The records and archives center provide a variety of archival information services in an effort to get closer to the public. However, there are still some problems with regard to the lack of awareness of records and archives. In order to activate the use of archives, it is necessary to understand the users of archives. Given the problems, this study aims to investigate the awareness of records and archives in university students who are potential users of archives as well as to suggest methods to activate the use of records and archives reflecting the characteristics of university students' awareness. As such, this study surveyed 182 university students at J university. The questionnaire items referred to Market & Opinion Research International (MORI) (2003) as a part of the projects conducted by the Museums Libraries Archives Council (MLA) and Cho's study (2008). The questionnaire items consisted of four major areas: awareness of records and archives, experience with records and archives or reasons of not using them, requirements for the use of archives by potential users, and efficient method of promoting archives. As a result of the survey, most of the university students are indifferent to records. However, they recognized that it is highly important to manage records that are related to historical values and archives that are relevant to information values. In addition, they showed a positive intention to use the archives in the future; thus, it is highly likely for them to be converted into active users through appropriate services. Based on the results, this study proposed important considerations for activating the use of the archives to university students, and suggested methods to activate the archives in terms of user education, program development, and user segmentation.

In comparison with conventional types of documents, photographs present special problems in the management of any archives because of their physical properties and the nature and format of their informational content This paper is case study for the effective photographs management at the university archives. At first, sort out photographic images in the university publications, draw up work sheet by the bibliographic information of the photographic images and construct a bibliographic database based on the work sheet. Secondly, the photographic images is linked with bibliographic database. In result, users can confirm immediately photographic images on the screen by searching OPAC. This paper concludes with a problem and improvement of the photograph database at the university archives.

The presidential archives of Participating Government were left as a result of record production innovation. The record proves the whole process of decision making and serves as a means of enhancing transparency and accountability. This article analyzed the existence form of records and asserted the necessity of reorganization. In the direction of the re-organization of records, we proposed a redesign of the record classification system, logical re-registration of records, and description of record detail information. In order to facilitate the use of the archives, the Presidential Archives should proceed with these tasks at the earliest opportunity.

기후변화에 따른 미래 물 공급의 불확실성으로 인해 기존의 수자원 전략들로 증가하는 물 수요를 안정적으로 충족시키는데 한계가 있다. 국내에서 기후변화 연구에 사용되는 미래 기후시나리오의 불확실성에 대한 전망과 이에 따른 수자원 취약성 평가에만 연구가 집중되고 있다. 하지만 해외의 연구들을 확인해보면 기후변화로 인한 피해를 줄이고자 수자원 정책과 관련한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있고, 다양한 전략과 방향성을 제시하고 있다. 그렇기 때문에 대한민국에서도 기후변화에 적절한 적응 정책의 개발이 필수적이다. 2015, 2016년에 연속하여 충청남도는 극심한 가뭄을 기록하였다. 2015년의 강우량의 경우 평년의 50%를 기록하였고, 보령댐의 경우 18년 중 최저수위를 기록하였다. 그리하여 충청남도는 용수공급지역인 8개의 지자체에 제한급수를 감행하였다. 이에 대응하기 위해 긴급대책인 도수로 공사와 누수 컨설팅 사업이 대두되었고 그 중 하나인 도수로 공사는 실제로 진행되었다. 본 연구에서는 전통적인 경제성 분석방법인 현금흐름할인법과 의사결정기술 중 하나인 실물 옵션 방법을 통하여 두 사업의 적절성을 평가하였다. 실물옵션 방법을 통해 기후변화의 불확실성과 시간에 따른 역동적인 대안을 제시할 수 있었고 기존 현금흐름할인법의 단점을 보안할 수 있는 실물 옵션의 가치를 파악할 수 있었다. 또한 수자원분야의 의사결정 방법으로 실물 옵션 방법이 이용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

The aim of this study was to analyze the operation status of administrative information datasets of private universities and present improvement plans. For the system of private universities, the generation, correction, and deletion of functions, development types, and data were analyzed politically. As a result of the analysis, it has one or more administrative information systems and uses the academic management system in common, and the system is often developed on its own through the university's infrastructure, and data is deleted by the person in charge, but the regulations are not clear. To solve these problems, it was proposed to revise the EA portal to properly investigate the current status of the administrative information system of private universities, manage records centering on systems without data correction, and revise internal regulations to conduct education.

