  • 본 연구는 컴퓨터 문헌 분석 방법을 활용하여 <적벽가> 이본의 계통을 분류하고 기존 이본 연구를 검토한 것이다. <적벽가> 이본의 공통 서사단위는 5개의 계층으로 파악되며, 146개의 개별단락을 산출해낼 수 있다. 이를 통해 군집 분석 방법과 계통의 분기 분석 방법을 적용할 수 있으며, 작품의 계통과 이본간의 거리를 시각적으로 파악할 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 예비 연구(Pilot Test)로써, 엘프레드 채트먼(Elfred Chatman)으로 대표되는 정보 빈곤 이론을 바탕으로 재한유학생의 일반적인 정보 요구가 무엇이며 스스로를 정보 빈곤층으로 인식하는지, 어떠한 정보 빈곤 양상을 경험하는지에 대한 본격적인 연구를 수행함에 앞서 현 시점에서 설정한 이론적 배경의 적용 가능성을 검토하고 보완이 필요한 사항을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 재한 중국인 유학생 J, K, Y를 대상으로 심층 면담을 수행하여 결과를 분석하였다.

Effects of Intervention for Health Promotion of Foreign Workers: A Systematic Review (외국인 근로자의 건강증진을 위한 프로그램의 효과 : 체계적 문헌고찰)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects and characteristics of program on health promotion with foreign worker in Korea. The study was conducted using the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) Group. The final selected literature was varied in program and outcome variables. Therefore, it was difficult to quantitatively synthesize and it was analyzed through qualitative review. The findings indicate that health promotion programs for foreign workers reduced acculturation stress, depression and anxiety, and increased self-esteem. These findings provide scientific evidence for developing and using health promotion program of foreign workers. Futher development of a variety of health promotion programs and studies of effectiveness review for foreign workers in Korea.

  • The value of the library has always been recognized positively. Economic valuation of libraries and their services uses a concrete methodology that enables the quantification of library value and communication of said value among library stakeholders. This paper presents a comprehensive review of literature on economic valuation of the library based on a total of 89 studies conducted over the last quarter-century. Research on library valuation began in the mid-1990's with the formal exploration of the value of public libraries from a theoretical point of view. In the 2000's, various theories and methodologies were reviewed and put into actual measurement studies. The comprehensive review and analysis point to the need for the development of consistent and reliable set of methods, which will facilitate further application of methods and comparison of results.

A Preliminary Study on the Adoption of Structured Abstracts by Korean Library and Information Science Journals (국내 문헌정보학 분야 학술지에 구조적 초록을 도입하기 위한 예비 연구)

  • This paper is a preliminary study to consider the introduction of structured abstracts to Korean journals in the field of library and information science (LIS). To achieve this, we first identified examples of overseas LIS journals that have adopted structured abstracts, and analyzed the occurrence statistics of each section of structured abstracts for four journals published by Emerald Publishing that emphasize the value of research and practical/social implications sections. Considering the inherent drawback of longer abstracts, we examined the abstract policies and the abstract lengths of recently published articles of four Korean LIS journals. Additionally, we identified some cases where essential elements were missing from the Korean abstracts. Finally, a proposal for the adoption of structured abstracts for Korean LIS journals was presented, focusing on the length of abstracts and the organization of sections. It is expected that the adoption of the proposed structured abstract format will facilitate the utilization of Korean LIS research in the library and information management practice.

An Experimental Study on Feature Ranking Schemes for Text Classification (텍스트 분류를 위한 자질 순위화 기법에 관한 연구)

  • This study specifically reviewed the performance of the ranking schemes as an efficient feature selection method for text classification. Until now, feature ranking schemes are mostly based on document frequency, and relatively few cases have used the term frequency. Therefore, the performance of single ranking metrics using term frequency and document frequency individually was examined as a feature selection method for text classification, and then the performance of combination ranking schemes using both was reviewed. Specifically, a classification experiment was conducted in an environment using two data sets (Reuters-21578, 20NG) and five classifiers (SVM, NB, ROC, TRA, RNN), and to secure the reliability of the results, 5-Fold cross-validation and t-test were applied. As a result, as a single ranking scheme, the document frequency-based single ranking metric (chi) showed good performance overall. In addition, it was found that there was no significant difference between the highest-performance single ranking and the combination ranking schemes. Therefore, in an environment where sufficient learning documents can be secured in text classification, it is more efficient to use a single ranking metric (chi) based on document frequency as a feature selection method.

