동물들을 사랑하는 전북대 수의학과 동아리 'Vet장이들'이 반려동물과의 성숙된 공존문제에서 한 발 더 나아가 유기 동물 보호 및 고령자 일자리 창출 문제까지 해결하는 소셜 벤처를 창업해 화제이다. 'Vet장이들' 이름에는 Veterinary(수의사)라는 본분을 기억하며 '장이'라는 이름에 걸맞는 이 분야 최고 전문가가 되고자 하는 포부를 담았다. 창업 1년 남짓 되는 짧은 시간에 가시적인 성과를 이루어가고 있는 Vet장이들 김은정 대표를 만나 흥미로운 창업 스토리와 앞으로의 비전을 들어보았다.

The development in IT technology has brought about various services that are on offer based on a new service model. But such new services have increased security risks. The government is operating a program to foster experts in information security to protect assets from the threat of such risks, too. Society's awareness on the importance of information security has also grown, leading to various courses to train such personnel, including membership clubs for the fostering of such specialists. This study seeks to suggest a method that efficiently manages the convergence of running a curriculum on ISMS(information security management systems) and a club that focuses on information protection. Such converged information security courses are expected to contribute to a safer IT-based society.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between image of nurses and nursing professional values in nursing students. Data were collected through self reported structured questionnaire using convenient sampling methods survey from 147 students enrolled in the nursing department from March 11 to March 22, 2013. There was a significant difference in the image of nurses on the club activities, satisfaction with major, satisfaction with college life. There was a significant difference in the nursing professional values according to the satisfaction with major. Image of nurses has positively correlation with nursing professional values. 'Social participation' domain of image of nurses has a strong positive correlation with nursing professional values. 'Self concept of profession' domain of nursing professional values has a strong positive correlation with image of nurses. Therefore, it is thought that developing various teaching strategies, promoting club activities, paying attention to the student, and guiding them for raising degree of satisfaction with major and college life would be helpful to improve nurse' image and nursing professional values of nursing students.

In modern society, the importance of leisure has been already recognized widely. Recently, interest in participation in more active leisure activities is growing. Furthermore, environmental concerns stemmed from global warming came to the fore. Thus, the purpose of the current study was to examine the effect of recreation specialization representing people who are participating in more active leisure activities on environmental attitudes. A total of 393 college students participating in physically active club activities were selected for this study. Main findings were as follows; First, overall recreation specialization had strong positive effect on environmental attitude. Second, out of sub-factors of recreation specialization, affective specialization had positive influence on environmental attitude. Finally, out of sub-factors of affective specialization, attraction positively affected environmental attitude. This study suggests that individuals who participate in leisure activities more actively are more conscious of environmental problems.

The objective of this study was to investigate factors influencing leadership life skills of self esteem and club activities by nursing students. Participants were 331 nursing students in 3 cities. The data were analyzed with the SPSS/Win 20.0 programs, using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression. Findings revealed that; 1) Pearson's correlation revealed a significant association among leadership life skills and self esteem; 2) hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed self esteem and major satisfaction significantly influenced leadership life skills in nursing students. The regression model explained 29.6% of leadership life skills. These findings can be utilized to development of strategies for increasing leadership life skills of nursing students.

This study investigated the extraction algorithm fitting for variables of adolescents' computer use type with the sample from KYPS data (3409 in the second grade of the junior high school; 1704 boys and 1705 girls). The results of the decision tree model revealed that : (1) Gender, computer use time, misdeed friends, parent supervision, other agreement of misdeed, parent study expectation, self-control, teacher attachment, and sibling relation were significant for entertainment type. (2) Gender, cyberclub, computer use time, self-belief, online misdeed were significant for relation type. (3) Study enthusiasm, personal study time, optimistic disposition, study and spare time, cyberclub, self-belief, and other people criticism were significant for information type. These results suggest that adolescents' diverse conditions should be considered for using computer more efficiently.

This study investigates convergent influence on college life adaptation and its association with life stress, depression and ego resiliency among of nursing students. The data of life stress, depression and ego resiliency on college life adaptation was collected for the nursing students of G city from Dec. 5th 2015 to Feb. 8th 2016. There was a significant difference in life stress, college life adaptation according to club experience and grade level, depression according to best friend and ego resiliency according to satisfaction with major. Adaptation to college life was negatively correlated with life stress and it was positively correlated with ego resiliency. Life stress and ego resiliency is a significant predictor of college life adaptation in nursing students. Their explanatory power was 32.9%. In order to help nursing college students to adapt to college life well, it will be necessary to provide the intervention to decrease the degree of life stress and to the improvement convergence program on ego resiliency.

The purpose of this study was to examine the academic achievement and college life experience of students in Cambodia and to analyze the effects of college life experiences on academic achievement of college students in Cambodia. The questionnaire survey was conducted using the 'College Student Experiences Questionnaire (CSEQ)' questionnaire of 524 students from five universities in the city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The data were analyzed using hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study showed that the experiences of college students 'Computer and Information Technology', 'Course Learning', 'Club and Organization' had positive effects on academic achievement. The implications of this study are as follows: First, colleges have to install more infrastructure for students to easily use computers and the Internet inside the school, and to provide programs to develop ICT skills to all students. Second, college-based efforts are needed to improve the quality of lectures for providing the students' knowledge and skills. Third, students' club and organization participation should be set up in college to find ways to improve students' academic achievement.

The study selected the K Sand Art Lifelong Learning Instructor Circle as an example, focusing on learner interest-inducing factor and educational effects of Sand Art techniques, which are gaining interest in lifelong education. First, the factors that increase the interest-inducing effect of learners are to recognize sand art techniques as sand games, to tell stories and tones, to express them in sandboxes, and to express subjects of interest to learners. Second, in the field of lifelong education, sand art techniques are educationally effective in psychological therapy, improving concentration, improving self-confidence, developing expressiveness and creativity, and developing five senses. Third, sand art techniques are applied to all generations in the field of lifelong education, and sand art techniques can be used in civic participation education, basic literacy education, and culture and arts education among the six classes of lifelong education. Fourth, future tasks will be to support the training of sand art experts, support sand art materials and equipment, and spread sand art programs that visit various targets.
