  • This study presents about the method of alternatives selection by considering wall performance and interior design. Wall is selected fur the object and 3 items of cost, performance, and design as the objective function for optimizing are determined. Thus the wall performance selected problems, which are improvement of insulation performance, sweaty prevention, sound insulation performance and design selected problems, which is satisfactory Improvement of users about Interior design. It is important to select alternatives that can satisfy the performance and design on the capital given as much as possible. But quantitative problem such as performance or expanses and qualitative problem such as design are not in the same dimension. Therefore this problem is a multi-criteria optimization problem and also has used AHP method as the method to solve these. Moreover GA is used to solve a problem of the alternatives occurrence, which is the characteristic of multi-criteria problem. This study presents the solution method on multi-criteria problem that has been mix loaded of quantitative problem and qualitative problem by using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) and GA(Genetic Algorithm).

A Nonlinear Programming Formulation for the Topological Structural Optimization (구조체의 위상학적 최적화를 위한 비선형 프로그래밍)

  • The focus of this study is on the problem of the design of structure of undetermined topology. This problem has been regarded as being the most challenging of structural optimization problems, because of the difficulty of allowing topology to change. Conventional approaches break down when element sizes approach to zero, due to stiffness matrix singularity. In this study, a novel nonlinear programming formulation of the topology problem is presented. Its main feature is the ability to account for topology variation through zero element sizes. Stiffness matrix singularity is avoided by embedding the equilibrium equations as equality constraints in the optimization problem. Although the formulation is general, two dimensional plane elasticity examples are presented. The design problem is to find minimum weight of a plane structure of fixed geometry but variable topology, subject to constraints on stress and displacement. Variables are thicknesses of finite elements, and are permitted to assume zero sizes. The examples demonstrate that the formulation is effective for finding at least a locally minimal weight.

  • This paper presents a framework that is based on a reconfigurable macro-model of current-mode logic (CML) high-speed digital circuits enabling equation-based design optimization. The proposed macro-model is compatible with geometric programming, thereby enabling constraint-driven top-level power optimization. The proposed optimization framework is applied to a design of CML based serial-link transmitter with user-defined design specifications as an example of high speed digital circuits using 45nm and 90nm CMOS technology. The proposed optimization framework can derive a design with optimal power efficiency for given transistor technology nodes.

  • The most critical issue in free-form buildings is how to construct the free-formed exterior facade panels. Their geometric complexity delivers many cons and problems in fabricating and constructing their shapes. To construct a free-form building, first of all, its skin has to be chopped into small pieces, which is called panelization. After panelization, the panels go through an optimization process to construct them economically. The panel's geometries are modified or regenerated through this optimization process. In this study, the panel optimization process of free-form buildings are performed through a case study. The panel shapes of the case study are modeled with Digital Project. To test the constructability of the various panels, 8 mock-up panels are made and laser scanning technology is applied to measure the preciseness of the panels manufactured in comparison with their original design.

  • As the aging of our society gradually deepens, the quality of the elderly care environment based on the elderly care model of the Silver Town space is gradually becoming the focus of everyone's attention. This study mainly studies and discusses the visual and behavioral characteristics of the elderly. In order to pay more attention to the special needs of the elderly in order to optimize the spatial environment, the design of visual experience design in the living environment of the elderly in Silver Town is designed. explore in depth Through this, the environment of the space is optimized so that the elderly can enjoy their old age in a comfortable environment. This study is based on visual psychology, environmental psychology, gerontology and other theories. Through the collection of related literature and field research on the elderly, the function and overall combination of the living environment of the elderly in Silver Town is studied, and the environment is organized. Based on the behavioral and visual needs of middle-aged and older people, a design method was proposed to strengthen the visual connection in space. In terms of visual experience, the lighting, colors, and materials of the environment are studied. Through a combination of theory and research and experiments, it is concluded that the elderly prefer plants with warm colors, high brightness colors, and geometric patterns. The design principle and design method of the visual experience in the Silver Town space are summarized.

  • This paper shows a study on the "Korean High Speed Train Design" method, its design process and the result in the form of aerodynamic optimal exterior design development of a prototype test train(HSR 350${\times}$). It was developed from 1996 until 2002, six years long in R '||'&'||' D project titled "Development of High Speed Railway Technology" The end result of the project is a prototype test train, which has two power cars, two motorized trailers and three trailers, had been tested successfully in the year 2003 to the highest speed limit 380km/h on high speed line. The improved conceptual design work of a new commercial train and next generation's train is also performed for future needs.uture needs.

  • 염기서열 디자인은 DNA computing, 샘물정보학 등의 분야에서 실험 설계시 고려해야할 중요한 문제 중의 하나이다. 이 문제는 다양한 조건을 만족시키는 최적의 염기서열 집합을 생성하는 조합 최적화 문제로 생각될 수 있으며, 염기서열이 갖추어야 할 조건을 적합도 함수로 사용한 진화 연산 등의 방법이 적용되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 여러 논문들에서 제시된 적합도 함수의 구체적인 형태를 해 공간상에서 조사해 보았으며, 각 적합도 함수간의 관계도 분석해 보았다.

  • 프로그레시브금형에 있어서 스트립 레이아웃설계는 제품 양산을 결정하는 중요 요인이다. 본 논문에서는 자동차에 사용되는 브라켓의 스트립 레이아웃설계를 하였다. 3D모델링이 아닌 자동화 모듈인 씨마트론 다이 디자인을 활용하여 3D로 스트립 레이아웃설계를 하였다. 광폭 2열 2개 뽑기의 내측캐리어를 단 배열로 블랭크 레이아웃을 최적화하였다. 사용된 3D CAD/CAM 소프트웨어는 Cimatron Die Design이며 10개 공정으로 스트립 레이아웃설계를 완성하였다.

  • 공급망 관리(SCM: Supply Chain Management)는 공급자, 생산자, 고객에 이르는 공급망(Supply Chain) 전체에 대한 합리화된 통합적 관리를 의미한다. 현재까지 최적화와 관련된 분야들에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되어 왔으나 이러한 최적화 값들의 실제 적용에 관한 연구는 미흡하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공급망을 모델링하여 원하는 기간 동안의 시뮬레이션을 통해 공급망을 정량화된 데이터로 표현해 주고, 각 구성 요소에서의 운영정책 변화나 공급망 디자인의 변화와 같은 여러 가지 발생 가능한 변인들이 공급망에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 나타내 줄 수 있는 Supply Chain Simulator(SCS)에 대한 개략적인 내용을 살펴보고 개발된 SCS들에 대하여 간략하게 알아보고자 한다.
