Stress Stiffening Effect를 고려한 천마 연소관의 날개 부착부위 응력해석 기법연구

  • 본 연구에서는 얇은 마레이징강으로 제작된 천마 연소관에 브라켓이 용접되어 비행 날개를 볼트로 체결한 경우, 압력과 공력하중에 의해 브라켓 부위에 집중되는 응력의 해석기법을 정립하기 위하여 선형해석과 기하학적 비선형 해석을 수행하였다. 높은 압력에 의해 발생한 얇은 연소관의 면내 응력이 구조물의 강성을 증가시키는 응력의 강성보강효과(stress stiffening effect)를 고려한 기하학적 비선형 해석을 수행하여 선형해석 결과와 비교하였으며, 압력과 공력하중을 동시에 적용할 수 있는 복합하중시험기로 변형률을 측정하여 해석치의 정확성을 검토하였다. 얇은 연소관에 압력과 공력하중이 동시에 작용하는 경우는 응력의 강성보강효과를 고려한 기하학적 비선형 해석을 수행함으로써 보다 정확한 응력을 구할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.

Planar Free Vibrations of Catenary Arcs (현수 곡선부재의 면내 자유진동 해석)

  • The main purpose of this paper is to present both fundamental and some higher natural frequencies of catenary arcs. The differential equations governing planar free vibrations for these arcs are derived, in which the rotatory inertia is included, as non-dimensional forms and solved numerically to obtain frequencies and mode shapes. The hinged-hinged and clamped-clamped end constraints are applied in numerical examples. The lowest four natural frequencies are reported as the functions of non -dimensional system parameters; the slenderness ratio and the rise to span length ratio. The effects of rotatory inertia on natural frequencies are reported and some typical mode shapes are also presented.

Nonlinear Biaxial Shear Model for Fiber-Reinforced Cementitious Composite Panels (섬유보강 고인성 시멘트 복합체 패널의 2축 전단 비선형 모델)

  • The present study has been proposed a model for the in-plane shear behavior of reinforced(Engineered Cementitious Composite(ECC) panels under biaxial stress states. The model newly considers the high-ductile tensile characteristic of cracked ECC by its multiple micro-cracking mechanism, the compressive strain-softening characteristic of cracked ECC, and the shear transfer mechanism in the cracked interface of ECC element. A series of numerical analyses were performed, and the predicted curves were compared with experimental results. The proposed in-plane shear model, R-ECC-MCFT, was found to be well matched with the experimental results, and it was also demonstrated that reinforced ECC panel showed more improved in-plane shear strength and post peak behavior, in comparing with the conventional reinforced concrete panel.

In-plane Bending Moment Capacity of T-Joints in the Circular Hollow Section of New High Strength Steel Subjected to Cyclic Loadings (반복하중을 받는 고강도 원형강관의 T형 접합의 면내 휨모멘트 내력)

  • This paper presents the results of the systematic finite element analysis of the in-plane bending moment of T-joints subjected to cyclic loadings. T-joints were fabricated using high-strength, circular, hollow sections. Three-dimensional, nonlinear finite element models of the welded T-joints were constructed to investigate the strength, rotational-stiffness characteristics, and failure modes. A wide scope of structural behaviors explain the influence of the joint geometric parameters, such as the chord and brace wall slenderness ratios and the ratio of the brace to the chord diameter, as well as the yield strength ratios and compressive-chord-stress effects on the ultimate in-plane bending moment capacity of the T-joint.

  • An unsteadily propagating permeable crack in piezoelectric materials (PMs) under anti-plane shear mechanical loading and in-plane electric loading is studied. The equilibrium equations for a transiently propagating crack in a PM are developed, and the solutions on the stress and displacement fields for a permeable crack though an asymptotic analysis are obtained. The influences of piezoelectric constant, dielectric permittivity, time rate of change of the crack tip speed and time rate of change of stress intensity factor on the stress and displacement fields at the transiently propagating crack tip are explicitly clarified. By using the stress and displacements, the characteristics of the stress and displacement at a transiently propagating crack tip in a PM are discussed.

  • 본 논문에서는 표면효과와 비선형 탄성효과를 고려한 FCC 나노박막의 순차적 멀티스케일 해석 모델을 제시한다. 표면에서의 구성방정식은 표면응력과 표면탄성계수를 이용하여 선형으로 표시되며, 표면효과를 나타내기 위한 표면물성들은 EAM 포텐셜을 이용한 원자적 계산 방법으로 계산된다. 두께가 얇은 나노박막은 표면응력으로 인하여 면내 방향으로 수축 또는 인장의 변형이 발생하게 된다. 나노박막의 평형상태에서의 변형율은 두께가 얇은 박막의 경우 재료가 선형 탄성 영역을 벗어나는 값을 가지는 경우가 많으므로 나노박막의 해석시 벌크 영역의 비선형 탄성 효과를 고려해야 한다. 이러한 비선형 탄성 효과를 고려하기 위해 본 연구에서는 FCC 구조를 가지는 금속의 비선형 탄성 모델을 제시하고, EAM 포텐셜로 계산된 응력과 탄성 계수를 이용하여 매칭 기법을 통하여 비선형 탄성 모델의 계수들을 결정한다. 또한 Cauchy-Born Rule 모델과 분자동역학 전산모사를 통하여 본 연구에서 제안된 비선형 탄성 모델에 대한 검증을 수행한다.

