In this Study, FR-ECC(Fire Resistance Engineered Cementitious Composites) in which at same time it can improve the endurance and fire-resistance efficiency of a Structure was developed, and the experimental study such as thermal characteristic, Fire-resistance efficiency, and etc was performed for using FR-ECC as the repair materials for building and civil Structure. Moreover, it was evaluated about the field applicability of FR-ECC. As a result, FR-ECC is superior to the existence fire resistance repair mortar in strength and durability property. Also, FR-ECC was exposed to have the characteristic of being excellent than existence fire resistance mortar in the field applicability.

In order to evaluate the effects of exposure conditions on the resistance to sulfate attack of normal and blended cement mortars, several mechanical characteristics of the mortars such as expansion, strength and bulk density were regularly monitored for 52 cycles under sodium sulfate attack. The mortar specimens were exposed to 3 different types of exposure conditions; 1) continuous full immersion(Exposure A), continuous half-immersion(Exposure B) and cyclic wetting-drying(Exposure C). Experimental results indicated that the maximum deterioration was noted in OPC mortar specimens subjected to Exposure B, showing the wide cracks in the portions where attacking solution is adjacent to air. Additionally, the beneficial effect of ground granulated blast-furnace slag and silica fume was clearly observed showing a superior resistance against sodium sulfate attack, because of its lower permeability and densified structure. Thus, it is suggested that when concrete made with normal cement is exposed to sulfate environment, proper considerations on the exposure conditions should be taken.

This study were conduced experimentally to analyze the heat-generating performance, flexural strength, and microstructure of conductive mortar mixed with micro steel fiber and multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWCNT). In the conductive mortar heat-generating performance and flexural strength tests, the mixing concentration of MWCNT was selected as 0.0wt%, 0.5wt%, and 1.0wt% relative to the weight of cement, and micro steel fibers were mixed at 2.0vol% relative to the volume. The performance experiments were conducted with various applied voltages (DC 10V, 30V, 60V) and different electrode spacings (40 mm, 120 mm) as parameters, and the flexural strength was measured at the curing age of 28 days and compared and analyzed with the normal mortar. Furthermore, the surface shape and microstructure of conductive mortar were analyzed using a field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM). The results showed that the heat-generating performance improved as the mixing concentration of MWCNT and the applied voltage increased, and it further improved as the electrode spacing became narrower. However, even if the mixing concentration of MWCNT was added up to 1.0 wt%, the heat-generating performance was not significantly improved. As a result of the flexural strength test, the average flexural strength of all specimens except the PM specimen and the MWCNT mixed specimens was 4.5 MPa or more, showing high flexural strength due to the incorporation of micro steel fibers. Through FE-SEM image analysis, Through FE-SEM image analysis, it was confirmed that a conductive network was formed between micro steel fibers and MWCNT particles in the cement matrix.

Tunnel structures are constructed even longer and more extensive these days than they were in the past. Because of this reason, breaking out a large scale of fire in tunnel structures is frequently. Recently, a noticeable event is reported that the temperature of inside of tunnel rises significantly when an oil car detonated in the tunnel and it reached 1,350$^{\circ}$C. It did damage to people who used the tunnel at that time and caused many demaged parts of tunnel to recover. To improve a fire resistance of tunnel, many methods are studied focused refractory concrete and mortar. This study deals with refractory mortar and is a part of initial basic step. In this study mechanical properties are considered before fire resistance test. As result of test for examination of mechanical properties, it is considered that a consistency and strength of refractory mortar in this study are suitable to construct.
This paper presents a reinforced concrete composite column method in order to improve seismic performance of reinforced concrete column specimens by selectively applying steel fiber-reinforced mortars at the column plastic hinge region. In order to evaluate seismic improvement of the newly developed column method, a series of cyclic load test of column specimens under a constant axial load was investigated by manufacturing three specimens, two reinforced concrete composite columns by applying steel fiber-reinforced mortars at the column plastic hinge region and one conventional reinforced concrete column. Both concrete and steel fiber-reinforced mortar was cast-in placed type. From cyclic load test, it was found that the newly developed steel fiber-reinforced columns showed improved seismic performances than conventional reinforced concrete column in controlling bending and shear cracks as well as improving seismic lateral load-carrying capacities and lateral deformation capacities.

In this study, the fire resistance capabilities of polypropylene fiber-reinforced polymer-modified cement mortar were assessed to guarantee the fire resistance fo this materials, commonly employed in the repair of concrete structures. Experimental outcomes revealed that an increased water and polymer content heightened the likelihood of spalling, while longer polypropylene fibers and elevated polymer concentrations proved more effective in mitigating spalling.

The failure of expansion joints for bridges generally occurs in non-shrinkage mortar another problem is the release of anchors in expansion joints due to the impact and vibration that occurs when cars are driving over a bridge. In this study, to overcome the failure of expansion joints that is related to the failure of non-shrinkage mortar, an elastomeric mortar has been developed. The elastomeric mortar has a highly developed pull-out capacity compared with that of non-shrinkage mortar. Moreover, an anchor system that can be changed easily and prevent the fracture of expansion joints has been developed.

In this paper, the performance of air pollution reduction by coating the photocatalyst solution on the mortar surface was analyzed to ensure the possibility of applying the photocatalyst to structures with a large specific surface area. The photocatalytic concentrations of the coating solution were set to 1.5 % and 3.0 %, and the types of binders were considered as experimental variables, such as ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC), ordinary portland cement (OPC), and blast furnace slag. As the photocatalyst concentration increases, the air pollution reduction performance increases. In addition, as a result of the air pollution reduction performance, the NOx concentration reduction rate was the highest for UHPC, and the air pollution reduction performance increased as the blast furnace slag was replaced. Therefore, the amount of TiO2 remaining on the surface varies depending on the density of the tissue due to the difference in particles caused by the difference in the amount of TiO2 remaining on the surface.

This study is on the evaluation of performance of polymer cement mortar which is used for pre-wetting spray method. Pre-wetting spray method is an epoch-making method to repair concrete structures damaged, which is added a small quantity water preciously to dry mortar to reduce dust and rebound and spray mortar mixed with fixed quantity water at nozzle before spray. The result showed that physical performance such like compressive, flexural and adhesive strength of polymer cement mortar, TS 100 used for pre-wetting spray method was superior to other repair mortar. Also durable performance such as resistance on permeability of chloride ion, carbonation, chemical and freezing-thawing was excellent.

Steel fiber is a effective composite for crack resistance and improve structural performance under tensile loading. This study presents an evaluation of crack resistance and structural performance in cement mortar with steel fiber and expansion agent through internal chemical prestressing. For this work, cement mortar samples with 10% replacement of cement binder with CSA (Calcium-Sulfo-Aluminate) expansion agent and 1% volume ratio of steel fiber are prepared. Including basic mechanical properties, initial cracking load and fracture energy are evaluated in cement mortar beam with notch. Initial cracking load and fracture energy in cement mortar with CSA and steel fiber increase by 1.75 and 1.41~1.53 times compared with those in cement mortar with steel fiber. With optimum mix design for steel fiber and CSA expansive agent, the composite with chemical prestressing can be applied to various members and effectively improve crack resistance to external loading.
