Unlike the United States, course reserve and e-Reserve services of university libraries are very poorly operated in Korea. This paper studied cases of e-Reserve service operation of 131 university libraries in the United States to provide basic materials for revitalizing the e-Reserve service of domestic university libraries. To confirm the operation case, 131 university library websites were surveyed, and among them, the e-Reserve service operation methods of 7 university libraries were compared and analyzed, and the functions of 4 e-Reserve supporting software were checked. The research results can be used as reference materials in operating the e-Reserve service in domestic university libraries, and the function of the analyzed support software is considered to be a functional requirement to be considered when introducing the system.

우리나라 대학부설연구소는 적어도 양적인 면에서는 괄목할만한 성장을 하였다. 그러나 연구소가 운영되는 양상을 내부적으로 살펴보면 상당한 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 즉, 연구소의 난립화, 윳겅정책의 미흡, 재정 취약, 활동 미약, 평자체제의 미비, 전임연구원의 부족, 연구소장에 대한 동기부텨 미흡 등이 지적된다. 이러한 문제를 극복하여 연구소가 경쟁력을 갖추고 활성화하기 위해서는 다음과 같은 방안이 강구되어야 한다. 첫째, 평가제도를 도입하여 차별적 지원과 통합의 기준으로 삼는다. 둘째, 연구소를 주제와 지역적 관점 등에서 특성화하고 기능적 관점에서 개성화시킨다. 셋째, 목적과 기능이 중복되거나 성과가 미미한 연구소는 평가결과에 따라 통합한다. 넷째, 정부와 대학 당국의 재정 지원 강화와 관리 감독 기능을 강화한다. 다섯째, 개별 연구소들의 지구적 노력이 반드시 뒤따라야 한다.

코로나 팬더믹으로 인해 시작된 비대면 수업의 도입은 대학교육시스템에 변화를 가져왔다. 대학은 비대면 수업 운영에 대한 경험 및 학습자 만족도를 기반으로 비대면 수업을 대학 학사 운영에 활용하는 방안을 모색하기 시작하였다. 본 논문은 비대면과 대면이 혼합된 하이브리드 수업 운영에서 학습자들이 다양한 특성의 과목에서 만족한 수업방식과 의견을 조사·분석함으로써 비대면과 대면 수업을 혼합 활용하는 효과적 방안을 모색하는데 필요한 학습자 의견 도출에 그 목적이 있다. 조사 결과, 학습자들은 전반적으로 하이브리드 수업에 만족하고 있고, 과목 특성에 따라 비대면과 대면 수업의 장점을 혼합한 수업에 대한 학습효과를 올바르게 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있고, 수업 맞춤형 하이브리드 수업 운영을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 대학은 학습자의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 하이브리드 수업 운영을 위한 제도 등을 마련하여 효과적인 수업 운영 및 활성화를 지원할 필요가 있다고 사료된다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the research support service model of a university library, which prepares for the changing research environment and supports the entire research process. In particular, components of the research support service at each stage of research are developed based on 'the research lifecycle' to support the entire research process. First, constructed elements of research support services that should be supported at each stage of the study through literature reviews and surveys of service demand. Next, a survey and in-depth interview were conducted with service providers to ensure effective service operation. This research support service model developed through the processes above are proposed as 'the research support service component model' that consists of six steps and 50 components including 20 core elements and as 'the research support service operation system model' that is composed of the organic system among government and related organizations, university libraries and organizations inside universities.

우리나라는 정부차원에서 교육과학기술부, 문화체육관광부, 여성가족부, 보건복지가족부, 법무부, 지방자치단체 등 관련 부처별로 필요한 분야에 한해 다문화 강사 양성이 이루어지고 있다. 교육과학기술부에서는 2007년 다문화가정 자녀교육 지원계획을 발표하고 2008년부터 각 교육청 주관으로 다문화교육 직무연수를 외부에 위탁하여 중앙 및 각 지방 다문화교육센터를 중심으로 현직교사 대상 '다문화교육을 위한 교사 양성 연수 프로그램'을 지속적으로 운영하고 있다. 문화체육관광부 산하 한국문화예술교육진흥원에서는 2008년에 다문화강사 양성과정을 개설하여 운영하였다. 그리고 여성부는 청소년, 이주노동자, 이주여성을 대상으로 다문화교육을 제공할 목적으로 2008년에 '다문화이해교육 강사양성' 과정을 개설하였다. 그러나 이들은 모두 일회성에 머물러 지속적으로 연계되지는 못했다. 또한 보건복지가족부는 2007년에 '결혼이민자 다문화가족 지원센터'에서 종하며 교육활동을 하기 위한 다문화 강사 80명을 일차적으로 양성하였다. 최근에는 각 지방자치단체별 다문화가족 지원센터에서 결혼이민자를 다문화 강사로 활용하여 청소년들에게 다문화 이해 교육을 제공하도록 하는 '다문화강사 양성과정'을 개별적으로 개설하여 운영하고 있다(설동훈 김찬기, 2009). 한편 법무부는 2008년 5월 다문화 이해증진 및 이민자 사회통합을 위한 정책개발 추진에 우수 대학의 적극적인 참여 기회를 부여하고, 관련 분야에 대한 대학의 새로운 학문 개척 기회를 마련하기 위해 공모 절차를 거쳐 20개의 ABT대학을 최종 선정하였다. 명지대학교는 2010년 3월부터 산업대학원 산업시스템경영학과 국제교류경영학석사 과정에서 국제교류경영 전문가 양성을 운영하고 있다. 경기도 지원 경기도의 새로운 브랜드 가치 실현을 위한 '다문화사회를 위한 의식개선 사업'으로 사회통합 - 다문화사회 공동체 형성을 목표로 총4개의 컨소시엄 기관(시흥시, 수원시, 화성시외국인복지센터, 의정부시외국인근로자지원센터)이 형성되어 2010년 2월22에서 2010년12월20까지 시행되었다. 본 연구는 '다문화사회를 위한 의식개선 사업'을 통해 교육대상자 구분과 사업장 교육 지역별 구분과 일반인 교육 지역별 구분을 파악하고 이를 기초로 우리의 다문화사회에 도움이 될 수 있는 다문화교육의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