Evaluation on In-plane Shear Strength of Lightweight Composite Panels (경량 복합패널의 면내 전단 성능 평가)

  • The number of natural disasters in Korea, such as earthquakes, is increasing. As a result, there is growing need for temporary residences or shelters for disaster conditions. The aim of this study was to produce post-disaster refugees housing differentiated from existing shelters using lightweight composite panels. To accomplish this, the structural performance of lightweight composite panels was validated, and an in-plane shear strength test was conducted according to the ASTM E72 criteria among the performance test methods for panels. As a result of the experiment, the maximum load for each specimen under an in-plane shear load was determined. All the experiments ended with the tear of the panel's skin section. The initial stiffness of the specimens was consistent with that predicted by the calculations. On the other hand, local crushing and tearing, as well as the characteristics of the panel, resulted in a decrease in stiffness and final failure. Specimens with an opening showed a difference in stiffness and strength from the basic experiment. The maximum load and the effective area were found to be proportional. Through this process, the allowable shear stress of the specimens was calculated and the average allowable shear stress was determined. The average ultimate shear stress of the lightweight composite panels was found to be $0.047N/mm^2$, which provides a criterion of judgement that could be used to expect the allowable load of lightweight composite panels.

Behavior of Stress and Deformation Generated by Repair Welding under Loading (공용중 보수용접에 의한 용접부의 응력 및 변형의 거동 - 인장력 작용중 균열보수용접에 의해 생기는 응력 및 변형의 거동 -)

  • It is much expected that steel bridges, which have been damaged by increase of vehicle load and corrosion, need repair or strengthening. In this paper, the stress generated by repair welding under loading are analyzed by three dimensional elasto-plastic analyses. The longer and deeper repair weld line bocemes, the larger the magnitude of transient stress becomes. The magnitude of transient stress generated by repair welding under loading $({\sigma}_y/3,\;{\sigma}_a)$ is similar to summation of stresses generated by repair welding and loading. The longer repair weld line ratio(1/b) becomes, the larger the magnitude of transient stress generated by repair welding under loading bocomes. And, the longer repair weld line ratio(1/b) becomes, the larger the magnitude of in-plane displacement generated by repair welding under loading$({\sigma}_y/3,\;{\sigma}_a)$.

  • 본 논문에서는 3차원 모델링을 이용하여 원공을 갖는 알루미늄 판의 패치 보강효과에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 구조물의 노후화로 인해 높은 응력을 받는 부재의 응력 특이점에서 내구력이 급격하게 저하되거나 때로는 부재의 정적파괴를 유발시키는 원인을 제공한다. 이로 인해 과거에는 손상된 모재에 보강 재료를 연결시키기 위하여 리벳 또는 볼트와 같은 기계적 연결을 통해 보강하였으나 최근에는 접착패치보강 기법이 그 주류를 이루고 있다. 패치 보강시 일면 패치 보강으로 인하여 면외 휨 효과가 발생된다. 판의 두께 방향에 따른 응력집중계수를 별도로 분석하였다. 기존의 3차원 솔리드 요소는 해의 정확성은 뛰어난 반면에 상당한 컴퓨터 시간을 요구하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 각 층의 변위장을 2차원 형상함수와 1차원 형상함수의 조합으로 구성하여, 면내거동에 대한 p-세분화와 면외거동에 대한 p-세분화를 분리시키는 방식을 취한다. 또한, 에너지 함수의 적분시 Gauss-Lobatto 적분법을 사용하여 절점의 위치에서의 응력점을 구하는 경우, 외삽과정을 계산하는 단계를 생략하면서도, 해의 정확성 측면에서는 거의 차이가 없기 때문에 좀 더 효율적인 수치적분이 될 수 있다.

Coupled Thermal/Structural Analysis of Mechanical Ablation by Domain/Boundary Decomposition Method (영역/경계 분할법을 적용한 기계적 삭마 과정의 열구조 연계 해석)

  • A coupled thermal/structural analysis of mechanical ablation is performed based on domain/boundary decomposition and finite element method. The ablative material non-linearity and boundary non-linearity can be easily localized within a few subdomains and/or on the boundary interfaces. An enthalpy method is applied to simplify the effect of heat of pyrolysis in the ablative subdomains. In addition, maximum in-plane shear stress is considered as a surface recession criterion for the mechanical ablation simulation. The basic characteristics of the proposed method are examined carefully through numerical experiments.
