지난해 공정거래위원회 발표에 따르면 500개 이상의 가맹점을 가진 프랜차이즈만해도 10여 개에 이르며 일일 60여만 마리의 닭이 소비되는 국내치킨 시장 규모는 약 5조 원에 육박한다고 한다. 국내 치킨시장은 혼돈의 시대를 맞고 있다. 전국 5만여 개의 치킨체인점과 개인매장이 운영중에 있으며 다른 외식 상품에 비해 저렴하고 새로운 메뉴의 개발로 소비자의 다양한 기호를 만족시키고 있는 국내 치킨시장은 소비자들의 크나큰 인기로 급성장을 이루었으나 반면 수많은 브랜드가 쉽게 출시되고 소비자의 입맛을 맞추지 못하면 곧바로 퇴출되는 구조로 변화되었다.

국내 원자력발전소에서 발생한 발전정지 사건사례를 분석한 결과로써 획득한 고장원인, 문제점, 유사한 문제점 재발방지 방안 등의 분석정보를 효과적으로 공유하기 위한 발전정지사례 분석정보 시스템을 개발하고 있다. 이 시스템의 기반구조인 관계형 데이타베이스 화일들은 입력작업 지원 분류정보, 발전정지 사례분석정보, 검색작업 지원정보 둥의 저장을 위한 세가지 화일 그룹으로 나눌 수 있다. 각 그룹의 화일간에 정의된 상관관계성을 기반으로 발전정지사례 분석정보시스템의 입력, 검색, 출력작업이 수행된다. 시스템의 사용자는 제공되는 메뉴를 사용하여 관심있는 주제별로 데이타베이스에 저장된 발전정지사례 분석정보를 검색하고 출력할 수 있다.

The quality certification test is usually conducted by a certifying organization to determine and guarantee the quality of software after the software development phase, commonly without the actual source code, but with by going against the product's manual. In this paper, we implement a Manual-based Automatic Test data generating tool: MaT, the test technique based on manual, that automatizes producing the test data from analysis data of software package and manual. The input data of MaT are the result of the analysis of software and manual. We propose 'menu-based test analysis model' in order to generate the input data. We believe that the proposed technique and tool he]p improving quality and reliability of the software.

In this paper, we introduce a simulation tool for solar system using 3D animation tool MAYA. It accurately models solar system's astronomical features, such as each planet's orbital period, orbital speed, relative size, and texture, etc. This simulator visualize the solar system in 3D, which can be used to easily understands the system's positioning and astronomical movements. With a conventional Maya modeling process using menus and UI windows, it is difficult to assign correct physical attributes of planets. We use Python script to set up each planet's astronomical parameters. The proposed simulator is rendered as real as possible to be used for virtual reality and educational purpose.

Electronic reference service was defined as reference service designed for remote users and identified by a specific link from a library' website. This study examined whether academic libraries deliver web-based electronic reference services to remote users. Particularly, four types of electronic bulletin board services, free bulletin board, FAQ, Q＆A and reference question-response service were measured in terms of 8 types of questions and 12 contents of questions. The result showed that there was few differences among 4 services. Guidelines for effective use of electronic bulletin board services in academic libraries were suggested: standardization of service names, easy access to menu services, definition of each menu, search function for contents and standard web forms.

개방망은 망 접속을 표준화하여 망을 접근하도록 하는 technical interface의 공개측면과 망이 가지고 있는 망서비스를 공개하여 사용자로 하여금 선택적으로 이용할 수 있게 해주는 망서비스 공개 측면을 모두 고려하여 망구조를 실현해야 한다. 통신망은 망의 서비스 유형 및 일반적인 기능에 따라 음성급 전화망, 데이터망, 전용선망, 이동통신망 및 위성망으로 구분할 수 있으며, 이에 대한 망 접속은 각 망별로 또한 분유될 수 있다. 망서비스는 기술의 발전과 망진화에 따른 기술적인 요인, 고도통신 사업의 다양화에 따른 사업자 요구에 의한 요인, 그리고 시장수요 요인에 의해 계속 발전.진화되어지는 동적인 것이다. 개방망구조는 망서비스와 기술적인 접속을 주요 내용으로 하고 있기 때문에 이것도 역시 계속 진화되는 것으로 해석해야 한다. 본고에서는 개방망의 서비스 측면에서 해당교환 시스팀이나 전송시스팀이 제공가능한 서비스들로서 개방망구조의 서비스메뉴로 표현할 수 있는 것들을 각 망에 대해 자세히 파악하고자 한다. 이번 호에서는 그 두번째 내용으로서 데이터급 망과 전용선망에서 개방망 서비스로서 국내 교환시스팀과 미국의 ONA 일환으로 BOC가 제공 가능한 것들을 소개한다.

Today, the utilization of communication devices is being increased including information terminals, cell phones, handheld personal digital assistants (PDA) caused by the development of information and communication technology. The development of information and services is speeding up, whereas most communication devices have provided a inefficient hierarchical menu and sequential searching structure. In this study, the Adaptive User Interface is applied to the Bus Information Terminal(BIT) which is one of communication equipment installed in the bus stop. It will be based on analysis of unspecified individuals' preferences and user's directly personalization in the BIT prototype. We expect the results of this study to be possible to provide users with efficient and convenient information acquisition and contribute to the development of public transport use by improving the accessibility and usability of BIT.

An Integrated processing system for finite element structural analysis has been studied. It is designed to control integratedly the preprocessing, the execution and the postprocessing of a finite element structural analysis program on Windows. It becomes a better graphic user interface(GUI) for the concurrent representation of various inputs and outputs through the dialog-type on multi-windows by the multi-tasking and the object linking and embedding(OLE). Data input can be done easily through menus, dialog boxes and automatic stepwise inputs on the multiple windows, and then output results can be seen with input data on the same screen. Efficiency and validity of the system were examined by solving several numerical examples.

This study is directed for the development of a computer aided safety assessment system for agricultural irrigation structures. The developed system is composed of four subsystems that incorporate database, structural analysis, safety assessment, and postprocess, which are made to be interfaced systematically. It is developed in the user-friendly menu driving form with pull-down type interaction on a personal computer. The main algorithm for safety assessment of deteriorated structures utilizes a rational rating system based on the reliability method. From this study, it may be stated that the proposed rating and safety assessment system provide an effective tool and thus it can be widely used in practice for the assessment of safety and load carrying capacity of existing deteriorated or damaged agricultural irrigation structures.

This study is about the TV Electronic Program Guide (EPG) design to which Perceived Information Architecture (PIA) based on user-experience is applied. The function-oriented information architecture is not friendly for user to search channels, while Multi-channels of EPG system provides users with opportunities to select a variety of channels. Because the menu structure of EPG user interface system is not compatible with the user experience. Therefore, this study presented a user-experience-based methodology and proposed a new solution for the information architecture of user-centered EPG system design.
