In recently, thanks to the development of computer and internet, and reinforcement of digital media literacy of ordinary people, many users of comics and animations recombine contents into various ways, including UCCs. In a glance, it seems these outputs violates the copyrights of contents. But in reality, they helps the growth of the ecosystem of contents market, with increase of contents users. The reason of these reproductions inclines the characteristics of animation media. Animation, which are constituted by plastic symbols, auditory symbols, and narrative symbols, and Comic, which supports stories of Animations, affects as 'Imaginary signifier'. These signifiers helps users of contents to dismantle and reassemble stories. These aspects are seen in doujin culture, animation soundtrack fandom, and voice actor fandom. But In this article, we will concentrate into cosplay culture. Cosplay culture shows more active appearances than another fandoms. In especially, cosplay stage and daily cafe show more active reproductions of characters and communications. However, they are done by youth fans, which has not enough financial abilities: therefore, events are not sustainable and discontinued. And they have another limits, like lack of opportunity of performance. In the reality of Korean society, which needs of community making by community member, and hybrid culture, comics and animation productions in Korea are in need of access positively and encourage reproductions of active receivers of animations.
Some artists and scientists in physics and animation originating from research on its form of expression thanks to the rapid development of the example in the late 20th century image production technology integrating existing media feature, perform a re-creation and pop culture content has been recognized as a key factor. animation of the modern emphasis is also commercial and artistic activities as show whether the artist can not be excluded that also target audience. The audience does not want only to receive offers simply 'seeing' and 'hearing' in the animation requires a more indirect mental met. the other side, the director should lead the audience to immerse myself in work as intended mystification induce the world. where a conflict occurs between the audience and the director and The director needs to have its troubleshooting point to 'Technology of the communication'. Which is reduced to 'How will tell,' is technology communication technologies that are abbreviated representations of animation director is accessible to the audience and it is a close relationship between the psychological aspect of audience. Because, the audience is reproduced in a limited space, but he called on the board of directors and the same time the screen, the audience located at reception and the director located at provide. It is given. led force is given to the director. for this reason, The director needs to pay attention to the psychological aspect of audience this can be explained based on psychoanalytic theory. In this paper, "How can you lie to the audience and the director is the same line?" put down logic that is the animation audience under the logic that takes place visually capture phenomenon "selective attention" and sub-concept of "goal-directed selection' and 'stimulus-driven capturel' for theory of psychology. also, Induction device to elicit selective attention of the audience accordingly, let's consider whether and how they apply in animation.
Complementary color filter array (CCFA) is widely used in consumer-level digital video cameras, since it not only has high sensitivity and good signal-to-noise ratio in low-light condition but also is compatible with the interlaced scanning used in broadcast systems. However, the full-color images obtained from CCFA suffer from the color artifacts such as false color and zipper effects. These artifacts can be removed with edge-adaptive demosaicking (ECD) approaches which are generally used in rrimary color filter array (PCFA). Unfortunately, the unique array pattern of CCFA makes it difficult that CCFA adopts ECD approaches. Therefore, to apply ECD approaches suitable for CCFA to demosaicking is one of the major issues to reconstruct the full-color images. In this paper, we propose a new ECD algorithm for CCFA. To estimate an edge direction precisely and enhance the quality of the reconstructed image, a function of spatial variances is used as a weight, and new color conversion matrices are presented for considering various edge directions. Experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional method with respect to both objective and subjective criteria.
Increasing amount of digital images requires more accurate and faster way of image retrieval. So far, image retrieval method includes content-based retrieval and keyword based retrieval, the former utilizing visual features such as color and brightness and the latter utilizing keywords which describe the image. However, the effectiveness of these methods as to providing the exact images the user wanted has been under question. Hence, many researchers have been working on relevance feedback, a process in which responses from the user are given as a feedback during the retrieval session in order to define user’s need and provide improved result. Yet, the methods which have employed relevance feedback also have drawbacks since several feedbacks are necessary to have appropriate result and the feedback information can not be reused. In this paper, a novel retrieval model has been proposed which annotates an image with a keyword and modifies the confidence level of the keyword in response to the user’s feedback. In the proposed model, not only the images which have received positive feedback but also the other images with the visual features similar to the features used to distinguish the positive image are subjected to confidence modification. This enables modifying large amount of images with only a few feedbacks ultimately leading to faster and more accurate retrieval result. An experiment has been performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and the result has demonstrated rapid increase in recall and precision while receiving the same number of feedbacks.

In this paper, we propose a method for control of temperature and the direction of wind in an air-cooler using thermal images and fuzzy inference rules in order to achieve energy saving. In a simulation for controlling temperature, a thermal image is transformed to a color distribution image of $300{\times}400$ size to analyze the thermal image. A color distribution image is composed of R, G and B values haying temperature values of Red, Magenta, Yellow, Green, Cyan and Blue. Each color has a temperature value from $24.0^{\circ}C$ to $27.0^{\circ}C$ and a color distribution image is classified into height hierarchies from level 1 to level 10. The classified hierarchies have their peculiar color distributions and temperature values are assigned to each level by temperature values of the peculiar colors. The process for controlling overall balance of temperature and the direction of wind in an indoor space is as follows. Fuzzy membership functions are designed by the direction of wind, duration time, and temperature and height values of a color distribution image to calculate the strength of wind. After then, the strength of wind is calculated by membership values of membership functions.