This study describes the introduction, growth, current practices and future plans of research evaluation services performed in domestic academic libraries, with a view to informing other libraries considering similar endeavours. To that end, in-depth interviews were conducted with four librarians from academic libraries leading in research evaluation services. The contents of the interviews were grouped into five categories including growth, management, and services. The study found that their research evaluation services were launched around 2010 by demands of members of a university or as a library's initiative to expand the existing services for the purpose of enhancing the university's research competitiveness. The research evaluation services have been strengthened by extending the service scope and improving related systems. Also, the study suggests a comprehensive model that can guide the development and operation of research evaluation services.

Universities contribute to the development of the country and society by cultivating professional manpower with knowledge and qualifications as democratic citizens through education and research activities. To this end, the government is improving the basic capabilities of universities and supporting autonomous innovation through university financial support projects. Since the financial support project differentially supports the government's finances limited to universities with a comparative advantage through fair evaluation, the role and function of the university library, a basic educational facility and core institution that supports education and research, is important. However, university libraries have not been able to actively participate in the government's financial support projects due to financial and manpower shortages, poor environments such as facilities, facilities, and spaces, and low participation rates for students. Therefore, this study investigated and analyzed the program operation cases of 18 university libraries in which libraries participated among 45 universities selected for the ACE project (2010-2016), derived problems and implications, and questioned the roles and achievements of university libraries. Based on the results, strategies and measures to be considered by university libraries in preparation for the government's university financial support projects were proposed.

The instructional consulting has emerged as an important teaching development program in university. So, this research aims to analyze the instructional consultation system in centers for teaching and learning in four-year-course universities and deduce implications from it. To this end, focusing on instruction consulting program types, status, and example cases for promotion, homepages were reviewed and phone interview was conducted from July to August, 2015. The results were as follows. First, 9 types of instruction consulting system in universities were found. Second, the status of offering the programs and implementing them did not correspond to each other. Third, universities were mainly using in-school consultants. Fourth, universities had various ways of using the results and reward systems. Lastly, as for the example cases, through various consulting programs, consultant pools, use of results and reward system, and connection with other programs, it was found that instruction consulting system was operated organically. The implications that the research result offers are as follows. First, there should be accurate diagnosis of instructors and customized consulting systems based on needs. Second, there should be supports inside schools and cooperation between external organizations that can help raise consulting teams of various backgrounds. Third, the instructional consulting should be made through joint considerations and reflections of instructors. Fourth, universities should provide systematical support for instructional consultation and have higher awareness about it.

This study aimed to understand the current status of science and engineering university(SEU) R&D operations depending on the research project characteristics(e.g., stages and characteristics), then provide implications for future university R&D support systems and related policies. Hence, an online survey targeting SEU R&D recipients was conducted between October 4th to November 5th, 2021. Analyzing 445 valid data using the Apriori algorithm, 16 association rules for R&D operation according to the research project characteristics show that regardless of research characteristics, SEU's R&D projects, particularly in applied research, were funded or operated under the leadership of government or public institutions. For basic research, individual researchers had a higher level of autonomy in determining research topics; yet, they had a short duration (3 years) and a unit of evaluation period of more than 3 years. These findings can be empirical evidence for revealing the relationship among various variables in operating SEUs' R&D.

The purpose of this paper was to confirm the operational level of the military department of universities, which plays a key role in the officer training process, through empirical research and confirm meaningful results for improvement. There are 11 university military departments operated through the Army, agreements, and semi-agreement, and the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) was applied from the perspective of resource input and performance for each university's military department operation to analyze relative efficiency and confirm specific directions for improvement. As a result of operational efficiency analysis, 6 DMUs (Decsision Making Unit) were found to be efficient in the BCC model out of 11 DMUs, and the evaluation results could be confirmed through classification of efficient and inefficient groups through data capture analysis. This paper may be of practical value in that it checks the efficiency of the comparative university military departments and confirms specific information for development through the DEA-Additive model that reflects several evaluation factors at once. Through this, the operators of each university's military department are admitted.
