인터넷이 발달함으로써 기존에 아날로그 콘텐츠들을 디지털 콘텐츠로 이용하게 되고, 오프라인의 불편한 점을 온라인으로 이용함으로써 해결하게 되었다. 디지털 콘텐츠의 발달로 인해 다양한 분야에서 디지털 콘텐츠를 이용하여 오프라인 시스템을 대체하게 되었다. 기존의 오프라인 온라인 도서관의 경우 사용자가 직접 도서관을 방문하여 이용해야 하고 도서관이 보유하고 있는 책의 종류가 적고, 부족한 장서로 인한 불편함이 있다. 이를 디지털 콘텐츠화하여 e-Book으로 이용하게 되었으며, 온라인으로 디지털화된 콘텐츠를 이용함으로써 편리하게 도서관을 이용할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 디지털 콘텐츠의 공유가 쉽다는 특성으로 인해 무분별한 유포로 출처를 찾기 어렵고, 해당 콘텐츠의 저작권 문제, 무단 복제로부터 안전한 시스템이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 문제점을 해결하고자 디지털 콘텐츠 서비스를 이용하고, 콘텐츠를 암호화하여 DRM 시스템을 이용하여 무단 배포를 방지하고 저작권을 보호할 수 있는 안전하고 편리한 온라인 도서관을 이용하도록 하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

This study conducted a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of library services using YouTube through content analysis of YouTube content and emotional response analysis of user comments. This study analyzed 2,169 YouTube contents and 6,487 comments of users from 61 university libraries. The results showed that the number of 'data' content was the largest among 4 categories, followed by 'communication' and 'education' content, and 'promotion' content. Among the sub-classifications, the number of 'information services' contents was the largest. In the analysis of users' emotional responses to YouTube content, the major categories of users' emotional responses were 'data' content and 'communication' content. Most of the user's emotional responses were positive in all categories of content, and the most frequent user emotional expression was 'good'. In addition, the vocabulary used in the user's emotional response was more about the person appearing in the video than the expression of the content of YouTube contents.

The purpose of this study was to present a content curation strategy of the university library to support user learning and research. As a method to achieve the purpose of the study, first, the concept of content curation was examined through literature research. After that, implications were found by analyzing the cases of content curation services such as university libraries, national libraries, and content companies. As a result of the study, five strategies for successful content curation of university libraries were proposed: providing high quality contents, performing preemptive information service roles, keep content up to date, securing interactivity through user participation, and developing personalization algorithms.

The purpose of this study is to derive implications through a comparison of the current status of catalog enriched content services provision in U.S. public libraries and domestic public libraries. In addition, we are seeking ways to improve the catalog enriched content services for domestic public libraries in the future. From early September to mid-October 2023, specific books were searched on public library websites in the U.S. and Korea, and the functions of the enriched content services shown in the search results were compared. The results are as follows: First, domestic public library enriched content services require a separate company to develop and provide an enriched content services solution. Second, the enriched content services platform must discover domestic information sources that can be utilized in the areas of book-centered, book recommendation, and community engagement. Third, it is necessary to develop enriched content using public data such as the Library Information Naru. Fourth, each integrated library must that data generated from local community engagement services can be utilized as an enriced content service.

During the COVID-19 period, public libraries produced and provided a variety of online contents to users as an alternative to offline services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the overall management of online contents in public libraries in the post COVID-19 period and to provide a methodological basis for improving online contents management. This study surveyed the overall current state of online content management in 305 public libraries in terms of production, services, and preservation. We also analyzed the librarian's perception of the online contents management process. As a result of the analysis even after the COVID-19 period, public libraries are efficiently producing and providing online contents and are actively providing this through the library website and social media. In addition, librarians recognized that online contents produced by public libraries are valuable as library resources and predicted that the online content would be produced more in the future. Also, they faced difficulties in production and management due to a lack of professional capabilities and extra workload, but they have recognized the high need for online contents management. Online contents is leading a paradigm shift in public library services. Therefore, attention and effort to activate online content is no longer an option but a necessity.

정보기술의 발전은 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 학습자와 전문가의 상호작용을 이루어주는 온라인 기반 교육서비스인 이러닝을 대학도서관에서 이용자에게 온라인 서비스로 제공하기 시작했다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관에서 제공하는 이러닝 콘텐츠의 현황을 설립유형, 지역별, 규모별로 구분하여 비교 분석하는 것이다. 이를 통해 오늘날 대학도서관에서 중점적으로 제공하는 이러닝 콘텐츠를 파악하여 향후 이용자의 대학도서관 이러닝 콘텐츠 선호도와 만족도 등의 연구에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

This study aims to present a direction for local libraries on how to collect folk culture content and provide services in cooperation with public libraries across the country, with a focus on public libraries, in implementing the government policy to collect, classify, store, research, and utilize folk culture content. Results of the study drawn from literature review, surveys, case-studies are as follows: First, based on the advantage of higher accessibility than other institutions in charge of folk culture content provision, libraries should take a role to collect, store, and utilize folk culture content for public purpose of improving knowledge and interests of residents and storing local history. Second, folk culture content collection, enhanced content-creating, and user-oriented services reflecting various demands should be expanded, seeking ways to improve management conditions of folk culture content based on collaboration network between libraries, along with drawing interests and support from the local government and the central government. Thirdly, libraries should provide expanded services of collection, creation, use of folk culture content with a focus on local culture through regular and systematic study and building of folk culture content.

The public library strives to foster information use by the public, cultural activities, reading, and life-long education. Public libraries are firmly rooted in local societies providing services that reflect the needs and characteristics of those local communities, while at the same time are structured in a coherent nation-wide network. This study examines practices of managing local cultural contents and proposes ways in which public libraries, as central information hubs in local communities, can provide diverse knowledge information and cultural programs, and local culture contents.

The purpose of this study is to review information services in public libraries based on web sites. Four evaluation criteria. interface. searching, contents and communication are usually used to measure web sites.
