Effect of Science Learning Motivation and Science Self-Efficacy on the Science Learning Flow of Preservice Elementary Teachers (초등예비교사의 과학 학습동기, 과학적 자기효능감이 과학 학습몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to investigate the effects of science learning motivation and science self-efficacy on the science learning flow of preservice elementary teachers. The study recruited 77 preservice elementary teachers during their sophomore year from the B university of education. Descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient, and multiple regression were used for data analysis. The results were as follows: science learning motivation and science self-efficacy exerted a significant positive correlation with and a statistically significant effect on science learning flow. Satisfaction was the main influential subelement of science learning motivation. For science self-efficacy, the main influential subelements were emotional stability and language encouragement. Moreover, it was deduced that self-efficacy exerted a greater effect on science learning flow than science learning motivation.

Factors influencing the organizational commitment and work performance of outsourced workers (아웃소싱 근로자의 조직몰입과 업무성과에 미치는 영향요인)

  • This study designed a research model to analyze the relationship between organizational commitment and work performance for outsourcing workers. The path relationship was analyzed using the PLS-SEM of the sample collected through the survey. As a result of the study, organizational support perception had a direct effect on the work performance of outsourcing workers, and the company commitment and customer company commitment had a mediating effect. In addition, it was confirmed that the workers showed dual commitment to the company and the customer company, and the organizational commitment to both companies was complementary. It was also suggested that the outsourcing company's organizational support activities are more important for improving the work performance of workers.

The Effect of the Artificial Intelligence Storytelling Education Program on the Learning Flow (인공지능 스토리텔링 교육 프로그램이 학습 몰입도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of artificial intelligence storytelling education program designed to help learning artificial intelligence based on storytelling, the most important element of human intelligence, on learning flow. To this end, a 16-hour artificial intelligence education program was designed and developed, and applied over 8 weeks to 19 gifted students in 5th and 6th grades of elementary school. Artificial intelligence storytelling education program was developed in the form of teaching and learning course plans for each class and storybooks. Artificial intelligence storytelling education program application results showed significant improvements in average scores in all 9 sub-factors of learning flow, including combination of challenges and abilities, integration of behavior and consciousness, clear goal, concrete feedback, focus on task, sense of control, loss of self-consciousness, Distortion of the sense of time, and self-purpose experience. In other words, it was confirmed that artificial intelligence storytelling education program was effective in improving learning flow.

The Influence of Franchise Supervisor's Leadership on Franchisee's Trust and Commitment (가맹본부 관리자의 리더십이 가맹점의 가맹본부에 대한 신뢰와 몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the effects of supervisors' leadership style on franchisees' trust and commitment in a franchise system. We classified leadership into two styles - transformational leadership vs. transactional leadership, and it was hypothesized and tested that these two leadership styles have differential effects on trust and two different types of commitment - calculative commitment vs. affective commitment. A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect the data and a total number of 184 Korean franchisees in diverse industries participated to the survey. Using a structural equation modeling, we confirmed some differential effects of the two leadership styles. Transformational leadership was found to have positive effects on franchisees' trust in and affective commitment to the franchisor, while it has no effects on calculative commitment. On the other hand, transactional leadership was positively related to calculative commitment to the franchisor. But it had no effects on trust and affective commitment. Meanwhile, we also found that trust positively affects on both types of commitment. The results of this study suggest that the quality of franchisor-franchisee relationships can be improved by supervisor's strong leadership, especially by transformational leadership, and that transformational leadership, when compared to transactional leadership, is more important for developing a long-term and stable franchisor-franchisee relationship.

The Influence of an Aesthetically Appealing Product on the Using Time, Flow, and Recall Memory (제품의 심미성이 제품의 사용시간, 몰입도, 정보 기억도에 미치는 영향)

