Given the increasing importance of entrepreneurship in a nation's economic growth, this study empirically examined the effect of entrepreneurial behavior and environment on economic growth based on country level data. While previous studies have centered on entrepreneurship as a dominant variable that impacts economic growth, this study has extends the discussion by empirically testing the effects of two entrepreneurial variables, which are entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial environment, on economic growth. Furthermore, the study attempted to examine the moderating effects of trade and innovation on the relation between the independent variables and economic growth. According to the panel analysis using data from GEM and World Bank, both entrepreneurial behavior and environment affected national economic growth, completely or partly. Results showed that opportunity-driven entrepreneurial behavior has a significant effect on economic growth, suggesting that qualitative aspect of entrepreneurial activities are critical to economic growth. The results also indicated that both trade and innovation have significant moderating effects on the relationship between governmental support program and economic growth.

As the WTO·DDA continues to stagnate, mega FTAs such as the TPP will likely play the leading role in rule-making of trade for some time to come, creating a 'spaghetti bowl' of trade rules. FTAs, notably high-standard and broad-based regional or mega-FTAs, are the appropriate means to achieve this objective, because they cover many of the policy measures that are needed for the development of global value chains(GVC). The highest quality FTAs are increasingly adding new features like regulatory harmonization that may also foster GVC growth in partner countries. Complementary relationships among markets along value chains, involving both goods and services, also complicate analysis. This is particularly relevant when thinking about policy, since the traditional tendency to think about policies and regulate markets in unconnected silos can lead to unintended and undesirable results. This paper examines the current states of FTAs to determine which are more likely to push this latest wave of globalization further and faster, and explores the plans that are most helpful for GVC growth.

This study is following the study of "A Meta Analysis on International Trade Transportation and Logistics" published in Korea Trade Review(KTR) in 2014 and adding additional analysis for articles published in journals of international trade transportation and logistics. Studying issues of KTR are moving from transportation to logistics after 2014 and it is similar with the other international journals. The ratio of the thems of 'Economic, Policy, Regional, Technical, General Enterprise Management' in KTR is 36%, while 57.36% of IJLM and 61.88% of JBL. Main theme in the field of international transportation and logistics is Supply Chain Management(SCM). After the former study, in the viewpoint of research methods, quantitative researches are increased while their portion is still low compare to International Journal of Logistics Management(IJLM) and Journal of Business Logistics (JBL). Especially econometric research method is highly adopted in the international journals compare to KTR. Number of authors of KTR is less than IJLM and JBL, because the collaboration between researchers is needed when they publish articles in the international journals like IJLM and JBL.

In this paper we explore the two analyses to know the urbanization effect on trade. First, the granger causality test to examine the relationship between trade and urbanization. The Granger causality test is a statistical hypothesis test for determining whether one time series is useful for forecasting another. The results indicated that the existence of a bidirectional causality running from trade to urbanization when six lags were applied. When eight lags were applied, we found unidirectional causality running from urbanization to trade. Second, gravity models were used to investigate the urbanization effect on trade. The production cost and specification are affected by the economies of scale, and the economies of scale increased as the greater geographically agglomeration. However, the gravity model to explain the bilateral trade flows ignores the urbanization variables. Therefore we added the urbanization variable represented as the geographically agglomeration into gravity model. The results show that the degree of urbanization of both countries has statistically positive effect on trade (export and import) and the bigger coefficients of trade partner's urbanization. The reason is that the trade share of industrial supplies, intermediate goods and capital goods is much higher than finished consumer goods. The urbanization is more important the improved the efficiency of production than demand market.

With the advent of the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, various support policies and programs are being introduced as the promotion of startups related to the 4th industry is promoted as a core policy of the government. Based on major technologies such as Artificial Intelligence(AI), Big Data, Internet of Things(IoT), Blockchain, and Automation leading the 4th industrial revolution, logistics and distribution companies are expanding the range of markets and services provided. The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of startups in the logistics field based on major technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, which are rapidly growing at home and abroad, and suggest implications for revitalizing logistics startups through a policy demand survey. As a result of the study, in order to foster domestic logistics startups, we propose policy support for integration of logistics startups, integrated management of information, provision of physical space, network platform, and practical education and mentoring.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationships of perceived value, price sensitivity, and satisfaction between brand image and purchase intention of consumers who have experience of overseas direct purchase. This study collected questionnaires used to analyze these structural relationships. Using the R's plspm package, we analyzed the PLS (partial least squares) structural equation model. In order to examine the relationship between perceived value and price sensitivity, the research model was modified and analyzed. As a result, not only the adoption of the research hypothesis, but also the goodness of fit was higher than before the research model modifying, and the relationship between perceived value and price sensitivity was further verified. The modified research model has higher academic value, so it is necessary to select it as the final proposal model.

This study aims to examine the effects of international trade in intermediate input on the implications of international business cycle properties in Korea. To do this, I have extended standard one goods New Keynesian international business cycle model to incorporate the role of intermediate inputs. After constructing the DSGE model, I have analysed the impulse response function and varian decomposition results. The results show that the model could introduce a new channel, that is, "cost channel" like Eyquem and Kamber (2014). In other words, the model has changed the dynamics of aggregate inflation by the cost channel. When the trade in intermediate goods increase, which is measured by openness of foreign input, the volatility of output, consumption and inflation increase two or three times. However, the model itself fails to explain the full account of cycle behavior of historical data, but the results imply that the trade in intermediate input assumption can help to improve the forecasting ability of international business cycle models.

As the Internet empowers citizens and democratizes societies, it is also changing classic business and economic paradigms. Entrepreneurs are able to start new businesses more easily, with smaller up-front investment requirements, by accessing the Internet's worldwide network of customers. Internet technology is having a profound effect on the global trade in services. World trade involving computer software, entertainment products(motion pictures, videos, games, soul)d recordings), information services(databases, online newspapers), technical information, product licenses, financial services, and professional services(businesses and technical consulting, accounting, architectural design, legal advice, travel services, etc.) has grown rapidly in the past decade.

The purpose of this paper is to study the current situations of trade financial EDI based on The BOLERO system, New BOLERO system, The NACCS system in Japan and The EDEN(Electronic DElivery Negotiable document) system and problems in application of marine insurance contracts. Entwined with the contracts of carriage in international sale transactions is a contract of marine insurance by which the goods are insured against maritime perils. In the thesis I tried to explain the problems of paperless marine insurance contracts based on problems in relating to formation of the transit insurance contract and replication the functions of the marine insurance policy electronically.
