Researchers have suggested successful risk management as a key factor in successful IT outsourcing projects implementation. The documented investigations, however, have mainly addressed risk management only from a single perspective of either clients or IT vendors. This study explored the potential perception inconsistency regarding the risks between the client and the vendor for IT outsourcing projects by using a quasi-Delphi approach. The analysis results indicated some inconsistencies in the risks perceived by the two parties: (1) the clients regarded (a) lack of vendor commitment to the project and (b) poor vendor selection criteria and process as top critical risks but the vendors didn't; and (2) on the other hand, the vendors perceived (a) unclear requirements and (b) lack of experience and expertise with project activities as significant risks but the clients didn't. Insights into how the client and the vendor perceive risks may help both parties determine how to partner and manage project risks collaboratively to succeed in outsourcing.

In the web or not, all academic information have the creator which produces that information. The creator can be individual, organization, institution, or country. Most information consist of the title, author and content. The article among academic information is described by title, author, keywords, abstract, publisher, ISSN(International Standard Serial Number) and etc., and the patent information is consisted some metadata such as invention title, applicant, inventors, agents, application number, claim items etc. Most web-based academic information services provide search functions to user by processing and handling these metadata, and the search function using the author field is important. In this paper, we propose an effective indexing management for person name search, and search techniques using boosting factor and near operation based on phrase search to improve precision rate of search result. And we describe person name retrieval result with another expression name, co-authors and persons in same research field. The approach presented in this paper provides accurate data and additional search results to user efficiently.

The purpose of this study is to analyze technical manpower management problems that were made by specialized construction company, centering on the field of machinery and equipments, to offer an improvement of technical manpower management. For this study, the adapted research method select owners&foremans on 18 specialized construction company by machinery&equipment services and on-site supervisors on general contractor and then investigate the problem of contract and subcontract by survey. After analyzing the actual state of management, it present an improvement of technical manpower management. The results of this research are as follows. 1) It is analyzed foreman had a number of difficulty for dealing manpower management because of subordinate relationship between supervisor and foreman. 2) The improvement of technical manpower management is concluded that foreman is to be on- site proxy supervisor or to be hired by an annual salary.

The purpose of this study is at clarifying what the genre oriented characteristics of virtual reality programs are. For this, the tests of 'We Are Married' being broadcasted in 'Sunday, Sunday Night' Part 1 of MBC from episode 1 to 8. As a result of analysis, this program was mixing together virtuality and reality by placing the image of virtual couple's life and presentness of entertainers existing in reality appearing at the studio. Also, it was forming sympathy with users as it satisfies fantasy and sense of reality toward marriage by the entertainer couples showing love and conflict that may happen between real couples after setting various categories of couple types. Also, through the device for the public space to confess private feelings through television, it shows the boundary between public domain and private domain breaking up. Along with this, it has implemented amusement characteristics by inspiring enjoyment of users by a substituted satisfaction through various forms of impressions presented to spouse such as materials, effort, gesture or language, etc. Accordingly, the virtual reality program shows authenticity, fiction and amusement by being mixed together and we can see that such genre oriented characteristics act as important strategy appealing to users based on breakup of boundary and genre oriented ambiguity.

This study analyzed the effect of on - the - job training of workers in Chungnam western area on productivity improvement. A total of 76 questionnaires were analyzed for workers in the western part of Chungcheongnam-do that completed the training course of the Korea Polytechnic University Education and Labor Ministry. The results of this study are as follows: First, the higher the motivation to receive the on - the - job training for the improvement of the productivity, the higher the satisfaction of the training of the worker, but the effect on the job productivity was not significant. Second, the correlation between training experience and job productivity was not statistically significant. Third, as for the effect on the productivity improvement according to the rank, the temporary workers showed higher education satisfaction than the regular workers (agency), and the job productivity was higher than the manager (manager level). Results of ANOVA analysis showed that there was a significant effect on educational satisfaction and job satisfaction according to years of work, career, and rank. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of on - the - job training of workers in the western part of Chungnam, on the productivity improvement, The validity of the study is significant.

Using 1855 observations from 5 years-371 firms panel data during 2010 to 2014 in Chinese stock exchanges, this study examines the impact of managers' ownership on R & D expenditures. The empirical study finds that when firms are state-owned, managers' ownership have negative relation with the level of R & D expenses as well as the likelihood of executing R & D investment, implying that managers are less likely to invest in high risky projects due to managerial ownership's entrenchment effects to pursue private benefits rather than alignment of interest effect as shareholders. The empirical study also finds that when firms are private-owned, managerial ownership are inverse U shaped related to the level of R & D expenses, implying that managers are less likely to invest in high risky projects due to increasing risk aversion resulting from concentration of private wealth at its high level while managers are more likely to invest in high risky projects due to increasing incentives as shareholders at its low level. The results support that the effects of managerial ownership on R & D expenses may be different according to the ownership type of Chinese listed firms.