  • Three experiments were carried out in order to determine whether users have longer using time, better recall of product information, and flow in an aesthetically appealing product (media player) in products offering good usability. For the experiment, fourteen emotional words were employed which were made up of 8 aesthetic and 6 usability words. In a preliminary experiment, the subjects freely used three media players and selected emotional words by a 7-point likert scale to distinguish a group of similar usability value and another group contrary to the other in aesthetic and usability value. (N=18) In the main experiment, it was hypothesized that users use more and have more flow and recalled information in the case of the aesthetically appealing product. Therefore, in the main experiment, we measured how much time subjects spent using the product and asked them to make an assumption regarding the time spent by the group that has the same usability value. We then examined the time they spent and the gap between the actual and estimated time. We also calculated the amount of menu information recalled via a questionnaire. In the last experiment, we selected the group of products contrary to each other in aesthetic and usability value and assessed the differences in using time, recall of product information, and flow. (N=18) The empirical results provide evidence that aesthetically appealing products are associated with greater flow and recall of product information than other products, thus supporting the hypothesis. In addition, it was found that there is a positive correlation between the aesthetically appealing product and flow index as well as with recalled information.

  • The Purpose of this Study is to Examine the Effects of Organizational Commitment on Safety Behavior. This Study Built a Exploratory Model that there is Causal Relationship of Organizational Commitment to Employee's Performance that Safety Behavior. Additionally this Study Examine the Moderating Effect of Employee's Job Insecurity on the Effect of Employee Safety Behavior. For the Verification of this Study Model, the Moderating Effects Regression Analysis was Applied to the Surveys of 240 Members of Small and Medium -Sized Construction Industry Employee in Busan. As a Result of the Verification, the First of Organizational Commitment on Organizational Performance has Found that all Three Organizational Commitment of Affective Commitment, Continuance Commitment and Normative Commitment have Impacts Safety Behavior. Second the Study Verifies the Moderating Effect of Employee's Job Insecurity. the Moderating Effect of Employee's Safety Behavior Between the Independent Variable(organizational commitment) and the Outcome Variables has been Analyzed. As a Result, High level of Job Insecurity Employee has been shown to have a Moderating Effect Between the Independent Variable and Safety Behavior.

A Study on the effect of Knowledge workers's Job Characteristics on Organizational Commitment -Shared Leadership as a Moderating variable (지식근로자의 직무특성이 조직 몰입도에 미치는 영향 -공유리더십을 조절 변수로)

  • In this era of the knowledge-based economy, the most important issue that we faced is the management of the knowledge workers who is the main source of enterprise. There has been a big issue on the organizational commitment recently which is the idea of how much employees have a positive affection to the enterprise they work for and also how much time, knowledge and energy employees are willing to invest for their company success. Improving this concept would provide a meaningful implication in managing the knowledge workers. This research which is based on previous studies, it aims to control the effect on the organizational commitment by Shared Leadership which puts the job characteristics of knowledge workers into a dominant factor. As a result of the study, among the several job characteristics, autonomy and a feedback had a positive effect on the organizational commitment. Shared Leadership as a moderating variable, has shown an affirmative effect on autonomy, a feedback, and problem solving as an independent variable and on the organizational commitment as a dependent variable. However, related to the job complexity, it did not show a notable influence. Also, the Shared Leadership has shown a favorable impact on the feedback and problem solving, but barely effected on autonomy or job complexity.

