A statistical model for interview score based on projection (사영에 근거한 면접 점수의 통계적 모형)

  • In this study, we propose a statistical model based on projection that generates interview scores. In this model, each interviewee's true score and its related variable are viewed as X, Y values respectively in the two dimensional plane, and each interviewer's score is the projected score of true score X to the axis rotated by some angle, which reflects the interviewer's perspective. Each interviewer's observed interview score is obtained by adding personal bias and observed error to this projected score. We compared commonly used standardizing methods of interview scores such as trimmed mean method, rank method, and z-score method based on the proposed statistical model. In this simulation, two types of interview methods, two numbers of interviewers, two degrees of interviewers' expertise and two distributions and three correlations between actual score and its related variable are all considered.

Naive Theories about Gravity among Korean Students (한국 학생들의 중력현상에 관한 유년적 사고)

  • 학생들은 수업전 그들의 일상적인 경험, 직접적인 관찰, 문화적인 배경으로 인하여 자연 현상에 관하여 과학자가 지니는 과학적 사고(Scientific theories)와는 다른 유년적 사고(Naive theories)을 지니고 있다는 사실이 연구에 의하여 보고되어 왔다. 본 연구는 중력현상에 관한 학생들의 유년적 사고(Naive theories)를 조사한 것이다. 이의 대상은 국민학생 49명, 중학생 53명, 고동학교 49명으로 하였다. 연구 방법으로는 질문지법(Open-ended written questions)과 면접법(Interview)을 이용하였다. 연구 결과는 국민학생에서 고등학생에 이르기까지 중력현상에 관하여 유년적 사고(Naive theories)를 지니고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 중력현상에 관한 유년적 사고(Naive theories)들은 중력 현상이 공기의 유무, 대기압, 마개의 유무, 물의 상태변화, 온도의 영향등으로 지배를 받는다고 설명하였으며, 이러한 생각은 고학년으로 갈수록 줄어들고 있음을 볼 수 있다. 질문지법(Open-ended written question)과 면접법(Interview)의 결과가 매우 일치하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

Qualitative Study on Local College Students' Perception of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Programs: Approach through Hierarchy of Effects Model (지방 대학생들의 창업 및 창업프로그램 인식에 관한 정성적 연구: 효과위계모형을 통한 접근)

  • Along with the government's policy to encourage youth entrepreneurship, each university is making great efforts to promote entrepreneurship, and university entrepreneurship programs can be said to be the most important part of supporting and activating college students' entrepreneurship. In order to increase interest in and participation in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship programs, it is necessary to take an in-depth look at students' perceptions of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship programs. Therefore, this study used the effectiveness hierarchy model to explore the perceptions of college students at each stage and to identify bottleneck factors that hinder participation in entrepreneurship programs. For this purpose, focus group interviews and in-depth interviews were conducted using samples with different levels of interest and participation in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship programs, and bottleneck factors at each stage of the effect hierarchy model were presented. The research results complement entrepreneurship research that was focused on quantitative research, and add important practical implications by approaching the study with a particular focus on local university cases.

Effects of a Yoga Program on School Stress of the Elementary School Children (요가 프로그램이 초등학생의 학교 스트레스에 미치는 효과)

  • The aim of this study is to examine effects of a yoga program for children on school stress of the elementary school children. To achieve this goal, total 10 students out of 231 in 6 classes among the third graders in M elementary school in B city were selected as subjects for this study. After regular school hours, they participated in a children's yoga program for 16 times for 45 minutes per session in the course of 8 weeks. An ethnographic interview was conducted to identify the effects of the program. During the initial stage of the children's yoga program, the participants were interviewed preliminarily. An analysis of areas and an analysis of classifications were made based on the initial interview results, and an area classification table was drawn on the school stress perceived by the elementary school children. After the yoga program ended, a follow up interview was made to apply an analysis of components by comparing changes in the school stress level due to a yoga effect. A research report was written through a cycle of addition and supplement in which the previous data analysis was complemented and corrected by new findings of the study. As a result of the ethnographic interview to analyze the school stress perceived by the elementary school children, and an examination of the changes in the school stress level, the children's yoga program proved to be significantly effective in reducing the school stress. However there were limitations to a certain degree in stress reduction. Details of such findings in each sub-category are as follow. First, as a result of the initial interview analysis, the school stress was classified broadly into 4 categories of study stress, friendship stress, teacher stress, and school environment stress. Second, the study stress as the first category of the school stress was classified into 3 sub-categories of homework, class, and exam stresses. In spite of minor differences among 3 sub-categories, the stress was reduced in general. Third, the friendship stress as the second category of the school stress was also classified into 3 sub-categories of bullying, alienation, and performing one's duty. There were minor differences among sub-categories, however stress reduction also appeared with the exception of the performing one's duty category which had relatively little effect from the yoga program. Fourth, regarding the teacher stress as the third school stress, a classification was made into 3 sub-categories of preference, penalty, and teaching method. Minor differences among the 3 sub-categories notwithstanding, stress reduction appeared with the exception of the teaching method stress which had relatively little effect from the yoga program. Fifth, the school environment stress as the fourth category of the school stress was classified into 2 sub-categories of school meals and facilities. Minor differences between the 2 categories notwithstanding, stress reduction appeared with the facilities stress having relatively little effect.

