Fever Phobia: A Survey of Children's Parents in a Pediatric Outpatient Clinic (소아청소년과 외래를 방문한 부모들의 발열공포와 관련 요인)

  • Purpose: Purposes of this study were to identify the level of parental fever phobia and to investigate the relationship between level of parental concern about fever and related variables. Methods: Participants were 151 parents of children who visited a pediatric outpatient clinic. A selfreported structured questionnaire was used for data collection and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and ${\chi}^2$-test. Results: Almost half of participants defined a minimum temperature for fever as $37.8^{\circ}C$ and a minimum temperature for high fever as $38.9^{\circ}C$. About 75% of participants identified harmful effects of fever as seizure and brain damage, were 'very worried' about fever, measured their child's temperature every hour or less, provided tepid massage and woke children to give antipyretics during febrile illness. There were significant relationships between level of parental concerns about fever and prior experience of febrile seizures, and/or being parents of a single child. Conclusion: Results indicate that fever phobia is prevalent among parents. Further studies are needed to develop and evaluate childhood fever management educational programs for parents. Considering health care providers as a primary information resource about fever management, health care providers should play a vital role to reduce parental unrealistic concerns about fever.

  • The Purpose of this study is to Present the tourism development Plan of Muan County in relation to the establishment of the Muau international Airport. This study criticizes the stereotypical tourism development plans carried out by numerous loyal self-governments. The highest purpose of tourism is to create an experience that cannot be had In a Person's daily life. Tourism development in Muan must be loyal to this philosophy of tourism. This study raises three key questions: What is the nature of tourism\ulcorner; For whom is tourism developed\ulcorner , Why is tourism being developed\ulcorner The answers to the three key questions are very basic ones. but are not being fulfilled in the tourism development of Korea, as fellows. Firstly, tourism development should be carried out to strengthen the special characteristics of tourism resources. Secondly, tourism development should encourage the participation of local residents within the Process, and it should be helpful to the local industry and the resident's income. lastly, the development should refrain from relying heavily on money-making businesses but seek to enrich the lives of visitors and hosts together. This study presents five distinctive tourism development schemes for Muan. They are as follows: the establishment of a scenic byway leading to the Airport: the development of Hoeshan lotus reservoir as a tourist resort for Buddhists and as a traditional health care center: the utilization of the .Japanese military airport relics as an historical and cultural tourist attraction: the establishment of a salt-water spa complex: and the vitalization of agricultural tourism by utilizing the advantage of the Muan international Airport.

A Study on the Practice and Effects of Sleep Hygiene (수면위생의 실행과 효과에 대한 연구)

  • Objectives : The authors investigated the practice of sleep hygiene and its effectiveness in general population who had experienced insomnia. If we find the items which be little practiced but especially effective, we would establish empirical an and theoretical basis to design the treatment program for insomnia, therefore apply it in clinical practice. Methods : The 226 subjects who had experienced insomnia, were at the age above 18 in Seoul, Korea. The questionnaire included the demographic data, the experience of insomnia, and the practices and effects of sleep hygiene instruction. The interview was administered face to face by the investigators. Results : The subjects reported that they practiced many of the sleep hygiene items related with arousal in sleep setting, and that those items were effective. The items such as 'get regular exercise each day(H)', 'take a hot bath(H)', 'concentrate on the pleasant feeling of relaxation(A)' were not usually practiced, but these items were reported very effective for sleep. Conclusion : The findings suggested that there were sleep hygiene items which should be educated and directed to practice actively in treatment program for insomniacs. Some items, which were especially reported low practice but highly effective, would be recommended to be studied about each therapeutic effectiveness in follow-up studies.