Affecting Inter-department Rotation and Organizational commitment in Radiological Technicians (방사선사의 이동근무에 대한 태도와 조직몰입에 대한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 이동근무를 시행하는 종합병원 방사선사의 이동근무에 대한 태도와 조직몰입도를 파악하기 위하여 시도 하였으며, 연구의 대상은 대전지역 이동근무를 시행하는 종합병원 4곳의 방사선사 110명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하였다. 인구사회학적 특성은 성별은 남자가 많았으며 연령별로는 30~34세가 가장 많았으며 응답자 대다수가 부서이동 경험이 있었다. 정기적 근무부서 이동 필요성에 관한 문항은 대다수가 필요하다고 답하였으나 현 부서에서 이동 요구도는 비슷하게 나타났다. 근무부서 이동에 대한 태도의 영역별 점수에서는 전문직 발전이 가장 높게 나타났다. 인구사회학적 특성별 근무부서 이동에 대한 태도와 조직몰입의 차이검증에서는 성별, 결혼상태, 학력에 따라 유의한 차이는 없었으며 연령 19~29세에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 미혼인 경우에 전문직 발전과 개인발전, 공통욕구에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈으며 종교를 가지고 있는 공통욕구 부문에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 직무관련 특성에 따른 근무부서 이동에 대한 태도와 조직몰입의 차이검증에서는 월 급여 수준에서 199만원 이하의 전문직 발전과 개인발전, 현부서 근무기간 1년~5년의 개인발전에서는 유의한 차이를 나타냈으나 나머지 문항에서는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 월급여 수준에서 조직몰입은 250만원 이상이 가장 높게 나타났고, 근무유형에서는 정규직, 직위에서는 관리자가 조직몰입이 높게 나타났다. 11년 이상의 근무기간에서 병원에 대한 조직몰입이 높게 나타났다. 근무부서 이동 필요성에 대해서는 근무부서 이동이 필요하며 현 부서에서도 이동하는 것을 긍정적으로 생각하였으나 이동을 원하지 않는 경우에서 조직몰입이 높게 나타났다. 근무부서 이동에 대한 태도와 조직몰입도간의 상관관계에서 두 변수는 양의 상관관계가 있었고 이는 통계적으로 유의하였고, 근무부서 이동에 대한 4개의 영역 중에서 공통욕구만이 가장 큰 관련성을 나타냈다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합하여 보면 연령이 낮은 군에서는 이동근무를 원하고 조직 몰입이 낮으나 이와 반대로 연령이 높은 군에서는 이동근무를 원하지 않고 조직 몰입도 높게 나타났다. 또한 낮은 급여, 비정규직, 현 부서에서 이동을 원할수록 이동근무에 대해 긍정적인 점수가 높게 나타났다. 이동근무에 대한 태도는 대부분 전문직 발전이라는 이유에서 이동근무가 필요하다고 느꼈으나 현 부서에서 이동 유무는 비슷한 분포를 보였고, 조직몰입은 이동근무를 원하지 않는 경우에서 높게 나타났다. 조직몰입은 정규직이고, 연령이 높고, 관리자이며 연봉이 높을수록 높게 나타났다. 이는 안정적인 위치에 있을수록 조직몰입이 좋다는 걸 보여준다.

The Effect of Job Environment Factors on Turnover Intention of School Foodservice Employee and Mediating Effect of Organizational Commitments (직무환경 요인이 학교급식 조리종사자의 이직의도에 미치는 영향과 조직몰입의 매개효과)

  • The study aims were to verify the influences of job environment factors and work attitude on turnover intention of school foodservice employees, and then to verify the mediating effect of organization commitment between six areas of worklife and turnover intention so that organizations can intervene to reduce the turnover intentions of employees. The subjects were 205 employees who were working in the school foodservice field. The job environment factors were measured by six areas of worklife (workload, control, reward, fairness, community, value) and the organizational commitment was measured by two types of commitments (affective, continuance). The results were as follows. First, workload, reward, community and value of six areas of worklife reduced affective commitment, control and fairness increased continuance commitment, and affective commitment reduced turnover intention. Second, only reward and community showed direct effect on turnover intention, but all six areas of worklife had a statistically significant indirect effect on turnover intention through affective commitment. These results showed that job environment factors had both direct and indirect effect on employees' behavior through employees' affection. These findings imply that organizations can control employees' turnover intention by providing education or social support to maintain their affective commitment even when organizations cannot change job environment.

The Effects of Major Satisfaction and Major Commitment of Undergraduate Students Majoring in Social Welfare on the Intention to have a Social welfare Job (사회복지직 취업의도에 미치는 사회복지학 전공생의 전공만족과 전공몰입의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of major satisfaction and major commitment of undergraduate students majoring in social welfare on the intention to have a social welfare job. For this study, a survey of 442 undergraduate students majoring in social welfare at 4 universities located in Kangwon-do was conducted and the data was analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program. Major satisfaction consisted of general satisfaction and satisfaction of subjects, and major commitment consisted of emotional commitment, behavioral commitment, intellectual commitment and time commitment. The research findings are as follows: First, 62.3% of respondents had an intention to have a social welfare job, and 21.6% were undecided. Second, the level of major satisfaction(2.98) and major commitment(2.63) were slightly higher than the mid-point of the 4-point Likert scale. Third, major satisfaction and major commitment showed a significant difference according to intention to have a welfare job and university attended. Fourth, major satisfaction and major commitment had a positive effect on the intention to have a social welfare job according to the results of binary logistic regression. This study concludes by discussing theoretical implications for future study and practical implications for major satisfaction and major commitment strategies based on our results.
