The Effect of Voice Therapy Applying Self-Regulation Concepts on Dysphonia Patients (자기 조절 개념을 적용한 음성치료 기법이 발성장애 환자에게 미치는 효과)

  • Background and Objectives : The goal of this study is to present a strategy for improving the self-regulation (SR) ability and facilitating the change of vocal behavior by applying voice therapy using the SR concept to the patients with vocal cord nodule and muscle tension dysphonia. Materials and Method : The subjects were 80 patients and 80 patients who were diagnosed with muscle tension dysphonia and vocal nodules. As a control group, the results were compared among patients with the same dysphonia without using SR strategies. The concept of SR before voice therapy was explained to the patients, and the treatment was divided into three stages according to the goal of voice therapy. The treatment stages consist of 1) skill acquisition, 2) habit formation, and 3) habit changes. voice therapy was performed by applying SR strategies such as goal implementation intentions and a less routine behavior. Patient's dropout rates were measured to compare the adherence of voice therapy. Results : Significant improvement was seen in all groups receiving voice therapy. However, in the group using the SR strategy, the voice analysis results showed a relatively low dropout rate of voice therapy. In the generalization confirmation stage, patients who applied SR concept showed better results. SR strategy did no longer be necessary to maintain newly adopted vocal behavior. Conclusion : The results of this study show that SR is one of the cognitive factors that can have a significant impact on the outcome of voice therapy, and also has a positive impact on the acquisition and generalization of new skills. A better understanding of SR and the development of therapeutic strategies using it will play an important role in solving voice problems in clinical settings.

Evaluation of RPL Glass Dosimeter Characteristics and Uncertainty Evaluation of Reading Correction Factors (유리선량계 특성평가 및 판독 보정인자에 대한 불확도 평가)

  • In this study, basic characteristics such as reproducibility, linearity, and directionality of RPL glass dosimeters were evaluated to improve the reliability of dose evaluation through RPL glass dosimeters, and uncertainty elements such as sensitivity by glass element and magazine slot sensitivity were evaluated. Using a mathematical model to calibrate the measured values of the RPL glass dosimeter, the measurement uncertainty was calculated assuming an example. As a result of the characteristic evaluation, the RPL glass dosimeter showed excellent performance with a standard deviation of ±1% (1 SD) for the reproducibility of the reading process, a coefficient of determination for linearity of 0.99997. And the read-out of the RPL glass dosimeter are affected by the circular rotation direction of the glass dosimeter during irradiation, fading according to the period after irradiation, the number of laser pulses of the reader, and response degradation due to repeated reading, it is judged that measurement uncertainty can be reduced by irradiation and reading in consideration of these factors. In addition, it was confirmed that the dose should be determined by calculating the correction factors for the sensitivity of each element and, the sensitivity of each reading magazine slot. It is believed that the reliability of dosimetry using glass dosimeters can be improved by using a mathematical model for correction of glass dosimeter readings and calculating measurement uncertainty.

  • The study aims to analyze the effects of attracting companies from Seoul Metropolitan Area on regional value-added and employment using a regional input output model and to suggest the most appropriate categories in attracting business based on the result from the analysis. It is assumed that large manufacturing companies in Seoul Metropolitan Area are relocated to 5+2 supra-economic region in this paper. The result shows that selection of categories in attracting businesses should be depend on the characteristic of regional industrial structure. Also, it is derived that establishing a differentiated strategy in attracting businesses is essential.

  • The purpose of this study are as follows. First, to analyze relative LQ index of the No. of game company, the No. of employee and the amount of revenue. Second, to analyze personal competence, resource competence, performance competence, network competence and environmental competence of regional game contents R&D. The results are as follows. The LQ index results of company are highest in seoul and Kyunggi area' And In case of except of seoul & kyunggi, the competence of R&D which is daekyung, dongnam, chungcheong are in order. In case of 5 game R&D competence, chungchung, seoul & kyunggi, honam region are in order. The core competence of chungchung region are ideal venture ecosystem among inter-supportive R&D research center, ETRI, university and company.

  • 단상 AC 콘덴서 유도전동기(분포권 방식 적용)는 소형 가전제품의 송풍용 모터로 활용되고 있는데, 이 전동기의 가장 큰 장점은 가격이 저렴하다는 것이다. 현재는 제조 원가가 싼 동남아시아에서 공급하고 있는 형편이다. 이로 인해 종래 모터와 비교해서 동일 특성을 가지고 원가 절감을 할 수 있는 집중권 방식의 AC 콘덴서 유도 전동기의 개발이 필요하다. 집중권 방식은 기존 분포권 방식에 비해 제조 공정이 간단하고Coil-Ending 길이가 짧아 재료비의 저감을 가져올 수 있다. 집중권 방식의 문제인 고조파 문제 해결을 위해 Skew의 도입을 검토하고 슬롯 형상 등을 고려하여 설계한 후 유한요소기법을 이용한 시변 자장 해석 기법을 이용하여 해석해 보았다.

