  • The serviceability evaluation methods regarding floor vibration can be found in foreign building codes or design guides for vibration. AISC, AIJ, CEN, CSA and ISO are sucn examples. However, because the those guides are based on each country's experimental results, there will be different evaluation results for the same conditions. Meanwhile, in korea, we have little research results that suits for our condition, and we continue to use those foreing guides. In this paper, 20 flat plate slabs were carried out to investigate the accuracy of existing frequency formulas.

  • When constructing highly precise production plants, for example, super LSI plants or semiconductor plants, it is important to take the necessary control countermeasures into consideration to obtain the working microvibration environment, which is directly related to product precision. Working environment of a clean room means vibration-free and there are only ultra-miro vibration which human cannot sense. In order to provide an place having a vibration-free working environment with only ultra-micro vibration it is necessary to posses a great number of vibration isolation technlogies, wide-ranging and abundant survey and teat data, and a high level of knowledge enabling comprehensive judgments to be made. In this study, experimental modal analysis is used to analyze the dynamic characteristics of double floor for vibration-proofing near apparatus which generate vibration. It is concluded that the double floor system with rubber pad inserted between floor panel and pedestal is good for vibration proof.

Vibration and noise control of slab using the multi-tuned mass damper (다중질량감쇠기를 이용한 슬래브의 진동 및 소음저감에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, it is outlined that heavy weight floor impact noise induced by the vibration of slab can be reduced by multi tuned mass damper(MTMD) effectively. Substructure synthesis is utilized to develope analytical model of slab coupled with MTMD and acoustic power is introduced to evaluate the performance of noise control for simplicity. Numerical analysis is carried out to investigate the effect of the properties of MTMD on the vibration and noise control. Numerical analysis shows that mass ratio of MTMD is critical on the vibration and noise control of the slab and it is essential to reduce the vibration in higher modes of slab because it has a great effect on the radiation of sound.

  • The floor structure of railway vehicles consists of plywood, rubber, and wood keystone plate which affects on the comfort of passengers. Its structural characteristics has been investigated experimentally and numerically for samples of beam and plate structure, and the real floor structure in this paper. The material properties of etch part measured directly by experiments. The deformation and stress distribution of the sample beams for 6 different joints were sought experimentally and calculated using a commercial software. The numerical calculation shows that the effect of friction and clearance between joints is crucial. The DMU/EMU plates were also experimented and compared for different loading conditions. The structural characteristics of the whole floor structure were calculated numerically. The results show that the method of joint between plywoods is an important factor to decide the strength of the floor structure of railway vehicles.

Improvement of Fire Resistance and Impact Sound Insulation Performance for Timber Framed Floor by Installation of Isolated Ceiling (분리된 천정의 설치를 통한 목구조 바닥의 내화성능 및 충격음 차단성능 향상)

  • Fire resistance and impact sound insulation tests were performed for a floor assembly, of which stiffness was reinforced by shortening the span of floor joists by installing glulam beam additionally in the middle or one thirds of the original span, and which an additional ceiling component was installed apart from floor structure. By applying the isolated ceiling, timber framed floor showed 1 hour of fire resistance even in case that dead load was increased by considering cement mortar layer for radiant floor heating. Insulation performance against light and heavy impact sound was improved significantly by applying the sound absorbing layer of big mass and high elasticity in addition to the stiffness improvement and isolated ceiling.

  • In this paper, floor impact noise reduction in a cruise ship cabin by using floating floor is studied. A mock-up is built by using 61 steel plate, and two identical cabins are made where 25t panel is used to construct wall and ceiling inside the steel structure. Various floating floor systems are tested for which normalized impact noise is measured according to ISO 140-7 It is shown that effect of VL(Visco-elastic Layer) is negligible when it is used between deck and mineral wool, since most vibration absorption occurs in the wool. In addition, direction of the mineral wool fiber affects impact noise significantly.

