Structural flood defensive alternatives have been evaluated based on economic feasibility, riskiness of safety and sustainability. Social problems associated with structural flood defensive alternatives such as dams, flood control channels, etc. are currently issued. The evaluation items of policy presented in KDI(2001) are should be modified in order to resolve the social problems. Hence, this study conducted a questionnaire survey of public servants, researchers, and engineers to obtain how to determine evaluation items for policy assessment and to compute their weights in the analytic hierarchy process. This study also compared the weights of the items in KDI(2000) with the weights from the survey in this study. The policy assessment weight was estimated higher than KDI(2000). This result suggests that social awareness increases and the analysis of policy becomes important for selecting optimal structural defensive alternatives.

In 1995 of May, the Ministry of Construction and Transportation (NOCT) developed the First Nation-wide Master Plan of GIS. It is set up in response to an increasing and various demands on spatial informations. Until now, a set of diverse projects related to spatial information have been proposed and executed. However, cost-benefit analysis of investment and decision making for alternatives have not been carried out appropriately because scientific evaluations for obtaining efficiency and economical validity of investment have been deficient. Optimum decision making for projects based on itemized priority order using effect or cost of proposed alternative plan is a fundamental expedient for demonstration of propriety of projects and enhancement of efficiency of investment. From such understanding, this paper applied the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technique to the cost required to construct a GIS so that analyze the weight of each cost factor.

The purpose of this study is to find out what their professionalism is and how their expertise grows among Christian alternative school teachers. Professionalism refers to the broad expertise such as specific knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for a particular profession. The teacher expertise is also closely related to the life cycle of a teacher. The present study collected and analyzed the data using a mixed research method that combined a survey and interview. The survey, which involved 276 Christian alternative school teachers, asked about the current teacher's interest, the importance and retention of each element of professionalism, and, in addition, the level of external efforts and help in developing professionalism. The in-depth interview was conducted on 7 Christian alternative school teachers and identified the meaning of teacher professionalism, teacher quality and competencies, and environment for the professional growth. The results reveal that the professionalism recognized by Christian alternative school teachers is rather complex. It includes communication and relationship, calling and identity in addition to the curriculum and instruction expertise that reconstructs the curriculum from a Christian perspective. It is further found that teachers' decision to respond to the calling, subsequent continuous self-development, the teacher community that embodies such calling and efforts, and the school environment where autonomy and responsibility coexist, are equally important for their professional growth. Thus, in order to promote the professionalism of Christian alternative school teachers more effectively in the future, it would be necessary to provide programs that take the teacher's whole life cycle into account and are also directed to teachers themselves rather than to institutions. Considering the emphasis on the expertise in communication and relations, pre-service teacher education should focus not only on developing subject matter expertise, but also fostering communication and relational skills with students and other school community members.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to check the importance of higher level, sub higher level and lower alternative factor and the factor for relieved life and also check the comprehensive priority in executed "Safety and relieved life level improvement of apartment house residents by AHP analysis". Method: The safety management evaluation elements and alternatives have been arranged as hierarchical structure based on the preceding studies and the advice of experts for the maintenance and system of apartment house in this study. Study model is used for the survey of pair wise comparison composition targeting experts and AHP analysis method is used for alternative plan ranking, etc. Result: The response result of survey secured the consistency and it is confirmed that safety inspection for apartment house electricity facility is most important for higher level, safety inspection, detailed inspection and diagnosis evaluation are most important for sub higher level and plumbing equipments is most important for alternatives based on the analysis result of relative weight comparison for sub higher level and alternatives for final goal attainment of the study. Conclusion: Plumbing equipments, crime prevention safety and electrical safety are shown as top priority alternatives when observe it with expert manager's point of view for apartment house. It shows that securing the importance of living safety accident and deciding the level of relieved life can be improved are the alternatives of pre-prevention and management strengthening.

의사 결정의 문제는 기본적으로 다수의 상충되는 기준(Criteria)하에서 최적의 대안을 선택하는 문제이며, 특히 국가나 항공사 또는 어느 기관에서 항공기의 구입시 기종 선정의 문제는 항공기 자체의 높은 가격 및 기술 파급효과, 안전성, 경쟁성 등 다수의 요인들을 심도 있게 고려하여야만 한다. 따라서 다수의 전문가 집단의 의견을 종합할 수 있다면 실패의 확률을 줄일 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문은 한국항공대학교의 훈련용 항공기의 도입 필요성이 제기됨에 따라 대상 기종인 Mooney MSE와 Cessna 172RG 기종에 대하여 현재 한국항공대학교에서 비행 교육을 담당하고 있는 운항학과 전임교수와 비행교육원 비행 교관들의 설문을 통하여 계층화 의사결정법을 이용하여 전문가 의견을 종합하였다. 계층화 의사결정법(AHP; Analytic Heirarchy Process)은 1970년대 초 T. L. Saaty에 의해 개발된 기법으로 다수의 목표, 다수의 기준, 다수의 의사결정 주체가 포함되어 있는 의사결정 문제를 계층화한 후, 상위 계층의 한 기준의 관점에서 직하위 계층의 요소들의 상대적 중요도(Relative Importance) 또는 가중치(Weight)를 쌍별비교(Pairwise Comparison)에 의해 측정하여 궁극적으로 최하위 계층의 대안의 우선순위를 구하는 기법으로 앞으로 항공기의 기종선 정시(특히 훈련용 항공기) 계층화 의사결정법(AHP)을 활용할 수 있도록 모델을 제시하고자 하였다.

