Dynamic Analysis for a Arch Railway Bridge Considering Real Train Loads (실 열차하중을 고려한 아치 교량의 동적해석)

  • 고속열차(KTX)를 지지하는 구조물은 차량과 지속적인 접촉을 갖는 구조를 가지고 있으므로 고속열차의 운행 안정성(동적거동)을 고려한 설계가 필요하다. 또한, 상부 구조물은 고속열차의 연행이동집중하중을 지지하며, 이러한 하중조건을 갖는 차량이 운행할 때 상부 구조물은 설계 기준사항들을 만족해야한다. 호남고속철도 설계지침에 의하면 고속열차(KTX)의 운행 안정성을 평가하기 위한 항목들로 대상 교량의 고유진동수, 상판 수직가속도, 면틀림 그리고 승차감을 고려한 연직처침 등이 요구된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 KTX의 실 열차하중을 고려하여 연행이동집중하중으로 아치 교량의 동적거동을 검토하였으며, 호남고속철도 설계지침을 적용하여 대상 교량의 운행 안정성을 평가하였다.

  • 유체저장탱크가 외부로부터 지진과 같은 동적하중을 받게 될 경우 유체와 구조물의 상호작용(Fluid-Structure Interaction)으로 인하여 일반적인 구조물과는 상이한 거동을 보이게 된다. 이러한 복잡한 상호작용을 고려하여 현재 내진 설계에서는 Housner와 Haroun의 이론을 적용한 단순화 모델들이 사용되고 있다. 이들 모델은 유체의 거동을 대류(convective) 성분과 충격(impulsive) 성분으로 구분하여 집중질량으로 단순화 한다. 하지만 점차 대형화되고 있는 유체저장탱크의 정확한 동적 거동 특성을 파악하고, 지진하중과 같은 방향성을 가진 하중에 대한 구조물의 정확한 응답을 해석하려면 단순화 모델의 적용성 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 지진하중을 받는 유체저장탱크의 동적거동을 집중질량 모델과 3차원 모델을 이용하여 해석하였다. 나아가 해석결과의 차이를 분석하여 단순화 모델의 정확도 향상을 위한 내진설계변수 산출에 관하여 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

Effect of Notch Geometries on Dynamic Stress Concentration Factor (노치 선단(균열 주위)의 기하학적 형상이 동적 응력집중계수(동적균열전파)에 미치는 영향)

  • In this paper, the erect of notch geometries on dynamic stress concentration was investigated by using the dynamic photoelasticity and the drop weight loading system Dynamic stress fields arisen by elastic wave through the loading system around various types of notch geometries were captured by using $10^6/sec$ frame rate Cranz-Shardin camera system with 12 photographic frames. We found that dynamic stress concentrations around the notch tip and comer were highly dependent on the change in notch geometries. The elders of dynamic stress singularity ware determined with respect to varying geometries of notches and we explained dynamic stress concentration in terms of the orders of dynamic stress singularity.

  • 이동 집중력 및 집중질량에 의한 이동하중을 받는 직사각형 보강판에 대하 여 보강재효과집중 모델링방법에 의거하여 보강판을 등방성 박판 및 보강재 효과를 반영한 등가보요소로 이루어진 판-보 조합체로 유한요소 모델링하고 Newmark의 직접 시간적분법을 이용한 동응답 해석방법을 정식화하였다. 일 련의 수치계산 예를 통하여 본 연구에서 제시한 방법이 이동하중을 받는 보 강판의 동응답 해석문제에 효과적으로 적용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 아울러 parametric study를 통하여 이동하중이 작용하는 보강판의 동응답특성은 이 동하중의 질량효과를 고려하는 경우와 고려하지 않는 경우 매우 달라지며, 이동하중에 의한 동적응답은 이동속도가 증가할수록 정하중에 의한 응답보 다 증폭되어 나타나고 증폭비율이 질량효과를 고려할 경우 훨씬 더 커짐을 확인하였다.

  • Small-scale models of reinforced concrete beam-column joints and anchorage-bond specimens were subjected to large cyclic displacements at two rates. To assess damage, free vibration tests were conducted. The reliability of the modeling techniques was established by comparison of the results for the slower rate with those obtained from the full-scale tests on prototype. The higher rate of loading caused a greater damage than that at the slower rate. This was evidenced by the measurements of the stiffness obtained from the free-vibration test. The relatively greater extent of damage appears to result from the different bond behavior at different rates of loading.