This paper illustrates preliminary modeling for University Archives Management System(UAMS) construction. University must install Intermediate Archives(records and archives) facilities and management system by Public Records and Archives Act(PRA). But it is very difficult to generalize UAMS because University co-exists public and its own characteristic. For UAMS modeling, this paper first identifies University document's production creators and documental boundary. Then it is studied how University archives management is operated and what archives system by PRA means in University. Second systematic connection plan of Intermediate Archives(records and archives) facilities and manuscripts management is surveyed through National Universities and complementary things are presented. Finally through the above study UAMS model is suggested as future-oriented University archives management. UAMS model suggested from this study includes as follows. First manuscripts management as present Records and Archives system's standard function extension. Second manuscripts management system as system management area's extension using in Universities. It is desirable to extend to expert archives system. Finally integrated operating system model for using actively records, archives and manuscripts management systems operating in Universities.

This study investigated the perceived significance of laboratory(lab) notebooks and the creation and maintenance of them from the perspectives of graduate students and professors in science fields. Semi-structured interviews of three professors and four graduate students were conducted. The interviewees were from three university laboratories of physics, chemistry and biological science. While professors perceived administrative continuity to be a reason for creating lab notebooks, students valued lab notebooks as a memory, and emphasized learning professional knowledge and skills through the recordkeeping practice. Students understood the ownership of lab notebooks and professors wanted to keep lab notebooks until they retire. Interviewees focused more on the content of lab notebooks rather than the form and the structure. They were also not willing to adopt an electronic lab notebook system. Students learned how to create lab notebooks through a course, their current or former academic advisors, seniors in the lab or well-written sample lab notebooks. In particular, students have learned how to create lab notebooks within their laboratories, which are considered to be communities of practice. In this sense, professors responsible for managing laboratories play an important part in teaching students the recordkeeping practice. University archives should also be more concerned with managing and preserving lab notebooks created from their universities.

The treatise is a follow-up thesis of "The Archival Management : destination of its education" published by The Research Institute for Korean Archives and Records in June 17, 2000, and it was written to secure its original temper of the "Archival Management" which has established at first as the domestic collegiate educational course. Presently, we are mixed up for interpretation of terminology by facing unfamiliar words: such as, Archives, Documents, Manuscripts, Records / Archival Management, Archival Preservation / Archivist, Archival Conservator, Manuscripts Curator and Record Manager. Also, tile treatise has confirmed scholars' various opinion about its education and curriculum not only domestic but overseas scholars, and examined realities and course of studies of 4 overseas countries, and also have purpose to pursue domestic universities' actual condition of curriculum and its reform measure. And since dispositon of Archivist and the professional organization of the Archivist was based on the Laws, therefore, establishment of an educational institution for Archival Management from now on will be expanded more and need to be accelerated. Accordingly, the universities that already established or to be established from now on, shall be needed educational quality and its contents to be ascended. Its concrete plan is as follows : (1) Now, disarranged archive and record words, and to make publish 'Glossary of Archives & Records' as soon as possible. (2) Remind the substance of the Record and Archival Management and its sphere again and need to be considered alteration of the studies' name. (3) There needs to establish the role and establishment of conception of Archivists. (4) Refer to the theory and practical educational method of overseas professional Archivist Scholars, but to be needed to develop the curriculum which is accorded with am tradition and way of thinking. (5) Confer for development of teaching materials and educational method jointly through 'Academic Society', and there needs reorganize the subject which is fit for each university's characteristics. (6) Recently, "Cultural Resources Studies" for research specialization which has established in Graduate School of Tokyo University was very useful to us. We also need to be considered such establishment of process.

The role of archives and records centers is expanding, however many potential users are not aware of the importance of the records and archives. As a method to improve the archival information services to users, in this study, we developed chatbot that supports the interaction between the users and the archives and records centers. Thus we examined the specific development procedures and methods, analyzed user requests and questions of the archives and records center of Myongji university as a case, and conducted a logical structure design for chatbot development. After building the chatbot based on IBM Watson Conversation and Kakaotalk messenger, we were able to find how the chatbot interacted with the users through a pilot run. Based on the experience of developing information service chatbot, the implications related the introduction of the chatbot were suggested which include determination of the level of the chatbot, analysis of the user requests, selection of the tool for the chatbot, and syntax setting for the conversational interaction.

IHE(Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise)의 XDS.b(Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing.b) 프로파일은 의료기관간 환자의 전자진료기록을 공유하기 위해 개발되었으나 모바일 환경을 고려하지 않았다. 이를 보완하고자 IHE에서는 모바일기기에서도 전자진료기록을 공유할 수 있는 MHD(Mobile access to Health Documents) 프로파일을 개발했다. XDS.b 메타데이터는 ebXML(electronic business XML)을 사용하고 MHD 메타데이터는 JSON(JavaScript Object Notation)을 사용하므로 MHD와 XDS.b를 연동하기 위해서는 MHD 메타데이터를 XDS.b 메타데이터로 변환이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 MHD 메타데이터를 XDS.b 메타데이터로 변환하는 규칙을 정의했다.