The purpose of this study was to explore how the college students of the beauty department changed their perspective about jobs, career development, and self-reflection in the process of job shadowing. We selected 8 students who were enrolled in the beauty department of a college located in the capital area and conducted individual in-depth interviews with them. According to the result of the study, First, participants have learned attitude, knowledge, competence, and an important matter necessary to achieve a excellent performance in the beauty job. In particular, they figured out that a core competency for a successful beauty job is to share a social relationship with the clients. Second, they recognized that doing a beauty job is very tough and then set a criteria to make a decision of their future job. Doing a Job shadowing made them being change in the area of job and their job perspective. Finally, they looked themselves back how they are satisfying with developing their career at the beauty department. This study is significantly meaningful in that it contextually showed how the college students are developing their job careers through an indirect job experience from a constructive point of view. Moreover, this study is different from the existing studies focusing on student's direct work experiences such as the existing internship programs, which focused on exploring the student's indirect work experience and the process of their vicarious learning. The result of the current study has a practical implication in terms of providing a basic perspective for career education for students of colleges.

This study analyzes the effects of firms' technology innovation(patent applications) on employment(number of workers and proportion of high-skilled workers) and corporate performance(sales per worker), while considering the two-way causal relationships between these variables. We used the three-stage least squares(3SLS) estimation to examine system of equations in which the dependent variables affect each other with a two-year lag wherever relevant, and applied it to firm-level panel data of Korean manufacturers with 100 or more workers. Our data covered the period of 2005-2017. Exogenous variables, such as firms' managerial and other characteristics, were controlled as explanatory variables. The identification variables for each equation included firms' R&D intensity, labor cost per worker(or operation of firms' own R&D center), and investment on worker training. We find that firms' patent applications increased number of workers, proportion of high-skilled workers, and sales per worker; the causal relationships in the opposite direction were also significant. Evidently, firms' technology innovation is critical to the growth and quality improvement of employment as well as sustainable corporate growth.

최근 몇 년 사이에 인터넷(Internet) 공간상에서 거래되는 선박매매 사이트의 출현으로 인하여 사이버해운거래 시장이 형성되고 있다. 인터넷은 다양한 정보제공자에 의해 광범위한 분야의 정보를 멀티미디어 형태로 전달한다는 점에서 매우 각광을 받고 있지만 이용자의 증가로 무수한 정보들이 걸러지지 못한 채로 Web상에 존재하게 되었다 따라서, 이러한 정보들을 체계적으로 정리하고, 이용자들의 구미에 맞게 가공된 정보의 필요성이 대두되게 되었다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 이용자가 원하는 것을 스스로 인지하고 판단하여 요구사항을 해결해주는 '지능적 대리인' 또는 '지능을 가진 도우미'라고 일컫는 지능형 에이전트(Intelligent Agent)의 필요성이 대두되었다. 지능형 에이전트는 그 다양한 기능으로 인하여 인터넷에서 매우 중요한 요소로 자리잡게 되었다. 우리나라를 비롯해서 선진 해운국에서는 선박매매사이트를 개설하여 사이버 공간상에서 거래를 수행하고 있지만, 사이트별 등록된 선박의 수가 많지 않을 뿐 아니라 거래대상 선박의 표현 방식도 사이트별 국가별로 매우 달라, 선박 매매 시 충분한 매매대상 선박정보를 획득하기 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구는 선박매매 시 고객에게 매매 선박정보를 제공해주는 선박매매용 에이전트 설계를 목표로 하고 있다. Bargainfinder, Bargainboat, Shopboat, Price watch 등 쇼핑몰을 대상으로 하는 비교쇼핑에이전트는 상용화되어 운영되고 있지만 선박매매용 에이전트에 관한 연구는 시도되지 않고 있다. 본 연구는 선박매매용 에이전트를 개발하기 위한 설계연구로서 다음 사항에 대한 연구가 시도되었다. (a) 구매 선박에 대한 요구사항 표현 방법 (b) 관련 선박의 표현, 등록 및 색인방법 (c) 공급 선박의 분류와 표현 방법 (d) 에이전트의 정보 수집을 위한 메시지 표현 방법 (e) 수집된 선박정보의 데이터베이스 저장 표현방법 (f) 요구 선박을 찾아주는 정보제공 서비스가 요구된다.
