단지 내 진출입 불허구간의 적정길이 산정에 관한 연구 (Determination of Not-Permitted Entrance/Exit Section at Curb Areas)

  • 현재, 단지 내 진출입 불허구간의 설치 및 운영에 대한 명확한 설치기준이 없어 교통소통과 안전에 많은 문제가 발생하고 있는 실정이나, 단지 내 진출입 불허구간에 관한 연구는 미흡하여 합리적인 설계가 이루어지지 못하는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 단지 내 진출입 불허구간을 진입부와 진출부로 분류하여 진 출입부 적정길이를 산정하였다. 진입부 적정길이 산정은 횡단보도 위치 및 정지선 이격거리와 2차로 진입차량 대기행렬 길이, 안전을 고려한 여유거리 등을 고려하여 산정하였으며, 진출부 적정길이 산정은 횡단보도 위치 및 차량길이와 가로교차로 진출차량의 행태를 고려하여, 조사지점과 거리별로 진출부 차간간격을 비교 분석하여 산정하였다. 이와 같이 단지 내 진출입 불허구간을 대상으로 차량행태 조사와 교통소통 및 안전을 고려한 진출입 불허구간의 적정길이를 제시함으로써, 향후 단지 내 진출입 불허구간의 적합한 설치기준 및 운영에 이바지할 것으로 판단된다.

카페테리아 식단을 제공하는 사업체 급식소의 식단운영 형태에 따른 대기행렬 분석 (Queueing Analysis by Menu Management Systems in Cafeteria of the Business Foodservices)

  • The purposes of this study were to : (a) anlayze wating time, service rate, arrival rate, and coustomer expectations/satisfaction in cafeteria business foodservices and (b) identify the differences in those factors between foodservices by menu managmenet systems. The samples were two business foodservices operated by contract management in Seoul. The queue, laptime , service rate, and arrival rate were measured at each foodservice by stopwatch observation. The menu type, delivery system, number of meals served , servide time, and turnover rate of each foodservic was investigated. Questionnaires were developed to survey customer expectations and satisfaction. Satistical data analysis was completed using the SAS package programs for descriptive analysis and t-test. The mean waiting time of island type dafeteria system with separte set -menu was shorter than that of the other. In both foodservices, arrival rates were not significantly different from one another , but sevice rates were significnatly high in dafeteria menu systems. The peak time of the queue was found out at combination set menu line. The separate set menu line had a higher servide rate than the combination set menu line. The mean waiting time of the island type cafeteria line was shorter than that of the straifth type . At the straight type dafeterial line, both arrival rate and service rate were higher than those of island-type. The results of this study suggested that a separate set-menu would be more desirable than a combination set-menu in case of providing set menu with cafeteria menu.

버스정보 결측시 검지기 자료를 통한 버스 통행시간의 산정 (Estimation of Bus Travel Time Using Detector for in case of Missed Bus Information)

  • 버스의 서비스 질을 향상시키기 위해서 시행중인 버스정보시스템은 버스의 도착 예정시간을 산정하기 위해서 일정주기동안 통행한 버스의 데이터를 바탕으로 신경망 모형, 칼만필터링, 이동평균법등의 알고리즘을 사용하여 예측한다. 하지만 버스의 데이터 결측으로 인하여 버스의 도착 예정 시간을 산정하기 어려울 때는 버스의 시간대별 패턴 데이터를 구축하여 이를 활용하지만, 일반적으로 오차의 범위가 크다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도착 예정 시간을 산정하기 위해 링크에 설치된 대기행렬 검지기 자료를 이용하여 버스의 링크통행 시간을 산정한다. CORSIM Version 5.1 시뮬레이션 패키지를 이용하여 검지기 지점 속도를 보정하여 검지기 지점속도를 바탕으로 버스의 통행시간을 산정한다.

  • M/G/1 queue with server vacations period depending on the previous vacation and customer's arrival is considered. Most existing studies on M/G/1 queue with server vacations assume that server vacations are independent of customers' arrival. However, some vacations are terminated by some class of customers' arrival in certain queueing systems. In this paper, therefore, we investigate M/G/1 queue with server vacations where each vacation period has different distribution and vacation length is influenced by customers' arrival. Laplace-Stieltjes transform of the waiting time distribution and the distribution of number of customers waiting for each class of customers are respectively derived. As performance measures, mean waiting time and average number of customers waiting for each class of customers are also derived.

예약도착 대기행렬을 활용한 함정정비 최적 예약시간 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Appointment Scheduling for the Ship Maintenance with Queueing System with Scheduled Arrivals)

  • Queueing system with scheduled arrivals is useful in many fields where both customers' waiting time and servers' operation time (utilization) are important, and arrival time of customers is possible to be controlled. In this paper, we analyzed the operation of ship maintenance with the queueing system with scheduled arrival. Based on the model presented by Pegden and Rosenshine [8], who dealt with exponential service time, we extended the service time distributions to phase-type distribution which is able to include a wide range of real stochastic phenomena. Since most activities in the military are carried out under tight control and schedule, scheduled arrival queue has quite good applicability in this area. In this context, we applied queue with scheduled arrival to the optimal booking time decision for the ship maintenance in the navy.

