Extraction of paddy rice field in North Korea using time-series satellite images (시계열 위성영상을 이용한 북한 지역의 논벼 재배 지역 추출 기법 연구)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 북한지역에 적용할 수 있는 논벼 재배지역 추출 기법을 개발 및 적용하여 논 분포도를 작성하고, 정확도를 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 북한에 적용 가능한 시계열 위성자료를 수집하고, 논벼 재배지역 추출을 위한 토지피복 분류 기법을 개발하여 북한의 논벼 재배지역 분포도를 작성하고자 한다. 최종적으로 작성된 논 분포도를 북한의 농경지 모니터링을 위한 기초 자료로 제공토록 한다. 본 연구에서는 시계열 NDVI를 적용한 객체기반 무감독 토지피복 분류 방법을 활용하여 북한의 황해남도 재령군을 대상으로 토지피복 분류와 논 지역을 추출을 수행하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 활용한 영상은 RapieEye로서 5개의 위성이 지구를 관측하고 있기 때문에 매일 동일한 지역의 영상을 폭넓게 획득할 수 있다는 장점이 있으며, Red, Green, Blue, Near Infra Red 밴드 외에 Red Edge 밴드에서 데이터를 획득하여 산림 모니터링, 농작물 모니터링 등에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있다는 특징이 있다. 먼저 2010년 4월, 6월, 9월 영상으로 각 영상의 NDVI를 산정하고 이를 활용하여 객체를 생성하였다. 다음으로 생성된 객체를 바탕으로 무감독 토지피복 분류를 수행하였고, 논 적합지역에 대한 지형 정보를 분류결과에 반영하여 최종적인 토지피복지도 및 논 지역 지도를 구축하였다. 본 연구결과는 원격탐사분야의 응용 기술을 확장하고, 향후 북한지역의 농산물 생산량 파악과 농업수자원 평가 분야에서도 폭 넓게 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

  • Recently, many enterprises are introducing information systems for their competitive advantages. For enhancing the utilization level of enterprise information system, it is quite important to monitor the usage states of the information systems continuously. However, most enterprise information systems lack this functionality. Proposed in this paper is the framework of IAM (Information Activity Monitoring), which is defined as real-time reporting and alerting of significant information-related activities. This IAM framework provides 4 different views about the information system (data, IT system, business process, and participant) and is implemented as a part of integrated design/manufacturing information system developed by aerospace parts manufacturer. By using the IAM function, IT personnel can monitor significant information-related activities systematically and feedback to their users timely, and ultimately enhance the utilization level of information system.

  • Recently, with the development of the 4th industry, environmental issues such as air pollution have become serious, and in particular, a lot of air pollutants are generated in industrial sites. There are various types of air pollutants, and among them, carbon monoxide is essential for fires occurring in industrial sites, so it should be possible to monitor in real time. In addition, there is a need for a remote monitoring system that can measure various environmental factors other than air pollutants in real time. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system using wireless communication to remotely measure the industrial environment. The proposed monitoring system collects data to the Arduino of the transmitter by using a carbon monoxide sensor, a combustible gas sensor, a temperature and humidity sensor, and a flame sensor, and then transmits it to the receiver using ZigBee. The transmitted data is stored in the database of the receiver Raspberry Pi, and the stored data can be monitored in real time through the monitoring system.

  • As the competition among the autonomous vehicle (AV, here after) developers are getting fierce, Korean government has been supporting developers by deregulating safety standards and providing financial subsidies. Recently, some OEMs announced their plans to market Lv3 and Lv4 automated driving systems. However, these market changes raised concern among public road management sectors for monitoring road conditions and alleviating hazardous conditions for AVs and human drivers. In this regards, the authors proposed a methodology for monitoring road infrastructure to identify hazardous factors for AVs and categorizing the hazards based on their level of impact. To evaluate the degrees of the harm on AVs, the authors suggested a methodology for managing road hazard factors based on vehicle performance features including vehicle body, sensors, and algorithms. Furthermore, they proposed a method providing AVs and road management authorities with potential risk information on road by delivering them on the monitoring map with node and link structure.