Utilizing Unlabeled Documents in Automatic Classification with Inter-document Similarities (문헌간 유사도를 이용한 자동분류에서 미분류 문헌의 활용에 관한 연구)

  • This paper studies the problem of classifying documents with labeled and unlabeled learning data, especially with regards to using document similarity features. The problem of using unlabeled data is practically important because in many information systems obtaining training labels is expensive, while large quantities of unlabeled documents are readily available. There are two steps In general semi-supervised learning algorithm. First, it trains a classifier using the available labeled documents, and classifies the unlabeled documents. Then, it trains a new classifier using all the training documents which were labeled either manually or automatically. We suggested two types of semi-supervised learning algorithm with regards to using document similarity features. The one is one step semi-supervised learning which is using unlabeled documents only to generate document similarity features. And the other is two step semi-supervised learning which is using unlabeled documents as learning examples as well as similarity features. Experimental results, obtained using support vector machines and naive Bayes classifier, show that we can get improved performance with small labeled and large unlabeled documents then the performance of supervised learning which uses labeled-only data. When considering the efficiency of a classifier system, the one step semi-supervised learning algorithm which is suggested in this study could be a good solution for improving classification performance with unlabeled documents.

Trends in the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Image Analysis (의료영상 분석에서 인공지능 이용 동향)

  • In this paper, the artificial intelligence (AI) technology used in the medical image analysis field was analyzed through a literature review. Literature searches were conducted on PubMed, ResearchGate, Google and Cochrane Review using the key word. Through literature search, 114 abstracts were searched, and 98 abstracts were reviewed, excluding 16 duplicates. In the reviewed literature, AI is applied in classification, localization, disease detection, disease segmentation, and fit degree of registration images. In machine learning (ML), prior feature extraction and inputting the extracted feature values into the neural network have disappeared. Instead, it appears that the neural network is changing to a deep learning (DL) method with multiple hidden layers. The reason is thought to be that feature extraction is processed in the DL process due to the increase in the amount of memory of the computer, the improvement of the calculation speed, and the construction of big data. In order to apply the analysis of medical images using AI to medical care, the role of physicians is important. Physicians must be able to interpret and analyze the predictions of AI algorithms. Additional medical education and professional development for existing physicians is needed to understand AI. Also, it seems that a revised curriculum for learners in medical school is needed.

A Study on the Classification of Jeokbyeok-ga's Version by the Computer Analysis Technique of Bibliographies (컴퓨터 문헌 분석 기법을 활용한 <적벽가> 이본의 계통 분류 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the system of the Jeokbyeok-ga's version using the Computer analysis technique of bibliographies and to examine the achievements of the Jeokbyeok-ga's version studies. First, in order to provide basic data for analysis, a raw corpus was constructed for 46 species of Jeokbyeok-ga. Through this, the common narrative units of the Jeokbyeok-ga were identified as 5 layers, and thus 146 individual paragraphs could be extracted. Based on the encoded corpus, we tried to measure the similarity and the distance between the two. Next, we applied the Multidimensional scaling method, Hierarchical cluster analysis and Cladistic analysis method of the system to confirm the distribution of versions group and it was possible to visually grasp the distance between versions and the system of the work. As a result of analyzing Computer analysis technique of bibliographies, it was found that version's group of the Jeokbyeok-ga was divided into a Wanpan(完板) series and Changbon(唱本) series. Also, it was possible to examine the influence relationship between the Pansori's traditions and transmission.

A Study on Data Literacy Competency Building Measures: Focusing on Research Data Management Education (데이터 리터러시 역량 강화 방안에 관한 연구 - 연구데이터 관리 교육을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to present a guide for the development of research data management education programs for researchers affiliated with domestic universities and research institutions. In order to present the relevant program guide, first, we investigated and analyzed educational programs for overseas research data management. The educational programs studied and analyzed are RDMRose, RDMLA, DataONE, Digital Research Alliance of Canada, NNLM, PARTHENOS and Coursera. In addition, in order to confirm the appropriateness of the education program, it was reviewed through the detailed competency of data literacy researched in Korea. As a result of the review, most of the detailed competencies for data literacy were satisfied. Finally, a program guide for researchers was presented by synthesizing the research data management education programs that were investigated and analyzed. The results of this study will help develop research data management education programs that can systematically support and activate researchers belonging to universities and institutions.