Conformal coating is a technology that protects PCB(Printed Circuit Board) and minimizes PCB failures. Since the defects in the coating are linked to failure of the PCB, the coating surface is examined for air bubbles to satisfy the successful conditions of the conformal coating. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for detecting problematic bubbles in high-risk groups by applying image signal processing. The algorithm consists of finding candidates for problematic bubbles and verifying candidates. Bubbles do not appear in visible light images, but can be visually distinguished from UV(Ultra Violet) light sources. In particular the center of the problematic bubble is dark in brightness and the border is high in brightness. In the paper, these brightness characteristics are called valley and mountain features, and the areas where both characteristics appear at the same time are candidates for problematic bubbles. However, it is necessary to verify candidates because there may be candidates who are not bubbles. In the candidate verification phase, we used convolutional neural network models, and ResNet performed best compared to other models. The algorithms presented in this paper showed the performance of precision 0.805, recall 0.763, and f1-score 0.767, and these results show sufficient potential for bubble test automation.

Cognitive science attempts to explain human intelligence on the basis of success of artificial neural network, which is called connectionism. The neural network, e.g., deep learning, seemingly promises connectionism to go beyond what it is. But those(Fodor & Pylyshyn, Fodor, & McLaughlin) who advocate classical computationalism, or symbolism claim that connectionism must fail since it cannot represent the relation between human thoughts and human language. The neural network lacks systematicity, so any output of neural network is at best association or accidental combination of data plugged in input units. In this paper, I first introduce structure of artificial neural network and what connectionism amounts to. Second, I shed light on the problem of systematicity the classical computationalists pose for the connectionists. Third, I briefly introduce how those who advocate connectionism respond to the criticism while noticing Smolensky's theory of vector product. Finally, I examine the debate of computationalism and connectionism on systematicity, and show how the problem of systematicity contributes to the development of connectionism and computationalism both.
Conventional image quality studies have been focused on 'naturalness' and has relied on memory color. Memory colors are mainly formed for familiar objects with prior experience, and the more faithfully these memories are reflected, the more naturalness of the reproduced image quality increases. In particular, the brightness and saturation of memory colors play an important role in increasing the preference of image quality as well as naturalness. Therefore, in the case of existing image quality studies, image quality characteristics were studied focusing on natural objects and people with memory. We extracted representative images of each genre (sports, documentaries, news, entertainment and music, and movies), adjusted the brightness, contrast, and saturation of each image, and conducted an experiment to evaluate perceived quality. Based on situational context, the results of this classification indicated that genres of television content can be divided into two categories: proximate and indirect experiences. Proximate experience best characterizes outdoor sports, dramas, and nature documentaries, where their image qualities have shown to have a strong correlation with brightness and contrast. On the other hand, indirect experience best characterizes news, music shows and SF/action movies. The image quality perception for indirect experiences was shown to be closely related to and optimized by contrast and saturation.
In this paper, we propose an unmanned vehicle scratch detection deep learning model for car sharing services. Conventional scratch detection models consist of two steps: 1) a deep learning module for scratch detection of images before and after rental, 2) a manual matching process for finding newly generated scratches. In order to build a fully automatic scratch detection model, we propose a one-step unmanned scratch detection deep learning model. The proposed model is implemented by applying transfer learning and fine-tuning to the deep learning model that detects changes in satellite images. In the proposed car sharing service, specular reflection greatly affects the scratch detection performance since the brightness of the gloss-treated automobile surface is anisotropic and a non-expert user takes a picture with a general camera. In order to reduce detection errors caused by specular reflected light, we propose a preprocessing process for removing specular reflection components. For data taken by mobile phone cameras, the proposed system can provide high matching performance subjectively and objectively. The scores for change detection metrics such as precision, recall, F1, and kappa are 67.90%, 74.56%, 71.08%, and 70.18%, respectively.
Focusing on the concept of "narrative of desire" advocated by Peter Brooks, this paper aims to analyze the construction and presentation of the body narrative in I Am What I Am, combined with the "body situation" concept of Merleau-Ponty, the pioneer of body studies. This paper first analyzes the changes in the characters' physical and mental cognition in the film through the "desire narrative" and "visual body" proposed by body narratologist Peter Brooks. Secondly, this paper summarizes the physical and mental evolution of the coward-rebel-disciple-self-breaker experienced by the teenager, and analyzes the continuous plot composed of the body in time and space through the physical situation formed by time and space, that is, the visual presentation of the juvenile's personal body picture. So the protagonist's physical desire and visual body in "I Am What I Am" are the meta-driving forces of the narrative. The film presents the subject's physical desire in a visual way, and reproduces the deduction process of the body narrative through the body situation.shift from the common surreal, magical special effects, exaggeration, deformation and other techniques of commercial animations such as "Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child" (2019) and "Legend of Deification" (2020) to the true-life "I am What I am". "(2021), "To the Bright Side" (2022) and other visual experiences of the same kind marks breakthroughs made by Chinese animation and is of practical significance.
