What Do The Algorithms of The Online Video Platform Recommend: Focusing on Youtube K-pop Music Video (온라인 동영상 플랫폼의 알고리듬은 어떤 연관 비디오를 추천하는가: 유튜브의 K POP 뮤직비디오를 중심으로)

  • In order to understand the recommendation algorithm applied to the online video platform, this study examines the relationship between the content characteristics of K-pop music videos and related videos recommended for playback on YouTube, and analyses which videos are recommended as related videos through network analysis. As a result, the more liked videos, the higher recommendation ranking and most of the videos belonging to the same channel or produced by the same agency were recommended as related videos. As a result of the network analysis of the related video, the network of K-pop music video is strongly formed, and the BTS music video is highly centralized in the network analysis of the related video. These results suggest that the network between K-pops is strong, so when you enter K-pop as a search query and watch videos, you can enjoy K-pop continuously. But when watching other genres of video, K-pop may not be recommended as a related video.

  • Recently, with the expansion of the use of cross media, the public is not just watching the broadcast, but is also consuming various information about actor, stories, products, etc. that appears during the broadcast. However, the devices used for viewing and the devices used for searching are different, which is inconveniences, and due to the differences between the point in time when the desired information is provided through the search, the public has difficulty in obtaining detailed information of the target product after encountering product placement advertisement. In addition, it is difficult for advertisers to confirm the effect of product placement advertising through the reaction of viewers who have encountered product placement advertising. In this paper, we intend to propose an interactive streaming platform that supports the instant retrieval of product information to users by including product placement advertisement information in broadcasting. Through this, viewers can quickly receive detailed information of products on the screen by giving an event when a product of interest comes out while watching the broadcast, and advertisers can check the effectiveness of product placement advertisements by receiving interactive responses from viewers.

Video Transcoding Scheme for N-Screen Service Based on Cloud Computing (클라우드 컴퓨팅에서 N-스크린 서비스를 위한 동영상 트랜스 코딩 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a real-time video transcoding scheme for N-Screen service based on cloud computing. This scheme creates an intro-block and several playback blocks by splitting the original video. And there is the first service request, after transmitting the intro-block, transmits the playback blocks that converting the blocks on real-time. In order to completing trans-coding within playback time of each block, we split and allocate the block to node according to performance of each node. Also, in order to provide real-time video playback service, the previous scheme convert original video into all format and resolution. However we show that the proposed scheme can reduce storage usage by converting original video into format with proper resolution suitable to device and platform of client. Through simulation, we show that it is more effective to real-time video playback for N-screen service than the previous method. We also show that the proposed scheme uses less storage usage than previous method.

  • 최근 대학교는 코로나로 인하여 교육에 언택트를 접목시킬 것과, 학생들에게 필요한 전문지식을 단기간에 효율적으로 습득시킬 것을 요구받고 있다. 이를 위해 학교들은 온라인 교육 플랫폼을 구성함과 동시에, 고효율 교육방법으로서 모듈형 교육과정을 개발하고 있다. 하지만 모듈형 교육과정은 기존 교육과정과 다른 부분이 있어 기존에 활용하던 온라인 교육 플랫폼으로는 모듈형 교육과정을 온전히 제공하기 힘들다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다양한 국내외 온라인 교육 플랫폼을 조사하여 교육에 필요한 기능들을 정리하였다. 또한 다수의 동영상, 퀴즈, 실습, 과제, 그리고 프로젝트로 구성된 모듈형 교육과정을 가정하고 이를 활용하기 위한 기능들을 도출하였다. 이를 기반으로 모듈형 교육과정용 플랫폼의 기능별 구성, 구성요소별 연결 방식, 활용 시나리오를 제안하고, 온라인 기반 모듈형 교육과정 플랫폼을 보다 효율적으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각되며, 향후 모듈형 교육과정을 제공하기 위한 기반을 구성할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

  • In order to recommend contents, the company generally uses collaborative filtering that takes into account both user preferences and video (item) similarities. Such services are primarily intended to facilitate user convenience by leveraging personal preferences such as user search keywords and viewing time. It will also be ranked around the keywords specified in the video. However, there is a limit to analyzing video similarities using limited keywords. In such cases, the problem becomes serious if the specified keyword does not properly reflect the item. In this paper, I would like to propose a system that identifies the characteristics of a video as it is by the system without human intervention, and analyzes and recommends similarities between videos. The proposed system analyzes similarities by taking into account all words (keywords) that have different meanings from training videos, and in such cases, the methods handled by big data clusters are applied because of the large scale of data and operations.

