Study of Methodology for Recognizing Multiple Objects (다중물체 인식 방법론에 관한 연구)

  • In recent computer vision or robotics fields, the research area of object recognition from image using low cost web camera or other video device is performed actively. As study for this, there are various methodologies suggested to retrieve objects in robotics and vision research areas. Also, robotics is designed and manufactured to aim at doing like human being. For instance, a person perceives apples as one see apples because of previously knowing the fact that it is apple in one's mind. Like this, robotics need to store the information of any object of what the robotics see. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an methodology that we can rapidly recognize objects which is stored in object database by using SIFT (scale invariant feature transform) algorithm to get information about the object. And then we implement the methodology to enable to recognize simultaneously multiple objects in an image.

  • MANET은 전형적인 무선 네트워킹과는 다른 새로운 무선 네트워킹 파라다임으로써 기존 유선 망의 하부 구조에 의존하지 않고 이동 호스트틀로만 구성된 네트워크이다. Ad Hoc망에서 통신을 하기 위해서는 출발지 노드에서 목적지 노드까지 데이터 전송을 위한 라우팅에 관한 문제이다. Ad Hoc망에서는 모든 단말기의 위치변화가 가능하기 때문에 경로설정에 어려움이 따른다. 노드간에 정보를 보내고자 할 때 노트가 인접한 상태가 아니면 정보를 직전 보낼 수 없고 여러 중간 노드들을 거쳐서 정보를 보내는 다중-홉 라우팅 방식을 사용해야 한다. 따라서 중간 노드들은 패킷 라우터의 역할을 해야하는데 무선 통신 자체가 좁은 대역폭과 한정된 채널을 가지고 전송 범위가 제한되는 문제가 있다. 또한 노트 자체의 이동성과 전력 소모 등으로 인한 이탈은 망 위상을 수시로 변화시키므로 노트간에 정보를 전송하는데 가장 종은 경로는 수시로 변경될 수 있으므로 많은 어려움이 따르게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제의 해결방안으로 경로유지 과정에서 Ad Hoc망 내의 노드들은 이동성의 특성으로 인해 현재 사용되는 경로 보다 더 짧고 효율적인 경로가 발생하고 중간 노트가 이동 될 때 새로운 경로로 갱신하여 솔기없는 최적의 경로를 유지할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 ZRP의 IERP에서 감청모드를 통하여 사공중인 경로보다 최적의 경로를 감지하여 새로운 경로로 갱신하는 방법과 중간 노드가 이동하여 경로가 깨진 경우 부분적으로 경로를 복구하는 방법을 제시하여 항상 최적화된 경로를 유지함으로써 Ad Hoc망의 위상변화에 대한 적응성을 높일 수 있도록 한다.   • To find out characteristics of TV home shopping's virtual space deepness styling, this study had analysis characteristics of space deepness which is showed on flat TV screen with actually aired 6 dinnerware sales case, at $C^*$ home shopping, March.2005~November.2010, and survey consumer's emotional verbal image according to space styling character to get space deepness, which were shown on flat TV screen with camera angle, and research mutual relation with consumer preference. Also consumer's typical emotional verbal images for each space styling images for brand dinner ware sales had been extracted with reliability analysis, factor analysis, and multi dimensional scaling MDS using SPSS. Styling characteristics of space deepness were contrast of size, layering, vertical arrangement, and perspective arrangement, and used camera angles were bird's eye view, hi angle, and eye level. Result from the research is, highly marked consumer preferred styling material had a deep corelation to material's main factor and perceived emotional verbal images. Therefore this research could bring forward to new consumer preferred styling characteristics according to camera angle. Furthermore, it will be possible to make a study of preferred styling material through evaluation of quantitative spectators of in this area.

  • PoC(Push-to-talk Over Cellular) is an integrated technology of group voice calls, video calls and internet based multimedia services. If a PoC user can not participate in the PoC session for various reasons such as an emergency situation, lack of battery capacity, then the user can use the PoC Box which has a similar functionality to the MM Box in the MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service). The RTSP(Real-Time Streaming Protocol) method is recommended to be used when there is a transmission session between the PoC box and a terminal. Since the existing VOD service uses a wired network, the packet size of RTSP-based VOD service is huge, however, the PoC service has wireless communication environments which have general characteristics to be used in RTSP method. Packet loss in a wired communication environments is relatively less than that in wireless communication environment, therefore, a buffering latency occurs in PoC service due to a play-out delay which means an asynchronous play of audio & video contents. Those problems make a user to be difficult to find the information they want when the media contents are played-out. In this paper, the following techniques and methods were proposed and their performance and superiority were verified through testing: cross-over dual reception buffering technique, advance partition multi-reception buffering technique, and on-demand multi-reception buffering technique, which are designed for effective picking up of information in media content being transmitted in short amount of time using RTSP when a user searches for media, as well as for reduction in playback delay; and same-priority packetization transmission method and priority-based packetization transmission method, which are media data packetization methods for transmission. From the simulation of functional evaluation, we could find that the proposed multiple receiving buffering and packetizing methods are superior, with respect to the media retrieval inclination, to the existing single receiving buffering method by 6-9 points from the viewpoint of effectiveness and excellence. Among them, especially, on-demand multiple receiving buffering technology with same-priority packetization transmission method is able to manage the media search inclination promptly to the requests of users by showing superiority of 3-24 points above compared to other combination methods. In addition, users could find the information they want much quickly since large amount of informations are received in a focused media retrieval period within a short time.

