도서관에서 기술의 진보와 표준화로 인해 분류 목록 업무가 근본적으로 달라지진 않았지만 목록 작성 방법이나 이용자에게로의 제공 방법은 분명히 변하였다. 따라서 이러한 업무를 책임져야하는 정리 부서 담당 사서는 전에 비해 여러가지 자질을 필요로 하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 American Libraries라는 미국 도서관계 잡지의 사서직 구인 광고를 바탕으로 1970년도부터 1995년도에 이르기까지 변화한 목록사서의 임용조건을 직책명, 목록경력, 업무감독 경력, 서지 유틸리티, 기계가독형 목록 경험, 분류체계, 기타 경력, 인성, 언어, 주제 분야 등의 요소로 나누어 분석하여 관련 교육 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The study aims at identifying catalogers' perception of competencies in cataloging. The study focuses on cataloging and classification knowledge, library systems, materials, metadata formats, authority control, foreign language, computer skills, and interdependence and personal skills. It discusses the gap between previous studies and catalogers' perceptions of competencies required for the job. It provides implications for cataloging education. It has values in that the study as an exploratory study urges continuous studies to identify how catalogers' perceptions are changed according to information environment. It will be a base to develop job descriptions for catalogers.

The research objectives of this study are twofold: to analyze affective dispositions in both 'Standards for the 21st-Century Learner(AASL, 2007)' and 'Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education(ACRL, 2015)'; and to look for implications from the two documents in information literacy instruction(ILI). A total of 18 and 38 affective dispositions were found in AASL(2007) and ACRL(2015) documents respectively. This study mainly discusses sequencing affective objectives and assessment techniques for the ILI. The affective dispositions found from the two documents will be a cornerstone of ILI in K-20.

This study intends to analyze materials which Korea and Japan have investigated about each other during last In years(1901-2000). To the end, we collected monographs and constructed DBs('Korea-Japan Information Retrieval System'). Using it, this study analyzed a characteristic of the publication period, subjects, and producers from a bibliographical point of view. In particular, this study concentrated upon the subject of sociology, education, public administration, and law fields.

The government of Uganda, which belongs to East Africa, approved the National Vison Statement, "A transformed Ugandan society from a Peasant to a Modern and Prosperous Country within 30 years". However, the Uganda is facing the problem of unbalanced development between urban and rural area in spite of the government's efforts. In particular, the urban-rural education gap is emerging as a problem that could negatively affect national development plans. In this paper, we explain the reasons why Uganda's urban-rural educational imbalance is accelerating. In addition, we would like to introduce a way to reduce the educational imbalance by using appropriate technology of ICT such as the electronic library system.

This study is trying to propose an academic system of science of reading through analysing this area in United States as well as Japan and the it's curriculums of departments and majors of the undergraduate and graduate schools in Korea. In the case of United States, it is divided into sociology, physiology, psychology and pedagogy of reading. Japan's research area of Science of Reading is divided into sociology, physiology, psychology and pedagogy of reading under the influence of the United States. However, Murofushi Takeshi(室伏武) divides this area into 5 categories of curriculum such as basic research field, reading material field, reading education method field, reading education management field, and adjacent fields to science of reading. According to the result of comparing the it's courses in Korea, it's areas are divided into sociology, psychology, pedagogy of reading, science of reading materials and adjacent fields to science of reading. Based on the above contents, a new academic system of science of reading can be divided into basics of science of reading, readers field, reading material field, reading professionals' education field, and adjacent fields to science of reading.

This study started from an understanding that a true welfare society requires voluntary 'sharing' of citizens in addition to the state's legal and institutional security and that to make the culture of sharing find a firm ground in our society, 'Philanthropic Education' is needed from the childhood. This study examined three issues; first suggested the need of philanthropic education and learning methods. secondly, to find out the present situations of sharing in Korea, the study looked into sharing cultures and philanthropic education in other countries. thirdly, the study explored ways of philanthropic education for elementary school students of Korea in literature based program methods. The structure of the program was designed as structured experimental group program. And the content of this program is composed of concepts, objects, process, institutions regarding philanthropy, and finally practical behavior of it. This study implies that discussions in taking root and revitalizing the philanthropic education to encourage prosocial behaviors of children by more efforts of family, community and school.

The study was performed to prepare basic data for the development of entrepreneur education programs for nursing students through literature review and text network of relevant studies on entrepreneurship education for college students. The research was found in the database of the Korea Education and Research Information Service, the Korean Academic Information Service System, DBpia and the National Assembly Library with keywords such as 'entrepreneur', 'student', 'education', 'program' and 'training. The final selected paper was 35 studies in Korea from 2000 to September 2016. The largest number of studies have been conducted since 2011 with 85.71%, and the largest proportion of survey(88.57 %). The major independent variables were entrepreneur self-efficacy and entrepreneurship and the dependent variables were entrepreneur intention and entreprenuer self-efficacy. Based on this result, entrepreneur education programs will be developed suitable for the target, and it can promote the entrepreneur education for nursing students.

By developing and implementing a book curation education program that reflects the experiential economy theory, this study aims to verify the effect that experience perception of the program has on continuous participation intention and perceived value of the program. Teaching and learning activities of book curation education programs were organized so that practitioners can experience activities for 4 experience element, entertainment experience, educational experience, escapist experience, esthetic experience according to experience economic theory. This study surveyed 195 peoples who participated in the program to measure the effectiveness of the program. As a result of analysis, research hypothesis 1 (the perception of experiences in the book curation education program affects the perceived value of the program) revealed that aesthetic and entertainment experiences were significant, and research hypothesis 2 (the perception of experience in the book curation education program affects the intention to continue participating in the program) showed that all other factors except educational experiences were significant.

This study examines the differences in children's reading comprehension and satisfaction of storybooks according to a type of medium(paper and multimedia e-books). Six different storybooks were used and 85 children participated. Each child read a paper book and an e-book(both are different books). The study results showed that overall, the type of medium did not significantly affect the children's reading comprehension of all six storybooks: for two storybooks, some comprehension scores of paper books were higher than those of e-books, on the other hand, some comprehension scores of e-books were higher than those of paper books. Satisfaction scores of paper books are a little bit higher that those of e-books, although resulting in no statistically significant difference between two types. In addition, the study suggested that the amount of annual readings is positively related to improving children's composition ability and information acquisition ability. Finally, we proposed how to promote the use of e-books in the school library environments in terms of its usability and management policies.