  • 오늘날 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 관련 기술 연구는 사용자가 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 네트워크에 접근해 다양한 컴퓨터 관련 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있는 방법에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이 처럼 시간과 공간의 한계를 뛰어 넘은 네트워크로의 자유로운 접근은 일상 생활의 패러다임을 바꾸어 놓게 될 것이다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술을 통해 가장 큰 변화가 일어나는 분야는 일반 가정환경에서 일어나는 인텔리전트 홈 네트워크 (Intelligent Home Network) 라고 할 수 있다. 집에 들어오면, 자동으로 문을 열어주고, 불을 켜주며, 놓쳤던 TV 프로그램을 자동으로 녹화해 놓았다가 원하는 시간에 보여주고, 적당한 시간에 목욕물을 미리 받아준다. 또한 집밖으로 나가기 전, 일기예보에 따라 우산을 챙겨주고, 일정을 확인시켜주며 입고 나갈 옷을 골라줄 수도 있다. 이 모든 일들이 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술이 가져올 인텔리전트 홈 네트워크의 모습이다. 그러나, 모든 사용자에게 효과적인 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 홈 네트워크 상의 자원 관리에서 일어날 수 있는 에이전트들간의 자원 접근 권한 충돌을 효율적으로 방지할 수 있는 기술이 필요하다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 자원관리 특성은 점유의 연속성, 자원 사이의 연관성, 그리고 자원과 사용자 사 사이의 연계성의 3 가지 특성을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 일어날 수 있는 자원 충돌 상황을 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 자원 협상 방법을 제안한다. 본 방법은 자원 관리 특성을 바탕으로 시간논리에 기반을 둔 자원 선점과 분배 규칙으로 구성된다.트 시스템은 b-Cart를 기반으로 할 것으로 예측할 수 있다.타났다. 또한, 스네이크의 초기 제어점을 얼굴은 44개, 눈은 16개, 입은 24개로 지정하여 MER추출에 성공한 영상에 대해 스네이크 알고리즘을 수행한 결과, 추출된 영역의 오차율은 각각 2.2%, 2.6%, 2.5%로 나타났다.해서 Template-based reasoning 예를 보인다 본 방법론은 검색노력을 줄이고, 검색에 있어 Feasibility와 Admissibility를 보장한다.매김할 수 있는 중요한 계기가 될 것이다.재무/비재무적 지표를 고려한 인공신경망기법의 예측적중률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 로지스틱회귀 분석의 재무적 지표모형은 훈련, 시험용이 84.45%, 85.10%인 반면, 재무/비재무적 지표모형은 84.45%, 85.08%로서 거의 동일한 예측적중률을 가졌으나 인공신경망기법 분석에서는 재무적 지표모형이 92.23%, 85.10%인 반면, 재무/비재무적 지표모형에서는 91.12%, 88.06%로서 향상된 예측적중률을 나타내었다.ting LMS according to increasing the step-size parameter $\mu$ in the experimentally computed. learning curve.   • Background : Eight-Constitution Medicine (ECM) devides the human body into eight constitutions. Up until now, checking the pulse types is only way to classify the eight constitution. Recently we try to make a questionnaire that is based on the Eight-Constitution characters and analyze the answer from patients who were classified into one of the eight constitutions according to their pulse types and their responses to constitution-acupuncture therapy Objective : This study intends to analyze each answer of the Eight-Constitution Questionnaire with independent sample t-test. Methods: Participants of this study were outpatients in ECM clinics located in Korea. The resources were collected from 925 patients who were classified into one of the eight constitutions according to their pulse types and their responses to constitution-acupuncture therapy. SPSS 13.0 for Windows was used for independent sample t-test. Results and Conclusions: 1. The proportion of participants' constitutions is in the order of Pancreotonia (28.0%), Colonotonia (17.3%), Pulmotonia (18.1%), Hepatonia (18.1%), Vesicotonia (8.5%), Cholecystotonia (7.0%), Renotonia (2.6%) and Gastrotonia (0.4%). 2. Eight-Constitution Questionnaire consists of 5 parts; Appearance, Character, Body reaction, Physiology & Pathology and Food reaction. 3. 44 items were chosen among 128 question about Body reaction, Physiology & Pathology and Food reaction. 4. Due to the deficiency of Gastrotonia examples, useful items have to be given up. If we can gather Gastrotonia examples, we can use meaningful items more than 44.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the preference of bathroom environment for stroke patients. Methods : The subjects of this study were 97 who have experience in rehabilitation therapy at hospitals in Busan. A questionnaire was distributed and collected from February 24th to March 13th, 2014. Results : First, the subjects demand for improvement that non-slip tile and safety handle on bathtub. Second, they preferred the sliding door, sliding door handle, shower booth of convenient facility, non-slip tile, built-in cabinet, L-shaped safety handle, natural ventilating window, floor heating, easier bathtub to enter, bathtub with handle, tilted sink, water temperature index, toilet with safety handle, and bath chair. Conclusion : This study would contribute to bathroom environment for safety and ease in use.

