The purpose of this study is to research the concepts of reading ability and debate ability, and the components of both abilities and to make the performance assessment's standards to apply them to the classroom for reading debate in the school libraries. For doing this, I studied the necessity of reading debate, assessment, and the components of reading/debate abilities. The components of the reading and debate abilities were derived from the theoretical researches and the performance assessment's standards for the reading debate were proposed in the viewpoint of the teacher librarians and classroom teachers in the school libraries in order that the teacher librarians and teachers could apply them to the reading debate classes and assess the performance achievement of the students.

The knowledge-based society needs creative and active knowledge workers. To meet the need of this modern society, Korea education begins to focus on reading ability of students and project-based school education. The 7th School Education Program requires performance evaluation, optional activites, and extracurricular activites and the school library is a necessary facility for these educational activities. Ministry of Education of Korea made a master plan to rebuild the school library for The 7th School Education Program. The master plan includes the assistance for the school library facility, school library materials, budget, the library staff. And also the master plan includes promotion for school education in the library to develop the school library as the center of school education.

In this research, we have identified problems and countermeasures when school library provides information literacy service in liaison with school curriculum. The problems were misunderstanding information literacy as ICT skills, lack of books and librarians, and etc. So we emphasize importance of library and information in information literacy. And for countermeasures, we provide online guide to library resources, 'BIG6 problem solving model' for information literacy teaching-learning, teaching-learning plans for information literacy, formats for teaching-learning process.

The purpose of this study is to propose a design model for school library based instruction under EduTech. EduTech-based education expands learning boundaries and requires new instructional environments and learning experiences for learner-centered deeper learning. Accordingly, this study modified the ADDIE model based on the system theory and presented a four-stage instructional design model (draft) consisting of 'analysis stage, preliminary learning and development stage, learning management stage, and team teaching evaluation stage.' This model reflects elements of flipped learning, the backward design model, and inquiry-based learning to develop of customized student materials and inquiry activities. In addition, the scope of learning was expanded to include prior learning, face-to-face learning, and additional learning to increase the diversity of collaboration and opportunities to utilize school library materials. Also, Several ways for school library based instruction within EduTec were proposed in terms of teacher librarians' expertise, school library space, budget, standard curriculum development, and comprehensive support system for reading education.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the construct model of teaching competency in teacher librarian. For this purpose, this study compares and analysis the existing literature of which teaching competency of subject teacher and teacher librarian competency standard. The teaching competency model of teacher librarian was designed with the result of compares and analysis. The suggested model composed of 3 process: (1) instructional design, (2) Instruction Implementation, (3) Instruction evaluation. It is also suggested that construct of isolated instruction and cooperative instruction. This study can be helpful to development a in-service program of teacher librarian and curriculum of Teacher librarian education.

The purpose of this study is to identify characteristics of secondary school teachers' perceptions and experiences of school libraries and to suggest strategies for its' activation. In order to achieve this aim, the questionnaire survey was conducted for 229 secondary school teachers who participated in K university qualification training in 2017. As a result, they recognize that school libraries are an essential facility and that continuous support and investment are needed. They think that the effectiveness of the school library is very helpful for creating a leisure and cultural life and for stimulating reading atmosphere and education, and this perception is stronger at lower ages. The number of school library use of them is as low as once a month, and the purpose of use is mainly for cultivation and leisure. The discomfort of the school library is mostly due to lack of materials and space for them. In particular, they have a lack of knowledge and necessity about the method of library-based instruction and insufficient preparation time and poor materials. Teachers are highly aware of the need and utility of training, and prefer training with peers. Therefore, it is necessary to develop strategies such as remodeling space and increasing collections for their study and instruction, and foster peer supervision so that they can actively utilize school library in subjects management.

도서관에 대한 올바른 이용과 이해는 초등학교에서부터 출발해야 한다. 도서관 이용 교육은 국가 수준의 교육과정에서 인정받는 것이 중요할 뿐만 아니라 정규 교과서에 반영하여 교과 수업 시간에 지도할 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 일본은 문부과학성에서 고시한 ‘학습지도요령’에 의거 국어 교과서에 다각적인 도서관 이용 교육을 실시하고 있다. 본 연구는 일본의 소학교 국어 교과서에 반영된 도서관 이용 교육을 분석하여 앞으로 우리 나라 초등학교 국어 교과서 개발에 참고 자료가 되고자 한다.

This paper aims to suggest new strategies for operating school library digital resource room by analyzing the current states of 349 school library digital resource room and its educational effects. The project for school library digital resource room provided the foundations for the various informational and educational services : extended information materials, changes in library environment, collecting information through the web sites, providing authentic materials, reading instruction, library assisted instruction (LAI). The suggestions are as follows. 1) The national standards is required for the digital resources room in school libraries. 2) Reading and information literacy instruction should be institutionalized. 3) Library assisted instruction (LAI) should be included in school curriculum. 4) Professionally qualified teacher librarians are required for planning and managing the school library. 5) School library in-service program is needed for all members of the school community.

This research investigated the effects of university library users' use patterns and their recognition of service benefits on the magnitude of service value assessments derived from users' statements using contingent valuation method (CVM). Library users' use patterns were operationalized by the number of library visits, library website visit counts and the degree of dependence on their own libraries. User benefits variables were measured by the level of satisfaction on the benefits of library use for teaching & instruction, research & writings, and employment & external activities. University library services were divided into circulation, journal articles (domestic & foreign), reference service, user education, reading room service and WTPs for each service were measured. The results from hypotheses testing show that the number of library visits affect WTP amounts for circulation, foreign article use, reference service and user education. The degree of library dependence seems to affect WTP amounts for circulation and user education. With regards to the hypotheses related to the recognition of library service benefits, the degree of satisfaction for teaching & instruction benefits seems to affect WTP amounts for reading room use.

4차 산업혁명이 도래함에 따라 창의적 인재 육성이 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 이에 따라 학생들의 수업방식에 변화를 주어 창의력 향상을 도모하는 하브루타가 각광받기 시작하였다. 그러나 정규 교육과정에 주어진 시수와 인력부족으로 인해 하브루타 모델을 적용하는 것이 쉽지는 않다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 학교도서관에서 진행할 수 있는 하브루타 모델을 적용한 수업모형을 제안한다.