  • MABB(Editor's note: Please spell out "MABB" upon first mention)is a new structural type of arch that connects arch ribs and stiffened girders with two internal arches. In this study, the static and dynamic behavior of MABB were analyzed in comparison with those of conventional arches for the investigation of the structural effect of MABB on moving loads. For the purpose of surveying the effect of internal arches on the dynamic behavior of structure, natural frequency and natural vibration mode were investigated and the static and dynamic behavior were analyzed by the method of idealizing train loads as traveling loads consisting of a group of concentrated loads. From the results, the following conclusions were known. First, it is concluded that with MABB, decreasing the section of stiffened girders is possible as compared with conventional arches because the increase of stiffness by internal arches is larger than that of the mass of internal arches. Second, MABB has the advantage of assurance of stability of dynamic behavior because the dynamic behavior of MABB on moving loads is usually investigated in a more stable way than that of conventional arches.

Vibration analysis of the plates subject to dynamic concentrated loads by using spectral element method (스펙트럴요소법을 이용한 동적집중하중을 받는 평판의 진동해석)

  • A spectral element method(SEM) is introduced for the vibration analysis of a rectangular plate subject to dynamic concentrated loads. First, the spectral plate element is derived from the relations between the forces and displacements along the two opposite edges of plate element. The global spectral matrix equation is then formulated by assembling two spectral plate elements so that the dynamic concentrated load is located at the connection nodal line between two plate elements. the concentrated load is then spatially Fourier transformed in the direction of the connection nodal line to transform the two-dimensional plate problem into a simplified equivalent one-dimensional beam-like problem. We may benefit from these procedures in that the spectral results from the present SEM is compared with the exact analytical solutions to prove the remarkable accuracy of the present SEM, while this is not true for conventional finite element solutions, especially at high frequency.

Random Vibration and Harmonic Response Analyses of Upper Guide Structure Assembly to Flow Induced Loads (유체유발하중을 받는 상부안내구조물의 랜덤진동 및 조화응답해석)

  • The cylindrical Upper Guide Structure assembly of the reactor intervals wish the Core Support Barrel and the Inner Barrel Assembly is subjected to flow induced loads horizontally which include random pressure fluctuation due to turbulent flow and pump pulsation pressures. The purpose of this papers is to perform random vibration and harmonic response analyses fort flow induced loads. The dynamic response characteristics due to random turbulence and pump pulsation loads were evaluated using the lumped mass beam model. Especially the model considered the annulus effects due to water gaps existing between cylindrical structures such as the Upper Guide Structure Barrel, the Core Support Barrel, and the Inner Barrel Assembly. The effect of the Inner Barrel Assembly inside the Upper Guide Structure assembly was studied. The peak dynamic responses lot each loading condition due to the addition of IBA were affected by the natural frequencies of the structures. Therefore the peak dynamic responses of the structures should be conservatively obtained from evaluation of dynamic analysis for various loading conditions.

굽힘 곡선을 이용한 공작기계 주축의 취약부 규명

  • 공작기계의 가공정밀도는 공구와 공작물간의 상대변위 크기로서 평가되는데, 이 상대변위는 가공중에 발생 하는 절삭력이 공구-척-주축-기계구조물-안내면-가공테이블-공작물로 이어지는 하중전달 폐곡선을 흐르면서 경로상의 정적, 동적 취약부의 주된 영향을 받아 생기거나 각 요소부품의 변형이 누적되어 생겨난다. 본 연구에서는 주축의 취약부를 규명하기 위하여 정적으로는 정적 처짐곡선을 이용하고, 동적으로는 진동모우드의 굽힘곡선을 이용하여 주축선단의 처짐에 가장 영향을 많이주는 부위를 파악하였다. 취약부의 개선방법으로는 주축지름을 변화시켜 주축선단 근처에서 굽힘이 집중되지 않도록 유도하였다. 그리고 구조개선의 효과를 확인 하기 위해서 기존 주축시스템과 개선 주축시스템의 정적, 동적 특성변화를 비교하였다.

A Time Domain Analysis for Hydroelastic Behavior of a Mat-type Large Floating Structure in Calm Water under Dynamic Loadings by Mode Superposition Method (모드중첩법을 이용한 정수중의 매트형 거대부유구조물의 동하중에 대한 시간영역 유탄성 해석)

  • In this paper, the hydroelastic behavior of a mat-type large floating structure is analyzed in time domain by using mode superposition method. The time-memory function is estimated by Fourier transforming the wave damping coefficients, which are computed by a higher-order boundary element method based on potential theory. Meanwhile, the structural response is obtained by time integrating the eigenmodes of the structure. Numerical examples are made for three test cases on the scaled model of a mat-type large floating structure ; weight pull-up case, weight drop case and weight moving case. In all three cases, the numerical results coincide well with experimental data.
