This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of caring empowerment in the relationship between caring burden and life design. To get the results, a survey was conducted, targeting caregivers of disabled children and caring burden, caring empowerment, life design measures were used in the survey. Key outcomes of the analysis were as follows. First, it was verified that caring burden and caring empowerment, caring empowerment and life design had a direct relationship. Second, it was analyzed that caring empowerment had a full mediating effect in the relationship between caring burden and caring empowerment. Based in these results, comprehensive interventions for activating life design were proposed.

There is a need to develop an app for a caregiver health management that can provide continuous management in response to changes over time, because elderly people have low digital utilization capabilities, difficulty maintaining regular and continuous self-management. Based on this need, this study designed an app with a user-friendly UI and simple structure for the elderly. The app developed in this study supports regular management of health data such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and heart rate, as well as specific information on physical, disease, cognitive, communication, and environment in the care field. The app developed in this study supports care services by automatically entering data through integration with health management devices, automatically analyzing and visually representing recorded data to understand trends and volatility, and adding scalability to connect with various health management and medical support platforms. The effectiveness and satisfaction of the developed app were confirmed to be significant in the field verification results.

This study aimed to investigate the difference of the disabilities type of caring competency, caring appraisal(caring burden, caring satisfaction), self-help group support for parents who have children with disabilities. The data were collected by a self-reported questionnaire from 301 parents who have disabled children(180 mental disabilities & 121 physical disabilities). Given the three types of invariance satisfied, latent means analysis(LMA) is performed to test mean differences on the four factors across the two groups. According to LMA where the parents who have children with physical disabilities are used as the reference group, the parents who have children with mental disabilities showed higher latent mean values on the self-help group support and caring burden. However, the parents who have children with physical disabilities showed higher latent mean values on the caring satisfaction and caring competency.

Diverse official policies in community are available for caregivers to take care of the elderly in the US and the UK. This study aims to examine the recent changes in government supports based on The Recognize, Assist, Include Support and Engage (RAISE) in the US, and those by Carer Act 2014 in the UK, to take any good lessons for Korean policy. Caregivers will play a new role to develop innovative treatment for patient-centered care. The UK strengthens to provide various efforts for working carers while assuring economic efficiency in labor market with empirical evidence. The major four ways to support carers were developed agreed with the acknowledge of caregiving value and their human right; financial support, direct services for carers, flexible work time, and advocacy. Korean supports policies for carers in long-term care and social welfare will be more effective in community care system if more evidence based policies are prepared.

The purpose of this research was to examine the whether to recognition of the long-term care insurance have affected on aged parent-supporting. The research method was used self-report questionnaire to 331 persons who was supported their parents. And I used the Frequency, simple linear regression as an analysis methods. The result demonstrated that Educational background, the emotional intimacy of the subjects, and the recognition degree of the long-term care service have significant influence on their physically parent supporting consciousness. The researchers suggest the need of family support system based on the result for decrease the parent-supporting burden in middle age generation.

In this study, the problem of child care gaps has arisen due to the expansion of women's entry into the workforce and the increase in working couples, and the care cliff phenomenon after children enter elementary school has been identified as one of the causes of women's career disconnection and low birth rates, and child care services have been initiated to solve care problems and balance work and family. The importance of childcare services to the safety and well-being of children has been highlighted by the restrictions on school attendance and the absence of caregivers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The government has been making policy efforts to reduce the gap in child care, but problems with the effectiveness and efficiency of the child care system have arisen due to unstable target selection and delivery systems by ministries and projects in the implementation of child care services. Therefore, this study examines the child care services implemented by each ministry to reduce the blind spots of after-school care services in the community and prepare efficient operation plans for various delivery systems, and seeks directions for the development of child care services.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the burden of caring for the care-givers of the elderly in Korea by using an integrated literature review method. A total of 23 studies were analyzed using a search database. When care-givers had higher sense of filial and guilt or more than two diseases, they showed high level of feeling of burden. Also, they had high level of feeling of physical burden by their oldness, service period (especially at the period of 1-3 years). In the feeling of economic burden, they had high level of feeling of burden by their oldness, or elderly's disease periods. The feeling of burden by psychological condition was found in elderly in aged and the beginning of admission of nursing home. The feeling of burden by environment situation was found when the functional status of the elderly was bad. Therefore, we need to concern care-givers's feeling of burden with elderly people in the nursing home. In the future, I believe that the findings of this study will be helpful for development of the intervention program for alleviate burden for the care-giver.

This study was attemted to grasp the factors affecting the caring efficacy of senior nursing students. Data were collected from 173 nursing students at J university in G-do. Analysis was done using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Multiple regression with IBM SPSS WIN/25.0. Caring efficacy was positively correlated with clinical learning environment (r=.42, p<.001), field practice adaptation (r=.53, p<.001), nursing professionalism (r=.42, p<.001), and negatively correlated to clinical practice powerlessness (r=-.46, p<.001). The most influential factor on the subjects' caring efficacy was field practice adaptation (β=.330, p<.001), followed by nursing professionalism (β=.188, p=.005), clinical learning environment (β=.176, p=.015), introvert (β=-.146, p=.018), and extrovert (β=.134, p=.035). The explanatory power was 41.8%. Therefore, systematic nursing programs that can enhance caring efficacy are needed. Also, the following data can be utilized as basic data to help develop caring efficacy programs.

The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing elderly care burden of a working family. Methods: A descriptive correlational design was used. Participants was 153 family member of elderly at five nursing facilities. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires from July to October 2019. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis with the SPSS WIN 25.0 program. Analysis result, explaining 20,8% of the variance, which indicated that subjects for giving care, monthly admission fee, burden of expenses, and satisfaction for fee service were significant predictors of working family's care burden. Various individual characteristics significantly influenced working family's care burden in aspects of emotional, social, economical, and physical burdens. Therefore, interventions to decrease working family's care burden must focus on their individual factors.

Caring is essential ability for nursing provider. The purpose of this study was to identify impact of self-reflection, ego state and transformational leadership on caring ability in nursing students. A convenience sample of 199 nursing students was obtained from a university in Gyeonggi Province. Data was analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression. The result of multiple regression indicate that self-reflection(${\beta}=0.10$, p<.05), transformational leadership(${\beta}=0.13$, p<.05), NP(${\beta}=0.27$, p<.001), FC(${\beta}=0.22$, p<.001), CP(${\beta}=-0.24$, p<.001) and AC (${\beta}=-0.35$, p<.001) were the most consistent predictors of caring ability and explained 54.0%. These results are expected to be used as a basic data for the development of a convergence education program that can enhance self - reflection, positive aspect of ego state and transformational leadership in order to improve caring ability of nursing college students.
