Analysis of Factors for Adult Female Learners' Dropout in e-Learning (성인여성 대상 전자교육에서의 학습자 중도탈락 요인 분석)

  • 이 연구는 전자교육에서 성인여성 학습자를 중도탈락에 이르게 하는 요인을 도출하고, 이 중에서 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요인을 찾음으로써, 궁극적으로는 수료율을 제고하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 선행연구 분석을 통해 도출된 9가지 요인 중 어떤 요인이 중도탈락에 영향을 미치고, 그 영향력은 얼마인지 알아보기 위해 16개의 설문문항을 구성하여 K 기관의 교육생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 전자교육에서 성인여성 학습자의 중도탈락에 영향을 주는 요인은 결혼 여부, 내적 동기, 교육기관의 지원, 가사와 육아, 학습가능 시간 등 5가지로, 내적 동기, 학습가능 시간, 결혼 여부, 교육기관의 지원, 가사와 육아 순으로 중도탈락에 대한 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 학습진행 시 내적 동기의 만족도가 높을수록, 학습 시간의 부담이 적을수록, 미혼이며, 교육기관의 지원에 만족도가 높을수록, 또 가사와 육아에 부담이 적을수록 수료를 할 가능성이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 전자교육에서 성인여성 학습자의 수료율을 제고하기 위해서는 성인여성을 대상으로 한 전자교육 과정 운영 시 결혼 여부, 내적 동기, 교육기관의 지원, 가사와 육아, 학습가능 시간의 요인을 고려해야하며, 그 중 결혼 여부, 가사와 육아부담 등의 여성학습자의 일반적인 특성에 따른 중도탈락을 줄이기 위해서는 교육기관의 역할이 중요하다. 또한, 성인여성 학습자의 중도탈락에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 내적 동기 향상을 위해 과정설계 시 여성학습자 위주의 맞춤형 교수설계전략을 세우는 것이 중요하다. 성인여성 대상 전자교육에서의 학습자 중도탈락 요인들의 인과관계 및 그에 따른 영향력을 분석하는 연구를 통해 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 성인여성 학습자의 중도탈락을 줄일 수 있는 실증적인 방법론에 대한 연구를 통해 중도탈락률을 줄이는 것은 물론, 학업성취도 및 만족도를 높이고 나아가서는 여성의 사회진출을 도울 수 있는 연구가 필요하다.

The Priority Analysis on the Lifelong Education Enhancing Plan using AHP (AHP기법을 이용한 평생교육진흥기본계획 수립을 위한 정책 중요도 분석)

  • This paper reports the results of an in-depth study on sensitivity analysis based on promoting activities, the relative importance and priority setting in their sub-elements by AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. For this purpose, lifelong education experts, education administrators, lifelong educators from Daejeon lifelong education organizations participated in this Priority Analysis on the Lifelong Education Enhancing Plan using the AHP. The analysis resulted in the relative importance of promoting activities; 1) realizing of lifelong education system oriented by universities, 2) setting up the integrated online and offline lifelong education, 3) strengthening the lifelong education of local universities, 4) offering customized lifelong education by generation and target group, 5) strengthening the lifelong education of local governments, and 6) advancing the quality of lifelong education by focusing on the professionalism and transparency. This suggests that realization of a lifelong education system oriented by universities and the reorganization of an university system for adult learners have greater importance among other tasks and elements in carrying out the 3rd lifelong education enhancing plan.

기계학습을 활용한 중소기업 맞춤형 지식서비스 진단 및 처방 기술 연구

  • 많은 국가에서 중소기업의 기술혁신을 지원하기 위해서 다양한 직 간접적 지원 프로그램을 기획하고 운영한다. 이 연구는 R&D 투자 효율성을 제고하기 위한 간접 지원의 대표적인 사례 중에서 지식서비스, 특히 그중에서도 R&D 기획, 기술가치평가, 정보 지원 사업에 주목했다. 이 연구에서는 지식서비스의 일환으로 공공과 민간에서 다양하게 제공되고 있는 3가지 지원 사업을 대상으로 R&D 중소기업 중에서 수요 집단의 특징을 프로파일링 했다. 이런 프로파일링을 통해 기업의 해당 지식서비스 지원 적합성을 진단할 수 있는 계량적인 방법을 제안하고 나아가 이를 통한 처방 방법을 논의한다. 구체적인 연구 방법으로는 데이터 마이닝을 통한 분석 방법으로 수요 집단을 프로파일링 했으며, 전통적인 통계 방법인 판별분석 방법을 활용해서 구체적인 지식서비스 적합성 진단 모형을 제시했다. 본 연구에서는 특정 지식서비스 수요에 대한 중소기업의 특징을 프로파일링하기 위해서 설문정보를 활용했으며, 모형의 적정성을 검증하기 위해서 새로운 설문을 활용하는 등 총 6,600 기업에 대한 대규모 설문을 활용했다는데도 차별적 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 대규모 데이터를 바탕으로 한 중소기업에 대한 지식서비스 또는 R&D 진단과 처방 서비스를 제시해 중소기업과 정부 R&D 투자 효율성을 개선시키는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to consider the perception, which education-related workers and parents have, associated with guaranteeing the right to learn for youth migrants in Korea. The study was especially intended to analyze the opportunities and adaptions of youth migrants and make policy suggestions accordingly. To this purpose, this study implemented one-on-one in-depth interviews with research participants to collect and analyze data. This research yielded four categories: initial settlement, social security support as a fundamental right, learning rights guarantees, and psychological support. Also, seven subcategories were elicited. The suggestions based on results are followings: first, the legal basis for learning support for middle-aged adolescents; second, curriculum composition for school maladjusted middle-aged adolescents; third, individualized support system; fourth, the active promotion of support systems such as information provision; fifth, the diversification of policy for psychological stability.

