Encoding and language detection of text document using Deep learning algorithm (딥러닝 알고리즘을 이용한 문서의 인코딩 및 언어 판별)

  • Character encoding is the method used to represent characters or symbols on a computer, and there are many encoding detection software tools. For the widely used encoding detection software"uchardet", the accuracy of encoding detection of unmodified normal text document is 91.39%, but the accuracy of language detection is only 32.09%. Also, if a text document is encrypted by substitution, the accuracy of encoding detection is 3.55% and the accuracy of language detection is 0.06%. Therefore, in this paper, we propose encoding and language detection of text document using the deep learning algorithm called LSTM(Long Short-Term Memory). The results of LSTM are better than encoding detection software"uchardet". The accuracy of encoding detection of normal text document using the LSTM is 99.89% and the accuracy of language detection is 99.92%. Also, if a text document is encrypted by substitution, the accuracy of encoding detection is 99.26%, the accuracy of language detection is 99.77%.

  • Due to the explosive growth of the internet, terminology like "information society" and "virtual space" is frequently used, but often in a confusing manner. Some Social theorists and many people are fascinated by "information" and "media" as key characteristics of the contemporary world and rely on the unproven opinion that "Knowledge is a source of value and information moves the world". In this regard, Boudllian defines contemporary culture as a culture of signs and insists that we are surrounded by signs and forms of meaning. There isn't anything behind the signs but signs only exsist, so we cannot escaped from its inauthenticity and consider it improper to insist on it. If people can understand that signs are just simulation of reality, that would be alright. But in fact anything cannot be alright.In this matter Boudllian's conclusion is that we produce images in bulk which are not worthy seeing. Today we reach the conclusion that most images are the letter(character) image itself which shows nothing special.Consequently, this kind of world is a postmodern-world that seems meaningless but has signs to experience and enjoy, many examples of which are shown in the media, such as the internet. We can get to the conclusion that the audience neither sees nor hears anything, but they just can experience many interesting things which characterize the present age. The purpose of this research is to help you to understand current design philosophy and the direction of media while considering both a positive social phenomenon about the new design paradigm of information and media, as well as critical thinking about it.

A Comparative Analysis of Economic Terms & Function Notations and Function Graphs in High School <Mathematics for Economics>, <Economics> Textbooks (고등학교 수학과 <경제 수학>, 사회과 <경제> 교과서에 나타난 경제 용어, 함수 기호 및 함수 그래프의 비교 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive implications for the development of the next curriculum and textbooks by comparing and analyzing the textbooks of the 2015 revised high school mathematics curriculum <Mathematics for Economics> and social studies curriculum <Economics>. In the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks, economic terms and function notations should be introduced. Additionally, the use of graphs for economic-related functions is different from the use of graphs in mathematics in the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks. For these reasons, the usage of economic terms, function notations, and function graphs covered in the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks were compared and analyzed with the usage in the <Economics> textbooks. In the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks, economic terms that are highly related to mathematics are defined and presented. Contrary to the conventions of mathematics and economics, the function notations in the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks were used inconsistently because uppercase and lowercase letters were mixed in the function notations. Function graphs in the <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks had differences in the range of values represented by the variables regarding axes and scaling. The <Mathematics for Economics> textbooks did not provide a mathematical interpretation of the translation or slope. In the course of <Mathematics for Economics>, it is necessary to specify considerations for teaching and learning, and assessment in the curriculum to promote students' understanding of mathematics and economics. The descriptions in the curriculum document and textbooks of <Mathematics for Economics> should be supplemented to provide learning opportunities for mathematical interpretation of economics-related contents.

Discovery of Materials Using Rotatable Tangram to Develop Teaching and Learning Materials for the Gifted Class (초등학교 영재학급용 교수·학습 자료 개발을 위한 가변칠교판 활용 소재 발굴)

  • The purpose of this study is to find new material for developing teaching and learning materials for the gifted class of elementary school students by using the rotatable tangram made by modifying the traditional tangram. Rotatable tangram can be justified by gifted students through mathematical communication. However, even gifted class students have some limitations in finding and justifying triangles and rectangles of all sizes unless they go through the 'symbolization' stage at the elementary school level. Therefore, students who need an inquiry process for letters and symbols need to provide supplementary learning materials and additional questions. It is expected that the material of rotatable tangram for the development of teaching and learning materials for elementary school gifted students will contribute to the development of mathematical reasoning and mathematical communication ability.

