  • 정확한 영상 검색을 지원하기 위해 다양한 데이터와 방법들을 통한 메타데이터 생성 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. 자막 데이터를 기존의 키워드 기반의 메타데이터 생성 방법을 이용했을 경우, 구어체, 불완전 문장의 특징을 가진 특징을 반영하는데 어려움이 있었다. 또한, 단순히 키워드 매칭에 의존하기 때문에 문장에 중의적 단어가 포함되어 있을 경우에 검색 정확도가 떨어진다는 한계점이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 문장 전체를 특정 단위로 표현한 메타데이터를 생성한다. 이를 위해 비지도 학습인 RNN-LSTM 기반 네트워크를 이용하여 자막을 인코딩하고 장면 지식으로 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험에서는 본 시스템을 통해 임의의 자막을 입력하고 유사도 기반의 결과 비교를 통해 자막 메타데이터의 정성적 평가를 수행하였다.

  • SOiVA는 양방향 동영상 서비스를 위한 TTA 정보통신 표준이다. SOiVA 서비스는 다양한 정보를 표현하기 위해 메타데이터를 이용하는데, 이 메타데이터에는 그 중요성 때문에 반드시 제 3자로부터 보호되어야 하는 내용이 포함되어 있다. 이 중 일부가 외부에 노출되거나 유실 조작될 경우 큰 문제를 야기할 수 있으므로 반드시 적합한 보안 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 전자서명과 암호화 등의 기술을 이용해 SOiVA 메타데이터 보안 시스템을 설계하고, 타당성을 검증하기 위해 시스템을 구현하고 예제메타데이터에 대하여 시험하였다.

  • Although organizing standardized metadata is important for effective management of cultural heritage information, current metadata are represented differently according to the properties of the resources or objectives of the organizations in which they are accumulated. This research compared 6 different metadata formats and created 18 data elements for constructing databases. A religious architecture heritage information database was constructed based on 72 historic religious architectures, each composing of three parts. An ontology based on religious architecture heritage information was designed using a revised CIDOC-CRM, and was developed with a semi-automated corpus program.

  • Study on the class using XMI Meta model and XML MetaDats has significant difference from the method of Data creation which is widely used. Most of MXL System are focusing on the editor funcition, Database connection and Generation of Markup language. Unlikelly, however, this study has focused on the creation of Markup language of Class MetaData which are extracted from MXI data modedl. In addition to that, the attribute of unit element within the class and the relationship between the classes within the model were set to be given and expressed respectively. For the generation of Markup language, XML schema was used to declare the detail data type.

  • The purpose of this study is to design metadata model for describing different kinds of concepts, properties, and semantic relationships of result materials of researches. We examine our metadata model to evaluate correctness and efficiency of the model through contents analysis of a constructed database. From the results of examination, we suggest more effective structure of metadata schema. Domain ontology could constructed by the enlarged thesaurus in order to overcome the limitation of the keyword search, therefore we design a philosophy and religion ontology based on subject classification to improve information retrieval and implement it using XML/Topic Maps to improve retrieval functionality of our database.

  • 본 연구는 메타버스의 정보전달 효과를 확인하기 위해 대면 대화 대비 메타버스의 정보전달 효용성을 비교 분석하였다. 대면 대화, 메타버스, 화상회의, 메신저앱 플랫폼을 독립변수로 하여 정보전달 효용성을 측정하였으며 설문조사로 구성된 1차 실험과 사후 행동 관찰을 실시한 2차 실험으로 나누어 실험하였다. 1차 실험에서는 유의미한 차이가 발견되지 않았으나 실험을 마치고 수 일이 지난 후 예고없이 실시한 2차 실험에서는 대면 대화와 화상회의가 높은 수치를 기록한 데에 반해 메타버스와 메신저앱은 유의미하게 낮은 수치를 기록하였다. 메타버스가 코로나시대에 사회적 공간제약을 극복하는 대체재로 쓰였으나 자유로운 대면 활동이 다시 가능해진다면 대면대화 대비 정보전달 효용성이 떨어질 수 있으므로 메타버스의 장단점을 충분히 이해하고 활용해야 할 것이다.

An Intelligent Image Retrieval System using XML (XML을 이용한 지능형 이미지 검색 시스템)

  • With the rapid development of internet technology, the number of internet users and the amount of multimedia information on the internet is ever increasing. Recently, the web sites, such as e-business sites and shopping mall sites, deal with lots of image information. As a result, it is required to support content- based image retrieval efficiently on such image data. This paper proposes an intelligent image retrieval system, which adopts XML, technology. To support object-based col)tent retrieval on product catalog images containing multiple objects, we describe a multi -level metadata structure which represents the local features, global features, and semantics of image data. To enable semantic-based and content-based retrieval on such image data, we design a XML-Schema for the proposed metadata and show how to represent such metadata using XML- documents. We also describe how to automatically transform the retrieval results into the forms suitable for the various user environments, such as web browser or mobile browser, using XSLT The proposed scheme can be easily implemented on any commercial platforms supporting XML technology. It can be utilized to enable efficient image metadata sharing between systems, and it will contribute in improving the retrieval correctness and the user's satisfaction on content-based e-catalog image retrieval.

  • Metaverse is one of the most frequently used words recently, with digitalization accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic that started in 2019 and the development of information and communication technology. It is expected to bring a new revolution in our life as a whole in user experience. In particular, as telecommuting was adopted in the business area, interest in virtual office services such as digital video conferencing and remote offices, which are similar to the metaverse, has also increased. In this study, a study on the intention to use the metaverse service used in the work environment was applied to the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2(UTAUT2). External variables for metaverse characteristics, such as self-presentation, telepresence, and technostress, were analyzed and discussed. In this study, PC-based Gather.town and VR-based Facebook Horizon, currently the most well-known and considered usable in work environments, were introduced to potential users and conducted a survey. This study has academic implications in that the research has examined the factors that affect the technology acceptance intention of users who want to apply the metaverse as a work environment based on the UTAUT2 model, unlike previous studies that have been mainly researched on the general metaverse. In practice, it may be helpful to suggest factors that should be considered when firms adopt the metaverse for business purposes.

  • The metaverse is a virtual world where individuals engage in social, economic, and cultural activities using avatars, which represent an alternate version of oneself within the virtual realm. While the metaverse has garnered global attention recently, research exploring the identity manifested through avatars within the metaverse remains limited. This study investigates the influence of four IT artifact characteristics related to avatar usage in the metaverse-avatar representation, avatar copresence, avatar profiling, and avatar-space interaction-on perceived avatar identity verification. A survey was conducted with 196 experienced users of the Zepeto platform, and hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. The analysis results indicate that the use of IT artifacts enabling avatar representation, avatar copresence, and avatar-space interaction has a positive impact on perceived avatar identity verification. This achieved self-verification indirectly influences the satisfaction and subsequent intention to continue using the metaverse. This study contributes to the academic field by empirically verifying the metaverse technological factors that influence the projected identity onto avatars within the metaverse. Furthermore, it is expected to provide effective guidelines for metaverse platform companies in designing and implementing the metaverse.