Development and Application of Assessment Items for the Diagnosis of Difficulties in Learning Elementary Mathematics (초등학교 수학 학습 어려움 진단을 위한 평가 문항 개발 및 적용 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an assessment to diagnose difficulties in learning mathematics and misconstructions that elementary students have. With thorough theoretical background and analysis of mathematics curriculum documents, we established learning trajectories for the following content areas in grades 3 to 6: number and operation, regularity, data and chance, geometry, and measurement. Then, the research team created the assessment items targeting a specific stage in the learning trajectories and including item options to identify possible misconceptions. Based on the unified validity theory, we reported the detailed procedure of the assessment development and the evidence for the content, substance, and structural validity of the assessment. We collected the data of 675 elementary students. Rasch measurement modeling was applied, and Cronbach's alpha was estimated. We considered how to report students' assessment results to teachers appropriately and immediately, which suggested important implications for supporting teaching and learning mathematics in elementary schools. We also suggested how to use the assessment developed in this study in online and distance learning environments due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide customized experience learning service platform that enables consumers to easily search for various content information about on - site experiential learning, exhibitions, events, and culture, and to provide services. To provide customized experiential learning information that meets the requirements of the consumer. Beacon technology implemented through this study is a BLE technology that broadcasts a URL in Eddystone format developed by Google. This means that even if a user does not install a separate application, Making it easier and faster to access. Based on this, when the database of local cultural contents is completed, it will be expanded to the whole country, and it is expected that more diverse and high quality self - directed cultural contents experiential learning activity education programs will be provided to consumers by diversifying contents and expanding the market.

  • In this paper, we designed and proposed framework of extended user model to support student tailored learning in ubiquitous environment. For the purpose, existents model that is domain model, user model, adaptation model and interaction model connected to LMS(Learning Management System) and LCMS(Learning Contents Management System). Students information management process that is extended user model is in between LMS and adaptive learning system. And the process connected u-LMS to use u-learning. u-LMS and u-LCMS could support the learning contents through exchange the contents according to connect and request from the students.

Development of remedial learning program for vocational high school students focused on the area of change and relation (특성화고등학교 학생을 위한 수학과 진단평가 및 보정학습 자료 개발 연구 - '변화와 관계' 영역을 중심으로-)

  • The mathematical ability is an essential element for achieving professional competencies and for enhancing application ability in a vocational world and exploring its experiences. In this aspect, for vocational high school students, it is an important and urgent issue to develop remedial learning programs for developing mathematical basic and application ability. In particular, the program is developed based on the individual achievement level, focused on a mathematical basic ability to be applied efficiently in a vocational world. Because of this reason, in this study, the program is comprised of two phases; one is diagnosis test and the other is remedial teaching and learning materials. Then, diagnosis test includes three test; I) level testing evaluation for selecting the subject of remedial learning, ii) pre-test for deciding on which area and level of the materials when students begin to study, and iii) post-test for confirming the learning status is satisfied and the possibility of next step(level) or the other area of the materials. To accomplish this, this study tried to devise an efficient remedial learning system. Based on the system, this study developed remedial learning programs on the four areas of number and quantity, change and relation, uncertain thing, and figure and shape in the middle school level. In particular, this program is comprised of two types of knowledge. One is K-knowledge which is an essential knowledge to achieve a basic mathematical ability. The other is C-knowledge which is the advanced knowledge required to apply efficiently in a vocational world. This paper deals with the content mentioned above, but examples of the materials is shown focused on the area of change and relation.

A Study on the Effect of Using EBSmath on Self-Directed Math Learning of Students Living in the Farming Villages (EBSmath의 활용이 농촌학생들의 수학 자기주도적 학습에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • After government released the measures to reduce private tutoring and to advance math education, the Education Ministry carrying out projects to narrow the gap of education using ICT of the agricultural, mountain and fishing villages with 'ICT Supporting Business for the rural communities'. EBS(Educational Broadcasting System) also has established a website for self-directed math learning called EBSmath and offers various and customized services. This study has been conducted on how smartifact-assisted learning on EBSmath provided by 'ICT Supporting Business for the rural communities' will affect self-directed math learning of students. In other words, the purpose of this study is to see if students of the farming villages with poor surroundings of education using ICT can acquire knowledge for themselves and organize it systematically, and then they can finally produce new knowledge while they learn through EBSmath.

Kiosk training strategies based on IT educational App for older adults

  • Due to the fourth industrial revolution and the Corona19, the availability of digital devices such as kiosks is a matter directly related to survival for older adults with digital divide. This paper analyzes the problems of existing information service education for older adults and proposes an IT education strategy tailored to aging and life cycle of older adults. The proposed in this study is an educational application-based IT training method that supports repetitive learning regardless of time and place, developing kiosk function as a functional game-type educational application and experimenting with post-training effectiveness. The research method proposed UI usability evaluation frame for older adults, and developed educational applications based on proposed evaluation frame, and conducted kiosk education. As a result of the experiment, the mission success rate after using the IT application was 80.6%, which is a 55.1%P improvement compared to the pre-use(25.5%). This study confirmed that the proposed education for older adults is a way to overcome the limitations of existing IT education in the current situation.