  • A writer's text signals are converted into visual ones as a director exerts his fundamental capability to interpret and direct. On the other hand, his situational capability comes into play as the production environment changes. Such latest developments as the increasing popularity of production outsourcing, the sapped advertising market, and the growth in the number of the media channels and consequently heightened level of competition have led to changes in the way of advertising and production sponsorship. In turn, directors are faced with a new environment, where they are now required to pick up the role of an advertising director. Given that the production costs have been rising faster than the advertising revenue, such change in the director's situational capability seems to be part of the overall drama industry's evolution.

Video Index Generation and Search using Trie Structure (Trie 구조를 이용한 비디오 인덱스 생성 및 검색)

  • Similarity matching in video database is of growing importance in many new applications such as video clustering and digital video libraries. In order to provide efficient access to relevant data in large databases, there have been many research efforts in video indexing with diverse spatial and temporal features. however, most of the previous works relied on sequential matching methods or memory-based inverted file techniques, thus making them unsuitable for a large volume of video databases. In order to resolve this problem, this paper proposes an effective and scalable indexing technique using a trie, originally proposed for string matching, as an index structure. For building an index, we convert each frame into a symbol sequence using a window order heuristic and build a disk-resident trie from a set of symbol sequences. For query processing, we perform a depth-first search on the trie and execute a temporal segmentation. To verify the superiority of our approach, we perform several experiments with real and synthetic data sets. The results reveal that our approach consistently outperforms the sequential scan method, and the performance gain is maintained even with a large volume of video databases.

A Study on Genre Classification for Fictions in School Libraries (학교도서관을 위한 소설장서의 장르 분류 방안에 관한 연구)

  • It is necessary to find a genre classification by reflecting the needs of users since a subject that makes up the highest proportion of books in the school library is fictions in literature and KDC cannot accept user's need to access fiction in school libraries. This study suggested the genre classification for fictions in school libraries through surveying classification of fictions in domestic and foreign libraries, and comparing between classification systems of online/offline bookstores, KDC and DDC. For developing the genre classification system, it is to collect genre terms for fictions, to extract 14 genre headings among them, and to assign the acronym of English genre terms as classification notation. For applying the newly developed genre classification, KDC number of one middle school library was converted as the 3 methods such as combination of KDC, genre term before 800 and only genre terms. This study could contribute to suggest the genre classification of fiction to reflect user needs and to overcome the limitation of hierachical classification in KDC.

  • 슈퍼나 소매점등에서 판매되는 상품의 포장을 자세히 살펴보면 흑색과 백색의 줄무늬가 인쇄되어 있는 것을 볼수가 있다. 이것을 bar code라고 하는 데 국명, 메이커명, 상품명등을 수치화하여 하나의 코드로 만들고 그것을 독해하여 가격을 산출하고 정산업무를 신속하고 정확하게 처리하면서 자료를 모아 해석하여 재고 관리, 발주, 매입 업무를 합리화하고 이를 정보 네트워크에 의하여 수요에 대응한 판매를 전개하는 등 물자의 유통관리에 폭넓게 이용되고 있다. 즉 bar code system은 흑색 또는 백색의 굵은 bar와 가는 bar의 구성에 의하여 하나의 성질 (숫자, 기호, 알파벳 문자)을 나타내고 그 연속을 광학식 입력수단을 통하여 하나의 코드에 정리한 자동화된 데이터수집(Automated Data Collection)방법으로 활용되고 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 bar code의 동작, 구성, 인식장치의 원리와 활용사례를 기술하였다.

  • Visitors who browse the web from wireless PDAs, cell phones are frequently frustrated by interfaces. Simply replacing graphics with text and reformatting tables does not solve this problem, because deep link structures can still require more time. To solve this problem, in the paper we propose an algorithm, Minimal Path Algorithm that automatically improves wireless web navigation by suggesting useful shortcut links in real time. In the result of this paper, Minimal Path algorithm offer the shortcut and the number of shortest links to web users.

  • 오늘날 우리가 사용하는 한글은 24자로 구성되어있고, 한국어만을 적기 위한 문자체계이다. 그러나 훈민정음은 28자소로 구성되어 있으며 한국어 이외에도 세계 모든 언어와 소리를 적을 수 있는 소리기호 체계이다. 현재 한글은 인터넷이나 컴퓨터에서 사용이 어렵고, 자판 구도가 불합리하며, 남북 및 세계 표준이 아직 정해지지 않고 있으며 정열방식이 불일치하고, 내부 처리 코드가 상이한 문제점을 가지고 있다. 기존의 한글처리로는 부적합한 것들을 종합적으로 해결하기 위하여 새로운 방식을 모색 하고, 미래의 방향을 제시한 목적으로 정음부호(OPA : Ortho Phonic Alphabet)의 코드 제안에 따른 기존 KS C 5601과 KS C 5700과의 코드 변환시 문제점과 OPA 표준화를 위해 이 연구를 수행한다.
