The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics of water quality factor scientifically and develop the multiple regression model predicting dissolved oxygen to save periodic replacement costs for dissolved oxygen sensor. Correlation analysis using the environmental data obtained from 2 different land-based fish farms of the Geogeum-do, Geheung-gun coastal area during the periods from November 2008 to January 2009 shows that water temperature was negatively correlated with dissolved oxygen and pH butpH was positively correlated with salinity and dissolved oxygen. The information of Keumho fish farm in 2009 is presented by the tables which are monthly statistics of water quality factors and seasonable difference by the Duncan's post-test. Also we developed multiple regression model predicting dissolved oxygen, the usefulness of which was verified by the comparison graph between estimates and actual observations. The developed regression model shows that seawater temperature and salinity give negative affect to dissolved oxygen while pH gives positive affect to it. Lastly the seawater temperature has much higher explanatory power than pH factor.
Recently, the more complicated with the elements made of information system, the more dangerous in migration them. So it is need to accomplish information system migration systematically. According to the movement of public institution, a large scale of information system migration is in processing and will be made. In this paper, I would like to suggest the use of migration solution in order to speed & effect information system migration process. With the issuance of one-week fine dust emergency reduction measures in March 2019, the public's anxiety about fine dust is increasingly growing. In order to assess the application of air purifying plant-based bio-filters to public facilities, this study presented a method for measuring pollutant reduction effects by creating an indoor environment for continuous discharge of particle pollutants and conducted basic studies to verify whether indoor air quality has improved through the system. In this study conducted in a lecture room in spring, the background concentration was created by using mosquito repellent incense as a pollutant one hour before monitoring. Then, according to the schedule, the fine dust reduction capacity was monitored by irrigating for two hours and venting air for one hour. PM10, PM2.5, and temperature & humidity sensors were installed two meters front of the bio-filters, and velocity probes were installed at the center of the three air vents to conduct time-series monitoring. The average face velocity of three air vents set up in the bio-filter was 0.38±0.16 m/s. Total air-conditioning air volume was calculated at 776.89±320.16㎥/h by applying an air vent area of 0.29m×0.65m after deducing damper area. With the system in operation, average temperature and average relative humidity were maintained at 21.5-22.3℃, and 63.79-73.6%, respectively, which indicates that it satisfies temperature and humidity range of various conditions of preceding studies. When the effects of raising relatively humidity rapidly by operating system's air-conditioning function are used efficiently, it would be possible to reduce indoor fine dust and maintain appropriate relative humidity seasonally. Concentration of fine dust increased the same in all cycles before operating the bio-filter system. After operating the system, in cycle 1 blast section (C-1, β=-3.83, β=-2.45), particulate matters (PM10) were lowered by up to 28.8% or 560.3㎍/㎥ and fine particulate matters (PM2.5) were reduced by up to 28.0% or 350.0㎍/㎥. Then, the concentration of find dust (PM10, PM2.5) was reduced by up to 32.6% or 647.0㎍/㎥ and 32.4% or 401.3㎍/㎥ respectively through reduction in cycle 2 blast section (C-2, β=-5.50, β=-3.30) and up to 30.8% or 732.7㎍/㎥ and 31.0% or 459.3㎍/㎥ respectively through reduction in cycle 3 blast section (C-3, β=5.48, β=-3.51). By referring to standards and regulations related to the installation of vegetation bio-filters in public facilities, this study provided plans on how to set up objective performance evaluation environment. By doing so, it was possible to create monitoring infrastructure more objective than a regular lecture room environment and secure relatively reliable data.

We have developed a wearable device that can convert sensor data into real-time step counts and activity levels. Sensor data on gait were acquired using a triaxial accelerometer. A test was performed according to a test protocol for different walking speeds, e.g., slow walking, walking, fast walking, slow running, running, and fast running. Each test was carried out for 36 min on a treadmill with the participant wearing a portable gas analyzer (K4B2), an Actical device, and the device developed in this study. The signal vector magnitude (SVM) was used to process the X, Y, and Z values output by the triaxial accelerometer into one representative value. In addition, for accurate step-count detection, we used three algorithms: an heuristic algorithm (HA), the adaptive threshold algorithm (ATA), and the adaptive locking period algorithm (ALPA). A regression equation estimating the energy expenditure (EE) was derived by using data from the accelerometer and information on the participants. The recognition rate of our algorithm was 97.34%, and the performance of the activity conversion algorithm was better than that of the Actical device by 1.61%.

