  • 여러 해동안 데이터 웨어하우징을 위한 메타데이터의 중요성을 피력한 자료들이 출판되어 왔다. 간단히 말해 메타데이터는 데이터에 관한 정보이며, 상용 이용자들에게 뿐만 아니라 데이터 웨어하우징 관리자들과 개발자들을 위해서 중요한 역할을 한다. 메타데이터가 없다면 상용 이용자들은 자신들이 여행하는 도시에 관한 정보가 없는 관광객들 같은 꼴일 것이며, 데이터 웨어하우징 관리자들은 자신들이 관리하는 도시의 크기와 그 도시가 얼마나 빠르게 팽창하는지에 관한 정보가 없는 행정 관리들과 같은 꼴이 될 것이다.

Application of B-Grade Cultural Contents to Small City Marketing Strategy: Focused on the Case of Chungju City, Korea (B급 문화콘텐츠의 활용을 통한 소도시 마케팅 전략: 충주시의 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to understand the possibility of small city marketing strategies using B-grade cultural contents. This research focused on the case of Chungju City which applied B-grade cultural contents to city marketing. The process using B-grade cultural contents to small city marketing was investigated and hash-tags and comments on social media were coded and analyzed based on grounded theory. Also, the details were examined through in-depth interviews with the local government official in charge. The result has shown the characteristics of B-grade cultural contents describing the differences from the original B-grade culture as subcuture. First, publicity materials showed the characteristics of general B-grade culture such as retro, puns, and escape, showing the process of communication/participation/empathy. Second, improbability, intertextuality, extensibility, subversiveness, and authenticity were the five main factors for responses and empathy from the audience. Third, the ripple effect was formed through the simple narrative structure of 'intro-conclusion'. Finally B-grade cultural contents of Chungju showed new possibilities for sustainable small city marketing through the formation of new cultural assets.

Negative Effects of City Slogan on the Retrieval of City Memory Unrelated to the Slogan (도시슬로건이 도시기억의 인출에 미치는 부정적 영향 :슬로건과 관련 없는 도시기억을 중심으로)

  • This study tests the hypotheses that city slogan reduces the retrieval of city memory unrelated to the slogan from the long term memory and that some variables moderate this effect, using the experimental method. The theoretical basis for the hypotheses is from the structure of the long term memory and the principle of memory retrieval discussed in ANM(Associative Network Model). For the test of hypotheses, the study adopted 4 experimental groups (2(slogan relevance: high or low) * 2(slogan concreteness: high or low)) and 1 control group. Each experimental group was exposed to one slogan corresponding to its condition while the control group was not. Then, the recall score was compared among experimental and control groups. One hundred and seventy-four undergraduate students belonging to the college of the authors participated in the study. The sample group was between 18 and 27 years of age, with an average of 22.4 years, and 54 percent comprised males. Results showed that city slogan had a negative effect on the retrieval of city memory unrelated to the slogan in most experimental conditions. This effect was more evident when the slogan had high relevance or high concreteness. But the main effect did not appear when the slogan had low relevance and low concreteness.

Improvement of Multi-Dimensional Urban Planning System for Urban Regeneration (도시재생 측면에서 입체도시계획의 기능과 제도 개선 방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the cases related to the multi-dimensional urban planning and its related systems that can contribute to the urban regeneration as the policies and projects for stereoscopic city increase. Through the case analysis, urban regeneration function and role of multi-dimensional urban planning are identified as connection of places, activation of local economy, expansion of infrastructure and supply of housing. In the institutional sector, private participation is hindered due to the ban on the establishment of the right to hold state property. In addition, it is difficult to utilize the three-dimensional urban space without land securing at a certain rate based on uniform installation standards of the two-dimensional land use plan, and the problem of insufficient interconnection between law and institution is derived. In conclusion, it should actively support and promote the promotion of the three-dimensional facility with the aim of diversifying the regional infrastructure structure and strengthening the urban function. In addition, development of stereoscopic and compound development should be promoted for old urban areas, and parking lots, underground shopping malls, parking lots, etc. should be installed using the subspaces of parks, schools, roads and traditional markets of old residential areas. Finally, cooperation between the central government, the municipalities and the private sector is necessary for the realization of these urban regeneration projects.

  • Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE), which is one of the construction environment evaluation methods, is a series of processes that ask about the functional requirements and satisfaction of an object from a life cycle perspective such as design/construction/residence. However, there are no POE research activities targeting large-scale units. On the other hand, large-scale third-phase new towns are being developed. Therefore, this study conducted a post-residence evaluation (POE) research activity in a large-scale unit (Multifunctional Administrative City). The procedure of this study is to conduct a literature survey on the current status and implications of the multi-functional administrative city area, and based on the research data, derive the Happy City evaluation index for the major issues and special issues of the Happy City. Afterwards, 450 questionnaires were conducted for the residents of Happy City, and POE analysis was performed on the derived data for each module. And based on the analysis results, implications such as problems and improvement points for the current status of the Happy City were derived. This can be used as a basis for the expansion of a large-scale new city into a self-sufficient city, and it can be used as a basic data for the development and improvement of a happy city that meets social needs in the future.

Case Study for Improving Service Design: Focusing on Gamcheon Culture Village (서비스디자인 개선을 위한 사례분석 : 감천문화마을을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the cultural needs of foreign tourists, to investigate the cultural service elements that can be provided in 'Gamcheon Culture Village', to suggest concrete policy to improve cultural services, and ultimately to cultivate excellent international tourism culture brands in 'Gamcheon Culture Village'. In order to find out the cultural needs of foreign tourists, we conducted a case study on 'Gamcheon Culture Village' among the places where the urban regeneration proceeded. The study period was four months, and basic data were collected from foreign tourists from six countries through literature reviews, interviews and participation observation. Analysis of data was based on urban regeneration, cultural desire and service design theory, and we conducted content analysis. This study presented five cultural service goals of 'Gamcheon Culture Village'. First, it displays and promotes local characteristic culture. Second, it develops and sells cultural products. Third, it brings up a good tourist image. Fourth, it provides an unusual food. Fifth, cultural experience optimization. Through this study, it is expected to help improve the cultural service of 'Gamcheon Culture Village'.
