This paper aims to benchmark the United States' LRIP, the country's initial production policy, and provide a Korean version of such policy which reflects the circumstances of the country's weapon system research & development(R&D) and acquisition procedures. The research suggests measures to improve the country's initial production policy in a direction that the policy could execute two stage continuously: (1) employment test & evaluation(OT&E), conducted on prototypes during the development stage, and (2) field employment tests(FT), conducted on initial products during the production stage. In addition, the research provides an equation calculating the optimal number of initial test products to be produced, applying statistical theories of t-distribution. The research aims to be used a reference to calculate the optimal number of initial products to be produced for testing in order to improve future national defense acquisition systems and the stable R&D of weapons systems.

The recovery and purification of a paclitaxel from plant cell cultures is essential to commercial process. This review describes a large-scale recovery and purification method for producing paclitaxel, to guarantee high purity and yield from plant cell cultures. Also, the process of separation and purification is optimized in conjunction with a extraction step, pre-purification, purification, and polishing (drying) as an integrated process to meet final product quality requirements such as purity, residual solvents, product morphologies, impurities, bacterial endotoxin, etc. This information is very useful for production and quality control of pharmaceuticals in commercialization step.

오늘날 우리나라 기업들이 정부가 경제운용방식을 민간주도의 경제운용방식으로 전환하겠다는 정부시책에 따라 총합적품질관리(TQC)를 정착화하여, 기업의 재무구조를 개선하고, 생산성 및 품질향상을 통하여 국제경쟁에 이기기 위하여, 전국적으로 TQC 정착화운동을 활발히 전개하고 있음은 주지의 사실이다. TQC의 진수를 이루고 있는 것이 통계적품질관리(SQC)이므로 통계적방법의 공업에의 응용면을 찾아보는 것은 SQC 기법의 활용도를 찾아보는 것과 동일하다고 본다. 공업통계의 활용은 생산성향상과 공산품의 품질향상에 직결되므로 차제에 우리나라 기업이 어느 정도 통계교육을 받고 있고, 어느 정도 활용하고 있나를 파악한 후, 그것을 분석하고, 개선대책을 내놓는다면 커다란 의의가 있다고 생각되나, 필자의 제한된 경험과 제한된 자료, 제한된 시간 관계상, 그렇게하지 못함을 송구스럽게 생각한다. 본논문은 필자의 한국공업표준협회의 품질관리교육, 품질관리대상심사, 품질관리분임조경쟁대회심사 등을 통한 제한된 경험과 자료를 가지고, 한국공업통계이용현황에 관하여 기술한 것이다. 첫째로 우리나라 기업의 공업통계교육현황을 살펴보고, 둘째로 우리나라 기업이 공업통계를 제품의 개발단계에서 생산단계, 판매단계에 이르기까지 어떻게 활용하고 있는지 그 정도를 살펴보고, 셋째로는 앞으로의 우리나라 기업의 공업통계활용활성화방안에 대하여 필자 나름대로의 의견을 진술하고자 한다.

Industrial parks have played a pivotal role in leading and sustaining economic and regional development in Korea. It is conventionally known that industrial parks induce a variety of effects in regional economy from a formation stage to an operational stage. Notwithstanding it is surprising that there is almost no literature on economic effects of the formation and operation of industrial parks. In this paper we attempt to measure economic effects of the formation of industrial parks in Gimhae, Sanmak (Yangsan) and Haman in Gyeongnam. The formation stage of industrial park is divided into a site renovation stage, a firm location stage and an operational stage. This research shows that economic effects of the formation of industrial parks can be different by the characteristics of individual industrial park. Particularly, the main sectors of industry to be located in an industrial park can be to a great extent influential for the effects of the new creation of industrial park on productive inducement and job creation.