  • This study was performed to develop the lightweight polymer concrete using expanded clay and perlite to improve workability, durability and chemical resistance for bottom draining structure under severe condition. This paper was composed of two parts. One is to invest the physical and mechanical properties of lightweight polymer concrete using synthetic lightweight aggregate, the other is to the develop products for bottom draining structure. Physical and mechanical test for lightweight polymer concrete was performed unit weight, compressive and flexural strength, chemical resistance, accelerated weathering test, absorption ratio and optimum mix for lightweight polymer concrete was designed. Also, products for bottom draining structures by optimum mix of lightweight polymer concrete was made draining trench of small size.

  • This paper presents a experimental structural performance of steel-concrete hybrid bridge deck, which has studs to connect steel plate and concrete and T beam to improve structural performance, by steel plate shape, studs and load location. It proved that steel-concrete hybrid deck has a high structural performance and lightweight due to the efficient use of steel plate as a structural member, which has only used as formwork. In failure mode, few specimen failed at punching shear and many specimen at concrete crushing, therefore proved it has sufficient stability to punching shear which is the most frequent damage of bridge deck. Steel-concrete hybrid deck of plane steel plate has a high structural performance, and that of corrugated steel plate has a high reduction of weight.

  • 일반적으로 식생흐름의 층 적분 모형은 층의 수에 따라 2층 및 3층 모형으로 구분한다. 즉, 전체 수심을 식생영역과 상부영역으로 구분하는 2층 모형과 식생영역을 바닥 조도의 영향 유무에 따라 내부 및 외부 식생영역으로 구분하는 3층 모형으로 나뉜다. 본 연구에 사용된 수리실험 자료는 기존의 연세대학교에서 수행한 실험결과를 이용하여 각 모형의 정확성을 예측해 보았다. 다양한 실험조건에 적용한 결과, 3층 모형이 식생영역에서 유속의 변화를 고려할 수 있지만 레이놀즈응력의 영향에 민감하고, 적분된 유속은 2층 모형에 의한 예측 결과가 더욱 정확하였다. 3층 모형에서는 내부 식생영역의 결과는 전체흐름구조에 미미한 영향을 미치므로 무시할 수 있으며, 이를 바탕으로 식생영역에서 유속 변화가 고려되는 수정 2층 모형을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 기존의 2층 모형과 3층 모형의 장점을 취합하여 수정된 2층 모형의 방정식을 바탕으로 모형의 정확성을 평가하기 위하여 2층 모형, 3층 모형, 수정 2층 모형의 유속 분포를 비교 분석하여 모형을 검증하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 철골모멘트골조의 패널존변형을 명시적으로 고려한 탄성층 간변위의 근사해석 방법을 제안하였다. 본 방법은 고전적 포탈법의 가정 및 D 치법에 기반한 해석적 접근법이다. 즉 포탈법의 가정에 따라 횡력을 받는 골조를 보-기둥 부분 골조로 분해한 후 대표적 내부 부분골조의 보, 기둥 및 패널존에서 기인하는 모든 횡변위 성분을 해석적으로 계산한다. 이때에 필요한 모든 내력(가령 패널존 전단변형 산정을 위한 보의 불균형모멘트)의 결정에 D 치법을 이용한다. 구조바닥의 강막작용을 고려하면 위의 과정을 통하여 산출된 대표적 내부 부분골조의 횡변위는 전체 골조의 횡변위와 거의 동일할 것으로 기대할 수 있다. 본 방법의 타당성 여부는 반강절 접합요소를 사용한 해석적 엄밀해와 비교하여 검증하였으며 만족스런 결과를 주는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 방법에 의해 컴퓨터해석에 의하지 않고도 철골모멘트골조의 탄성층간변위를 실용성있는 정확도로서 신속하게 산정할 수 있으므로 본 연구의 결과는 예비적 횡강성 평가에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 또한 본 방법의 적용과정에서 해석자는 철골모멘트골조의 횡변위 기동에 관한 물리적 감각을 증진시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
