Research and Development of Image Synthesis Model Based on Emotion for the Mobile Environment (모바일 환경에서 감성을 기반으로 한 영상 합성 기법 연구 및 개발)

  • Camera performance of smartphone recently has been developed as much as the digital camera. Interest in applications As a result, many people take pictures and the number of people who are interested in application according to photos has been steadily increasing. However, there are only synthesis programs which are arraying some photos, overlapping multiple images. The model proposed in this paper, base on the emotion that is extracted from the facial expressions by combining the background and applying effects filters. And it can be also utilized in various fields more than any other synthesis programs.

  • The Vocabulary Recognition System made by recognizing the standard vocabulary is seen as a decline of recognition when out of the standard or similar words. The vector values of the existing system to the model created by configuring the database was used in the recognition vocabulary. The model to be formed during the search for the recognition vocabulary is recognizable because there is a disadvantage not configured with a database. In this paper, it induced to recognize the vector model is formed by the search and configuration using a Bayesian model recognizes the Bhattacharyya distance measurement based on the vector model, by applying the Wiener filter improves the recognition rate. The result of Convergence of two method's are improved reliability experiments for distance measurement. Using a proposed measurement are compared to the conventional method exhibited a performance of 98.2%.

Digital image watermarking techniques using multiresolution wavelet transform in Sequency domain (다해상도 웨이브렛 변환을 사용한 주파수 영역에서의 디지털 영상 워터마킹 기법)

  • la this paper, a new digital watermarking algorithm using wavelet transform in frequency domain is suggested. The wavelet coefficients of low frequency subband are utilized to embed the watermark, After the original image is transformed using discrete wavelet transform, their coefficients are transformed into efficient1y in Sequency domain. DCT and FFT transforms are utilized in this processing. Watermark image of general image format is transformed using DCT and the hiding watermark into wavelet coefficients is equally distributed in frequency domain. Next, these wavelet coefficients are performed with inverse transform. The detection process of watermark is performed with reverse direction to insertion process. In this paper, we developed core watermark technologies which are a data hiding technology to hide unique logo mark which symbolizes the copyright and a robust protection technology to protect logo data from external attack like as compression, filtering, resampling, cropping. The experimental results show that two suggested watermarking technologies are invisible and robust.

  • In this paper. we propose a new digital watermarking technique which uses the self-similarity of OCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) coefficients for the ownership protection of an image, similar coefficients are classified by SOM(Self-Organizing Map) out of Neural Network. The watermark is inserted into the selected cluster among clusters which consist of coefficients. Generally, the inserted watermark in high frequency regions of an image is eliminated by the compression process such as JPEG compressions, and the inserted watermark in low frequency regions of an image causes the distortion of an image quality. Therefore, the watermark is inserted into the cluster that has many coefficients in the middle frequency regions. This algorithm reduces the distortion of an image quality because of inserting the watermark into an image according to the number of coefficients in selected cluster. To extract watermarks from the watermarked image, the selected cluster is used without an original image. In the experiment, the new proposed algorithm have a good quality and endure attacks(JPEG compressions, filtering. zoom in, zoom out, cropping, noises) very well.

Content Recommendation Techniques for Personalized Software Education (개인화된 소프트웨어 교육을 위한 콘텐츠 추천 기법)

  • Recently, software education has been emphasized as a key element of the fourth industrial revolution. Many universities are strengthening the software education for all students according to the needs of the times. The use of online content is an effective way to introduce SW education for all students. However, the provision of uniform online contents has limitations in that it does not consider individual characteristics(major, sw interest, comprehension, interests, etc.) of students. In this study, we propose a recommendation method that utilizes the directional similarity between contents in the boolean view history data environment. We propose a new item-based recommendation formula that uses the confidence value of association rule analysis as the similarity level and apply it to the data of domestic paid contents site. Experimental results show that the recommendation accuracy is improved than when using the traditional collaborative recommendation using cosine or jaccard for similarity measurements.

