을 도출하는 창의적 문제 해결 방법 중 하나이다[5]. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초등학생들의 소프트웨어 교육을 위한 디자인 사고 기반 메이커 교육 프로그램을 개발하고자 한다.

Design of a TIQ Based CMOS A/D Converter for Real Time DSP (실시간 디지털 신호처리를 위한 TIQ A/D 변환기 설계)

  • This paper presents a CMOS TIQ flash A/D converter which operates very fast compared to other types of A/D converters due to its parallel architecture. The output resolution of designed A/D converter is 6-bit. In order to reduce the power consumption and chip area of conventional flash A/D converter, TIQ based flash A/D converter is proposed, which uses the advantage of the structure of CMOS transistors. The length and width of transistors of TIQ were determined with HSPICE simulation. To speed up the ultra-high speed flash A/D converter, the Fat Tree Encoder technique is used. The TIQ A/D converter was designed with full custom method. The chip's maximum power consumption was 38.45mW at 1.8V, and the operating speed of simulation was 2.7 GSPS.

  • A 11b 100KS/s Algorithmic ADC for Digital PFC controller is proposed. The proposed Algorithmic ADC structure for 11bit resolution is based on a cyclic architecture to reduce chip area and power consumption. The prototype Algorithmic ADC implemented with a 0.18um 1Poly-3Metal CMOS process shows a SNDR 66.7dB and ENOB 10.78bits. And the current consumption is about 780uA at 100KS/s and 5V. The occupied active die area is $0.27mm^2$.

Ethanol Production with Glucose/Xylose Mixture by Immobilized Pichia stipitis (고정화 Pichia stipitis 를 이용한 글루코오스/자일로오스 혼합당으로부터 에탄올 생산)

  • To increase the production of ethanol by using sugar from lignocellulosic biomass, pentose and hexose have to be fermented simultaneously by yeast. The effects of mixed sugar and nitrogen on ethanol production by immobilized Pichia stipitis KCCM 12009 were investigated. When optimal mixed sugar and nitrogen concentration were 5% (Glucose/Xylose = 3:1) and 1%, respectively, ethanol concentration produced by immobilized P. stipitis was 19-20 g/L. In repeated fed-batch by immobilized P. stipitis, all glucose was consumed very quickly at 1-3% mixed sugar concentration. But, xylose consumption was decreased as the mixed sugar concentration increased. Also, ethanol (5.6 g/L) was stably produced and ethanol production rate was 0.13 g/$L{\cdot}h$ in immobilized cell reactor (ICR) with 1% mixed sugar (Glucose/Xylose = 3:1) as feeding media.

  • High performance is required with small size and low power in the mobile embedded system. A CORDIC algorithm can compute transcendental functions effectively with only small adders and shifters and is suitable one for the mobile embedded system. However CORDIC unit has performance degradation according due to iterative inter-rotations. Adder design is an important design unit to be optimized for a high performance and low power CORDIC unit. It is necessary to explore the design space of a CORDIC unit considering trade-offs of an adder unit while satisfying delay, area and power constraints. In this paper, we suggest a CORDIC architecture employing a heterogeneous adder and an optimization methodology for producing better optimal tradeoff points of CORDIC designs.

A Study on the Quality Improvment of PCB by Improving Power Consumption for Radar (레이더장비에 적용되는 통신 IC 소비전력 개선을 통한 회로카드조립체 품질 향상에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined the quality improvement of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in relation to the power consumption for radar. The radar examined is currently in production and being used by the military. The PCB converts 28 V DC to 5 V DC but frequently malfunctions. Therefore, cause analysis was carried out. As a result, the power consumed by a certain communication IC was very high, and the heat generated by the high power consumption caused damage to the surrounding parts. Accordingly, it was changed to an improved communication IC that meets all the radar system specifications. System tests were carried out for the changed communication IC to check the impact on the system, and environmental tests were performed, which proved that the performance required by the radar system is satisfactory. As a result of this improvement, there has been no history of failure in this PCB so far. Therefore, the quality of this PCB has been improved.

Effects of Water Temperature and Photoperiod on the Oxygen Consumption Rate of Juvenile Dark-banded Rockfish, Sebastes inermis (수온과 광주기에 따른 볼락, Sebastes inermis 치어의 산소 소비율)

  • An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of four water temperatures (10, 15, 20, and $25^{\circ}C$) in combination with three photoperiods (24L:0D, 12L: 12D, and OL:24D) on the oxygen consumption rate of juvenile dark-banded rockfish, Sebastes inermis (mean body weight $20.5{\pm}0.7g$). The oxygen consumption rates of S. inermis were measured in triplicate for 24 hours using a continuous flow-through respirometer. Different combinations of water temperatures and photoperiods resulted in significant differences in the mean oxygen consumption rate of S. inermis (P<0.001). The oxygen consumption increased with increasing water temperatures for all photoperiod treatments (P<0.01). Mean oxygen consumption rates at 10, 15,20 and $25^{\circ}C$ ranged $178.3\sim283.5,\;386.7\sim530.7,\;529.2\sim754.3$ and $590.0\sim785.5mg\;O_2kg^{-1}h^{-1}$, respectively. $Q_{10}$ values ranged $3.17\sim5.51$ between 10 and $15^{\circ}C,\;1.87\sim2.10$ between 15 and $20^{\circ}C$ and $1.08\siml.24$ between 20 and $25^{\circ}C$, respectively. Fish held in continuous darkness (OL:24D) used consistently less okygen than fish exposed to continuous light (P<0.05). The mean oxygen consumption offish in a 12L:12D photoperiod was higher than that offish in 24L:0D and 0L:24D photoperiods under all temperature treatments except $10^{\circ}C$. The oxygen consumption of fish exposed to the 12L:12D photoperiod was significantly higher during the light phase than during the dark phase under all temperature treatments except $10^{\circ}C\;(P<0.05)$. This study provides empirical data for estimating oxygen consumption of S. inermis under given condition. This result has application for culture management and bioenergetic model for growth of this species.

  • 문화산업 내 연예매니지먼트 산업은 콘텐츠의 활용 가능성이 매우 높은 고부가가치 산업으로 대중문화 및 미디어의 시대가 도래 하면서 나타난 주요한 현상 중 하나로 스타를 들 수 있다. 스타는 대중 매체에 반복적으로 등장하면서 수많은 수용자가 미디어를 소비하며 발생한 21세기의 중심적인 문화현상으로 문화 상품으로의 스타, 스타와 팬덤의 소통현상, 이러한 현상은 연예매니지먼트사의 스타의 콘텐츠화로 이어지고 있으며 다양한 마케팅으로 이익을 창출하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 마케팅이 아직까지 급변하는 기술 및 미디어의 발전에 발맞추어 나가지 못하고 있는 실정으로 앞으로의 스타콘텐츠 마케팅은 어떤 정보전달 매개체보다 강력한 수단인 휴대전화, 즉 스마트폰의 떠오르는 고부가가치 산업인 애플리케이션을 활용하여야 할 것이다. 이러한 측면에서 애플리케이션을 활용한 마케팅이 미치는 영향을 사례로 연예매니지먼트 산업의 스타콘텐츠 마케팅의 방향이 애플리케이션을 활용한다면 더욱 효과를 이룰 것이다.