The Generating Processes of Scientific Emotion in the Generation of Biological Hypotheses (생물학 가설의 생성에서 나타난 과학적 감성의 생성 과정)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the generating processes of scientific emotion, that appears during the generation of biological hypotheses. To perform the study, a tentative model was set up through pilot test, a think-aloud training procedure was planned and a standardized interview instrument was developed before getting protocols. In this study, 8 college students were selected to bring out protocol through the method of think-aloud, retrospective debriefing, focused interview and observing. As the result of analysis of the collected protocol through coding scheme, 4 types of process for scientific emotion-generating were sorted out. First type was a basic process which was a feeling process in prior to recognition. Second type was a retrospective process that explains the process of retrospect for emotional memory based on the past. Third type was a cognitive process and it explains emotion that occurs during thinking process to achieve cognitive goal. Fourth type was an attribution process and it explains that emotion is generated in the process of attribution for cognitive goal's achievement. These types of process of scientific emotion-generating can contribute the basis for developing cognitive model of EBL (Emotional Brain-based Learning) strategy.

A study about the evaluation structure to visual environment of stairs in station-Comparison with old people and a young people- (역계단의 시환경 평가구조에 관한 연구 -고령자층과 젊은층의 비교-)

  • 본 연구는, 60세 이상의 고령자층과 20대의 청년층 피험자, 두 그룹을 대상으로 평가그리드법에 의한 면접조사을 실시하여, 고령자층과 청년층이 어떻게 계단 시환경을 평가하고 있는가, 즉, 고령자와 청년의 피험자 속성에 의한 평가구조의 차에 대해 고찰하였다. 면접조사 결과, 계단의 시환경평가구조모델이 작성되었으며 이 평가구조모델로부터 인상평가실험에 사용할 평가척도로써 20개의 형용사가 추출되었다. 또한, 고령자층과 청년층의 피험자는 <개방적인 면><심리적안심감의 면><기능적인 면><신체적인 면><디자인적인 면>의 크게 5가지 관점에서 계단 시환경을 평가하고 있는 것이 밝혀졌다. 그러나, 젊은층의 경우는, 전체에 걸쳐 항목의 수가 많고, 추상적인 항목에서부터 물리저긴 항목에 이르기까지 상세하게 대답하는 경향이 보였다. 고령자는 항목의 수가 전체적으로 적으며 특히 디자인측면에 관한 항목의 수가 젊은층에 비해 현저하게 적게 나타났다. 고령자의 경우는 신체적측면에 관한 항목이 상세하게 대답되어져, 계단의 시환경평가에 있어서 젊은층과 달리 신체적인 것을 강하게 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Analysis of Values and Design Elements in Eco-friendly Fashion Using an In-depth Interview (심층면접법을 이용한 친환경패션의 가치와 디자인요소 분석)

  • Excessive consumption, pollution, and am expanding global population are seen as very important issues that must be solved through reusable materials and the reduction of energy consumption. This study examines the values and design elements such as line, color, and textures in eco-friendly fashion that could contribute to the product development of an eco-friendly brand. The following methods of analysis were used in this study. An in-depth interview (where the interviewer records the response of interviewers to questions) was used to grasp the diverse design properties of products that customers need or want and the recorded interviews were documented by computer using open coding. The results show that the personal, economic, and social value of eco-friendly fashion has increased, in addition to the environmental value. The needs and preference of customers for eco-friendly fashion design were diversified and the consumer consciousness was more advanced than the consciousness of experts. This shows that it is not enough to consider the effect on the environment. In conclusion, understanding the personal, environmental, economic, and social value from the viewpoint of customers, finding the optimal design factors, and reflecting them in the development of products are necessary for advanced eco-friendly fashion.

