마음의 감기 우울증 한방으로 다스리기

  • 우울증은 슬프거나 울적한 느낌이 신체에까지 영향을 끼쳐 개인이나 사회생활에 장애를 초래하는 것을 의미한다. 한의학에서는 이를 기울(氣鬱)이라 하며 억압되고 침울한 마음으로 생리기능이 침체되는 현상으로 이해하고 있다. 우울증을 바로 알고 예방하며 즐거운 마음을 갖고 건강한 생활이 되도록 해보자.

Theory of Mind in Old Age: A Review from a Neurocognitive Perspective (노년기의 마음이론: 신경인지적 접근)

  • Theory of mind (ToM) is the ability to infer one's own and other people's mental states such as beliefs, desires, and intentions. Although the majority of research in ToM has focused on young children or autistic individuals, several studies have investigated ToM in normal old age and in the demented elderly. This article provides an overview on existent findings of theory of mind in aging populations and suggests future directions for research including applying neuroimaging techniques and real-life tasks. It is still unclear how ToM in aging is associated with other aspects of cognition. However, it is expected that ToM perspective on aging will increase our understanding of aging of cognition and social functioning.

The Effect of Theory of Mind on the Story Sharing With Picture Books (마음이론 내용이 포함된 그림책을 활용한 이야기나누기 활동이 유아의 마음이론 발달과 조망수용능력에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the development of theory of mind on the story sharing with picture books. The subject of this study is 38 five years olds children who are attending C kindergarten in J city, Jeollabuk-do province. It was executed that an twelve sections of storytelling with picture books during six weeks. The storytelling activities were performed with predicting and listening of picture book contents, problem situation knowing and story sharing, feeling of the character mind condition, and activities evaluating. The results were as follows. First, the story sharing with picture books were significantly different between the groups on the development of mind. Second, the story sharing with picture books including theory of mind were effective on the perspective taking ability. The results showed that the story sharing with picture books was effective teaching and learning method.

  • This article aims to suggest a principle frame and direction for the development of the character education program using Maumgram. Maumgram is said to clearly illustrate step-by-step structures of character education, for which the human mind is classified as four types(indulged type, rage-type, competition type, selfishness type) on the basis of the existing analytical psychology and Yogacara Thought. The design of the mind type program is composed of three steps. The first step is the 'discovery' step to awaken the cause of self-consciousness through observation, and the second is the 'conversion' step. Learning process to control the negative desires in a positive desire, and the third is the 'relationship'-oriented step to promote a sense of community with other people.

  • In this paper I undertake to define what is mind, as a partial project of the philosophical foundation of the Mind Humanities. To this end I ask myself, where can be found the field, to which the various or whole psychological concepts and discourses generally relate, and then I identify the correct field to be the field of existential activities of human beings as being-in-the-world. When human beings as being-in-the-world live their lives, her life is built up out of the internal biological activities, the worlds of space and time, and actions. While the various scenes of individual life of man produced by a dynamic coordination of those worldly components, the basis of the mechanism of that coordination is explained by a biological model of self-sufficiency system that I developed here. On the basis of this model, I show step by step, how and through which (logical) way organisms configures their living, as it is. With respect to those steps of the life-construction of the organism, or in light of each step corresponding to each configuration, I construct different types of mind, i.e. impulsive mind, manipulative mind, meta-mind, collective consciousness/mind and finally personality, while every mind is further subdivided. Finally, I define mind, in light of its function in human life and with respect to the generalized sense of the whole processes as outlined above, as an organ which weaves (above mentioned) worldly components to Dasein, and sublimates and expands it to a better living.

The Effectiveness of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy-Korean (MBCT-K) for Anxiety and Depression in Patients with Anxiety Disorder (한국형 마음챙김 명상에 기초한 인지 치료가 불안 장애 환자의 불안과 우울에 미치는 효과 비교)

  • The objective of this study was to examine the effectiveness of newly developed program for the recovery and relapse prevention in patients with anxiety disorder. Twenty-four patients with anxiety disorder received Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) session weekly for a period of overall 8 weeks-program. Changes of depression, anxiety, negative and positive automatic thought were compared before and after the program. Depression and anxiety were improved significantly after the MBCT program(Z=-1.9, p=.06, Z=-2.9, p<.001). Conclusions: MBCT may be effective at reducing negative automatic thought and relieving anxiety and depressive symptoms in patients with anxiety disorder. However, large-sample, randomized controlled trials will be needed for generalization.

