This study was conducted to investigate yearly changes of weeds occurring in orchard and to evaluate an effect of continuous herbicide application on weed population in apple fields. Digitaria sanguinalis, Cephalonoplos segetum, Calystegia hederacea, Polygonum aviculare, Echinochloa crus-galli, and Portulaca oleracea were observed to be the problem weeds in orchard with yearly similar species for a three-year, showing D. sanguinalis was single dominant species for a three-year experimental period. An increase of Simpson's index from 0.22 in the first year to 0.33 in the 3 rd year was observed in the oxyfluorfen treated plot, indicating that most of the weed species were well controlled, while in the untreated plot, D. sanguinalis was relatively single dominant species showing Simpson's index, 0.56 in the 1st year and decreased to 0.32 in the 3 rd year meaning diversification of weed species, and the same trend was also observed in community dominance. Dissimilarity coefficient, 41.6, observed in the weed populations of 1st year and 2nd year, increased up to 58.8 between 1st year and 3 rd year's weed populations in the oxyfluorfen treated plot, indicating that weed community was greatly affected by oxyfluorfen treatment. Based on 3 year's dry weight oxyfluorfen treatment controlled 95 % of weeds such as $149.3g/m^2$ dry weight in the untreated control plot, with a little yearly changes of dry weight. Composition of perennial and biennial weeds was about 59% in the herbicide treated plots and 30% in the untreated control, showing a relative increase of these weeds in the treated plot. However, total dry weight of these weeds was markedly low, showing less than 5% of the untreated one. An annual, D. sanguinalis composed of 70% of total dry weight in the untreated control.
Communication is one of 6 core competencies suggested newly in mathematics curriculum revised in 2015 in Korea. Also, it's importance has been emphasized through NCTM and CCSSI. By the subject of Mathematics in Context(MiC) textbook, this study planned to explore the communication elements according to the types of communication such as discourse, representation, operation. Namely, this study dealt with 316 questions in a total of 34 tasks relevant to function content in the MiC textbook, and this study explored the communication elements on the questions of each task. To accomplish this, this study first of all was to reconstruct and establish an analytic framework, on the basis of 'D.R.O.C type' of communication developed by Kim & Pang in 2010. In addition, based on the achievement standards of function domain in mathematics curriculum revised in 2015 in Korea, this study basically compared with the function content included in MiC textbook and Korean mathematics curriculum document. Also, it tried to explore the distribution of communication elements according to the types of communication.
In order to obtain the reference data to be used as an vegetation index for degree of desalinization, vegetation successions were surveyed and soil chemical characteristics were analyzed at the naturally maintained plot in Dae-Ho reclaimed land. Seven Groups $(A\;{\sim}\;G\;group)$ were classified as major vegetation; A group (Suaeda asparagoides MAKINO etc.), B group ( Aster tripolium L. etc.), C group (Stearia viridis L. BEAUV), D group ( Phragmites longivalvis STEUD), E group (Limonium tettagonum THUMB A. A. BULLOCK), F group (Trifolium repens L.), G group (Zoysia sinca HANCE etc.). As desalinization process proceeded, the wild vegetation changed in order of $A\;{\to}\;B\;group$, $D\;{\to}\;C\;group$, $E\;{\to}\;F$, G group. Soil texture of the naturally maintained plot was silt loam and soil fertility was very low compared with agricultural cultivated soil. Soil pH ranged from 7.0 to 8.0. Electrical conductivity (ECe) was below 10 and $20\;dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ at top and subsoil, respectively, except the plot where A group were growing. Resulting from SAR and ECe, The plot where A group was growing was saline-sodic soil and the others were saline soil. The relation between vegetation sucession and soil desalinization showed that vegation appeared under $10\;dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ of ECe and 15 of SAR except A group.
This study is to investigate the change of intelligent and affective domains through the student self-evaluation to identify causes of wrong answers. Through this evaluation, students could have opportunities to solve the given mathematical problems basically and to reflect their problem-solving process, and further to recognize which mathematical content(concepts or expressions, symbols, etc.) led them to solve the problems incorrectly or wrong. Through this process, they would correct their wrong process and answers and to reinforce the prerequisite knowledges relevant to the problems, and furthermore, to enhance problem-solving abilities. To accomplish this, this study was executed as a case study on the subject of four tenth graders. The subject consisted of two boys and two girls. In this study, three essay types of mathematical problems in tenth grade level were chosen from several domestic tests in Korea. Based on the original three essay type of problems, three types of similar problems, namely equivalent problem, similar problem, and isomorphic problems were reconstructed, respectively by the researchers. The subjects were guided to solve the original three problems, and they corrected their wrong parts of the first problem of the three problems. They solved an equivalent problem of the first problem and executed self evaluation and also corrected wrong parts. Next, they dealt with a similar problem of the first problem and executed self evaluation and also corrected wrong parts. Next, while dealing with an isomorphic problem of the first problem, the subjects did the same things. Thus, for the second and third original problems, the study was implemented in the same way. To explore their intelligent and affective domains through student self-evaluation in-depth, the subjects were interviewed formally before and after conducting the experiment and interviewed informally two times, and the recordings were audio-typed.
Asarum consists of low-growing herbs and is a genus in the Aristolochiaceae family with species found in the north temperate zones with most species in Asia. We evaluated the nine taxa with the trnL - trnT region of the chloroplast genome to estimate phenotypic relationships within genus Asarum in Korea. Alignment of the DNA sequences required the addition of numerous gaps. Sequence variation within the Asarum was mostly due to nucleotide inserts/deletions, although several indels and inserts were found. Another source of sequence divergence was length variation due to stretches of short repeats that occur at the trnL - trnT region in all the Asarum. A + T content for nine Korean species of genus Asarum ranged between 74.7% and 78.3%. These values were higher than those for the angiosperm alignments of the total trnL and trnT region (64.5~67.1%). Within genus Asarum, A. patens was strikingly different from the others in the three phylogenetic analyses (MP, ML, and NJ). However, some internal nodes were poorly supported. Within Korean Asarum, four species were unsolved portions. Possible reasons for the striking non-congruence between the previous morphological traits and the trnL - trnT based on phylogeny were discussed.