Since the success or failure of VE projects depends on the capabilities of participants, including owners, construction managers, architects, general contractors and VE experts, it is important to follow systematic procedures. However, it is often the case that only a rough evaluation is performed, or the rough and detailed evaluations are integrated in actual VE tasks. In this case, it is difficult to analyze and evaluate the alternatives in terms of risk, even for the important alternatives. This in turn leads to the so-called returning alternatives where the alternatives proposed in the preceding stage are returned to the original plans in the following stage, and thus the repetitive work for the alternatives often decreases the efficiency of the VE task. In this regard, this study proposed a risk assessment process for VE alternatives in order to minimize the occurrence of returning alternatives based on the systematic analysis and evaluation of VE alternatives. It will increase the efficiency of VE tasks by reduces the number of regression alternatives.

본 연구는 뉴미디어 환경에서 맥퀘일이 제시한 대안적 커뮤니케이션의 3 가지 양식인 전달(transmission)모델, 표현적(expressive) 또는 의식적(ritual)모델, 주의력(attention)모델이 어떻게 나타나고 있는지 게임형 가상세계 <월드 오브 워크래프트>의 사례를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 또한 이와 함께, 상호작용성과 사회적 실재감이 어떻게 구현되고 있는지를 분석했다. 연구 철과 대안적 커뮤니케이션 양식은 게임형 가상세계라는 뉴미디어 환경에서도 여전히 유효하며 다양한 사례를 통해 검증되었다. 또한 상호작용성과 실재감은 게임형 가상세계의 중요한 특징을 이루며 수용자들의 몰입과 적극적 참여를 높이는 기재로 작동하였다.

This study Presents an guideline of the exclusive bus and/or truck lane on 8 lanes freeways using FREFLO model and INTEGRATiON model. Four alternatives : do nothing, bus exclusive lane, truck exclusive lane, bus and truck exclusive lane, were evaluated using average daily vehicle travel time as measures of effectiveness. It is found that bus and truck exclusive lane is the most effective alternative reducing total travel time by 7% when ADT is below 80,000 vehicle/day. However, when ADT is above 80,000 vehicle/day and bus Proportion is above 12%, bus exclusive lane is the most effective alternative reducing total travel time by more than 5.6%. It is further found that INTEGRATION, the stochastic and microscopic model, is more sensitive than FREFLO, the deterministic and macroscopic model, in evaluating the effectiveness of four alternatives.

This research adopted a Robust Decision Making framework to re-evaluate four alternative strategies proposed by the Comprehensive Flood Management Plan for the Yeongsan River Basin report (MLTM, 2005) considering uncertainties of future floods under condition of climate change. To reflect the uncertainties, multiple sets of future flood scenarios were used with three uncertainty factors: the change in rainfall intensity based on the RCP climate change scenarios and the changes in the temporal and the spatial flood distributions. With combinations of these factors, 216 plausible flood scenario sets were generated and the performances of the four alternatives under different future states were evaluated. From the results, the most robust alternative among the strategies was identified. Moreover, the key factors which made the tested alternatives poor were discovered through assessment of the uncertainty factors. This information can provide detailed insights to decision makers and can be utilized to overcome alternatives' potential vulnerabilities by modifying the strategy to be more robust.

Using a sample from Korea Education Employment Panel(KEEP), this study attempts to ascertain determinants of demand for alternative education in Korea. It found that children's gender and duration of computer use exert a strong effect on demand for alternative education. Also, those parents, who show more interest in government's education policy; are less content with the schools their children are attending; and exhibit the higher likelihood of migration for children's education, appear to have the stronger tendency to seek alternative education for their children. Meanwhile, there was a significant difference between male and female students in the factors that influence demand for alternative education. For male students, duration of computer use and the parents' interest in government's education policy tend to matter. For female students, however, health condition seems to be associated with demand for alternative education. For both male and female students, those parents' who are more discontent with the schools their children are attending and/or have the higher likelihood of migration for children's education seem more likely to send their children to alternative schools.
