Life-and-death problem in Go is a fundamental problem to be overcome for implementing a computer Go. To solve it, an important consideration is to find out who surrounds or is surrounded between black and white players. To figure out the boundary between black and white groups, we applied an influence function and a contour tracing algorithm. We found that applying the Moore-neighbor tracing among various contour tracing algorithms can create boundaries, and also suggested the possibility of tremendously reducing the search space of a game tree.

In this study, I examined the visual elements for narrative structure and the symbols, scene components and visual styles in the images through analyze the flat staging in Tomm Moore's animated feature film, . As a research method, I figure out the general theories about staging and analyze extracted scenes which revealed flat staging in the , then summarize and clarify the flat staging production elements and features of Tomm Moore. As a result, in , the composition of the screen using the basic shapes, the screen composition containing the spiral which is symbol of the Celtic traditional pattern, the stable and flat frame expression through the balanced screen composition, expression of spatial sensation using perspective, appearance of the period by using the inverted perspective, and composition that can emphasize the flat formability are appeared as a characteristic. Through this, the two-dimensional planarity was maximized to convey the feeling of appreciating the illustrations of fairy tales. Tomm Moore, who produced animation based on folk tales in order to inherit the traditional culture of Ireland, has been attracting worldwide attention because of its flat staging to help narrative, enhancing the original expression and performance of animation. I hope that this study will be used as basic data for industry workers and researchers who make unique and excellent animated feature film.

This paper concerns several versions of conditionalization. In particular, I will examine the relationship between Jeffrey conditionalization and the second order conditionalization concerning updating higher order credences. In section 2, I suggest explicitly what Jeffrey conditionalization and the second order conditionalization are. I will argue in section 3 that Jeffrey conditionalization conflicts with van Fraassen's Reflection Principle while the second order conditionalization doesn't. And I will also argue in section 4 that under some situations, Jeffrey conditionalization may lead agents to Moorean absurdity while the second conditionalization may not. As a result, I will claim that Jeffrey conditionalization is better than the second order contionalization at updating our higher order credences.

Pattern refers to singular or repetitive decorative form in a blank surface, Also pattern is not just something to simply fill in the blanks, and has more meanings. Pattern reflects the specific culture or regional feature. So Depending on which pattern to use, creator can give particular of identity. which is generally utilized in visual arts such as painting, architecture, craft, as well as animation. Pattern in animation plays a role of decorating background or surfaces of characters' outfits or props. And Parttern is effective way to describe the story of the times and space environment of the background. Tomm Moore, an animation director in in Ireland mainly produces animations based on traditional folk stories or myths. He usually utilizes cultural and artistic factors related to the themes in his work production. One example is the insertion of pattern closely associated with the narratives and backgrounds of animations to create profound scenes. Tomm Moore used the Irish Celt pattern in Secret of Kells (2009) and Song of Sea (2014) and Islam geometric pattern and plant pattern in a short nimation named On Love from Kahlil Gibran's The Prophe (2014). This study attempts to examine the historical and cultural foundation and the narratives of these two animations, Song of Sea(2014) and Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet: On Love (2014) in which Tomm Moore participated as the director and producer, exploring their relevant traditional patterns. Moreover, it also attempts to analyze how these traditional patterns are utilized in the animations.

최근 무어의 법칙이 깨짐에 따라 멀티코어 프로세서의 활용이 늘어나고 있으며 이는 임베디드 환경에서도 보편화되었다. 이러한 멀티코어 환경에 기존에 멀티프로세서용으로 개발된 AMP 또는 SMP 구조의 운영체제를 적용시키게 된다면 멀티코어의 장점을 살리기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 기존 운영체제 구조에 대한 분석을 통해 멀티코어용으로 적합한 운영체제 구조가 가상 머신 구조라는 것을 보이고 있으며 산업에 활용할 수 있는 멀티코어용 가상 머신 모니터의 설계를 제공하고 있다.

Using Generalized Inverse Method presented by Udwadia and Kalaba in 1992, we can obtain equations to exactly describe the motion of constrained systems. When the differential equations are numerically integrated by any numerical integration scheme, the numerical results are generally found to veer away from satisfying constraint equations. Thus, this paper deals with the numerical integration of the differential equations describing constrained systems. Based on Baumgarte method, we propose numerical methods for reducing the errors in the satisfaction of the constraints.

