Design and Implementation of A Mobile-based Demonstration System 'Smart Demo' (모바일 기반 시연 시스템 '스마트 데모'의 설계 및 구현)

  • An application's demonstration takes much time because there are a number of interactions involved. When a demonstration is indeed necessary, a separate session of demonstration is commonly carried out besides a presentation. If one can control the application wirelessly using mobile devices, he can present his messages effectively by having a live self-paced demonstration. This method of demonstration has not been possible to implement due to the limitations on performance and/or screen size of feature phones. Lately commercialized smartphones, however, are equipped with better performance and various features so that they can be utilized to implement the new demonstration method. With these smartphones, one can view the application images right on mobile devices to control applications directly. This paper describes the issues of design and implementation of a mobile-based demonstration system, 'Smart Demo'.

  • 지상파 UHD 방송을 위해 과학기술정보통신부는 UHD 방송장비의 국산화를 위한 R&D 사업을 UHD 워크플로우 전반에 걸쳐 추진한 바 있다. KBS와 RAPA는 국산 UHD 방송장비로 구성된 UHD 라이브 워크플로우의 시연 및 정합시험을 위한 시연용 테스트베드를 기획 및 제작하였다. 전체 시스템은 뉴스 및 토크쇼 형태의 시연 영상 연출을 위한 미니 스튜디오, 비디오 및 오디오 믹서, CG, 서버 등으로 구성된 부조정실, ATSC 3.0 시그널링 서버 등 송출시스템, 익사이터를 통한 송신 그리고 모바일 수신 단말을 통한 수신 시스템 등 실제 지상파 방송 송출 시스템을 모델링하여 테스트베드 형태로 구성된다. 본 논문은 시연 테스트베드 각 부분의 기획의도 및 구체적인 설계 방안의 제시를 통해 소규모 UHD 방송 스튜디오 등 워크플로우의 구성에 대한 이해를 돕고 아울러 상호운영성 검증 방안 들을 제시한다. 구현된 테스트베드는 방송기술인연합회와 공동으로 KOBA 2018 전시회에서 구축되어 전시기간 동안 전시회를 홍보하는 방송 프로그램 제작에 활용되었다.

  • Acquisition of the FIDO authentication technology in pursuit of improved security function of the NFC-based 2 factor electronic payment system enabled GenoTech Ch., Ltd. to develop its new service, Gallery-Auction, demoed at Daegu Exhibition. The demonstration was followed by the improvement requests in banner creation & installation, changes in UI, changes in order of operation, etc, which were taken into account for the succeeding update. During the second demonstration held at 'Art: Gwangju: 17,' it analyzed and visualized the number of visitors per hour there.

  • Mobile contents mean all contents that could be served by mobile terminals. The mobile contents are categorized by three areas, which are communication, information and entertainment. Since the various mobile contents have own characteristics, there are differentiations among the service success factors according to types of the contents. In this paper, we do not only derive important factors that influence success of mobile contents services, but also analyze how the factors influence the success of mobile services. We also analyze whether measures of the factors might differ significantly among the types of mobile contents services.

  • 스마트폰 애플리케이션의 종류가 다양해지고 사용 빈도수가 높아지는 만큼 정보보안에 대한 중요성도 나날이 증가하고 있다. 최근 기업, 금융기관들은 스마트폰 애플리케이션 서비스에서 사용자와 서버 간 통신 시 MITM공격에 대비하기 위해 SSL Pinning 기술을 사용하고 있는데 본 연구에서는 이를 우회할 수 있는 방법을 소개하고 시연하며, 이에 대한 대응방안을 소개한다.

So, Success model for the mobile services might be derived through mixing success model of information system with mobile attributes. There are many kinds of mobile services. Specially, commerce, communication entertainment and information services are representative types in mobile services.   • The concept of a hyper-presentation, as an extension of a hypermedia, is the presentation in which time-varying multimedia presentations are dynamically linked together and a hyperlink's context can be changed over time at any time during a continuous presentation. While this concept provides users with a flexible and powerful presentation for their descriptions of the multimedia datum, inconsistency problems in the synchronized presentations occur by hyper links can be introduced. This paper introduces a method of describing the hyper-presentation using petri-net and propose a methods of checking It's inconsistent hyper link loop in the hyper-presentation description.

Development of a Portable and Disposable pH Sensor Based on Titanium Wire with High Electrochemical Sensing Performance (우수한 전기화학적 센싱 성능을 지닌 티타늄 와이어 기반의 휴대 및 일회용 pH 센서 개발)

  • A portable and disposable pH sensor based on Ti wire was successfully developed for monitoring hydronium ion concentrations. A sensing electrode was prepared by electrochemically depositing iridium oxide onto a Ti wire, while a reference electrode was fabricated by coating Ag/AgCl ink on a Ti wire. Combining the two electrodes in the pH sensor enabled the collection of open circuit potential signals when the sensor was immersed in solutions of various pH values. The pH sensor exhibited excellent electrochemical sensing performance in terms of sensitivity, response time, repeatability, selectivity, and stability. To demonstrate point-of-measurement applications, the pH sensor was integrated with a wireless electronic module that could communicate with a mobile application. The portable pH sensor accurately measured pH changes in real samples. The results obtained were consistent with those of using a commercial pH meter.

Developing Library Tour Course Recommendation Model based on a Traveler Persona: Focused on facilities and routes for library trips in J City (여행자 페르소나 기반 도서관 여행 코스 추천 모델 개발 - J시 도서관 여행을 위한 시설 및 동선 중심으로 -)

  • The library tour program is a new type of cultural program that was first introduced and operated by J City, and library tourists travel to specialized libraries in the city according to a set course and experience various experiences. This study aims to build a customized course recommendation model that considers the characteristics of individual participants in addition to the existing fixed group travel format so that more users can enjoy the opportunity to participate in library tours. To this end, the characteristics of library travelers were categorized to establish traveler personas, and library evaluation items and evaluation criteria were established accordingly. We selected 22 libraries targeted by the library travel program and measured library data through actual visits. Based on the collected data, we derived the characteristics of suitable libraries and developed a persona-based library tour course recommendation model using a decision tree algorithm. To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed recommendation model, we build a mobile application mockup, and conducted user evaluations with actual library users to identify satisfaction and improvements to the developed model.

  • WebRTC has quickly grown to be the world's advanced real-time communication in several platforms such as web and mobile. In spite of the advantage, the current technology in WebRTC does not handle a big-streaming efficiently between peers and a large amount request of users on the Signaling server. Therefore, in this paper, we put our work to handle the problem by delivering the flow of data with dynamical load balancing algorithms. We analyze the request source users and direct those streaming requests to a load balancing component. More specifically, the component determines an amount of the requested resource and available resource on the response server, then it delivers streaming data to the requesting user parallel or alternately. To show how the method works, we firstly demonstrate the load-balancing algorithm by using a network simulation tool OPNET, then, we seek to implement the method into an Ubuntu server. In addition, we compare the result of our work and the original implementation of WebRTC, it shows that the method performs efficiently and dynamically than the origin.
