The Effects of Brand Personality of Internet Shopping Mall on Consumer Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit (인터넷 쇼핑몰의 브랜드 개성이 소비자 만족도와 재방문의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this following research is to verify influence of brand personality development of domestic Internet shopping malls on consumer satisfaction and intention to revisit. To achieve this purpose, a sample study was carried out on college students in Busan who made a purchase from Internet shopping malls during the past 6 months. In the concrete, 11 shopping malls including general shopping malls and open market that have a high market share were chosen as comparison targets. Materials were collected and analyzed through questionnaire survey. Empirical analysis results are shown as the following. Brand personality dimension of Internet shopping malls are 'competence sophistication', 'vitality', 'warmth' and 'reliability' etc. 'Warmth' and 'reliability' have a significant influence on consumer satisfaction and intention to revisit. In particular, 'reliability' showed bigger influence on intention to revisit Internet shopping malls. In addition, consumer satisfaction showed a meaningful influence on intention to revisit. Specific strategy development is needed to strengthen 'warmth' and 'reliability' among brand personality dimensions.

  • During the past years private brand sales in supermarkets grew more rapidly then manufacturer brands. Store brand products account for more than one-fifth of total volume sales in the United States and are outpacing national brand growth. The most compelling reason for this increased presence in the market is their price differential with national brands. A general tendency of store brand sales in Korea also is on the increase over the years. On the other hand there is something yet to learn in the field of private label. The research has resulted in consumers changing their perception of store brand products from one of low quality to one of premium quality. Reduced price is not the only answer for store brand to be survive. The new marketing approach should include better packaging improved quality and specific advertising and promotional programs designed to increase customer awareness and sales of store brand products.

A Study of Effect That Consumer Perception towards Visual Merchandising has on Brand Attitude and Purchase Intention - Focusing on Premium Supermarket in the Seoul Area - (시각적 상품전략에 대한 소비자인식이 브랜드 태도 및 구매 의도에 미치는 영향연구 - 서울지역 프리미엄 슈퍼마켓을 중심으로 -)

  • This study was conducted to examine what effect was produced on brand attitude and purchase intention by consumer attitude towards the visual merchandising of premium supermarket made using self-reported survey method during 1 Jun 2016 to 14 Jun 2016 as perceived by consumers who have experience in purchasing a product in premium supermarket located in Seoul. Result findings are follow. First there was significant influence between consumer perception and brand attitude (${\beta}=0.157$, p<.001) for harmony, ${\beta}=0.111$ (p<.01) for attractiveness, ${\beta}=0.639$ (p<.001) for suitability, and ${\beta}=0.146$ (p<.001) for trend), but credibility didn't have any effect on brand attitude. Second, according to the results of making a regression analysis in order to analyze an effect that brand attitude had on purchase intention, the brand attitude had a significantly positive (+) effect on purchase intention (${\beta}=0.818$, p<.001). Third, the influence on purchase intention by consumer attitude towards the visual merchandising of premium supermarket was verified (${\beta}=0.181$, p<.001) for attractiveness, ${\beta}=0.520$ (p<.001) for suitability, ${\beta}=0.325$ (p<.001) for trend), and the harmony and credibility didn't have any effect on purchase intention in current study.

  • The rapid spread of Internet has significant effects on changes in the distribution channel. The direct transaction between manufacturer and consumer could create the threats of dis-intermediation to existing channel members as middlemen. Air-ticket market also has changed in Internet marketing channel era. This study is mainly concerned with understanding the reaction of travel agency to Internet marketing channel. The objectives of this study is to propose and test the model that the perceived threats of dis-intermediation affect the reactions of travel agency: increasing channel competence, decreasing concentration, and deriving diversification. The model basically adopted the arguments of intertype competition, considering the arguments of re- intermediation in order to explain the reaction of using Internet. The result of survey from 158 travel agencies supported most of hypotheses. All the hypotheses are accepted except the relationship between threats of dis-intermediation and increasing channel competence.

  • This article aims to overview the present condition of the film festival, as one of the cultural policies for regional development, and draw up a plan for them, focused on PIFF and JIFF. Pusan and Jeonju have their own movie infrastructure and each festivals has a distinction as to property and purpose. But, for the festivals to be successful continuously, more regionally suitable and unique events are needed. In case of PIFF, it is required that the promoter should highlight regional characteristics of Pusan, by dint of implementation of programs, centered on people's active participation in the festival; regarding JIFF, for Jeonju to be a mecca of media industry, long-term plans and policies are to be made. The plans for revitalization of International film festival, as local cultural festival, are as follows; good use of local place as movie location, development of relevant contents, formation of regional networking, and cultivation of local human resource.

