Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lots of occasions need to be held in online environment. This is the reason why "Metaverse" gets lots of attention in 2021. A number of companies made announcements on Metaverse, and this situation also boomed stock market. This paper investigates the relationship between Metaverse initiatives and business value of the firm (i.e., stock prices). We examine this relationship by using event study method with Lexis-Nexis News data from 2019 to 2021. The results indicate that Metaverse initiatives significantly impact positive influence on firm's value. In the technological perspective, technical factors affect more positive market returns, including Metaverse enablers (e.g., NFT, VR devices, digital twin) and common infrastructure (e.g., semiconductor, AI, cloud), and especially virtual environment was emphasized. Additionally, in the strategical perspective, radical innovation (e.g., pivoting, acquisition) impact more positive market return rather than incremental innovation (e.g., partnership, investment). Also, firms from non-service industries can achieve benefits from Metaverse initiatives rather than service industry in some degree.
Nowadays, the IS project is getting more and more complicated and large-scaled. Many researchers and practitioners are interested in the IS development methodologies, automated tools and techniques to decrease project failure and to increase IS project performance. This research is to seize the management level of PMO affecting on the IS project, as a new method to increase the IS project development performance. As a result of surveying the present PMO operation state with banks which are the leading industry to accept the PMO in Korea, technology support management and infrastructure management are the core functions to affect the IS performance including schedule management, quality management, and user and stakeholders' satisfaction. Also, the PMO management level is the important point of IS project success. Among the 5 levels PMI suggested, PMO can implement the project effectively at least at the third level. Korean companies introducing the PMO have to do research the PMO core functions and the management levels according to the project scale, and review the distinctive features of their organization to increase the maturity of IS project. This research has been proved through the Full Structural Equation Model. The results show that the five core functions of PMO have relationship with the IS project performance.
According to industrialization and urbanization, the complex cultural space have been developed for residents within a region. Focusing on these changes, we wanted to find out what functions the complex cultural space have and how these functions affect the customer's perceived value and revisit intention of customers. This study have a purpose to help the local government and the corporation who manage the complex cultural space to build operation strategy by utilizing the function of the complex cultural space. To this end, a questionnaire was compiled based on a literature study related to a complex cultural space, and data was collected. It was analyzed using SPSS Win Ver. 22.0 and PROCESS macro v3.4. As a result, it was found that the function of the complex cultural space had some significant influence on customer's perceived value and intention to revisit. and showed how each function had a an influence on customer's perceived value and on re-visiting intention. This study has significance in that it can contribute to the local government and the corporations' operation strategy and management direction of the complex cultural space. And it will contribute to the study of the complex cultural space's macro role as e tool of regional revitalization.
This study is an exploratory study on the sustainable management of MICE events, and was conducted using the FGI method. Twelve experts in the MICE field, industry, and academia were selected as the subjects of the study. The reason is that understanding and specialty of those targets provides research reliability and validity. The study period was 3 months from June to August 2021. As a result, it is very important to prepare a sustainable development strategy in the MICE industry, and in particular, the need for guidelines to be practiced during event operation from the organizer's point of view was derived. In addition, to derive items that can be used in practice based on the theoretical basis, and it was necessary to derive research results using internationally recognized Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and sustainable MICE research developed in the fields of tourism and MICE. Therefore, through the verification of such experts in the field of MICE, theoretical and practical guidelines from the perspective of the organizer that can be used when holding MICE were developed. The results of the study will provide implications for establishing more effective strategies for hosting sustainable MICE events in the future.

In the digital transformation paradigm, IT employee work as a key human resource to accept new technologies and to lead their organization to be settled them efficiently. However, due to relatively short term of their job life and high turnover rate, the companies and the organizations are still experiencing problem the lack of IT manpower or turnover. In this study, it attempted to analyze the relationship between IT employee's technostress factors such as techno-overload, techno-complexity, techno-uncertainty, techno-invasion, and techno-insecurity and job burnout through stress coping. To reveal the structural relationship between main variables, the survey was conducted on 318 IT employees. An EFA, CFA, and reliability analysis were performed to confirm reliability and validity, and the structural equation model was conducted to testify research hypotheses. The main results are as follows. First, it was found that techno-uncertainty and techno-insecurity had the significant positive effect on problem focused coping(PFC). And, techno-complexity, techno-uncertainty, and techno-insecurity were found to have a significant positive effect on emotion focused coping(EFC). Second, in the relationship between stress coping and job burnout, it was found that EFC had a significant positive effect on burnout. Third, in the relationship between technostress and burnout, techno-uncertainty and techno-invasion were found to have a significant positive effect on burnout. In addition, it was found that the mediator effect of stress coping between techno-overload and techno-complexity through EFC. Therefore, these outputs are expected to suggest how to motivate IT employees who work as key role in efficient management on IT assets and strengthen competitiveness in digital transformation paradigm.