Pseudo Inverse를 이용한 악취분류와 악취원 분석 (Odor Classification and Source Analysis using Pseudo Inverse)

  • 본 논문에서는 특정 시점, 특정 장소의 대기 중에 발생하는 악취의 발생원을 추적하기 위한 악취분류 및 악취원 분석 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 악취원별 대표패턴의 생성이 필요하다. 이에 주요 악취원에서 측정한 67개의 악취를 악취 대표패턴으로 생성하였다. 또한, 여러 악취가 대기 중에서 섞였을 경우를 고려하여 2~3개의 악취들을 조합하여 복합 악취 대표패턴을 생성하였고, pseudo inverse method를 이용하여 악취에 대한 악취원들의 가중치를 계산하였다. 그 결과 해당 악취를 발생시킨 악취원들과 악취에 대한 기여도를 알아낼 수 있었다. 이러한 본 연구의 성과는 악취 관련 민원해결에 기여할 것으로 전망된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 유럽의 ETSI(European Telecommunication Standards Institute)에서 표준화를 진행 중에 있는 유럽형 고속 무선 근거리 통신망인 HIPERLAN(HIgh PErformance Radio Local Area Network) 타입 1의 채널접근제어 프로토콜인 EY-NPMA(Elimination Yield - Non-preemptive Priority Multiple Access)프로토콜의 성능을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 EY-NPMA 프로토콜의 분석을 위해 시스템 모델을 설정하였으며, 채널접근 시도에서 성공할 확률과 경쟁 단계의 평균 길이를 분석하였다. 또한 M/G/1 대기행렬 모델을 사용하여 정규화된 지연시간과 처리율을 근사화 하였으며, 이러한 분석결과를 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

학교건축(學校建築)의 세면기(洗面器) 및 음용수(飮用水) 시설(施設) 계획(計劃)에 관한 연구(硏究) -세면기와 음수대의 적정 수 산정을 중심으로- (A Study on planning lavatories and drinking fountains required in school -focused on the optimal numbers-)

  • Functional school planning has long been considered a fundamental concept of school design. However. in planning educational facilities, it is also important to include the dimensions of comfort, convenience and healthfulness. The school lavatories and drinking fountains are one of most crucial elements for the recent changing face in healthful school design, but the number of lavatories and drinking fountains in most schools may not be sufficient to meet current needs. This study aims to suggest a guideline in designing school sanitary fixture and propose the optimal number of lavatories and drinking fountains regarded to age and sex. The survey is conducted through questionnaires collected from 998 respondents including 300 teachers In ChungNam province. Based on the results of the survey and a formulae, it is suggested that the number of lavatories be required by ratio of 30 boys per unit fixture and 22 girls per unit fixture in the elementary, middle and high school. It is also suggested that the number of drinking fountains be required by ratio of 65 students per unit fixture. The formulae proposed in this paper can be used for other plumbing fixtures required in school facilities.

단일 휴가형 Geo/Geo/1/K 대기행렬의 바쁜 기간 분석 (Busy Period Analysis of the Geo/Geo/1/K Queue with a Single Vacation)

  • Discrete-time Queueing models are frequently utilized to analyze the performance of computing and communication systems. The length of busy period is one of important performance measures for such systems. In this paper, we consider the busy period of the Geo/Geo/1/K queue with a single vacation. We derive the moments of the length of the busy (idle) period, the number of customers who arrive and enter the system during the busy (idle) period and the number of customers who arrive but are lost due to no vacancies in the system for both early arrival system (EAS) and late arrival system (LAS). In order to do this, recursive equations for the joint probability generating function of the busy period of the Geo/Geo/1/K queue starting with n, 1 ≤ n ≤ K, customers, the number of customers who arrive and enter the system, and arrive but are lost during that busy period are constructed. Using the result of the busy period analysis, we also numerically study differences of various performance measures between EAS and LAS. This numerical study shows that the performance gap between EAS and LAS increases as the system capacity K decrease, and the arrival rate (probability) approaches the service rate (probability). This performance gap also decreases as the vacation rate (probability) decrease, but it does not shrink to zero.

디지털 패브리케이션 전문 건설업체 역할 및 성과 분석 - 비정형 포디움 시공 사례를 중심으로 - (Specialty Contractor's Role and Performance Analysis for Digital Fabrication - Focusing on the case of irregular podium construction -)

  • Recently, there have been increasing studies on the application of digital technology, which has its focus of the irregular building. However, most of these studies have not clarified the objective of the technology and the effectiveness of professional manpower on its performance. This study analyzes actual used technology and the role of specialty contractor. It presents a framework to quantify the performance of the specialty contractor. For these purposes, this paper presents a proposed method to evaluate the activities of specialty contractors using a queueing model. As an attempt to verify the model, an actual irregular building project, in which digital fabrication is applied, is investigated during the construction phase. In order to collect the digital fabrication data, digital fabrication reports and specialty contractor's work log of project are reviewed. In addition, Digital Fabrication input personnel, productivity data are collected through interviews with experts involving in the case project. Analysis of specialty contractor's performance in digital fabrication reveals that the wait status of project participants varies probabilistically depending on the digital technology application level. The results of this study are expected to contribute toward the improvement of the production level in the construction industry.