  • In this paper a web-based real-time education system, which is able to support education through multimedia, is suggested for the expansion of learner's creative ability in the school. This system is designed so that it can support three things: 1) a real time interaction between instructors and learners, 2) individual learning through such an interaction, and 3) a coercive distribution of display by instructions for preventing the deviation of learners from learning. Also, this system, which UML is applied to, makes efficient interaction possible through the module for the real-time exchange and management of messages even in the multi-user environment. Through this system, not only the simulation by learners can be made for experiments and practices, but also Questions and respondence can be supported on the procedure of experiments and the analysis of their results. This system is built on constructivism, and aimed at helping the learning progress and knowledge formation of learners.

  • The ISDB-T(Integrated Service Digital Broadcasting Terrestrial) can be used in the multipath and impulsive noise, also it provide good performance over mobile reception environment since it use the OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) based transmission technology and time interleaving technology. One segment and full segment are divided according to the number of the assigned segment. And one-segment broadcasting receiver can design and implement without high levels of technology than the full-segment broadcasting receiver using 64QAM(64 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) since it uses QPSK(Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) modulation/demodulation. However, it has a constraint in the display size and resolution due to data-rate limits. In this paper, we design and implementation of full-segment ISDB-T receiver module which support HD resolution for set-top box, digital TV, navigation. In experimental results, the implemented full-segment ISDB-T receiver module was satisfactory for all of the desired functions.

  • 대청호로 유입하는 탁수의 감시와 저수지내의 시공간분포를 예측할 수 있는 실시간 탁수감시 및 예측시스템(RTMMS)을 개발하였다. RTMMS는 탁도와 수온 등 실시간 계측자료를 데이터베이스에 저장.조회하는 실시간 감시(Realtime Monitoring), 2차원 탁수예측 수치모델의 입력자료 생성(Input Data), 탁수예측 수치모델의 수행 (W2 Run), 모의결과의 조회 및 저수지 운영 시나리오별 탁수조절 효과분석을 위한 후처리 (Post-Process) 기능을 제공한다. 시스템의 GUI 화면은 개별 기능을 탭 형식으로 제공하여 사용자가 순차적으로 자료조회와 모델수행 그리고 결과분석을 쉽게 수행할 수 있도록 설계하였다. RTMMS는 강우사상 동안 유입하천의 수온예측을 위해 대기기온, 이슬점온도, 하천유량자료를 독립변수로 이용하는 다중회귀모델(DMR)을 사용하며, 탁도 예측은 유량과 SS 부하량의 상관관계를 이용하는 탁도예측모델(QLM)을 사용한다. 저수지로 유입한 탁수의 밀도류 거동과 시공간적인 탁도분포 예측은 2차원 횡방향 평균 수리 수질해석 모형인 CE-QUAL-W2를 채택하였다. 개발된 시스템은 2004년 홍수기를 대상으로 시범적용 하였으며, 그 결과를 실측자료와 비교하여 제시하였다. RTMMS는 저수지 탁수발생 현황조회, 취수원 도달시간 및 지속기간, 밀도류와 전도현상을 고려한 시공간 분포 예측, 발전 및 수문방류, 선택취수 등 다양한 저수지운영 시나리오에 따른 상.하류 영향 분석, 용수 이용자에게 탁도 예측정보의 제공 등 탁수를 고려한 저수지운영 의사결정지원 도구로써 매우 유용하게 활용 될 것으로 기대된다.

But Imported agricultural products include various agricultural chemicals and food additives. In this paper, established system that use Monitoring technology, to inform production information and management information about agricultural products to consumer by real time. Therefore unused analog camera such as CCTV(Closed-Circuit Television) for real time Monitoring. This system Used web camera that offer picture quality that is good than CCTV at place that consists network without distinction in the place. An advantage of real time Monitoring system designed multi-vision interface showing multi images on single screen and, for the purpose of the improvement in efficiency, the functions of saving images and of scheduling the time to save the images.

  • Due to the development of the digital technology, the territories of broadcasting and telecommunications are being converged and there have been the efforts to eliminate the spatial and/or temporal restrictions in utilizing the services (usually implemented as applications) via various devices (e.g. smart-phone, smart TV, pad-computer, etc). In the circumstances, Web is coming to the fore as a common running platform of the services and the digital broadcasting receivers are pressed to run Web applications as well as Java applications, which are the standard of data service of the digital broadcasting. The paper introduces a platform for running HTML5-based Web applications, which is equipped with a Web kernel (an engine for running HTML5 Web applications), a Web desktop (the facilities (with an UI similar to Window OS) for managing Web applications), and SDK (a set of API's for Web application developers).

  • This paper describes a GPS signal generator that can generate multiple satellite signals in real time at the RF level. It realizes the verified software algorithm on a FPGA. The algorithm models orbits and environmental errors such as ionospheric and tropospheric multipath. The position of a simulated receiver is one of simulation parameters. The hardware which consists of a digital logic board and an analog board can generate 16 simulated satellites signals at the same time. The users can generate spoofing signals and jamming signals as well as satellite signals by using the windows-based control software. In addition, the software provides GIS-based simulation scenarios editing tools. We verified the generator by using commercial receivers. As an application, we configured generators as indoor positioning systems and tested them in a building. To improve the accuracy of indoor systems is our further study.
