The aesthetic value of Korea is rising in various fields through the use of designs using Korean materials. Korean materials contain oriental ideas and are widely used as materials for design development due to the uniqueness of its form. The purpose of this study is to present basic data of nail art design differentiated nail art designs required at the nail art industry site by producing nail works using Korean materials. Accordingly, We proceeded on the basis of theoretical consideration and empirical research for the development of nail art design, a field of beauty in this study, and made a Korean and unique nail art design work using the Four Gracious Plants. For this purpose, we considered theoretically the characteristics of nail art and the Gracious Plants, and made nail art design works derived from empirical research. The work was analyzed by color, texture, and design elements of form. Therefore, the mixed method of Nail Art and the Gracious Plants, which is the core of this study, is considered to be meaningful in laying the foundation for creative nail art design development.

Based on the service design processes, we examined the market conditions and the criteria to be considered in selecting materials and selected CFRP CNT materials in the development of bicycle design. This material was used to develop frame design among the bicycle parts. The bicycle frame, designed with CFRP CNT material through vibration attenuation testing, tensile strength testing, and stiffness test results before prototype production, shows better results than the bicycle frame manufactured with conventional CNT materials in terms of function.

The purpose of this paper is to describe and predict the color trends of the handy electronic plastics product materials using design management based on a field survey in Korea and Japan. It is attempted to suggest more rational, systematic design process management of Korean firms, and to provide sharing of design knowledge management system among small businesses, home appliances, and the related organizations. Results of color trends survey shown plastics materials are cybertic, purity, and colorful trends. In addition, as emotional marketing strategy the trends of color and face processing are high quality, variety, and difference. Finally, this paper also suggests the way of DB building of color trends.

The thesis is a study of the information model for the information collection and systematization in the way of product design. In the past, the design was made by the designers hands, worked with the material directly, but today's product design, the material diverted to information, can be considered as it is made essentially through information collection and systematization processing. If the product design is considered the information processing, usually it means a qualitative change of the product design information, not a quantitative change of the information theory. A focus of the study is to grope for a way of changing the subject to information, dealing with when the product design intends to purposes, not the material, When a way of the product design was discussed to solve the problems rationally, in the past, if it is considered as quantitative, qualitative and organic methods and modeling as their means based on the process model, [analysis-generalization-estimation], are formal ism, the way of product design as information is that the product direction as a substance should go through the design information processing, making an alternative plan with the information model cycling to natural order. Because success or failure of the product design in the future depends on information as material.

Postmodernism has blurred the line between design and art. We would like to suggest a design case that took diversity in the modern era that harmonizes functionality and shape of the top board of a furniture and trend of the role of furniture and objet into consideration. This study aims to project a new role into space via convergence of objet that has aesthetic function and furniture design that plays practical role in space. Thus, furniture design attempts to combine ceramic and carpentry and demonstrate the value and potential the combination possesses. By creating a distinct design from previous furniture that had visual limitations with ceramic bridge that adopted existing piling method in ceramic design, we expect a fresh blend of furniture and space that encompasses a different sensation from color and texture of soil and glaze, unable to attain from simple wood.

제품의 품질 및 가격 뿐만 아니라 물질적 풍요로움과 더불어 다변화 되어가는 생활 환경 속에서 소비자의 감성과 선호도를 파악하는 것은 제품 판매 전략의 중요한 성공요소가 되고 있다. 이를 위하여 제품의 기능적 측면 뿐만 아니라 개개인의 정서적 감정과 선호도가 반영된 제품의 설계나 디자인 또한 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소재 개발의 프로세스가 고객 중심으로 변화하는 것에 대응하여 사용자의 감성과 선호도를 중심으로 소재를 개발하는 방법의 하나로 협력적 필터링 개인화 기법을 응용하여 섬유 패션 디자인 추천 시스템을 제안한다. Textile 기반의 협력적 필터링 시스템에서 예측에 사용될 이웃의 수를 결정하기 위해서 Representative Attribute-Neighborhood를 사용한다. 이웃들간의 사용자 유사도 가중치는 피어슨 상관 계수(Pearson Correlation Coefficient)를 사용한다. 소재에 대한 사용자의 감성이나 선호도에 대한 Textile의 대표 감성 형용사를 추출함으로써 소재 개발을 위한 감성 형용사 데이터 베이스를 구축한다. 구축된 감성 형용사 데이터 베이스를 기반으로 성향이 비슷한 사용자에게 Textile을 추천한다. 사용자 선호도 예측과 Textile 기반의 협력적 필터링 기술을 이용한 섬유 패션 디자인 추천 에이전트를 구축하여 시스템의 논리적 타당성과 유효성을 검증하기 위해 실험적인 적용을 시도하고자 한다.

This paper, the shielding material is suggested using by the korean paper, lacquer, and charcoal those can be used more eco-friendly materials for the interior design. Also, it is designed the image-wall for improving of the electromagnetic shielding and the beauty. Suggested shielding material is manufactured with the thickness of 2 mm by the printing method of the lacquer and charcoal on the korean paper. This material has the shielding effectiveness over 95% until 2 GHz. The application for the interior design using more eco-friendly material can be reduced the effect of electromagnetic wave and the chemical substances like as the formaldehyde and the volatile organic compound (VOC).

최근에 내의는 디자인 및 소재의 다양화로 기능성과 패션성을 지향하는 등의 새로운 경향이 나타나고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생이 계절별로 선호하는 언더웨어용 소재의 태와 감성요인을 추출하고 이의 계절 및 성별에 따른 차이를 비교하며, 태와 감성이미지가 소재의 선호도에 미치는 영향을 조사하는 것이다. 조사대상은 H대학의 남ㆍ녀 대학생 109명으로 설문조사를 하였으며 여름철 내의용 소재인 13가지의 편성물 중 가장 선호하는 소재의 태와 감성이미지를 7점 척도로 평가하였으며 선행연구에서 사용된 태와 감성 형용사를 수정 보완한 설문지를 이용하였다. This study renewed the 'RE_Double Diamond' design process on the importance that material selection should reflect the needs of the consumer as much as possible in product development. In addition, the provider-centered secondary stakeholder map process among existing double-diamond methodologies has been applied, and the selection of materials through communication between designers and engineers, including the construction of information focused on visualization.

최근 들어 사회가 고도화ㆍ다양화됨으로 인해 관련 산업 전분야로 컴퓨터 시스템의 보급은 급속도로 확산되고 있다. 특히, 섬유 날염 분야에도 다품종ㆍ소롯트 추세에 대응하기 위한 컴퓨터 시스템을 응용한 디지털 날염시스템의 다양한 기계 장치와 관련 소재 개발[1-3]이 구미 선진국을 중심으로 활발히 진행되고 있는 것이 세계적인 현상이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수년전부터 국내 날염 업계와 제품 디자인 업계에 상당수 보급되어 운영되고 있는 디지털 날염머신에 필요한 천연섬유소재와 합성섬유소재 등 디지털 날염전용 섬유소재원단을 개발하고자 한다.