Ubiquitos sensor network(USN) is a technology which is widely used in our life. This paper introduces an example of design and implementation for a system which is based on the USN technology and can provide an efficient management tool for a space that should be precisely controlled for a certain range of uniformity in temperature and humidity. This introduced system builds a wireless sensor network using a number of sensor modules that are equipped with temperature and humidity sensors, and collects temperature and humidity information in real-time while simultaneously providing a method for monitoring the status of temperature and humidity by the graphical user interface. Also, the system will give a warning signal if the monitored values are differ from the pre-specified values of temperature and humidity for each sensor module more than a certain amount of tolerance. This temperature and humidity logging and monitoring system can perform better management for the space easily and efficiently by automating the existing manual method for data collection and management. Furthermore, using the stored data, it can make possible to perform post-analysis on the problems caused by temperature and humidity and to obtain information for environmental enhancement for the space.
IT-based subjective well-being (SWB) services, a main part of wellness IT, should measure the SWB state of individuals in an unrestrained, cost-effective manner. The dictionaries for sentiment analysis available in the market may be useful for this purpose, but obtaining proper sentiment values using only words from the sentiment lexicon is impossible; therefore, a new dictionary including wellness vocabulary is needed. The existing sentiment dictionaries link only a single sentiment value to a single sentiment word, although sentiment values may vary depending on personal traits. In this study, we develop an extended version of the SenticNet sentiment dictionary dubbed WellnessWordNet. SenticNet is considered the best and most expressive among the already existing sentiment dictionaries. Using the information provided by SenticNet, we created a database including the wellness states (estimated values) of stress, depression, and anger to develop the WellnessWordNet system. The accuracy of the system was validated through actual tests with live subjects. This study is unique and unprecedented in that i) an extended sentiment dictionary, WellnessWordNet, is developed; ii) values for wellness state language are offered; and iii) different sentiment values, namely contextual polarity, for people of the same gender or age group are suggested.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to eliminate communication shadowing loss of the 'smart safety management system'. The 'smart safety management system' can monitor and relay real time data of workers working in high risk workplace (i.e: industrial scene, disaster scene). The data will provide the rescue team the 'golden hour' in their rescue operations. Method: In this research, safety tag was designed and implemented so that it acts as a repeater for the user. Result: In other words, when communication in-between the safety tag and headquarters' communication terminal is jeopardized, the safety tag will act as a repeater-terminal for other safety tags in the area. Conclusion: The research tested if a specific building with communication shadowing loss problem was resolved when safety tags were implemented. Communication shadowing was first identified in-between the safety tag and headquarters' communication terminal. When extra safety tags were deployed in the same situation, the results showed that the communication shadowing loss was resolved. The repeater safety tags could resolve communication shadowing loss of up to three basement levels in this test building.

The geolocation accuracy of SAR satellite imagery is affected by orbit and sensor information and external variables such as DEM accuracy and atmospheric delay. To predict geolocation accuracy of KOMPSAT-5 and KOMPSAT-6, this paper uses TerraSAR-X imagery which has similar spec. Simulation data for sensitivity analysis are generated using range equation and doppler equation with several key error sources. As a result of simulation analysis, the effect of sensor information error is larger than orbit information error. Especially, onboard electronic delay needs to be monitored periodically because this error affects geolocation accuracy of slant range direction by 30m. Additionally, DEM accuracy causes geolocation error by 20~30m in mountainous area and atmospheric delay can occur by 5m in response to atmospheric condition and incidence angle.
Measuring tree's volume is very important input data of various environmental analysis modeling However, It's difficult to use economical and equipment to measure a fragmented small green space in the city. In addition, Trees are sensitive to seasons, so we need new and easier equipment and quantification methods for measuring trees than lidar for high frequency monitoring. In particular, the tree's size in a city affect management costs, ecosystem services, safety, and so need to be managed and informed on the individual tree-based. In this study, we aim to acquire image data with UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), which can be operated at low cost and frequently, and quickly and easily quantify a single tree using SfM-MVS(Structure from Motion-Multi View Stereo), and we evaluate the impact of reducing number of images on the point density of point clouds generated from SfM-MVS and the quantification of single trees. Also, We used the Watertight model to estimate the volume of a single tree and to shape it into a 3D structure and compare it with the quantification results of 3 different type of 3D models. The results of the analysis show that UAV, SfM-MVS and solid model can quantify and shape a single tree with low cost and high time resolution easily. This study is only for a single tree, Therefore, in order to apply it to a larger scale, it is necessary to follow up research to develop it, such as convergence with various spatial information data, improvement of quantification technique and flight plan for enlarging green space.
Surveying urban tributary vegetation is based mainly on field sampling at present. The tributary vegetation survey integrating UAV NIR(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Near Infrared Radiance) imagery and in-situ point photo has received only limited attentions from the field ecologist. The reason for this could be the largely undemonstrated applicability of UAV NIR imagery by the field ecologist as a monitoring tool for urban tributary vegetation. The principal advantage of UAV NIR imagery as a remote sensor is to provide, in a cost-effective manner, information required for a very narrow swath target such as urban tributary (10m width or so), utilizing very low altitude flight, real-time geo-referencing and stereo imaging. An exhaustive and realistic comparison of the two techniques was conducted, based on operational customer requirement of urban tributary vegetation survey: synoptic information, ground detail and quantitative data collection. UAV NIR imagery made it possible to identify area-wide patterns of the major plant communities subject to many different influences (e.g. artificial land use pattern), which cannot be acquired by traditional field sampling. Although field survey has already gained worldwide recognition by plant ecologists as a typical method of urban tributary vegetation monitoring, this approach did not provide a level of information that is either scientifically reliable or economically feasible in terms of urban tributary vegetation (e.g. remedial field works). It is anticipated that this research output could be used as a valuable reference for area-wide information obtained by UAV NIR imagery in urban tributary vegetation survey.