The Impact of the Korean Long-Term Care Insurance System on its Family Caregivers: Focusing on Family Caregiving Arrangement (노인장기요양보험제도에서 재가노인돌봄의 변화에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes that family caregivers have experienced since using the Korean Long-Term Care Insurance(LTCI) system. In-depth interviews were conducted to determine how the services offered within the LTCI program had affected family caregiving and what changes they had incurred. Results from the qualitative content analysis show that the LTCI program significantly reduced the caregiving burden among family caregivers although burdens that family caregiver perceived varied greatly depending on the types of service that the family selected, and assigned family caregivers different identities and diverse roles(i.e., service user, family caregiver, certified care provider) depending on the service they use. The phenomenon of 'certified family care provider', which was not an intention of LTCI, demonstrates the practical need of elderly persons who require both care and the comfort of family and economic status of the family. Despite the positive impact of the LTCI policy on the family caregivers' burden and family relationship, the current LTCI system should be modified in order to better meet the needs of beneficiaries and their family caregivers.

A Study on the Market trends Analysis of Companion Animal Food and Products in Korea (국내 반려동물 식품 및 용품 시장현황 분석 연구)

  • The companion animal related businesses are rapidly growing as the pet population increases in Korea. In this study, we analyzed the market trends of companion animal food and products to offer basic information that can be used in related policies and industries. The data were collected using Nielsen Korea's wholesale/retail distribution channels. As a result, in the case of companion dog food, PB products of domestic companies showed the highest market share with 24.6%, and the ratio of domestic companies(54.8%) was higher than that of import companies(45.2%). Domestic PB products also had the highest market share(16.5%) in companion cat food, however, the ratio of import companies(71.6%) was higher than that of domestic companies(28.4%). In the case of the market share of the companion animal products(toys, oral and bath supplies), Nosework mats from domestic companies were top ranked in the toy category(28.0%). Oral products(62.5%) and bath products(59.5%) from domestic companies were also having a higher market share than import companies. Our research may help domestic companion animal product companies to steadily increase market share and the amount of their export.

A Study on the Utilization of potential heat sources for Heat Pumps to District Heating System in Urban (도시 내 지역난방 Heat Pump용 잠재열원 이용에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the available potential heat source for heat pump in the district heating supply area in the city. Unused energy potentials were estimated and integrated based on open source based data. In particular, geographical spatial analysis of recoverable heat energy density and heat demand in the heat source area of large retailers and public sauna facilities in the DH network located in the southern part of the metropolitan area (Pyeongtaek-si) was conducted. As a result of the study, the DH network area had a total potential energy of 1,741.7 toe/year for the two heat sources of large retailers and public saunas. It is estimated that 1,006.9 toe/year, which is 57.8% of the total, can be linked to the district heating. The large retailers showed a positive correlation with the floor area and energy use of 0.4937. The recoverable energy intensity was estimated to be $0.0017toe/m^2$ per unit area and $0.0069tCO_2/m^2$ for greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, public saunas were analyzed by comparing the empirical case with the theoretical calculation, and it was estimated that energy conservation estimate of 80% was $0.0315toe/m^2$ per bath area and $0.1183tCO_2/m^2$ for greenhouse gas emissions. The total potential energy amount of this area was positively correlated with the heat demand of apartment house by administrative district, and it was confirmed that it had a relatively high potential energy especially in traffic and commercial center.

A Study on the Relationship among Attachment to Pet, Purchasing Attributes of Pet Products, Satisfaction, and Behavioral Intention (반려동물에 대한 애착도와 반려동물용품의 구매속성, 만족 및 행동의도와의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • This study is conducted to provide marketing implications for the growing pet-related market by identifying the impact of attachment to pets on the purchasing attributes of pet goods and the relationship between the purchasing attributes, satisfaction, and behavioral intention.The survey was conducted on 173 respondents among the pet owners who had purchased pet products (beauty/bathing goods). The confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were conducted using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 21.0. This analysis results showed that attachment to a pet significantly influences the purchasing attributes of pet products: price appropriateness, quality, design, reputation and the sales environment. The relationship between the product purchasing attributes, satisfaction, and behavioral intention showed that price appropriateness, quality, and the sales environment of the product purchasing attributes had a significant impact on satisfaction, but the product's design and reputation do not. Satisfaction has a significant effect on behavioral intention. This study demonstrates that the pet product market should consider product quality, price appropriateness, use and an accessible sales environment based on the characteristics of pets rather than considering the design or reputation of the owner's preference of product.