The digital transformation of finance is accelerating, and digital banking has already become a major banking channel. Banks have traditionally placed importance on CRM(Customer Relationship Management) and have tried to retain their loyal customers, who contribute significantly to the bank, such as long-term transactions, holding accounts with a certain balance or more, and holding loans. In this situation, this study exploratorily analyzed the consumer behavior of digital banking deposits in a major bank of Korea(1,145 samples). Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS. The main findings of the study are summarized as follows. It was found that there were differences of consumer behavior in digital banking deposits by generation, and the MZ generation used digital banking more on holidays than other generations. As a result of analyzing the behavior of existing loyal customers and regular customers of digital banking deposit, there was a significant difference in both the amount and period of the deposit. It was confirmed that the existing loyal customers of the bank also engage in consumer behavior that contributes to the bank in digital banking. In addition, the interaction between the customer type and the date of sign up for the deposit period, which is the goal setting of financial consumers, it was found that there was a significant effect. This study empirically analyzed the consumer behavior of digital banking in a situation where decrease of bank branches and encounters with digital banking. The major concepts of the consumer behavior theory are Loyal Customer, Goal Pursuit, and Habit, which were confirmed in an example of digital banking. The results of this study can suggest practical implications for existing banks and Internet-only banks, including the importance of customer management in digital banking.

Society has been developed through analogue, digital, and smart era. Every technology is going through consistent changes and rapid developments. In this competitive society, R&D strategy establishment is significantly useful and helpful for improving technology competitiveness. A patent document includes technical and legal rights information such as title, abstract, description, claim, and patent classification code. From the patent document, a lot of people can understand and collect legal and technical information. This unique feature of patent can be quantitatively applied for technology analysis. This research paper proposes a methodology for extracting core technology and patents based on quantitative methods. Statistical analysis and social network analysis are applied to IPC codes in order to extract core technologies with active R&D and high centralities. Then, core patents are also extracted by analyzing citation and family information.
Future automobiles are evolving into movable living spaces capable of eco-friendly autonomous driving. The role of electrically processing, controlling, and commanding various information in the vehicle is essential. It is expected that the automotive semiconductor will play a key role in the future automobile such as self-driving and eco-friendly automobile. In order to foster the automotive semiconductor industry, it is necessary to grasp technology trends and to acquire technology and quality that reflects the requirements in advance, thereby achieving technological innovation with industrial competitiveness. However, there is a lack of systematic analysis of technology trends to date. In this study, we analyzed the technology trends of automotive semiconductors using patent analysis and topic model, and confirmed technologies such as electric cars, driving assistance, and digital manufacturing. The technology trends showed that element technology and technical characteristics change according to technology convergence, market needs, and government regulations. Through this research, it is expected that it will help to make R&D policy for automotive semiconductor industry and to make decision for industrial technology strategy establishment. In addition, it is expected that it will be used effectively in detail research direction and patent strategy establishment by providing detailed classification of technology and trend analysis result of technology.
This study is analyzed the implementation of medical aid for patients over 65 years of age who are among the discharged from hospitals with the capacity of over 100 beds. I have analyzed it with the data from an in-depth study of injury surveillance of discharged patients from hospitals done in a national project in 2004. After analyzing the results of the data from the beginning of this national project to the data collected in 2008, I could get the results that the rate of discharged patients over 65 years of age increased every year. Among them, the rate of discharged women was higher than that of the men, and the rate of deaths while at the hospital for patients over 65 years of age was higher than that of patients less than 65 years of age. The rate of operations done on patients over 65 was lower than that of patients under 65 years of age. The results of a diagnosis of popular symptoms showed that the rate of the diagnosis of cerebral infraction and structure of the heart at the circulatory organ was higher. In addition, the rate of the diagnosis of lung cancer, pneumonia, and chronic obstructive lung disease was higher, as well as the rates of gastric cancer, diabetes, liver cancer, and colorectal cancer. The results showed that the operation of the nerve system or cardiovascular system were higher. Therefore, according to this result, we should prioritize and allocate resources to the elderly people when setting up a management policy. And also, we should promote healthcare for elderly people after considering the characteristics of the implementation of medical aid in preparation of a super-aged society.
The purpose of this research is to study the impact of a consulting-recipient company's organizational characteristics have on consulting performance based on a case study of M manufacturing company that received HR consulting. Noticing that the subject company received HR consulting, consulting performance was evaluated in terms of two variables, HR effectiveness and organizational commitment, and the research focused on analyzing HR system improvement and change in awareness of employees. The result showed that all lower factors that describe organizational characteristics - closeness, delegation of responsibilities, ethical management, communication and shared values - had statistically positive impact on HR effectiveness at significance level p<.05. Also, the higher the HR effectiveness, the higher the positive impact on organizational commitment improvement. Moreover, it was shown that all lower factors in organizational characteristics had positive impact on overall consulting performance. Accordingly, the research concludes that, in order to improve consulting performance, i.e., HR effectiveness and organizational commitment, for blue collar workers, the company needs to create a family-oriented and closely-knit working environment, establish rules and systems to delegate responsibilities appropriately, actively promote ethical management and provide strategic activities to facilitate effective communication.