  • 오늘날 화장품 산업은 역동적으로 끊임없이 변화하고 있다. 화장품은 한 사회 구성원들의 다양한 욕구, 가치관 및 생할양식에 영향을 미치며 심지어는 국가의 정치적 기후나 경제적인 상태를 나타내는 지표역할을 담당하기도 한다. 즉, 화장품 과학은 예방의학, 건강과학이라는 차원에서 뿐만 아니라 미적인 차원에서 새로운 상품개발이 진행되어갈 것이다. 지금 우리는 21세기를 향하여 1990년대의 중반기에 들어섰다. 80년대는 물질 문명의 중심으로 생활의 질의 풍요로움을 추구하였으나 90년대는 소비자 우선의 풍요로움을 향수하는 시대가 되었다. 또한 여성이 사회진출, 고령화의 급속한 진전, 고 학력화, 개인의 가치관 존중 및 많은 생활패턴의 변화가 마음의 풍요로움을 구하는 사람들이 늘어나고 물질적 의존도로 부터의 탈피가 크게 강조되고 있다. 이에 마음의 풍요로움을 창조하여 연출하는 화장품산업의 역할이 고기능성에 의한 부가가치를 높이고 마음의 풍요로움을 지원하기 위한 연구개발에 중점을 두고 진행되어 가고 있다. 화장품을 여성들의 치장이라고 하는 주체적 행위에 도움을 주는 하드웨어라고 한다면 소비자의 마음은 소프트웨어로써 소비자 입장에서 만족할 수 있는 전략을 구사하는 아이디어가 있어야 하는데 그에 상응하는 대책으로 스킨케어를 들 수 있다. 스킨케어란 병든 피부를 제외한 여러 가지 유형의 피부를 화장품과 미용기기를 이용하여 그에 맞게 예방관리 하여 건강하고 아름답게 보호 유지하는 전문 분야이다. 즉, 스킨케어는 화장품 이용을 통하여 미래의 소비자들의 다양한 비용 욕구 및 소망에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 소프트웨어라고 할 수 있다., 또한 스킨케어는 화장품 뿐만 아니라 신체적 접촉을 통하여 안위를 제공하는 수단으로 단순한 피부손질이라는 문제에 그치지 않고 접촉을 통해 마음과 신체의 균형을 꾀하는 생명현상의 심층과 연관되는 중요한 의미가 있다. 스킨케어는 불어로 Soin Esthetique 라고 하는데 어원을 보면 손질, 처치, 보살핌 그리고 배려를 의미한다. 지금으로부터 200년전 독일의 미학자인 Baumgarten이 미는 인간에게 만족과 쾌감을 주는 대상이며 미는 보는 사람의 마음에 있다라는 감성의 미학에서 Esthetique라는 단어를 처음 사용했다. 다시 말하면 Soim Esthetique는 인간의 마음 만족과 쾌감을 주는 배려 있는 조치로써 여성이 화장을 함으로써 외모의 조화에서 마음과 신체의 균형을 꾀하는 생명현상의 심층과 연관되는 것과 마찬가지로 에스테틱과 화장의 심리는 매우 땔래야 땔 수 없는 불과분의 밀접한 관계라 볼 수 있다.

A Bibliographical Research on 'Musim' Presented by Baegun Hwasang (백운화상의 '무심(無心)'에 관한 서지적 연구)

  • In this study, the concept of 'Musim' presented by Baegun Hwasang was analyzed from the viewpoint of a bibliography. Major findings are as follows: First, it is reasonable to translate 'Musim' into Korean to mean (1) 'free from cares', (2) 'there is noting called a heart', and (3) 'no anxieties' according to the context of praises. Second, Musim by Baegun means 'calm mind without any trembles in ordinary times', 'unload any worries', and 'the spirit of awakening'. Such concepts of Musim agree with the praises of 'Awakening by seeing through a person's own heart' presented by Dalma Josa, and 'Unloading any worries' presented by Buddha. Therefore it is understood that Musim is the mental state of 'being free from cares which seek and hold', and Baegun Hwasang presents his experiential awakening 'by keeping his mind calm without any trembles in ordinary times, unloading any worries, and freeing himself from cares'. Third, it is confirmed that Musim by Baegun when compared with the praises presented by 'Gwageo 7 Buls' and 'Seocheon 6 Josas' in Jikji, firmly holds the ideas of Buddha's 'Unloading any worries' and Seocheon Josa's 'Neutral perspective based on double negations'. Therefore, Baegun Hwasang's 'Musimseon' which especially emphasizes 'Musim' is the method of meditation which most clearly inherited the nature of Dalma Seonjong or Yukjo Hyeneung, and Imjejong's meditation.
