The Effects of Smoking on Nutritional Intake, Dietary Behaviors and Blood Lipid Profile of College Students in the Gyeonggi Area (경기지역 일부 남자대학생의 흡연여부가 영양섭취와 건강관련 생활습관 및 혈중 지질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was performed to investigate nutritional intake, the dietary behaviors and plasma lipid profile between smokers and non-smokers of college male students in the Gyeonggi Area. Dietary behaviors and attitude toward smoking were investigated by questionnaires. The result obtained were as follows: There was no significant difference in anthropometric measurements between smokers and nonsmokers. There was no significant difference in dietary behaviors. However, smokers tended to eat more snacks and desserts than nonsmokers. In plasma lipid levels, smokers had higher levels of plasma triglyceride, LDL-cholesterol, VLDL-cholesterol and total cholesterol than that of non-smokers(p<0.05). HDL-cholesterol level of smokers was a lower than that of non-smokers although the difference was not significant. AI(Atherogenic Index), Total /HDL cholesterol ratio and LDL/HDL cholesterol ratio of smokers were significantly higher than that of non-smokers(p<0.01). BMI and SBP showed positive correlation with triglyceride(p<0.01) and VLDL-cholesterol(p<0.01). DBP showed positive correlation with triglyceride(p<0.001) and VLDL-cholesterol(p<0.01).

A Study on the Dietary and the Living Habits of University Freshmen and Undergraduate Students (대학 신입생과 재학생의 식습관과 생활습관 실태에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the dietary and the living habits of 606 university students located in the Chonnam area. The subjects included 290 freshmen (47.9%) and 316 undergraduate students (52.1%). This survey was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire. Most students (73.9%) skipped breakfast because of lack of time (65.8%) of the cases. Self-reported eating habits problems were eating irregular meal (52.8%), overeating (21.1%), unbalance diet (13.0%) and skipping meal (7.3%). The type of favorite snack was biscuit (31.8%) and cup Ramyon(31.8%). The weight control was higher in freshmen compared to undergraduate. The rates of smoking in freshmen and undergraduate were 21.0% and 26.6% respectively. The coffee intake and alcohol drinking frequency was higher in undergraduate compared to freshmen. The living habits of undergraduate students were undesirable. Therefore they should have a nutritional program to improve their food habits and the dietary behaviors for students' health. And nutritional education program should be organized practically and systematically.

  • As more than 80% of the entire Korean population uses smartphone, an increasing number of applications are being developed to increase the convenience in daily life. Users are also looking for applications associated with health, such as those that help them confirm their health status. While users are use most frequently a health care application, this study was conducted to review an application that can be used in real time to access hospital services. Namely, to manage the health status of users and patients, book online or offline appointments and go through the appointments. The study was conducted using the application of Baeksok University Hospital.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the consumer characteristics in foodservice according to university students' lifestyles. The data were collected by the questionnaire survey of 520 university students from Daegu Gyeongbuk Province. The SPSS/Win 12.0 program was used to analyse the samples. The results are as follows: 1) Lifestyle was divided into 10 factors and 3 clusters, namely "Convenience Intention" (cluster I), "Health Information Intention" (cluster II), and "Gender Equality Intention" (cluster III). 2) The differences in general characteristics between the three clusters were founded on gender, frequency of visits, companion, information type, and the type of restaurant. 3) The characteristics of cluster I (Convenience Intention) are explained by it consisting of the group with low averages in consumer dissatisfaction, complaints, compensation, and repurchase intention, where as cluster II was the high average group and cluster III the middle average group. Based on these results, consumer characteristics in foodservice are discussed.

  • 그동안 경제적, 기술적 사정으로 인하여 단순 밝혀주는 조명으로만 활용된 조명산업이 21C 부터는 밝기의 조정, 칼라의 조정이 병행된 감정조명의 시대가 도래하여, 주거생활 조명, 상업용 조명, 문화 공간의 조명 등에 본격적으로 도입되기 시작했다. 이에 따른 조명기술의 눈부신 발전과 조명산업의 발전이 어우러진 가운데 산업현장에는 조명 전문가의 소요가 급속히 발생되고 있는 반면에 실무형 조명전문가를 양성하는 교육기관이 턱없이 부족하여, 조명전문가 양성은 요원한 실정이다. 이에 필요한 Hareware와 Software를 구축하고, 실무형 조명전문가를 양성하고 있는 경북전문대학의 조명전문가 양성교육 시스템을 활용하여 조명전문가 양성교육 현황을 확인하고, 보다 나은 효율적인 교육시스템 구축에 필요한 그 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 현재의 인터넷은 엄청난 속도와 흡수성을 가진 채로 우리들의 생활에 스며들어 왔다. 인터넷은 효율성과 생산성, 오락성의 편익을 제공하는 반면, 익명성과 비대면성이라는 매체의 특성으로 인해 이를 악용한 인터넷 윤리의식이 심각한 사회문제가 제기되고 있다. 이에 인터넷으로 인한 부작용을 예방하고 보다 인간중심의 인터넷 문화를 만들기 위한 인터넷 윤리교육의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 인터넷 윤리의식을 고취시키기 위한방법으로 미디어 리터러시를 제안한다. 기존에는 인터넷의 역기능들을 방지하기 위한 방법으로 차단을 시키거나 사용하지 못하게 하는 부정적 방법을 이용하였으나, 미디어 리터러시를 적용함으로써 인터넷을 올바로 이해하고 느끼게 하여 긍정적인 사고를 가지게 하여 근원적인 예방을 함으로써 인터넷 윤리의식을 고취시키고자 하였다.

  • 현재 중고거래 시장은 빠르게 성장하고 있으며, 중고물품 거래는 쓰지 않는 물건을 나눠 쓰고 재사용하는 중고거래 문화로 하나의 지역 생활 트렌드로 자리 잡고 있다. 이에 따른 가장 큰 이점은 환경보호와 자원의 재활용이다. 따라서 본 연구는 사용자의 밀집도가 높은 대학교를 공략하여 중고거래를 활성화하려 한다. 편의성과 실용성 있는 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 파이어베이스와 T-map을 기반으로 안드로이드 프레임워크에서 사용하여 구현하였다. 본 애플리케이션의 주 서비스는 중고물품 거래, 실시간 채팅 그리고 위치 기반 서비스이다.

Survey and Archaeological Research on the Shàngdu(上都) Site in Yuán(元) Ruins (원상도(元上都)의 조사와 건축유적의 고고학 연구)

  • The $Sh{\grave{a}}ngdu$ site in the Yuan Dynasty of China, a capital city located in the northern steppe area characterised by the nomadic life, has received great attentions from a number of travellers, historians and archaeologists. Several famous European travellers described vividly the city structure and civil life of $Sh{\grave{a}}ngdu$ from the Yuan Dynasty onwards. Since the begging of the modern era, a number of foreign expeditionists and historians explored $Sh{\grave{a}}ngdu$ and published research reports. From the 20th century, mainly Chinese and Japanese historians and archaeologists carried out the relatively detailed historical researches and archaeological surveys to the $Sh{\grave{a}}ngdu$ site; and published books, articles and excavation reports. More detailed and scientific archaeological investigations, mappings and excavations have been conducted since 1990s. This paper aims to progress basic discussion to the city structures of the $Sh{\grave{a}}ngdu$ site based on the previously conducted researches by expeditionists, geographers and archaeologists and the full scale investigations, which have been carried out since the late 20th century.
