  • 액체와 액체를 교반할 경우 혹은 두가지 이상의 상이 함께 반응하는 화학공정의 경 우에서는 비상용성인 액체들을 난류조건하에 분산시켜 섞이게 한다. 부산계로 구성된 중합 반응기의 경우 분산입자의 크기는 최종제품의 생산성 및 품질에 큰 영향을 미치게 되므로 분산입자의 크기를 예측하는 것은 대단히 중요하다. 이러한 분산계에서 분산입자의 크기는 분산입자가 겪는 유동장에 의해 결정된다. 오일/오일 분산계로 이루어진 고분자 유탁액의 난류교반시 유동장은 종종 점성전단 부영역에 속하게 되는데 이경우의 분산입자의 크기를 예측하는 모델에 대한 연구는 별로 이루어지지않았다. 본연구에서는 오일/오일 분산계의 고 분자 유탁액에 대한 분산입자의 크기를 예측하는 모델식을 유체동력학적인 이론을 배경으로 하여 개발하였다. 개발한 모델식을 난류교반을 겪은 오일/오일 분산계를 거쳐 생산된 제품 인 내충격성 폴리스티렌으로 검증하여 모델식의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • High-speed train of push-pull type called as G7 train has been developed and chosen as the model of KTX-II which will be operated on Honam Line nexr year. However, the EMU-type high-speed train appeared to be the recent trend that foreign markets have shown. Also, in the near future, a great number of new train sets are needed to accommodate the increased passengers in our country. Thus, development of the high-speed EMU was decided, planned, and started. In the development, included were almost all fundamental key technologies such as noise and vibration reduction in a passenger cabin, running characteristics, aerodynamic analysis, crashworthiness evaluation, EMI/EMC analysis, design of the cooling system for the propulsion control system, enhanced performance of transformer and switching converters, synchronous traction motor with permanent magnets, new design of front nose and ergonomic interiors, application of advanced information technology(IT) and smart sensors and the cost reduction of construction of railway bridges, etc. Each key technologies are carried out as sub-project independently but under the supervision of a project. The project will develop the high advanced level of technologies and provide necessary know-why's and support the team in charge of the development of the high-speed EMU, Hyundai Rotem Co. Ltd. The high-speed EMU will be successfully developed with the support of the project.

  • Technologically advanced railway countries had a unique ability to design, test and evaluation systems for development of High-speed train system. To evaluate the performance of the train system in Korea for the development of advanced measurement technology and systems are needed. In this study, the Overall Measuring System(OMS) is going to be established to efficiently verify the performance, stability and reliability of the train system and the components, and verify of the maximum speed though an on-line test. OMS consist of vehicle measuring system, pantograph measuring system, video monitoring system and monitoring room was constructed for the overall measuring system and monitoring system. The results of this study were expected to contribute to technical improvement for evaluation of train system.

  • Recently, the smart sensors and USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) technologies are emerging. Smart sensors add the capability of storing local temporary data, processing instant operations, transmitting information outward, to the simple sensing devices. The USN is a wireless network of sensor/smart sensors that can collect data anywhere anytime and exchange the data within the network. In this research, case studies are performed on the smart sensors and USN applications. The cases were grouped in four categories, domestic private, domestic public, foreign private, and foreign public. Based on that survey, promising applications will be proposed and developed to be implemented to the next generation high-speed EMU.

  • This paper presents the current and speed controller design procedure and their performance for the IPMSM based next generation high speed railway traction system. The next generation high speed railway system is a power distributed type and uses vector control method for a motor speed control. Since the speed and current controller gains of the vector control system directly affects to the transient characteristics and speed control capability, the systematic design of the controllers are required. In this paper the controllers are designed using the IPMSM based next generation high speed railway system parameters. Simulation programs based on Matlab/Simulink is developed. Finally the controller characteristics are analyzed by the simulation results.

  • Needs for a new technologies of infrastructure systems arose, following the development of next generation EMU(Electric Multiple Unit) train with maximum speed over 400km/h. For high-speed operation tests of the new EMU, a high-speed railway infrastructure test-bed was constructed in a 28km long section of the Honam High-speed Railway. Diverse sensors and monitoring system was installed for continuous monitoring of the railway. Due to such effort, further demands and needs of the integrated monitoring system was derived in a more comprehensive and long-term perspective.

  • Tilting train has been developed to increase the operational speed of the trains on conventional lines which have many curves. This train are lilted at curves to compensate for unbalanced carbody centrifugal acceleration to a greater extent than compensation produced by the track cant so that passengers do not feel centrifugal acceleration and thus trains can run at higher speed at curves. This paper developed tilting train to evaluate train performance of TTX(korean tilting train express) with maximum operation speed 160 km/h on Ho_nam Conventional Rail[1].

  • 조립식 빗물침투형 저류블록은 우수유출 저감시설로, 황토 및 친환경 무기질 결합재를 이용하여 제작한 고강도 투수성 블록의 적층 및 요철에 의한 끼움식 조립에 의해 형성된 공간에 빗물을 저류하고, 저장된 빗물은 시간이 지남에 따라 지반으로 침투시키는 우수유출 저감용 빗물관리시설로, 집중강우 시 유출수가 발생하는 해당지역에 분산식으로 설치하여 국지적 호우 발생에 대처할 수 있으며, 지속적인 침투를 통한 지하수위 확보 및 가뭄현상의 저감은 물론, 미기후 조성과 건전한 물순환 구조 형성에 이바지하는 빗물관리기술이다. 본 기술은 집중형 대규모 빗물저류조의 적용상의 문제점과 단순저류의 한계성을 극복하고, 기존 침투시설의 낮은 침투능을 증대시키고자 저류기능과 침투기능을 동시에 확보하여 집중호우시 빠른 침투저류능을 향상시킨 조립식 빗물침투형 저류시설이다. 보다 구체적으로는 집중강우에 대한 방재적 측면과 함께 가뭄으로 발생하는 지하수위 저하 등에 친환경적으로 대응하기 위한 복합적인 빗물관리 기술로서, 빗물 유출저감과 함께 물순환 회복 및 저영향개발을 위한 각 지자체의 지침과도 부합될 수 있다. 또한, 콘크리트 제품의 환경적 문제점과 플라스틱 제품의 낮은 물성을 극복하였고, 시공 시에는 보다 현장상황에 맞게 가변적 형태로 적용이 가능한 단순조립 적층공법으로 공기단축에 탁월한 장점이 있으며, 유지관리 시에는 별도의 동력이 요구되지 않는 형태로 개발하였다. 조립식 빗물침투저류블록의 구조체를 이루는 단위 블록유닛은 투수성 소재로 제작되며, 상하부가 개방되어 있고 사각형의 내부에 힘을 받는 격벽과 전후벽이 상호 대응되는 요철로 형성되어 있으며, 단위블록 유닛 다수개가 수직수평으로 연속적으로 조립되어 규모의 제한, 형태의 제한이 없는 구조물 형성이 가능하다. 본 구조체의 저류공극율은 80%이상 확보 가능하며, 또한 블록자체의 투수율이 0.83mm/sec로서 순모래나 순자갈의 포화투수계수보다 투수율이 높아 침투저류 효율성이 높으며 시공 후 상부 토지는 자유롭게 활용 가능하다. 본 조립식 빗물 침투형 저류블록을 이용하여 저영향개발 계획, 우수유출 저감대책 수립, 빗물관리시설 계획시 기존의 시설들에 비하여 경제적, 효율적인 설계가 가능하다.