본 연구는 김정은 집권 이후 북한 농업부문에서 계획과 시장의 공존 양태를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 북한 협동농장의 계획 수행 과정을 계획수립-계획실행-계획평가 단계로 나누어 추적한 결과, 협동농장에 대한 계획화체계의 골격은 상대적으로 강하게 유지하고 있다. 계획수립과 계획평가 단계에서는 명령식 계획경제의 틀을 고수하고 있다. 그러나 계획실행 즉 자금·자재·노동력 등 생산요소 확보-생산-생산물 처분 단계에서는 당국 및 상급기관의 사실상 방임 하에 협동농장이 적극적인 시장과의 연계를 통해 자력으로 일을 추진하고 있다. 농업부문의 계획 밖 영역, 즉 시장에서의 변화실태를 파악한 결과, 농업관련 제반 시장들이 새롭게 만들어져 성장하고 있다. 농산물 소비재시장(곡물시장, 채소시장, 축산물시장, 과일시장), 농업 및 비농업 생산재시장(영농자재시장, 식품원료 및 식자재시장)이 생겼으며 점차커지고 있다. 도시의 구매력 향상에 따라 다양한 먹을거리에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 자가소비를 목적으로 생산하던 농산물을 남에게 팔기 위한 '상품'으로 인식함으로써 수요를 겨냥한 공급 확대 등 중요한 변화가 나타났다. 농촌의 구매력도 커지면서 영농자재 시장의 수요와 공급이 늘어났다. 이는 시장화에 일시적으로 후행하던 농촌이 도시 수요를 겨냥한 농업생산에 본격적으로 나서게 됨으로써 시장경제적 질서에 재편입하고, 시장연계활동의 많고 적음에 따라 농촌간 격차가 나타나는 등 북한 농업부문이 개발도상국 경제에서 출현하는 농업근대화의 초기 양상과 일부 유사함을 말해준다.

IT convergence with agriculture is expected to bring more efficiency and quality improvement in pre-production stage, Production stage, post-production stage of agricultural products with the aid of information processing and autonomous control technologies of the IT area. This paper describes the actualized convergence service for agriculture, namely Smart Farming as a solution to cope various problems caused by severe conditions or the gap of viewpoints between the people engaged in farming and the IT engineers. In particular this defines service capabilities for Smart Farming, provides a reference model for Smart Farming, and identifies network capabilities required to produce an infrastructure which supports Smart Farming.

The impact of technical innovation upon technical development and production stage in small and medium industry was analyzed through a survey. 54.0% of the respondents answered that employee invention compensation system was 'highly helpful' to technical innovation, while 23% 'important'. 170 of the respondents answered that technical innovation due to employee invention compensation system took place at the stage of 'technical development', while 138 'idea gathering'. That explains that many innovative activities are taking place in the course of idea gathering from customers, competitors and experts; and production stage also requires innovative activities.

The global economic crisis made most of governments to overcome the economic depression as well as the challenging tasks for global warming. It is not easy political vision to harmonize these two rabbits race, and thus it needs to be developed new paradigm for the sustainable development. Unfortunately, the traditional cost-approach based productivity could not resolve this trade-off relation. Therefore, the paper is aimed to develop new approach on the green productivity index with the DEA models in the 1st stage, and then based on these green productivity scores, the paper is analyzed the determinants of these green productivity in the 2nd stage among the G 20 countries. The empirical result shows that the effect of GDP, carbon intensity, and capital and labor intensity toward the green growth is positive on the green productivity, while the level of government efforts is not significant on the green productivity.

현재 우리나라에서는 통합경영체의 '통합' 개념을 '수직통합', '계열화' 등으로 다양하고 사용하고 있다. '통합경영체'는 '농축산물이 생산부터 소비에 이르기까지의 과정에 있어 단계들의 일부 또는 전부를 결합 운영하거나 단계간 협력체계를 유지함에 있어 의사결정의 중심이 되는 경영체'를 말하는 것이다. 육계산업은 수직통합이 타 축종에 비해 급속히 진행되면서 규모화된 기업 위주로 재편 되고 있다. 특히 2003년부터 시행된 HACCP 규정과 2007년 1월부터 시행된 개체포장의무화로 열악한 공장설비와 충분한 자금력을 갖추지 못한 영세업체, 단순 임도계업체, 수입닭고기에 의존하는 일부 단체급식소의 유통업체들은 점차적으로 자연 도태될 것으로 전망 된다. 따라서 향후 육계산업의 대표적인 경쟁요소는 수직통합에 필요한 단계간 유기적 결합과 시설의 규모 및 최선 설비에 따라 경쟁력이 결정될 것으로 보인다. 이와 같은 요인들은 생산비 절감을 통한 생산성 향상과 직접적으로 연결되고 있다. 이번호에서는 해외 대표적인 통합경영체인 미국 타이슨(Tyson Foods)의 통합경영에 대 해 살펴보고자 한다.