  • IT 기술의 발전으로 온라인 서비스의 혜택과 활용이 늘어나면서 기존의 통신사나 방송사업자 및 제3의 사업자들이 다양한 미디어 콘텐츠를 온라인을 통해 제공하게 되었다. 온라인과 모바일 기술, 플랫폼 사업자의 정책, 콘텐츠 공급자의 인식, 이용자와 이용의 형태가 복합적인 변화로 나타났고, 전문 콘텐츠 제작자뿐만 아니라 1인 제작자를 지원하는 플랫폼도 등장하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 단순 이미지 업로드 방식의 중고판매가 아닌 동영상으로 중고물품에 대한 자세한 정보를 파악할 수 있도록 중고판매를 위한 온라인 1인 쇼핑콘텐츠 영상 제작 플랫폼을 제안한다.

  • This paper studies the current development of personal media and the development of project mapping technology. The speed of social life is speeding up, and information dissemination tends to be fragmented. With the rapid development of mobile technology in recent years, personal media has gradually attracted the attention of people. And now image production and video editing become more and more simple in mobile devices, which provide a basis for the active personal media. The emergence of video content with high creative which is producing by projection mapping. And also providing an attractive new content for the general public. With the popularity of home projector, and the development of mobile terminal projection mapping production application. In the future, it will be possible to use projection mapping to produce personal media contents on the basis of mobile media platform.

  • 동영상 공유 플랫폼의 유저가 늘어남에 따라 영상을 통해 다양한 정보가 공유된다. 하지만 다양한 정보들이 영상으로 제한된 채 사용되고 있다. 이러한 제한점의 개선을 위하여 우리는 유튭콕을 기획하였다. 유튭콕 애플리케이션은 유튜브의 영상 정보를 기반으로 하는 위치 정보 마킹 및 공유 서비스이다. 유튭콕을 통해 관심이 있는 동영상의 정보를 받아와 지도를 생성하여 위치 정보를 가시적으로 확인할 수 있다. 또한 지도 공유 기능을 통해 타 유저와의 공유 서비스를 제공한다.

  • YouTube beauty content channels that utilize various topics and formats are undergoing quantitative and qualitative expansion. This study selected the top five channels represeting major domestic and foreign beauty brands, fashion magazines and beauty influencers through Statista and conducted a case study focusing on them. It will connect to a strategy for increasing beauty-related content by comparing content characteristics according to content producers. Also, it will help to reveal what types of content will be appealing more attractive to consumer. The result has shown that the growth of YouTube platforms has transformed passive consumers into new communicators by diversifying sources of product information. In addition, as content of different type was consumed by different producers, producer-oriented content was produced rather than objective journalistic gaze. Therefore, it was found that the delivery of 'brand values' that can strengthen the relationship between consumers and brands along with various entertainment elements that are effective for millennial in the future.

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate a usability of using fashion and beauty service and suggest better user experience on Instagram's newly released mobile video platform, IGTV. The study expects to be a resource of improving the usability on fashion and beauty contents on IGTV and encourage further research for suggesting better guidelines. As a research method, it will experiment current mobile video service first with literature review. Afterwards, the research conducted tasks and in-depth interview with eight Instagram users to evaluate a usability of using fashion and beauty service on IGTV. As a result, it is able to derive two plans that needed improvement. Firstly, IGTV is required to have high accessibility for user's to use service longer and intuitive user experience. Secondly, unlike previous service that Instagram have offered, IGTV need to differentiate to share and get information of fashion and beauty trends.