A Stress Analysis on the Involute-Circular Arc Composite Tooth Profile Gear (인벌류우트-圓弧 合成齒形기어의 應力解析)

  • In a new involute-circular arc tooth profile which is composed of an involute curve in the vicinity of pitch point, a circular arc in the addendum part, and a curve in the dedendum part which is generated by the circular arc profile of mating gear tooth profile, the tooth contact stress is calculated analytically and the root fillet stress is calculated by the finite element analysis. The root fillet stress and the Hertzian contact stress of composite tooth profile gear are decreased with increasing the pressure angle and with decreasing the radius of circular arc and unwound angle. Compared with the standard involute gear, the root fillet stress is decreased by 2-15% and the Hertizian contact stress is decreased by 6-24%.

컴퓨터 교육의 문제점에 대한 실증적 연구

  • 정보화 시대에 살고있는 우리는 교육의 패러다임 변화요청에 부응하여 교사 중심의 교육 환경을 학습자 중심의 선택에 강조점을 두고 교육을 실시하여야 한다. 그리고 양질의 교육환경이 좋은 교육효과를 낳을 수 있다는 점에서 컴퓨터 교육 환경의 현황을 파악하고 그 개선 방향을 제시하는 것이 시의 적절한 연구라 할 것이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 전북 지역에 있는 고등학교를 대상으로 컴퓨터 교육의 환경과 그 실효성에 대한 자료조사를 설문지와 면접법을 통해 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 수업 만족도 , 전산실 사용 만족도를 중심으로 전체를 분석하고 인문계 고교와 실업계 고교 ,그리고 남학생과 여학생의 의견도 각각 분석하였다. 그 결과는 모든학생들이 컴퓨터 수업과 전산실 사용에 불만족을 느끼고 있었으며 주요한 이유는 컴퓨터 시설의 미흡과 컴퓨터를 전공한 전문 교사의 부족함등으로 나타났다. 결론으로 컴퓨터 교육을 활성화하기 위해서 정부는 교육용 컴퓨터보급, 교사용 컴퓨터보급, 교육용 소프트웨어 개발 보급영역, 컴퓨터 교육을 대학에서 4년동안 전공한 전문 교사의 현장배치의 시급함등 네 가지 부분에 주력해야 함을 제시한다.

Satisfaction with Housing , Community , and Living Environment - Comparison among Urban , Rural , and Fishing Village Residents - (지역별 주거만족도와 생활환경 만족도 - 도시 , 농촌, 어촌 지역 주민을 중심으로 -)

  • 본 연구에서는 도시, 농촌, 어촌지역 주민들의 주거만족도와 지역사회 및 생활환경 만족도를 비교 측정하고자 하였다. 이 연구의 특성은 지역을 하나의 통제변인으로 분석에 포함시켜 제변인들의 영향력의 방향과 정도를 파악하고자 하였다는 점이다. 자료는 1993년 6월 부터 1994년 6월 동안 488명의 주부를 대상으로 수집하였으며, 대구에 거주하는 주부 254명과 경북권내의 영천과 청도 등의 농촌지역에 거주하는 주부 124명, 그리고 한산도 섬내에 거주하는 주부 110명을 대상으로 각 가정을 방문하여 면접법을 실행하였다. 회귀분석을 실행한 결과, 주거만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인은 주거비와 주거소유형태였으며, 거주하고 있는 지역사회와 생활환경에 대한 만족도가 증가할수록 주거만족도도 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 지역을 고려할 때, 도시거주자의 주거만족도가 농촌이나 어촌거주자의 주거만족도 보다 높은 반면 지역사회에 대한 만족도와 생활환경 만족도는 농촌거주자와 어촌거주자가 도시거주자보다 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 지역을 고려한 주거정책 관련 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료로 이용될 수 있으리라 사료된다.
