A Digital Watermark Scheme for Rational Bezier Curves (유리 베지에곡선을 위한 디지털워터마크 기법)

  • 디지틸워터마킹은 디지털콘텐츠의 저작권보호 솔루션으로서 현재 주로 이미지, 오디오, 비디오, 텍스트 등을 대상으로 연구되고 있다. 컴퓨터 하드웨어, 네트워크, 그리고, 응용 소프트웨어의 빠른 발전과 함께 국가 차원의 초고속 통신망의 인프라 구축에 힘입어, 3차원 폴리곤과 곡선 및 곡면에 대한 디지털워터마킹에 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유리 베지에곡선에 대한 디지털워터마킹에 대한 하나의 방법을 제시한다. 기존의 베지에곡선의 차수를 증가시키는 일반적인 방법이 아닌 유리항의 분모와 분자에 공통의 다항식을 곱하여 차수를 증가시킨다. 이때 공통으로 칠하는 다항식의 관들의 복비(cross ratio) 값에 우리가 숨기고자하는 마크를 삽입하고, 추출해내는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시된 알고리듬은 워터마크를 삽입하는 과정에서 곡선의 형태를 전혀 변화시키지 않는 형태 유지성(shape preserving property)을 갖는다. 또한. 본 알고리듬의 다른 중요한 특징은 곡선이 CAD 시스템에 의해 이용되는 과정에서 흔히 일어나는 재매개화 방법 중 뫼비우스 변환을 이용한 재매개화에 저항성이 있는 알고리듬이라는 것이다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서 제시한 방범에 의한 예제의 결과를 보여준다.

  • Recently, according to the number of internet in widely use and the development of the related application program, the distribution and use of multimedia content(text, images, video, audio etc.) is very easy. Digital signal may be easily duplicated and the duplicated data can have same quality of original data so that it is difficult to warrant original owner. For the solution of this problem, the protection method of copyright which is encipher and watermarking. Digital watermarking is used to protect IP(Intellectual Property) and authenticate the owner of multimedia content. In this paper, the proposed watermarking algerian embeds watermark into multiple lower bitplanes of digital image. In the proposed algorithm, original and watermark images are decomposed to bitplanes each other and the watermarking operation is executed in the corresponded bitplane. The position of watermark image embedded in each bitplane is used to the watermarking key and executed in multiple lower bitplane which has no an influence on human visual recognition. Thus this algorithm can present watermark image to the multiple inherent patterns and needs small watermarking quantity. In the experiment, the author confirmed that it has high robustness against attacks of JPEG, MEDIAN and PSNR but it is weakness against attacks of NOISE, RNDDIST, ROT, SCALE, SS on spatial domain when a criterion PSNR of watermarked image is 40dB.

  • Digital Watermarking is a research area which aims at hiding secret information in digital multimedia content such as images, audio, and video. In this paper, we propose a new watermarking method with visually recognizable symbols into the digital images using wavelet transform, spread spectrum method and multilevel threshold value in considering the wavelet coefficients. The information of watermark can be extracted by subtracting wavelet coefficients with the original image and the watermarked image. The results of this experiment show that the proposed algorithm was superior to other similar watermarking algorithms. We showed Watermarking algorithm in JPEG lossy compression, resizing, LSB(Least Significant Bit) masking, and filtering.

  • We proposed a method for embedding coded binary data into EZW bitstreams and extracting embedded data from EZW bitstreams using the traditional EZW decoder. EZW coder have two passes. The first pass, the dominant pass have four symbols, P, N, IZ, ZTR. The second pass is sub-ordinary pass which specifies the value of symbol. In the proposed methods, we use ZTR symbol in the dominant pass. We embed watermark into ZTR symbol in the highest frequency band which original image is transferred by wavelet transform. The proposed digital watermarking method shows good properties for robustness in the low bit rate. Accordingly, based on the proposed digital watermarking, video and 3D image watermarking will become a new area for research in the near future.

  • 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 저작권 보호를 위한 워터마크 기법은 현재 많은 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문은 MPEG 비디오의 압축 과정에서 마지막 단계인 VLC 영역에 DCT된 워터마크의 키 값을 적용하여 얻어낸 신호를 run-level 쌍의 level 값의 부호에 따라 선택적으로 삽입하는 방범을 제안하였다. 양자화 된 DCT계수들의 고주파수 영역은 level 값을 거의 가지지 않기 때문에 고주파수영역의 계수 값이 제거되어도 워터마크의 정보는 대부분 살아남아 공격에 강인함을 보이며 압축의 마지막단계에 정보를 삽입하여 실시간 적용이 가능하다는 장점을 보여 주었다.

Copyright Protection for the Video image with Coded Watermarking (암호화 워터마킹을 사용한 비디오 영상의 저작권 보호)

  • In this paper, a digital watermarking scheme whichis effective in protecting a copyright of video image under an image transformation and impulse noise is proposed. The proposing scheme is to use a coded watermark that insert the personal ID of copyrighter. The recovery ability is improved by the coded watermark. Also the coded watermark is abel to trace the illegal distributors. Binary image is used as watermark image, the value of PSNR and recovered rates of watermark are obtained in order to confirm the required invisibility and robustness in watermark system. The experimental results show that image quality is less degraded as the PSNR of 98.21 ㏈. It is also observed that excellent watermark recovery is achieved under the image transformation and impulse noise.

  • In this paper, a new watermaking method embedding digital watermarks in the compressed video for the copy protection of multimedia data. The proposed method segments objects and embeds independent watermarks in each objects by spread spectrum method in the bitstream domain which is compressed by DCT and motion compensated coding method like MPEG-2. And, the proposed method not only embeds watermarks but show the robustness to the attacks like average operation or statistical analysis.

  • 인터넷의 발달과 다양한 콘텐츠의 디지털화로 인해 손쉽게 복제와 유통이 가능해지면서 콘텐츠 제공업자와 콘텐츠 제작업자의 영세화가 가속화되고 있으며, 이로 인해 콘텐츠 보호 기술에 대한 요구가 급증하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 콘텐츠의 보호를 위해 동영상의 특정 프레임을 추출해 보다 강한 워터마크를 삽입하고 추출하는 효율적인 방법에 대한 모델을 제시한다. 또한 암호화 기술을 이용해 디지털 콘텐츠를 패키지 형태의 암호화된 데이터로 변환시키는 DRM 솔루션에 대해 디지털 콘텐츠가 전달된 후 사용자 측면에서 사용에 제한을 받도록 제안한다.

Development of Adaptive Digital Image Watermarking Techniques (적응형 영상 워터마킹 알고리즘 개발)

  • Digital watermarking is to embed imperceptible mark into image, video, audio and text data to prevent the illegal copy of multimedia data, arbitrary modification, and also illegal sales of the copes without agreement of copyright ownership. The DCT(discrete Cosine Transforms) transforms of original image is conducted in this research and these DCT coefficients are expanded by Fourier series expansion algorithm. In order to embed the imperceptible and robust watermark, the Fourier coefficients(lower frequency coefficients) can be calculated using sine and cosine function which have a complete orthogonal basis function, and the watermark is embedded into these coefficients, In the experiment, we can show robustness with respect to image distortion such as JPEG compression, bluring and adding uniform noise. The correlation coefficient are in the range from 0.5467 to 0.9507.
