FOC를 이용한 PMLSM의 디텐트력 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Detent Force Reduction of PMLSM Using FOC)

  • 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기(PMLSM)의 detent force는 입력전류가 가해지지 않은 상태에서의 영구자석과 철심간의 상호 작용에 의하여 발생된다. 이는 고정자에 관한 이동자의 위치 함수로서 표현 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 이동자의 위치에 따른 detent force를 측정하고, 이를 바탕으로 PMLSM 추력 리플의 원인이 되는 detent force를 저감하기 위한 보상법이 추가된 Field Oriented Control(FOC)을 제안하였다. 또한, 동일한 상황에서의 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 제안된 제어법의 유효성을 입증하였다.

  • There is an intensifying demand fur linear motors in vast range of industry applications such as in factory automation and semi-conductor manufacturing equipment due to their high positioning accuracy, high static stiffness, high thrust and excellent dynamic characteristics. This paper presents an iron core type linear motor for machine tool whose rated thrust is up to 6000N. For electromagnetic field and dynamic analysis, finite element method (FEM) is implemented to predict motor performance. Various design parameters are considered to reduce thrust ripple and to improve dynamic performance with the least sacrifice of effective thrust. Experimental results on thrust and static stiffness are also followed to confirmed the validity of the analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 철심형 영구자석 선형동기전동기(PMLSM, Steel-Cored Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor)에서 운전 특성을 고려한 설계 특성 및 전략 등에 대한 내용을 다룬다. 특히 반송장치의 운송궤적에서 요구하는 동적특성과 전동기의 동적용량(Dynamic Capability)을 고려한 동적제약조건(Dynamic Constraints) 규정을 통하여, 짧은 변위의 급가감속 왕복운전을 위한 철심형 PMLSM의 최적설계 전략을 살펴본다. 이와 더불어 동특성이 두드러진 PMLSM의 설계특성으로 열적인 특성, 디텐트력 해석 및 저감, 그리고 자계의 포화특성에 대하여 추가 고찰한다.

  • In this paper, thrust ripple is minimized using notch and slot-aperture width adjustment in a slotted PMLSM and then optimal design was achieved by using a neural network. This paper has used the moving model node technique to reduce the time and the effort for calculation according to changing design parameters. As the result, the detent force of optimal model is decreased from 9.44[N] to 0.97[N] greatly compare with it of basic model. The thrust is decreased 1.3[%] from 342.07[N] to 337.48[N] a little.

  • The problem in improving the positioning precision of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM) is the large detent force caused by the permanent magnet. The detent force is thought to arise from the difference of the position of a permanent magnet end and a tooth position. In this paper, Three methods of reducing detent force is presented The first method is adjusting the width of permanent magnet. The second method is varying the shape of armature teeth. The third method is the arrangement of the permanent magnet end. This paper compares with the ratio of reducing the detent force according to the three methods.

This paper analyzes detent force in a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) by using various detent force minimization techniques. A two-dimensional Finite Element Method(FEM) is used to predict detent forces due to structural factors and non-linearity. And moving node technique for the drawing models is used to reduce modeling time and efforts.

  • The Response Surface Methodology is frequently used for building an approximation model. However, its approximation errors often occur in engineering problem, because of the use of the Least Square Method. Therefore, this paper introduces the Moving Least Square Method to obtain the more accurate Response Surface Model, and then the detent force of a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor is applied to verify the accuracy of the introduced method.

9극 10슬롯 구조의 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기의 디텐트력 저감을 위한 최적설계 (Optimal Design of a PMLSM with 9 Pole 10 Slot for Detent Force Reduction)

  • Detent force of a permanent magnet linear motor(PMLSM) consist of cogging and drag forces, and should be minimized for high precision control purpose applications. This paper shows that the cogging force can be reduced effectively by employing 9 pole 10 slot structure. The drag force is minimized by optimizing the total length and shape of the exterior teeth of armature core simultaneously by using($1+{\lambda}$) evolution strategy coupled with response surface method. After optimization, the optimized PMLSM is proven to reduce 95% and 92.6% of the cogging and total detent forces, respectively, and give 12% and 6.4% higher Back-emf and thrust force, respectively, compared with a conventional 12 pole 9 slot structure under the same condition. Additionally, Simulation results by the proposed optimum design are verified by the experiment results.