지난 40여년간의 반도체 집적 공정의 발전에 있어서 무어(Moore)의 법칙에 의한 소자의 미세화를 달성하기 위하여, 광리소그래피(optical lithography) 기술은 꾸준히 발전하여 왔으며, 소자의 선폭이 나노스케일인 공정에서 역시, 소자 제조의 핵심기술은 리소그래피 기술을 이용한 회로의 패터닝(patterning) 기술에 달려 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 그러나 현재 사용되고 있는 광리소그래피는 사용하는 파장의 길이에 따른 분해능(resolution)의 한계로 인하여, 이러한 나노 스케일의 소자를 제작하기 위해서는 새로운 리소그래피 기술이 필요하다는 것이 일반적으로 인정이되고 있다.(중략)

Demand forecasting is essential in establishing national and corporate strategy as well as the management of their resource. We forecast demand for multi-generation product using discrete choice model combining diffusion model The discrete choice model generally captures consumers'valuation of the product's qualify in the framework of a cross-sectional analysis. We incorporate diffusion effects into a discrete choice model in order to capture the dynamics of demand for multi-generation products. As an empirical application, we forecast demand for worldwide DRAM (dynamic random access memory) and each of its generations from 1999 to 2005. In so doing, we use the method of 'Technological Forecasting'for DRAM Density and Price of the generations based on the Moore's law and learning by doing, respectively. Since we perform our analysis at the market level, we adopt the inversion routine in using the discrete choice model and find that our model performs well in explaining the current market situation, and also in forecasting new product diffusion in multi-generation product markets.

This study examines placeness of the living space on the basis of Schulz's existential space and inquires into the expressional features of placeness by analyzing cases. Results of this study have shown that placeness of living space is formed by three factors as follows. First, the living space with placesness maintains inner order which structuralizes surroundings. Second, it expresses its identity through innate shape that reflects surroundings. Third, inner space has innate identity and it is much related to characteristics personality of a resident, environmental and psychological factors. It is as follows that concrete features of existential placeness shown in analyzing cases of Botta and Moore's works. There are concrete expressional features of placeness in the housing of Botta, and one is to keep order of inner space the horizontal and vertical axis reflected surroundings. Another is to show existence feeling as the shape of a stable singular mass with surroundings and regional properties. The third is to value innate features of each space inside housing and particularly to acquire placeness as combining phenomenological characteristic of light. There are concrete expressional features of placeness in the housing of Moore, and first, strong centrality formed in the inside is emphasized as extending to outside environment. Second, existence feeling is acquired as familiar form using the shape and material considered surroundings. Third, the personality of a resident is positively reflected in the design. Besides, placeness is acquired by goods and furniture as positively considering environmental and psychological sides.

This study explores the characteristics of Elizabeth Bishop's poetry in comparison with the two of her closest friends and poets, Marianne Moore and Robert Lowell. Bishop's reputation has dramatically changed since her death. In the 1970s she was "a writer's writer's writer," and admired by a small group of poets or critics. Since 1990s, however, there has been a great shift in the evaluation of her poetry, which is so called "The Elizabeth Bishop Phenomenon." It does not seem to be an easy task to examine what has driven the phenomenon, and why she used to be a minor poet or "the most honored yet most elusive of poets" but now she has a widespread recognition by the academy and beyond it. The "intrinsic qualities" of Bishop's poetry, however, can be one of the main reasons why it took several decades for Bishop to become a central figure in the literary canon. Looking into her "intrinsic qualities," this paper discusses Bishop's "The Fish," "Roosters" through the Moore-Bishop relationship, and reads Bishop's "Armadillo" and "The Monument" through the Lowell-Bishop relationship. It also deals with letters, interviews, Moore's "The Fish," and Lowell's "Skunk Hour" and "For the Union Dead" to show the Bishop's deep and complex relationships with the two poets, and more importantly their differences. Bishop's poetry is difficult, "elusive," and sometimes "enigmatic," not because her texts are full of difficult words to understand but because there are the subtle interchange between perception and meaning, "the dynamics of keen feeling," the unresolved patterns, and the transient vision under the seemingly transparent surface of the texts.