  • Digital watermarking is a technique embedding hidden information into multimedia data imperceptibly such as images and sounds. Generally an original image is transformed and coded watermark data is embedded in frequency domain watermarking models. In this paper, We propose a new data embedding method using Fresnel transform. A watermark image is fresnel-transformed and the intensity of transformed pattern is embedded into original image. Our watermarking model has the flexibility In data embedding. It is possible to get many embedding patterns from a single watermark image by using various distance parameters with Fresnel transform. All kinds of image models such af shape, letter and photo ran be used as a watermark data. The watermarking experiments were conducted to show the validity of the proposed method, and the results show that our method has the robustness against lossy compression, filtering and geometric transformation.

Optimization Study of Digital X-ray Imaging with Dual Energy Subtraction Method (듀얼 에너지 감산기법을 이용한 디지털 X-ray 영상 최적화에 관한 연구)

  • Dual-energy digital radiography (DEDR) has been used for detecting lesions within the body using energy subtraction methods. The purpose of this study was to acquire optimal bone and tissue image by changing physical factors such as Tube voltage (kVp) and add filters, and then we compared with the predicted values using SRS-78 program and experimental results. For that purpose, we acquired images according to changes in physical parameters of various materials since we had to acquire the optimal bone and tissue image using energy subtraction. Used phantom consists of aluminum and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and a comparison of image optimization was measured by contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR). In results, first of all, we confirmed that a subtraction image from 50 kVp image and 120 kVp image is optimal bone and tissue image. Also when we added a 10 mm Aluminum add filter, we expected it is a result of the optimal bone and tissue image. Besides, we confirmed these results are consistent with the predicted optimized condition by SRS-78 program.. In conclusion, we indicated that we can acquire optimal bone and tissue image by controling physical factors such as kVp, add filters through this study. Also we expected that DEDR will contribute to the field of medical imaging technology.

Enhancement Techniques for GPU-Based Rendering of Participating Media (GPU 기반 반투과 매체 렌더링의 향상 기법)

  • In order to realistically visualize such participating media as cloud, smoke, and gas, the light transport process must be physically simulated inside the media. While it is known that this process is well described physically through the volume rendering equation, it usually takes a great deal of computation time for obtaining high-precision solutions. Recently, GPU-based, fast rendering methods have been proposed for the realistic simulation of participating media, however, there still remain several problems to be resolved. In this article, we describe our rendering techniques applied to enhance the performances and features of our GPU-assisted participating media renderer, and analyze how such efforts have actually improved the renderer. The presented techniques will be effectively used in volume renderers for creating various digital contents in the special effects industries.

  • SNS(Social Networking Services) is oneline service that enable users to construct human network through their relation on web, such as following relation, friend relation, and etc. Recently, owing to the advent of digital devices (smart phone, tablet PC) which embedded GPS some applications which provide services with spatial relevance and social relevance have been released. Such an online service is called LBSNS. It is required to use spatial filtering so as to build the LBSNS system that enable users to subscribe information of interesting area. For spatial filtering, user and tweet attaches location information which divide into static property presenting fixed area and dynamic property presenting user's area changed along the moving user. In the case of using a location information including dynamic property, Continuous query occurred from the moving user causes the problem in server. In this paper, we propose spatial filtering algorithm using Virtual Grid for reducing frequency of query, and conclude that frequency of query on using Virtual Grid is 93% decreased than frequency of query on not using Virtual Grid.

A Continuous-time Equalizer adopting a Clock Loss Tracking Technique for Digital Display Interface(DDI) (클록 손실 측정 기법을 이용한 DDI용 연속 시간 이퀄라이저)

  • This paper presents a continuous-time equalizer adopting a clock loss tracking technique for digital display interface. This technique uses bottom hold circuit to detect the incoming clock loss. The generated loss signal is directly fed to equalizer filters, building adaptive feed-forward loops which contribute the stability of the system. The design was done in $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS technology. Experimental results summarize that eye-width of minimum 0.7UI is achieved until -33dB channel loss at 1.65Gbps. The average power consumption of the equalizer is a maximum 10mW, a very low value in comparison to those of previous researches, and the effective area is $0.127mm^2$.