Weed species belonging to the broadleaf family prevailed in the experimental sites followed by Cyperucea and grass family. In terms of life cycle, the dominant weed species were the perennial weeds rather than annual weeds. Most of weeds were emerged between 30-60days after transplanting in Chuncheon and between 40-60 days after transplanting in Hongcheon and Hoengseong areas. Among agronomic characteristics of rice affected by weed emergence were decrease of plant height by 2-4㎝, panicle number by 1.3-2.9, spkelet by 3. 7-7.5, ripening rates by 3.3-6.5%, and milled yield by 12-17%.

Experiment was conducted to establish the weed control system on the paddy fields by investigating species, period and amount of weeds in Gangwon province. Four locations were selected for these experiments : West plain area, Chunchon(74m above the sea level), mid-mountainous area, Hongchon(300 m), high alpine area, Hoengsong(450m), and east sea area, Myungju(14m). Weed emergence was investigated 6 times from 10 days after transplanting to 60 days with 10 days interval. From the experiments stated above, the results were summarized as follows ; The identity of weed species was small in grass family, but broad-leaf family was numerous. Also the dominant weed species was generally the perenial weeds. The weed emergence was initiated from 10 days after translanting. The amounts of weed counted the most in Chunchon. A large number of weeds were emerged between 30-60 days after transplanting in Chunchon and between 40-60 days after transplanting in Hongchon and Hoengsong. Among agronomic characteristics affected by weed emergence during rice development, plant height was decreased by 2~4cm, panicle number by 1.3~2.9, spikelet by 3.7~7.5, ripening rates 3.3~6.5%, and milled yield by 12~17%, respectively.

This study was conducted to survey vegetation changes and soil characteristics in Saemangeum new reclaimed tidal land. Soil salinity in border area to tidal land was 22.3 dS $m^{-1}$ but showed 1.1~3.44 dS $m^{-1}$ over the distance of 2 km from border line. The vascular plants in survey sites were recorded as total 26 taxa in 6 families. The frequency of species appearance of Aster tripolium, A. subulatus var. sandwicensis were highest by 61.5 and that of Phragmites communis, Puccinellia nipponica were 53.8. The almost vegetations occurred in the patch which range of soil salinity 14 dS $m^{-1}$ were halophytes as Salicornia europaea, Suaeda asparagoides, S. japonica. As lowed soil salinity as 6.7 dS $m^{-1}$, mixed vegetation of halophytes with P. communis, P. nipponica, Carex pumila were occurred. Dominant species in the range of 3.0 dS $m^{-1}$ area were A. subulatus var. sandwicensis, P. communis, Echinochloa spp., Zoysia sinica and Conyza canadensis. Biomass production was the highest in the area of dominant vegetation with P. communis, and mixed zone with P. communis and Aeschynomene indica are followed. The correlation between vegetation biomass and soil salinity, soil pH and dominance index of vegetation were negative. But that of vegetation biomass and soil organic content were positive.
The objectives of this study were to evaluate no-tillage cover crop cropping systems for organic farming in paddy. The experiment was performed at Ihyeon series (silt loam: 9.1% sand, 73.0% silt and 17.9% clay) which affected by different management practices. Planthopper population per 20 plant was significantly higher 65.3 for conventional tillage with chemical compounds (control) compared with 3.4~9.6 for no-tillage treatments (without rice straw or green manure, amended with rice straw, hairy vetch, rape, rye, and Chinese milk vetch). Also, disease severity of sheath blight was significantly higher 10.5% for control compared to 0.7~2.9% for no-tillage treatments. Four weed species, namely Monochoria vaginalis, Ludwigia prostrata, Rotala indica, and Aneilema keisak occurred in no-tillage paddy, whereas Monochoria vaginalis occurred in control only. The pH, available phosphate, and microbial biomass C in paddy were steeply decreased in response to submerging, but increased at first heading stage. Soil $NH_4$-N content at first heading stage was significantly higher in no-tillage treatments compared with control. The grain yield was significantly higher in 4.30 Mg $ha^{-1}$ for control than other treatments. Meanwhile, rice productivity was significantly higher in 2.69 Mg $ha^{-1}$ for no-tillage amended with Chinese milk vetch compared to other no-tillage treatments. The number of panicle per plant, grain number perpanicle, and percent ripened grain were highly related for increasing the yield of rice. These results show that Chinese milk vetch was optimum cover crop for organic farming in no-tillage paddy.