  • As a result of New media that affects the marketing system, it is appeared a new marketing system called Market Platform in terms of market governance of trading. Market Platform is a new marketing system for ideal market system through the community structure from a hierarchy structure. It is determined that Market Platform as the role of adjustment of each side of market, buyer and seller, developed an existing marketing system. In this study, to target the Market Platform has recently emerged as the center of the market management in the new media environment. This study investigates what characteristics and impact of infrastructure of Market Platform will affect the cognitive impact on both buyers and sellers to clarify the impact on the self efficacy of the shopping process. Through this investigation, modeling for the impact that new media environment will attract Market Platform will be developed from the investigation of attractiveness of mobile market platform environment. Changes in the technical media environment gave the characteristics of the customer in the market platform, so consumers could involve not only consumed, but also manufactured. Thus, it is possible to increase the attractiveness if market must be able to not only for the convenience of shopping, but also make people to enjoy the experience of value co-creation. In other words, the new media, as a result of affecting the marketing system, mobile market platform is organized around the market of communication base. Network centrality, visible openness, ubiquitous multiplexity, 3 properties of new media increase the market self-efficacy of their customers. Therefore, the structure of market platform that enhance self-efficacy has higher attractiveness.

  • After 1970-80's rapid economic and urban development, nowadays the old downtown suffers from the deterioration of physical environment, outflow of its function and cavitation of population. And this phenomenon makes urban regeneration as a new paradigm in urban development. This is the case of Myeongdong area (Jungang-dong, Monsung-dong), old downtown of Cheonan around rail station, in the same way. City government has tried many regeneration/ redevelopment projects on this area but all failed due to lack of feasibility. This study intends to suggest new viable strategic regeneration scheme of this area through research and analysis of TOD development, existing condition and problems. As a result, the area needs to be considered as a node that links bus terminal complex and central market place with walkable street. For regeneration of this area, a strategic development scheme of this area is suggested deploying private capital invested rail station, underground shopping mall, transfer center, culture complex and nature park with Myeongdong street mall.

A Study on the Development of Product Planning Prediction Model Using Logistic Regression Algorithm (로지스틱 회귀 알고리즘을 활용한 상품 기획 예측 모형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to propose a product planning prediction model using logistic regression algorithm to predict seasonal factors and rapidly changing product trends. First, we collected unstructured data of consumers in portal sites and online markets using web crawling, and analyzed meaningful information about products through preprocessing for transformation of standardized data. The datasets of 11,200 were analyzed by Logistic Regression to analyze consumer satisfaction, frequency analysis, and advantages and disadvantages of products. The result of analysis showed that the satisfaction of consumers was 92% and the defective issues of products were confirmed through frequency analysis. The results of analysis on the use satisfaction, system efficiency, and system effectiveness items of the developed product planning prediction program showed that the satisfaction was high. Defective issues are very meaningful data in that they provide information necessary for quickly recognizing the current problem of products and establishing improvement strategies.

  • The game policy in China takes the way of promoting the development of domestic enterprises through protecting the growth of those. In order to improve the development of domestic game industry, it will maintain the policy that restrict the import of overseas game. However, as to the domestic enterprise, it will develop the aid policy in the form of encouraging overseas export. Style Types and Design Features of Sneakers using the Knitted Upper (니트 갑피를 활용한 스니커즈의 스타일 유형 및 디자인 특성)

  • This study aims to propose the directions of design strategies and product development by analyzing the style types and design features of sneakers using the knitted upper which has been rapidly increasing due to merits in a variety of aspects including goods, production and marketing aspects. To this end, this study analyzed total 924 style types which had been gaining popularity in online markets and brand products drawing attention in the sneaker market with the knitted upper and their design features. In accordance with the analysis results, uniqueness was identified as the first merit. The unique hybrid style and design of sneakers with the knitted upper have been established without complying with the conventional materials and production techniques. The next merit was multimodality. The sneakers with the knitted upper create multiple images highlighting each feature of colors and materials by mixing those elements in various ways. The third merit was experimentality. The sneakers with the knitted upper have been attempted decisive change of designs by combining more engineering approach and new materials and techniques than existing sneakers. In these days when the sneaker market has been gradually expanded, the analysis results of this study reflecting the industrial trends will provide the fundamental data for a variety of research activities related to shoes and for the direction of brand planning in the relevant industries.
