A Study on Designing Metadata with Resource Description Framework for Internet Resources (RDF기반 인터넷 자원 메타데이터 설계에 관한 연구)

  • RDF treats all resources independently, that's integrated description model for internet resources description, that provides the model to connect resources that related with the specific resources. This article performs theoretical review of RDF model and syntax specification and RDF schema specification that's a common rule of semanics, structure and syntax those provides search and access in the area of dispersed information environment of internet and Dublin Core that's description element for build metadata. And with this way it's materialized metadata design, schema, DTD of Dublin Core element for building RDF-based metadata that is XML application.

메타분석에서 그룹화 임의효과 모형의 베이지안 해석

  • 본 논문은 의학분야에서 주로 사용되는 메타분석 중 그룹화 임의효과 모형(grouped random effects model)을 프라빗 연결함수(probit link function)를 이용하여 베이즈적 관점에서 연구하였다. 이때 프라빗 함수를 강요하기 위해 잠재변수를 정의하였고, 사전 분포를 달리한 세가지 모형을 고려하였다. 주어진 세가지 모형들에게서 적합한 모형 선택을 위하여 베이즈 인자(Bayes factor, BF)와 유사베이즈 인자(pseudo-Bayes factor, PsBF)를 이용하였다. 깁스샘플러와 메트로폴리스 알고리즘을 이용하여 베이지안 계산상의 어려움을 해결하였다. 예로써, 새로운 간질약에 대한 효과를 조사하기 위하여 앞에서 제시된 방법으로 해석하였다.

A Courseware Design using Metacognitive Strategy (메타인지 전략에 기반한 코스웨어 설계)

  • Most of a courseware evaluated negatively by short of instructional strategy to improve learning effects. Designing a courseware is a time-taking and challenging task. Therefore, a method is required that helps to easily design courseware that is effective to learning. This study proposed a method for designing and management courseware by utilizing a metacognitive strategy. We made a design the coursewase efficiently using concrete instructional model frameworks as metacognitive stragety and tried to improve the quality of courseware for learning effects. We applied our proposed method to teacher's college students in Korea who were taking the "Courseware Development" course. After analyzing it's effects, the responds can design courseware easily and monitor the design direction while their designing. Also, they can design the courseware systematically and implement detail instructional strategy by using concrete instruction model frameworks as metacognitive strategy. However, they were not easy to develop concrete instructional model frameworks at first and we need sharing it among the designers.

Study on Design of Protest Song Metadata based on OAIS Reference Model (OAIS 참조모형 기반 민중가요 메타데이터 설계에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to design folk song metadata based on the OAIS reference model for the folk songs' preservation and permanent use. Thus, the folk songs' general characteristics were investigated by researching literature and related technical standards. The type of records, the methods and standards for long-term storage of records, OAIS reference models, and each package's metadata elements were identified through opinions from the popular songs' creators and researchers. The results awere that first, folk songs were created for social transformation, serving as a cultural heritage different from popular songs given their noncommercial quality. Second, the types of folk song records were identified, and the long-term preservation system suitable for the types of records was based on the OAIS reference model. Third, the metadata were edited, and the OIS reference model was applied such that respect was given to the folk songs' characteristics, context, and original order. Fourth and last, information package metadata elements matching the folk songs' records were derived and applied to the representative Korean folk song, "The March for Being."

  • Recent IT (information technology) environmental changes, such as emerging social network services or increasing user participation in multimedia environment, have made it necessary for e-learning systems to undergo changes in various ways. Metadata is an agreement for interoperability between different systems. The standardization of metadata for e-learning system has been driven by some domestic and international organizations, but applying diverse environmental changes into the design of e-learning metadata is in dire need. In this paper, we present a methodology for the analysis and design of modeling e-learning metadata and elicit the design requirements, on the basis of the metadata standard KEM 3.0, about the elements that are expected to be needed in future e-learning systems. Based on the requirements from the analysis, we present the three-layer model for classifying the requirements by the importance of metadata elements per Kana Model. An intelligent e-learning system is to be developed based on the proposed modeling design, which we hope to influence the development of an international standard in the future.

A Study on Critical Angle of Metamaterial with Drude Model (Drude 모형 특성을 갖는 메타 물질의 임계각에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, the refraction angles and the critical angles of metamaterials which is assumed by the Drude model are analytically studied. To analyze the electromagnetic reflection and the transmission properties of metamaterial slab, we used "-1" for the permeability and the permittivity at 30 GHz in Drude model for metamaterials in this paper, respectively. Due to the variation of signes of material constants for frequency ranges in Drude model, the derived refraction angle and the critical angles for each frequency ranges are differently observed. The results in this paper show that the properties the refraction angles and the critical angles for the broadband in metamaterials can be used to understand the electromagnetic properties of metamaterials and microwave applications.

  • Recently the domestic construction companies have been occurred to the various demand of information. Also information quantity is increasing. But using information have been stated in low why large information quantity. The other side, the various Metadata have been proposing in the many field for an effective search and an application. So the Metadata for using construction information must be built. In this study, we have founded information of construction companies, present condition of information, concept of Metadata and recent report. And we have presented the Metadata system model and building process of information system. We have analyzed the Metadata element of construction. This study is the foundation for the Metadata using system.

  • This study analysed about to feasiblity of metaverse what it can be grantify the need of the current generation even though webtoon have limited environment and fixed story and if it possible, whether to some extent it possible. This study have direction it was set the needs of users centrically and was purposed to found a model for invigoration of webtoon market in metaverse to come. For this study, direction of development of metaverse, precedent study about metaverse and than analyzed it about based on grafted cases of metaverse and webtoon.

A Study on Preservation Metadata Elements for Digital Information Resources (디지털 정보자원을 위한 보존 메타데이터 요소 설정 연구)

  • Digital information resource requires detailed metadata to ensure its long-term preservation and accessibility for future generations. This paper illuminated the characteristics of digital information resources, the concept of digital preservation and the necessity of metadata for long-term preservation of digital information resources. And this paper examined the 16 elements of RLG metadata for preserving digital information and the Reference Model for an Open Archival Information System(OATS) to support the interoperability of digital archiving. And then this study investigated concretely element sets of the preservation metadata for digital information resources in the Cedars and OCLC/RLG embodied within the OAIS framework. As result of the study, the paper suggested basic plan required to provide preservation metadata elements to preserve digital information resources in Korea.

  • Today, the field that actively utilizes HMD, which is a representative implementation device of virtual reality, is game. We have frequently used interface design using metaphor to user interface of HMD based virtual reality game. The purpose of this study is to find out the metaphor types that appear in the game interface of the virtual reality FPS genre of HMD devices, which is a new medium. As a result of research, the metaphor types appearing on multiple interfaces have navigation, predictability-based, familiarizing, and physical world metaphor in terms of information perception and predictability-based and familiarizing metaphor in term of control action. It is considered possible to construct a correct mental model. It is expected that the stability-based metaphor to prevent user mistakes and the presentation metaphor to identify the identity of information space will be needed in the future.