  • 많은 미래예측서들 중에 동남아를 중심으로 한 태평양 연안의 발전을 낙관적으로 조망한 책들이 다수 끼어 있다. 미래의 바다로 예견되는 태평양권의 발전은 일본을 비롯한 '네 마리 용'의 역할에 따라 변화가 예상된다는 것이 필자들의 한결같은 주장이다. 한편 한반도의 통일이 국제정치와 경제에 많은 영향을 끼칠 것이라는 예견도 있어 관심을 끈다.

A Longitudinal Study on e-Service Quality Dimension to Each Period of Korea Wave for Rediffusion in Southeast Asia using QFD (QFD를 이용한 동남아시아 한류재확산을 위한 e-서비스 품질차원의 한류시점별 종단분석 연구)

  • Since the late 1990s, the Korea wave has been very big issue among Asian nations. It has been increased in some regions including Russia, East Europe, South America but it has been decreased in some regions including Southeast Asia, Japan and China. The stream of Korea wave has been changed until now. We need a study considering on the time period of Korea wave. So this paper shows several implications from some changes by each time period of Korea wave for Southeast Asia cultural regions. In order to achieve objectives of the paper, we collected and classified 2511 requirements from bulletin board systems and e-mails. It shows how to improve e-service quality and to enhance nation brand utilizing types of requirements of Southeast Asia cultural regions and by the time period of Korea wave using QFD methodology. These implications are applied to design a tourism website for Southeast Asia cultural region.

  • This study has the objective of proposing the basic data for the political and administrative support needs so that the Echo generation can be prepared with the supper-aged society, by verifying the perception level and degree of necessity about the outplacement support service, whether they want to be serviced or not, and necessary contents in the service with the employed people and non-employed people as objects among the Echo generation in the Southeast region. The study result derived from these effort is illustrated as follows. The perception level of the Echo generation about outplacement support service showed to be significantly different according to the gender, age, industry type, and career. The degree of needs was significantly different depending on the age. For the provision period of the outplacement support service, the opinions were that 3 months before the retirement was most appropriate. The intention of participation when the outplacement support service is provided showed to be significantly different depending on the age.

Interfacial Adhesion Properties of Enamel-coated Alloyed Steels (법랑 처리된 합금강판의 계면밀착특성 연구)

  • The interfacial adhesion properties of enamel-coated, alloyed steels were in detail characterized by spectroscopic techniques. The surfaces of alloyed steels existed as oxidized states of $Fe_3O_4$. Therefore, the oxidized surfaces of the steels significantly interacted with the coated enamels for the adhesion. Ti-alloyed steel showed many micro-boundaries during thermal treatment and these micro-boundaries might cause the decline of the interfacial adhesion between enamel and steel. The depth profiles of enamel-coated, alloyed steels were investigated by GDS (glow discharge spectroscopy) and Ti component was found to be related to the interfacial adhesion between enamel and steel.

Evaluation Internal Radiation Dose of Pediatric Patients during Medicine Tests Using Monte Carlo Simulation (몬테칼로 시뮬레이션을 이용한 소아 핵의학검사 시 인체내부 장기선량 평가)

  • In this study, a physical evaluation of internal radiation exposure in children was conducted using nuclear medicine test(Renal DTPA Dynamic Study) to simulate the distribution and effects of the radiation throughout the tracer kinetics over time. Monte Carlo simulations were performed to determine the internal medical radiation exposure during the tests and to provide basic data for medical radiation exposure management. Specifically, dose variability based on changes in the tracer kinetic was simulated over time. The internal exposure to the target organ (kidney) and other surrounding organs was then quantitatively evaluated and presented. When kidney function was normal, the dose to the target organ(kidney) was approximately 0.433 mGy/mCi, and the dose to the surrounding organs was approximately 0.138-0.266 mGy/mCi. When kidney function was abnormal, the dose to the surrounding organs was 0.228-0.419 mGy/mCi. This study achieved detailed radiation dose measurements in highly sensitive pediatric patients and enabled the prediction of radiation doses according to kidney function values. The proposed method can provide useful insights for medical radiation exposure management, which is particularly important and necessary for pediatric patients.