  • 드론은 좁은 장소나, 도로 위에서도 자유롭게 운용할 수 있다는 등의 장점으로 인해 점차 교통 모니터링 분야에 서도 널리 쓰이고 있다. 교통 모니터링을 통해 교통관제가 가능하며, 교통혼잡 해소에 활용할 수 있다. 교통량 확인을 위하여 기존에는 hand-crafted 기반의 방법들이 사용되었는데, 이러한 방법들은 조명이나 촬영위치에 취약하다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 딥러닝 기반의 교통량 확인 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 드론의 촬영 환경과 비슷한 환경의 도로 데이터를 수집하였다. 정확도를 좀 더 높이기 위해, 데이터 augmentation 을 하였다. 생성된 데이터를 이용하여 학습을 진행하였고, 학습 결과 97%의 정확도가 나옴을 확인하였다. 테스트 데이터에 대한 정확도 측정은 [250 pixel 이상] X [250 pixel 이상] 크기의 객체에 대해서 IOU 0.3 기준으로 측정되었다.

  • The scope of the problems that could be solved by monitoring and the improvement of the recognition time is directly correlated to the performance of the management function of the business process. However, the current event-managing monitoring system and the real-time advanced alarming business monitoring system decided whether to apply warnings or not by assuming a fixed environment and showing expressions based on the design rules. Therefore, there is a limit for distinguishing the range of occurrence and the level of severity in regard to the new external problems occurring in a complicated environment. Such problems cannot be abstracted. In this paper, evaluation model of business process contextual situations using goal scenario is suggested to provide constant services through the current monitoring process in regard to the service demands of the new scenario which occurs outside. The new demands based on the outside situation are analyzed according to the target scenario for the process activities. Also, a similar process model is found and identified by combining similarity and interrelationship. The process can be stopped in advance or adjusted to the wanted direction.

An Energy-Dissipation-Ratio Based Structural Health Monitoring System (에너지소산률을 이용한 구조물의 건전도 모니터링에 관한 연구)

  • This research develops a technique which uses energy dissipation ratio in order to monitor the structural health on real time basis. For real-time monitoring, we employ the NExT and the ERA which enable us to obtain real-time data. Energy dissipation ratio is calculated from those data only with the damping and natural frequency of the structure, and from the calculated values we develop an algorithm (Energy dissipation method) which decides the damage degree of structure. The Energy dissipation method developed in this research is proved to be valid by comparison with other methods like the eigenparameter method and the MAC. Especially this method enables us to save measuring time and data which are the most important in real-time monitoring, and its use of the ambient vibration also makes it easy to monitor the whole structure and its damage points.

Development of Traffic Situation Integrated Monitoring Indicators Combining Traffic and Safety Characteristics (교통소통과 안전 특성을 결합한 교통상황 모니터링 지표 개발)

  • In traffic management, gaps in understanding traffic conditions continue to exist. While the self-belonging problem indicator develops relative to speed, belonging, and self-based relative inclination, it does not apply elimination criteria that may indicate situations that contrast with attribute-specific problems. In this study, we develop integrated indicators that specify communication situations and safety levels for modeling. We review indicators of changes in traffic conditions and raise safety issues, reviewing the indicators so that ITS data can be applied, analyzing the relationships between indicators through factor analysis. We develop combined, integrated indicators that can show changes and stability in traffic situations and that can be applied in traffic information centers to contribute to the development of a traffic environment that can monitor related traffic conditions.

Smart Factory's Environment Monitoring System using Bluetooth (블루투스를 이용한 스마트팩토리의 환경 모니터링 시스템)

  • Recently, in order to increase the efficiency of the product production process, the automation of facilities and devices in the factory is in progress, and a smart factory is being built using ICT and IoT technologies. In order to organically solve many problems occurring in the smart factory, a system for monitoring the wireless communication function between facilities and devices and the manufacturing process environment of the smart factory is required. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system using a Bluetooth module, a temperature/humidity sensor and a fine dust sensor to remotely monitor the process environment of a smart factory. The proposed monitoring system collect Arduino sensor values wirelessly through Bluetooth communication.
